Hello everyone! I'm Riccardo, He/Him, 25 years old, live in Europe. Started playing almost 10 years ago when i heard a friend of mine in our drama class talking about this brand new Edition of Dungeons and Dragons. Never heard of it, decided to try it, got addicted. C'est la vie. From then on i fell in love with the TTRPG world, tried various system (Cyberpunk, Pathfinder, Vampire the Masquerade and many more), I even tried mastering once or twice. As a player I'm very invested in character creation and writing backgrounds, i like to make sure that my PCs are living beings in the world and to narrate their stories through my interpretation. I love to roleplay, to interact with the world, other players and the story. I tend to stay in character but never had a problem with kicking back a bit and goof off with the rest of the party. I'm an Archeologist, last year in Univeristy for my degree. In my spare time I'm a theater actor, visit art gallery and museums, have a passion for cooking and writing. Hello adventurers! We are currently over 30 members on a discord server that started as a newbie friendly tutorial group. The server is beginner-friendly, but we also welcome more experienced players. We focus on learning the basics, improving roleplay, and most importantly, creating a relaxed and enjoyable environment. Hello! I've been playing dnd and other ttrpgs for a little over a year now. Love roleplay centered campaigns, especially enjoy seeing how the party's characters interact with both each other and the world. Characters developing over time into something different (for better or worse) is always a blast. While I'm not the best character optimizer for combat, I try my best and love combat too. My schedule is very flexible, mainly liking to play sometime M-F. I love playiong heavily flawed characters, gives them room to develop. Class-wise, I mainly just fill to the party's needs, otherwise I default to Warlock or Cleric.

I prefer a good balance of combat and roleplay; so I'm not really into dungeon-crawls (all combat, no roleplay), but also not interested in political intrigue either (all roleplay, no combat). I consider myself an intermediate player, but about half of my experience is actually playing. Hello! I'm Oszy, 25 years old, and I'm looking for a group! I'm open to many systems, though my favorites are Pathfinder 2e, Lancer, Vampire: The Masquerade 5E and Cyberpunk RED. I have about 10 years total experience in TTRPGs, and I love learning about new systems! Oh, I don't like D&D 5E (or 5.5E) and Call of Cthulhu, though. I'm more of a roleplay-oriented player, but I don't at all have anything against combat and find it quite fun too! I prefer more mature themes and grittier, darker stories, but with a focus on nurturing the hope and light within the darkness. Some of my favorite media is the Cosmere (especially the Stormlight Archive and Mistborn Era 1), the Hierarchy series of books, The Expanse (show, haven't read the books yet), Cyberpunk 2077, VtM: Bloodlines, the Warcraft series of games, the Mass Effect series of games and the Anbennar mod for Europa Universalis IV. My schedule is pretty open at the moment, but as I'm sure that will change at some point, long term games would probably be best on the weekends.

iv done tabletop with friends before and always was the GM. i even tried to run my own textbased game but could never keep those alive, people eventually just stopped responding even after multiple reminders its their turn in combat. so im looking to be a player this time instead. im fine with both roll20 and discord text play or a öove gameplay deal over roll 20 or similar sites. the three characters i can for DND offer are: -a kobold demolitionist (comic relief obsessed with explosives. this guy would use a more explosives focused subclass for artificer i found on reddit if thats ok with your game) -a tribal tabaxi guy with spear who moves fast and haresses enemies in melee (this character is very cruel and would be only suited to serious games) -a harengon geomancer (this guy would only use earth and stone themed spells and im partial to reflavoring existing spells as earth ones) for other settings i usually have one character per setting. NOTE: im not interested in character creation involving rolled stats i dont like rng deciding my stats i prefer pointbuy.

I'm an adult, but a decently young one, and would prefer to play in a group of a similar age range (18-25). ‼️Important‼️ I have no interest in games that involve the use of generative AI in anyway! I have a decent amount of experience with ttrpgs in general, mainly D&D, but none with the two I'm looking for; Vampire The Masquerade and Lancer (which I recognize have very different vibes XD). For Vtm, I have some rulebooks for V5 and would say I'm decently familiar with it. I've played around with creating a few characters, and have read the books quite throughly, so I don't think I'd need too much help. I just may ask a few questions here and there. For Lancer, well, I have the rulebook. I've started to read it, but I haven't gotten that far. Joining a game would definitely encourage me to read more though, and I'd probably be able to finish it before the first session (I'm a pretty fast reader). Rulebook aside, I do have a little bit of knowledge about the rules, since I've been watching people stream it, but I'll certainly need a decent amount of help- even after I finish reading the book. Finding myself now with an almost completely open schedule, I am compelled to fill up all this free time playing in campaigns. TTRPG campaigns. More and more campaigns... ALL the campaigns! Yes, yes -- I must play them... Ahem. Apologies... I am looking for a campaign (or five) to feed my insatiable hunger join a lively, well-rounded, and sane group of players who like to roleplay, share laughs, make memories, and tell stories collaboratively. New campaign, ongoing campaign, homebrew campaign, published campaign; newly created spot or subbing in for a departee -- new character, fill-in character, NPC, former player's character: no matter. I will join your table with glee and vigor. (note: vigor is extra) I enjoy all three pillars of TTRPGS (combat, roleplay, exploration) and appreciate when there is a healthy balance among them. I am partial to roleplaying, however, as I feel it is the one element you cannot find in other gaming formats. In the TTRPG Rock, Paper, Scissors game that takes place in the deep and cloistered recesses of my mind: ROC > RAI > RAW. I am open to learning and trying new systems. I am a very easy-going and jocular sort, prone to tomfoolery betimes, but know full well when to wear the frowny mask versus the smiley one. A former teacher, I am very newbie friendly (to both players and GMs), and am gooder than most with the word use-ing for to tell things and show other things and for the explaining. Hi, I'm Patchwork. I'm a 20-something geek who enjoys spending his time on various TTRPGs. My previous group fell apart due to scheduling issues, as most do, so I'm here looking for something new! I'm mostly into the roleplaying aspect of tabletop games, I enjoy immersing myself in whatever character and world I'm put into, and bouncing off party hijinks! I usually put a lot of effort and a decent amount of writing into my characters and their backstories, but I usually do that as a creative writing exercise, and never expect a DM to know it front-to-back (I always put a summarization/TL;DR first). But if you do, all the better! In terms of systems and experience with VTTs, you can already see what systems I've looked into/played, and I've gamed a bunch in Roll20 and Foundry, so I'll have no issues navigating either of those VTTs. But if you have something new, I'm always willing to learn! As for the kind of games I'm looking for, I've been playing Fantasy for quite a long time now, and I'm hoping to get into some Sci-fi settings, and trying out systems in that niche. I've played for a total of about 1 1/2 years, with 2 oneshots, a short campaign, and am playing a long-term campaign that's recently passed its 1 year anniversary, which has gone from level 1 to currently level 11 and I've loved every minute of it. After learning about Groupfinder, I realize that I can actually learn more about the mechanics of the world and roleplaying. I'm open to any sort of setting, though I am most familiar with DnD 5th edition (either 2014 or 2024 versions) and would like to join a campaign with those mechanics. Been part of a Candela Obscura table for about 2 years every other Tuesday. Love that so much got a tattoo of it. Tried to branch out to roll 20 discord voice for a few months, got enjoyment out of it but i started to feel pressured to 'perform'. I also hated how an entire session could be filled up with just combat. While combat is fun, if it is number crunchy and too long it just feels like a waste of time. I'm a rp and lore junky. I loved the characters and story of my campaigns, did not care or know really how to make a super powerful and dps build. Which tells me while I prefer combat to be more rp prone. I'm a 34 year old mailman and husband and father, so time is very tight. I will post at least 5 posts a day. Depending on the workload and how high maintenance the family is, and if I find the pbp compelling, I might do a lot more. I hope so. That's why I ultimately ended up bowing out of the dnd. So my next stepping stone in my ttrpg journey is to find a pbp that posts normally that focuses on rp and story. While I appreciate the chaos and uncertainty of the dice it shouldn't be at the deterrent of player creativity, or fun, or rule of cool. But that's just me. I can learn any system or setting, I'm a smart dude. I value the people and the pc and the story over all. Also, I'm from Kansas. In the US. Normal sleep schedule. So CDT is where I'm at. That has been an issue before. I've never done paid pbp before but if the quality of the campaign, and set up, and pace is good enough I have no issue helping with a few dollars to the gm
