Hello, I have three players looking for a game together: two daughters who are 21+ and their Dad, who is 45+. I'm Ariel, and I am in charge of finding us a group. We are ideally looking for a Call of Cthulhu group, but are willing to hear from D&D 3.5 and Vampire: The Masquerade groups at play about 5 hours max and about 2 hours minimum. I used to read the TTRPG books for fun. * I am hoping to learn systems as a player so I can GM one day. * My biggest interests are RPG video games I can play on handheld Nintendo systems, such as Pokémon or Skyrim, choose-your-own-adventure style books, and drawing or writing when I’m able. Alex * Elder sister; got into ttrpgs before COVID when we were teenagers, after being allowed to mess with our Dad’s old books when we were teenagers. Had a resurance during Covid and played with me. * Has some social anxiety and takes time to get comfortable with a group, but does so fairly quickly and is able to play through the anxiety. * Her biggest interests are fantastical fantasy stories with atleast a happyish ending, Pokémon, and random animal facts with a focus on dogs. She is also full of mythology facts. Aaron * Father of the bunch; mostly played TTRPGs as a teenager and young adult, but in the few months spent trying to get back into playing, he agreed to do a group, and years before GMed for his daughters when we were teenagers. * A big fan of cryptids and random knowledge. Something will just pique his interest, and he’ll read about it and can speak about a lot of different things that aren't sports. * His biggest interests are H.P. Lovecraft works and works inspired by his stories, Campy and Terrifying Horror films mostly from the 80s, and Music mostly from before the 2000s of all kinds.

Hi, my online handle is Rhona, but my IRL name is Steve. I am 44 years old, CIS Male, and I live in Portsmouth, UK. I have been roleplaying since the mid-90s, in a variety of systems, as well as freeform text roleplays. I used to do a lot of in-person tabletop RPGs, but as time has moved on, people moved away, and other obligations came up. I miss it though, and I really want to get back into tabletop RPGs in person, rather than just playing online. Especially for the social aspect. I am primarily interested in sci-fi RPGs, and not really D&D or fantasy as much, but I will consider them if they are more story, roleplay, plot and world-building focused, rather than centered around stats, number crunching, dungeon hacks, or silly comedy. Though, the same goes for my interest in RPGs in general; I prefer story, character interaction, plot, immersion and adventure to numbers, rules, and stats. I have a fair bit of experience GMing, but only with a handful of systems. I would be more interested in playing and picking up new systems too. Any group I play with would also have to be very LGBTQIA friendly, non-racist and generally tolerant, understanding, open, friendly, casual and good-natured. I am a bit shy about meeting strangers for roleplaying games, as I have always previously played with friends, and GM'ed for people I know, so this is new to me. I do not have my own transport, so rely on public transport to get to any gaming.

Hiya, I'm a 27yo semi-experienced player with one 3-year homebrew campaign under my belt looking for a weekly/bi-weekly group that meets on Sundays or Saturdays, I am also able to change my schedule to accomodate for Tuesdays or Thursdays as well if needed. I have a pretty consistent schedule and should have no issue meeting on any of those times on a weekly basis. I tend to value combat and roleplay in equal measure, but am fine going a couple sessions with only one or the other if it serves the plot. I'm perfectly okay with reasonable character deaths and love high stakes campaigns. I'm not a stickler for rules but tend to value more RAW than homebrew if possible. Cheers!

Been DM for years and played one campaign to completion. Went through different groups that dissolved in the low levels and now looking for one where everyone is commited about playing. I like to play gishes and have been wanting to play a magus up to high level for a long time. Hi, I'm Patchwork. I'm a 20-something geek who enjoys spending his time on various TTRPGs. My previous group fell apart due to scheduling issues, as most do, so I'm here looking for something new! I'm mostly into the roleplaying aspect of tabletop games, I enjoy immersing myself in whatever character and world I'm put into, and bouncing off party hijinks! I usually put a lot of effort and a decent amount of writing into my characters and their backstories, but I usually do that as a creative writing exercise, and never expect a DM to know it front-to-back (I always put a summarization/TL;DR first). But if you do, all the better! In terms of systems and experience with VTTs, you can already see what systems I've looked into/played, and I've gamed a bunch in Roll20 and Foundry, so I'll have no issues navigating either of those VTTs. But if you have something new, I'm always willing to learn! As for the kind of games I'm looking for, I've been playing Fantasy for quite a long time now, and I'm hoping to get into some Sci-fi settings, and trying out systems in that niche. My significant other and I have gone through 2 short couples themed campaigns with more planned, with most of my experience is with 5/5.5e. Some of my favorite media is the Cosmere (especially the Stormlight Archive and Mistborn Era 1), the Hierarchy series of books, The Expanse (show, haven't read the books yet), Cyberpunk 2077, VtM: Bloodlines, the Warcraft series of games, the Mass Effect series of games and the Anbennar mod for Europa Universalis IV. Hello everyone! my name is Blair, and I am a player looking for more games to play! my schedule just recently opened up, and i need to roll dice and tell some stories! a bit about me: a bulk of my TTRPG experience comes from playing 2014, but i do have experience playing other systems as well, such as Candela Obscura, Daggerheart, Pathfinder, and I've even played a homebrew version of DND. when it comes to me as a player, i do tend to play spellcasters, it just intrigues me a lot more than the martial classes, and when I do play martial classes, i always give them limited magic. I'm also a pretty respectful tablemate, i try to give my fellow players a chance to get involved. along with that, I do engage in romance, both PC and NPC, just depends on whether or not the table is down with that! oh, speaking of romance, i am Queer and trans! with the world that we exist in, I find that it is better for my table to know that upfront than learn that not only am I not cis but also, I like both boys and girls, it's just a fact of life. with that you must be a Queer and trans friendly table as well as a disabled friendly table since I am disabled as well! now to move onto a gm I would prefer: typically, how I'd parse out a potential good GM for me to play under, is I'd do a one-shot with them and see if we're a good fit, and if we can have good conversation, but considering the nature of a post like this, I am willing to forego that! that being said, you still need to have the following: be America-based and even more specifically be CST-based- since I am based in North America, I just can't do uber late games. it's not good for my mental health, and it causes me to be a terrible person for responding to DMs. RP skills - this doesn't mean that you shouldn't at least try to incorporate combat in your sessions but i need those RP skills sharpened to the max! homebrew vs. Module - I am willing to play a module but i would prefer a homebrew world. it shows that you are more than willing to be flexible with your players' stories and want to share that creativity with the world at large. recording vs basic home game - I am very okay and do consent to a recorded game, considering i have been in a few actual plays! that, however, does not mean that i will turn my nose up at a basic home game, in fact that is one of my favorites!

Started playing almost 10 years ago when i heard a friend of mine in our drama class talking about this brand new Edition of Dungeons and Dragons. Never heard of it, decided to try it, got addicted. C'est la vie. From then on i fell in love with the TTRPG world, tried various system (Cyberpunk, Pathfinder, Vampire the Masquerade and many more), I even tried mastering once or twice. As a player I'm very invested in character creation and writing backgrounds, i like to make sure that my PCs are living beings in the world and to narrate their stories through my interpretation. Love roleplay centered campaigns, especially enjoy seeing how the party's characters interact with both each other and the world. Characters developing over time into something different (for better or worse) is always a blast. While I'm not the best character optimizer for combat, I try my best and love combat too. My schedule is very flexible, mainly liking to play sometime M-F. I love playiong heavily flawed characters, gives them room to develop. Class-wise, I mainly just fill to the party's needs, otherwise I default to Warlock or Cleric.

I prefer a good balance of combat and roleplay; so I'm not really into dungeon-crawls (all combat, no roleplay), but also not interested in political intrigue either (all roleplay, no combat). I consider myself an intermediate player, but about half of my experience is actually playing.
