Description

I want to run some Cairn 2e adventures, either as one-shots or strung together in a campaign. Searching for 3-5 players that would be interested in playing via discord voicechat either weekly or bi-weekly on saturdays or sundays. Sessions would be 2-3 hours long. Free to join, you do not have to pay! If you are interested, or have any questions, please reach out! -Knees Sidenote: Players should be 18+

Knees Knees

I'm Knees! I enjoy running games that are narrative driven, and focus on character growth, while also mixing in combat that is both challenging and rewarding. I enjoy a chill session where everyone treats each other with respect.

🌍🌍〰️〰️〰️ | Exploration ⚔️⚔️⚔️〰️〰️ | Combat 🎭🎭🎭〰️〰️ | Social RP & Drama 🧩〰️〰️〰️〰️ | Puzzles 😂😂😂〰️〰️ | Humor # When are we playing I'll host games on the 7th, 9th and 13th of November, starting at 2:30PM EST/7:30 PM UCT! # About the Campaign 🧑‍🏫 Learn the Game | 🎲 Sit and Play! | 😄 Have Fun! Marlowe Fairwind, the right-hand sorcerer of King Emeris, has gathered her most trusted allies to carry an important package to Hush, a small village within the ancient forest of Sablewood. The crate is large, heavy and sealed with magic, addressed to the Whitefire Arcanist. You’ve been given a map and a carriage, and the promise of reward upon your arrival. # What This Campaign Offers 🎓 Learn Daggerherat - A quick rundown of the mechanics, providing pre-made characters, complete with suggestions of links and background questions to help you immerse yourself. ⚖️ An All-round experience – Combat, exploration, roleplaying, social encounters and magical places. Get a taste of everything applied to the system of Daggerheart, and find out how it works for you! ✨ Whimsy - Although the campaign is short, the city of Hush and its inhabitants carry a certain whimsy and magic within them, making them fun personalities to engage with, so the session aims to be fun and light-hearted. ⏳ No Prep One Shot - You don't need to do any work; just show up to the game, and I'll teach all the rules and offer characters. Just sit down, learn the game, play a session and we're done! 🐣 Kid Friendly - Sablewood Messengers's only heavy themes are the inclusion of Undeads and Violence. The undeads can be easily re-skinned to something more friendly, and the combat can be quirky and silly if needed. Other than that, it's magic, fairies and songs! # In-Depth Campaign Structure Designed with beginners in mind, Sablewood Messengers is often called the Quickstart. It was released alongside Daggerheart as a free content to help players get into the game easily. It's a single session which includes explaining the game, going through two possible combats, and social encounters with a magical city and a quirky fairy grandma, with a lot of room for players and characters to interact and become closer throughout their travel. Characters are included in the module, and they have a suggestion of how they connect already included in their backgrounds, as well as questions prepared to help players strengthen these bonds. The game's rules are very simple, and can be explained within an hour. # Preparing For The Session You'll need accounts on Roll20 and Discord. No character creation needed! Characters will be provided at the start of the session! Payment and scheduling is done through [StartPlaying.Games](http://StartPlaying.Games) # About Me! Hey there! I'm Erick, and I have been a regular RPG player since 2015, but I've been involved in the world of RPGs and have been a fan since I was a little kid, when my brother used to GM for me. I'm a big fan of game design in general; so I also enjoy creating content and tweaking the rules as needed. I've played a few other systems, but D&D 5th Edition is my favorite by far. RPGs are my favorite hobby, and I believe they have immense narrative, rational and therapeutic value. I am happy to teach newcomers and engage with veterans alike. Although I embrace heavy themes and take the narrative itself seriously within the game, our communion as writers and players is something very light and comfortable for me. We'll use battlemaps for all scenes that include a scuffle, and mostly use theater of the mind for the rest of the scenes; although I do share the images that I use as reference for locations, when there are any. We'll use music to set the vibe as we play, as well as some sound effects, all integrated within Roll20. I got a firm grasp of the rules, and I am lax with them, trying to create a flow on scenes, without losing balance. Preparing to play on the 7th, 9th and 13th of November, depending on your preference! UNBOUND Playtest

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Playtest
The game is still being tested, and your feedback is part of the point.
LOOKING FOR 3–5 PLAYERS — IN-PERSON TTRPG PLAYTEST Location: Millbrook / Prattville / Wetumpka, with the Montgomery area also an option Format: In-person tabletop RPG Genre: Fantasy adventure Experience: None required — new and experienced players welcome Character Creation: Required as part of the playtest. You'll be building your own character rather than having me build one for you. I'll be available to answer rules questions, but I specifically want to see how well a new player can navigate character creation on their own. Schedule: Flexible evenings or weekends System: UNBOUND, a custom TTRPG system I'm developing I'm looking for 3–5 players to help playtest UNBOUND, an anti-essentialist, leveled point-buy TTRPG built around one idea: Build the character you actually want to play, instead of choosing a class and being told what that character is supposed to be. UNBOUND doesn't lock you into traditional class archetypes. You build your character through Build Points, Perks, Limitations, and attributes, allowing you to develop in whatever direction fits your concept. Combat is dynamic, using Active Defenses, contested rolls, and armor as a percentage-based damage reduction system. Magic is intentionally flexible, and healing isn't restricted to one dedicated “healbot” class. The goal of the playtest is to actually put these ideas through their paces at a real table — see what works, find what doesn't, and have some fun while we're doing it. No prior experience with TTRPGs is necessary. You don't need to know any systems going in; character creation is part of the playtest, and I'll walk everyone through it. The Player's Guide, GM's Guide, and Martial Arts Handbook are already available on the UNBOUND Discord. Send me a message and I'll give you an invite so you can look them over before deciding whether you'd like to play. Interested? Message me. Even if you're curious but not sure yet, feel free to reach out and ask questions.
