D&D 5e 2024 Level 20 Combat West Marches

The world of Phelun is an old one that has seen many conflicts throughout its history. While times seem peaceful, beneath the surface there are whisperings of the Dragon Queen stirring within her prison, strange events occurring upon the continent of Ines, and adventure awaiting upon the lost continent of Asoris. It currently features the following:     PbP forums for those who prefer slower RPs.     Living world channels where characters can explore the lands or meet one another in real time in the pub.     DM run Tables. Howdy all! I'm dipping my toes into paid DMing by running a live text game of Way of the Wicked--a D&D5e conversion of the Pathfinder module where the party gets to play as the bad guys for a change! For those unfamiliar, the first book of Way of the Wicked entails our villainous party escaping from an infamous prison, joining a cult, then destroying the last bastion holding back an invading force of bugbears, taking them from levels 1 to 5. Depending on how the group feels, I may continue the game after level 5 as there are additional books that take the campaign up to level 20. This is a LIVE TEXT game! That means that players will all be available at the set session time every week for 3-4 hour sessions but all in-character narration and out-of-character communication is done via text through Discord. We'll also be using Foundry VTT for rolls and combat/battle maps. You will need a computer in order to use Foundry, it does not work well on mobile. You do not have to make an account or anything to use Foundry, it runs in your browser. This is a PAID game! I am charging $15 per player per session and I anticipate this campaign to take at least five sessions but given the slightly slower pace of live text compared to voiced sessions, it may run up to eight or more. We will play at 3 PM Mountain Time every Saturday and Session 0 will be free. This is my first time running a paid game and the first time using StartPlaying so if the price point or the time slot doesn't work for you, please shoot me a message on Discord to let me know what would work for you and I may be able to adjust the time/price depending on the responses I get as I've got a little bit of wiggle room. About Me I've been playing in and GMing TTRPGs for about eight years now, almost entirely in live text and asynchronous pbp games as I feel I'm a much better writer than I am an orator. I enjoy text games as I feel I can deliver a more complete picture of locations, scenarios, and characters, including the details that might go unnoticed in a standard voiced game. I also will use pictures as visual references where applicable. Most if not all of the images come from the book, they are not AI generated. I have run this module before via play by post so I am very familiar with the source material and can provide a quality experience that is hopefully worth paying for. Interested in playing?
