Code of Conduct

The Code of Conduct applies to all platform interactions.

1. Respectful Conduct

Users must treat others respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, threats, or abusive behavior are not permitted.

2. Fair Use

The platform must be used only for its intended purpose:
  • Creating player profiles
  • Posting specific tabletop game listings
  • Shared scheduling via Timefinder
Using the platform as a recruitment funnel for external communities, services, or ongoing membership pools is prohibited.

3. Anti-Spam Policy

Spamming users, mass messaging, or repeatedly contacting users after refusal is prohibited. If a user states that they are not interested in paid games, they must not be contacted with paid offers.

4. Intellectual Property Responsibility

Users must only post content they own or have permission to use. Users are assumed to have arranged all rights to any content prior to adding it to the platform. Plagiarism or unauthorized use of copyrighted materials is prohibited.

5. Accountability

Users are fully responsible for:
  • The legality of their content
  • The truthfulness of their claims
  • Ensuring they have rights to anything they publish
The platform does not actively pre-screen content.

6. Enforcement and Circumvention

Attempts to bypass restrictions, create alternate accounts after bans, or manipulate platform mechanics may result in permanent removal and technical blocking measures.

7. Enforcement

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in enforcement actions at the discretion of Groupfinder. Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, these actions may include:
  • warnings issued to the user
  • temporary restrictions on account functionality
  • suspension of the user account
  • permanent removal from the platform
Groupfinder reserves the right to take immediate action, including account suspension or removal, in cases of serious or repeated violations. Where necessary for the protection of the platform, its users, or partner communities, Groupfinder may also notify relevant third party platforms, service providers, or organizations of violations or enforcement actions related to misuse of the platform. Groupfinder may implement technical or administrative measures to prevent users from circumventing enforcement actions.
