Hello, there! I am a veteran player (38-years-old) who switched to D&D 5.5 ever since its release and has played sessions weekly (even multiple times a week). My window of availability is between 6 AM and 11:30 AM, and between 2 PM and 10:30 PM, CET times. I like exploration and all kinds of discoveries. I enjoy RP the most when it furthers the characters, the campaign's story or both. I like combat especially when it mixes in interesting mechanics and objectives, and when I can be creative in my descriptions and my actions. I love overcoming challenges, whatever form they take, through teamwork and preparation. I like believable character actions, because I value immersion a lot, which is why I generally prefer a serious tone over a silly one. Jokes are more than fine, but I much prefer it when they don't undercut tense and emotional moments. As a player, I'm committed, invested in the story and a note-taker, I gravitate the most towards themes related to morality, knowledge/lore and creativity/art, I take my time to gather information and strategize, and I'm good-aligned pretty much always. I never come into a campaign with a clear idea on what character to play, as I very much enjoy trying to weave species, class, concept and backstory with the campaign's world, letting the latter inspire character creation itself. So I tend to ask some questions after I join a new game, to get a better idea and then decide, with an eye on party composition as well. As a person, I'm a big believer in fairness, I'm as anti-toxicity as it gets, and I'm respectful, inclusive, punctual and communicative.

Hi there! I'm Frau Elster, 34, located in Hanover, Germany. I have been playing TTRPGs for roughly a year now. It became quite a hyperfixation and thanks to a local open club I've gotten the chance to test some systems and get an idea of what I enjoy in this game. At the moment I really enjoy Daggerheart but I am open to other systems. Ideally, of course, the group vibes and gets along. That's a wish of mine but of course can't be forced. I tend to enjoy smaller groups up to 4, sometimes 5, on a bi-weekly schedule in the evening. I love creating complex characters with a few defining moments already having happened to them to help flesh them out. It didn't happen yet but I'd love to experience what it's like to have a ongoing campaign that weaves in the characters' backgrounds. Usually I have a concept in mind before I create a character and then read through _a lot_ of materials and sources to find the build and world-related backgrounds that fit. For example: My last character (for dagger heart) was a werewolf ranger who became a guerrila fighter because she feels like a advocat on agency and freedom of choice. For DnD, I am in the midst of creating a tabaxi stardruid whose base idea was that she looks like a black jaguar and has the constellations map right there in the spots of her fur. Or I knew I wanted a gnome raised by ice giants who draws her magic from the aurora and can hit really hard and now I have several tabs open haha I enjoy good atmospheric horror and am actually thinking about hosting The Magnus Archive TTRPG. But that's a project for the future. Coming from a theatre background I love roleplay and the chaotic rule of cool being applied more than dungeon crawling, rule crunching and min/max-ing. Social encounters and exploration are big to me. Do you know that one friend who needs to check every question mark in a video game? Yeah that's me (and is also a reason why I love Breath of the Wild. Exploring was very much rewarded in this game.) As a GM I love putting in puzzles but that is always a hit or miss with me as a player. In general I would say I am a bit of a chaotic player who enjoys discussing concepts, impulsive decision making and creative brainstorming with the others. It would be important to me that the players share the spotlight and know how to communicate constructively and mindfully.

A little about me: I'm 22 years old and relatively new to the **World of Darkness** universe. While I haven't had much direct experience playing WoD games, I've been an enthusiast of the setting and its lore for quite some time. Mage immediately caught my attention when I first discovered it, and I fell in love with the system's themes, philosophies, and the endless possibilities created by different paradigms and beliefs. Hey! I'm Ash, a nonbinary adult from California who's a big fan of things like Percy Jackson, Warhammer 40K, Star Wars/Star Trek, Hazbin Hotel, Murder Drones (and other GLITCH shows), and Wings of Fire. I like to play more casual, laid-back games - as in, not insanely serious, where a more silly character doesn't stand out too much. For example, a Southern tiefling bard whose favorite instrument is the fiddle, or a combo warlock-cleric, or even a warforged cleric of the forge. That being said, I am perfectly willing and able to create more serious characters if the setting leans that way. What I'm trying to say is, I'm pretty flexible in my character-making. I tend to play characters with well-thought-out backstories, and usually add in a quirk or two that sets them apart - along with a bit of myself, of course. I enjoy good roleplay, although I may have trouble with it myself, and I love a good combat. A lot of my past characters have been more combat-oriented, but even so, I still try to create interesting backstories and social interactions with them. I've been playing D&D for at least four or five years now, since before 5.5e, and I'm much more familiar with 5e than 5.5e. Also, I thoroughly enjoy helping to teach or actually teaching new people how to play. Actual introduction: Basically, I miss roleplaying, and I want to do it again ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯ I'm in my early 40s (but look ~18, which often leads to comedic moments IRL), queer (he/they), white... jaded with the way things are currently, globally - but then, who isn't? But trying to stay silly. I used to play a lot in my teens and twenties - various DnDs, Vampire, Changeling, Call of Cthulhu, 40K the RPG, Finsterland, homebrew systems... I've run a one-shot with the Dungeonworld system and an aborted DnD5 campaign. I'm open to all systems. I *think* I prefer a roleplay-focused style (combat in DnD bores me to pieces), but then maybe I haven't experienced fun combat in a TTRPG yet? I like solving mysteries/riddles, having an adventure, having fun, maybe even good banter. I tend to play characters on the goody-two-shoes side (they could be criminals, but they would have standards, lol). Personal no-no's include torture, body horror, anti-queerness, misogyny, probably racism; though it really depends on how it's handled. Absolutely no LLM ("AI") crap. After skimming the "how to write your description" text (yes, isn't it great that I wrote most of the previous BEFORE I did that? I'm very smart. No seriously, it's been thousand degrees weather for weeks and my brain is fried): my favourite book series are Discworld and the Muderbot Diaries. Favourite videogames include Dishonored, Disco Elysium, Dragon Age. Fave TV series include Leverage, Severance, Star Trek DS9, AtLA. My hands-down favourite actual play podcast "series" is The Adventure Zone: Amnesty. (Balance is also good but Amnesty is where they peaked, imo) (I also greatly enjoy the various Oxventures. Sadface why no update...) Time and day-wise, I prefer Fri, Sat, Sun; *possibly* also Mondays. Flexible on the time as long as it's between 11:00 and 23:00, and if it's an online session I tend to cap out at 3 hours.

I revel in many layered plots that peel like a bag of onions, tuning preset worlds to my signature flavor of horror and hardcore mechanics. My style is deeply immersive, roleplay heavy, and Rule of Cool. I prefer acting in the first person with people who invest creativity in their characters. At the moment, I'd like to focus on horror games and Cyberpunk. I'd love to play other settings of the World of Darkness. I have extensive experience in Call of Cthulhu in the 1920's as well as in Cyberpunk 2020 so I'll adapt to new editions easily. Hi, I am an experienced D&D player who has also dabbled as a DM in the past. I have been playing on and off since high school (I am now in my 30s). My campaigns have often ended early due to real-life schedules, so while I enjoy the game deeply, my late-level experience is somewhat limited. Hey guys, the name is Micahel and I have been playnig dnd for at least I can say back to like 2020-21, after covid stuff ended, I am a big lover of both module games and homebrew games that people make themselves, especially to see and experience thier hard work and world space. I would like to say I chose the 18+/nsfw tags as I tend to use them more to show I like playing with others closer to my age range, 30, and experience games tied to things you may see in grimdark games for example. Now of course my main thing will be: if all the party is cool with it then alright, my liking of it shouldn't trump the care and comfort of others. When it comes to games, I prefer playing support characters to some more front line in the fight types while I am still trying to get better at verbal roleplaying. So if I join games and see a support role needed, I would probably be the first to offer taking classes like Clerics to other classes with subclasses that give a support/healer focus. If there is however the chance to be something else, I would probably take classes like Artificers, Warlocks, Wizards, Barbarians, or Paladins. Whatever the party needs, I am more than willing to take the role to help the party not be lacking a needed coverage. The same is how I tend to rp, I try not to be commanding a scene or talking over others so I may be more of a quiet person till a chance to speak is there. I hate the idea of cutting someone off during a needed question, special moment, and so on. In the future I plan to try running some paid one shots and maybe even a full campaign as I am trying to find something of work I can do that fits within stuff I have going on with myself. If I ever get the chance to, I look forward to making a world you can love being part of.
