Description

Weekly game looking for dedicated & involved player! When: Sunday 7 PM GMT+3 (Changing for European Daylight Savings Times) Duration: 4-5 hours Style of play: Artiya is a combat and roleplay heavy campaign, where people take their characters and the world seriously, with a heavy focus on plot, combat and character development as well as exploration and discovering the rich history and lore in its homebrew world of Artiya. At the moment the characters are level 14, and we have a slot open for another player to join. Currently in the party we have a paladin tank, two damage focused full casters, a healer, and an utility based artificer. Since the campaign is nearing its last third, the character needs to be able to work with the party and be a team player, have a reason for embarking in this epic adventure, and be able to handle in character conflict occasionally and realistic roleplay. The campaign is fully homebrewed using D&D 5e rules as a baseline - most people play custom classes, and the enemies are also custom made. If you do not like homebrew, big numbers, difficult combat, powerful abilities AND powerful enemies, this game is not for you. If you want to play something standard class & race-wise, items and other balancing will be done to accommodate it - all official WOTC content allowed. The combat is difficult and mechanically heavy, with an aim to feel like a Dark Souls combat where winning is hard earned but satisfying. Roleplaying is done both in session, and between sessions via text (pc to pc, pc to npc). Roleplaying is realistic - actions have consequences, decisions matter, and the world changes as you act within it; the world also moves on even if you do nothing. Artiya is alive. Beginners and experienced players are both very welcome! We use Discord for Voice and Roll20 for the Battlemaps. Main premise: Artiya is a world of might and magic, of history that spans eons, from the birth of the gods to present day. Its kingdoms have grown and flourished in peace...until now. The Dark Star’s invasion is in full force, its lieutenants spreading across the land, sowing chaos and discord, war and strife. The only thing truly standing between the Dark Star’s Void and the continued existence of Artiya is a band of heroes that have risen in power and influence, have gathered the help of the Gods and kingdoms, growing a force of resistance to face total oblivion. Will you be one of them? If interested please respond either here or message me on Discord at Zylithe.

I love homebrewing, complex stories where roleplay matters, and difficult rewarding combat. I like my players to be invested and involved in the world because I am just as invested in their characters and stories.

Gundam Missions

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Playtest
The game is still being tested, and your feedback is part of the point.
Gundam Missions is a cooperative tactical tabletop RPG for up to 5 players plus a Game Master (GM). It combines elements of tabletop RPGs, miniature wargames and tactical board games, with the focus placed on teamwork, objective-based missions and Mobile Suit combat rather than simply destroying every enemy on the battlefield. Each player takes the role of a pilot and controls their own Mobile Suit throughout the campaign. The GM runs the enemy forces, mission events, objectives and the wider campaign narrative. As the campaign progresses, players earn rewards, develop their pilots, customise their mission loadouts and gain access to new equipment and tactical options. Missions include scenarios such as Destroy, Escort, Sabotage, Capture and Rescue, alongside larger boss-style encounters. These are connected by light storytelling and an ongoing campaign narrative, eventually building towards a final confrontation with the campaign's recurring enemy commander — essentially the campaign's "Big Bad." The game is intentionally more of a tactical RPG than a traditional roleplay-heavy RPG. You won't need to spend hours acting in character or memorising Gundam lore. Most of your time will be spent making battlefield decisions with the rest of the party: choosing routes, managing resources, protecting allies, completing objectives and deciding when to fight, advance or fall back. Missions take place on a 48" × 72" battlefield using 2D terrain, objective markers and game tokens. Movement and weapon ranges are measured in inches, while combat uses dice rolls for attacks, defence and other effects. Mobile Suits have different movement, weapons, armour, equipment and battlefield roles, giving each player their own strengths while encouraging the group to work together as a proper squad. A major part of Gundam Missions is the use of physical 1/144 scale Gunpla models. Each player needs a 1/144 Mobile Suit model to represent their unit on the battlefield. You do not need to already own a Gunpla to play, as a suitable model can be provided. However, building and bringing your own kit is highly encouraged. Choosing, assembling and customising your own Mobile Suit is part of the RPG experience, and the idea is that you gradually develop a connection with the machine you take through the campaign. All other game materials — battlefield, terrain, tokens, objective pieces and supporting components — are provided. You also do not need to be a Gundam expert. Gundam fans will obviously recognise plenty of the machines and references, but previous knowledge of the anime or wider Universal Century timelines isn't required. If you enjoy tabletop RPGs, miniature wargames, tactical board games, Gunpla, or cooperative games and fancy trying something different, you should be able to pick the system up fairly quickly. The rules are designed to be approachable for new players while still offering enough tactical depth for experienced tabletop players. Individual missions are expected to last approximately 1–2 hours, with the first campaign currently planned to begin this autumn and sessions expected to run roughly every other week. Gundam Missions is a free-to-play, independent, fan-developed project and is still actively being playtested and refined. Rules, balance, missions and other systems may therefore change as development continues. While the project is in a playable state, players joining the first campaign won't just be playing the game — their feedback and experiences will also help shape and improve it as the project develops. If this idea excites you, you live locally and you're interested in joining the group, feel free to reach out!

Story Driven Cyberpunk Red/Homebrew Campaign

Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Hello!      (QUITE A WORDY DESCRIPTION BUT TOTALLY WORTH READING) I ran a 6 month DnD Campaign earlier this year and had such a good time with it that we're looking to do it all again in the near future, this time in a Cyberpunk/Dystopian setting :) Our last campaign was extremely narrative heavy and I imagine we will lean into that just as hard this next time. I am pretty relaxed about the rules and happy to bend things if it makes for a better moment. The main goal is to have a great time and create something that feels a bit more like a story experience than just a TTRPG. 5 players worked great last time and with 3 of the original group returning we’re looking for 2 or maybe 3 more at most. It’ll be another 6-month campaign, playing weekly on either Saturday or Sunday. Obviously, the occasional planned absence or emergency is completely fine, but everyone should realistically be able to make almost every session. I tend to tie the story quite closely to individual characters, so having people consistently there makes a big difference. I also like putting a bit of effort into the atmosphere (lighting, music, sound effects, set pieces, maps, etc). The last campaign even ended up involving a weekend away for an important part of the story and if all goes well we will totally do something like that again. Campaigns require a real commitment not only to the DM but also to the other players. I can safely say that despite none of us knowing each other before the 1st campaign we are all really good friends now and we hope to make more in the form of a couple new faces for this one! If you're interested, have questions, or just want to know a bit more about what we're planning, feel free to message me. Thanks for reading!
