Description

Members of the party have received an invitation to the "Truest World", Greenharbor, a perfect utopia void of any inhabitants to enjoy its advantages. Won't you be the first? The moon welcomes you heartily. A short campaign perfect for people with an interest in indie releases and story driven games. We're looking for one or two extra players for a group of two + GM. This will be a shorter campaign. We're aiming for one session zero plus three sessions of actual play, but we may end up going longer as needed. We will use Discord for voice calls, and tldraw as a whiteboard. This game does not have a heavy focus on combat or mechanics, and is moreso about collective storytelling. For those who are unfamiliar with the system, here's the pitch: REALIS is a storytelling focused game in which each character begins with a list of four broad and archetypical class sentences which they can use to effect change in the world, so long as they are not opposed by a sentence of higher rank. As each player advances, these sentences gain in rank, but their effect becomes more restricted and specific. For example, if you play the Juggernaut, you begin with the rank 0 sentence: "I am always unstoppable." When you progress to rank 1, you must add a restrictive clause such as: "When I have my physical therapist to take care of me, I am always unstoppable." You are now more powerful, but have more conditions to fill in order to be effective.

Hi, I'm warphraim, he/him. I'm a very rusty GM and a slightly less rusty player, and in both respects I tend to prefer playing story driven games. I especially have an interest in Belonging Outside Belonging, Forged In The Dark, worldbuilding games.

Gundam Epsilon, A Universal

Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
I am looking for 3–4 players for an open-ended campaign set in the Gundam Universal Century timeline!  we will use Owlbear About the Campaign: Timeline: Starting during the One Year War (OYW) and continuing for as long as the story takes us—until the squad either falls in battle or decides to retire. Player Choice Matters: Your starting faction, objectives, and assets will be dictated by the choices you make as a group. You have the power to change the course of UC history or become another victim of its tragedy. Sandbox & Dynamic Storytelling: This is a heavy sandbox campaign. I love building the world around player motivations and goals. Some sessions will be purely character-driven roleplay with little to no combat, while others will drop you straight into gritty, intense battlefields. Custom Art: As a GM bonus, I can provide custom sprite art for your custom Mobile Suits and potentially your characters! What I Ask from Players: Patience & Feedback: I am a first-time GM stepping over to the other side of the screen for my first full campaign (after running a couple of one-shots). I might make mistakes, but I am very open to constructive tips and feedback! Roleplay Focus: We are here to craft a compelling story together, not just min-max or go on kill streaks. If you want to shape the Universal Century, this is your chance.

West Marches / Living World
One world and a big pool of players, but no fixed party - whoever signs up that week is who plays.
Combat focused
Fights, tactics and initiative take up most of the table time.
Short Story Long ago, the land was consumed by war. Cities fell, countless lives were lost, and fear spread as the Avatar, a malevolent force, unleashed demons and monsters across the realm. In time, a band of heroes from distant lands, joined by champions of the realm itself, rose to face the darkness. Through their courage and sacrifice, the Avatar was finally defeated, and peace was restored. Yet not all wounds healed so easily. During the war, one of the dwarven clans, driven by greed and manipulated by the Avatar’s influence, sided with the forces of darkness. Though the evil was defeated, the stain of that betrayal remained. Trust in the dwarves was broken, and many races and rival clans never truly forgave them. Now, in the city of Amber Trees, also known as Amber City, a new chapter begins. To rebuild their honor and restore faith in their people, the dwarves have founded an adventurers’ guild, offering brave souls the chance to take on dangerous missions, defend the realm, and shape its future. Our adventurers arrive in Amber City in search of glory, fortune, and purpose. By taking up the guild’s call, they will not only forge their own legends, but also help the dwarves reclaim the trust they lost and prove that redemption can be earned through courage, loyalty, and deeds. After some time the dwarven guilds regained some of their reputation back with the help of some powerful heroes. They are now sending caravans to the elven and human territories guarded by the new adventurers and you are one of them. ↠Amount of Players recommended for session: 3 or 4 players ↠Type of Campaign: Campaign with westmarch style+ Homebrew setting ↠Game System: 5e 2014 + UA with homebrew rules where we dont have any rules in the books ↠Game Style: more on Combat and less on Roleplay ↠Voice Chat: Required, we will use discord ↠Difficulty of Campaign: easy ↠Experience Level: - Any, everyone is welcome ↠Starting Level: Players will make lvl 1 characters with point buy and do one-shots westmarch style low lvl quests with other random players that are online at the same time as them until they form a stable party to go after the high lvl campaign quests. ↠General Overview of Campaign: After a big war that included many races one of them lost its trust . They were the Dwarves. Some of their clans sided with the bad guys in the war. Players will start as new adventurers recruited by a guild with the purpose to help cities, towns and settlements and get that lost trust back. ↠Length of Campaign: Big Adventure Campaign with small one shots westmarch style that has saved progress at the end until a stable party is formed to do the hard campaign quests ↠Game Duration: 2-3 hours ↠Day and Time: to hold a session we need at least 3 players online at the same time (recommended ) and i have a window of 16h to hold games every day ↠Session Frequency: every day ↠Player Expectations: - Have a stable connection, no background noise and a good mic. ↠How to Apply: give me a message

Homebrew

Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Monday, Tuesday A group decides on day & time Most people will probably play between 16:00 – 21:00 (GMT+0) It'll be played in a Discord voice chat "Theatre of the Mind" playstyle (means no VTT) Discord (weebseatshit) *PREMISE* You are dragged into a dangerous encounter together with other unlucky ones. Now you are bonded whether you want it or not. Since you are a witness, some people want you dead, watch your back(s) & trust no one It's an RP-focused, casual, beginner-friendly Forgotten Realms based homebrew campaign, with an emphasis on story & adventures Ratio: 60 Roleplay/30 Exploration/10 Combat Starting level is 1, Point Buy, Milestone leveling Spells become cantrips, a player can cast them without components or GP Cooldown of spells depends from their power level & the DM's will, but if a player is gonna spam spells, i'll Elfen Lied him or put some shit like Leo Bonhart from Witcher  Some spells that affect game's balance & world, may be forbidden. It'll be discussed HP are cinematic. Depending from how much & what kind of damage a character receives, i'll adjust his condition Only these races are allowed: Human, Elf (Moon, Wood), Dwarf, Goliath, Tiefling (Purple, Pink, Blue), Tystling (a human with cat ears (& eyes)) Artificer & Psion aren't allowed I'll describe locations & looks with little to no detail Just like with the books, i'd prefer that every player imagined their own stuff (& because there may be an info that player may not get or just ignore) About forbidden spells As an example, this is only level 1 Wizard, but i hope you get an idea Mending Charm Person Detect Magic Detect Poison and Disease Friends Unseen Servant Tasha's Hideous Laughter Sudden Awakening Sleep Sense Emotion Puppet Identify Id Insinuation Healing Elixir Disguise Self Comprehend Languages Cause Fear Ressurection & lethal spells Instead of using ability checks or in-game tools (acquiring unique items, talking to people, searching for clues, improvise), a player casts a spell that speedruns a campaign But a player can prepare all other spells A tystling is similar to a cat Monochrome darkvision Enhanced senses: smell, hearing, vision, touch & balance (+3 Dexterity, Perception, Acrobatics) Soft step: walking is almost noiseless (unless a tystling has something noisy on), running is slightly quieter comparing to other races (+4 Stealth) A tystling is shorter than an elf, but taller than a dwarf A tystling is slim like an elf, but lighter than an elf, with smaller muscles. That makes a tystling even more agile & dexterous than an elf, but it's very hard for a tystling to lift or carry medium heavy things (8 AC, -5 Strength, Athletics)
