Description

The Pitch: We’re a long-running group of 5 friends (4+ years together) wrapping a 3-year campaign and spinning up a new one in a custom Fantasy Ancient Greco-Roman world. Think Mount & Blade vibes: player-driven, factional politics, contracts, sieges, and hard choices—balanced with character-rich roleplay. You’ll help found a mercenary company, choose patrons and enemies, and shape the map and fates. The game will be quite deadly and players are unable to be magic users. System is Mythic D100 (no prior experience needed if you learn fast). We prize proactive players who can roleplay confidently, work as a team, and roll with the punches—then laugh about it after. Quick Facts: System: Mythic D100 (homebrew setting, homebrew cultures/races) Style: Player-driven sandbox; combat-forward and RP-heavy Party Size: 5 existing players + recruiting 1 (total 6) Schedule: Due to player Scheduling being tricky, We have a complex schedule of running 3 x Thursday evenings, followed by 2 x Tuesday evenings, and then either skipping a week or finding an off-day to play, 6pm UK / 7pm CET, 4–6 hours Cadence: Weekly; Starts Wednesady 14th January 2026. No weekends: Sat/Sun unavailable Format: Voice on Discord (mic required); Roll20 Group: Mixed British/French/American; dark humor welcome, mature boundaries, table safety respected What You’re Signing Up For: Player-led goals: Choose contracts and allegiances; your decisions drive the war map. Tactical combat: Phalanxes, skirmishes, sieges, naval actions, monster hunts. Political play: Oaths, favors, betrayals, patronage, and city-state intrigue. Meaningful loss/impact: Scars, promotions, rivalries; the world reacts. Characterful RP: We love in-character scenes, downtime ambitions, and social maneuvering. What We Expect (Non-Negotiables): Reliable weekday availability (you can try to push which day works for you; we often land on Thursday due to player scheduling, but tends to change days each week). Solid mic and stable connection. Team player who contributes, listens, and keeps table vibes positive. Comfort with both combat and RP. Open mind for mature themes handled respectfully (war, politics, moral gray). Learn-the-system attitude if new to Mythic D100. If you can only do 1–2 fixed evenings a week, you’ll likely miss sessions. We need flexible weekday availability. Bonus points for those who try to voice-act. (The rest of us try). Activity in the group discord. (We want players who are able to communicate throughout the week on scheduling and to socialise a bit.) Onboarding & Vetting: We’ve had mixed recruitment experiences. To protect your time and ours, we’ll: Chat on Discord, figure out if we are right for one another, and if we’re oversubscribed, run a short one-shot tryout to confirm fit (table culture > raw mechanics). Tech & Content Voice: Discord; cameras optional Tools: Roll20 + theatre-of-the-mind as fits the scene (we’ll brief you) Mature Themes: The campaign will likely touch on topics that were present through history. That being said as the DM I have no interest in pushing awful things into the faces of players, though if players pursue topics I will not shy away from them. Common sense applies generally. Setting: Homebrew Greco-Roman era fantasy, based on history but far from reality. A new world with new lands and factions. Expect oaths, honor, patronage, and gritty logistics with mythic edges. Why You Might Love This: You enjoy agency and consequence-heavy choices. You enjoy deep, gritty tales of heroism and woe, exciting adventures and epic battles. You like a company-level identity (banners, discipline, logistics) and personal arcs. You want a long-term table with adults who show up prepared and in good spirits, with good humour and respect for one another. Still Interested? Then please send me a DM with your discord information and we will discuss further to find if there if we are a good fit for one another. Unfortunately we won't be able to take everyone but I will do my best to not waste anyone's time.

Tales of Valeria

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
2hr sessions every Friday 9pm UK / 10pm France / 4pm East Coast US. (Make no mistake, we pack a lot into the short run time and get straight down to business at game time). This is an invitation to join an established group of 3 players who take turns with the GM role. We are currently playing Pathfinder 1E but we have played other systems, and possibly will play more in the future. Right now, you'd be jumping into an adventure at level 6 tracking down a missing wizard in an abandoned part of the city. In this campaign story is the main driver, not combat, although both aspects are represented. I want to know what you hope to get out of the game. What are your favourite parts of playing?

Combat focused

Short Story Long ago, the land was consumed by war. Cities fell, countless lives were lost, and fear spread as the Avatar, a malevolent force, unleashed demons and monsters across the realm. In time, a band of heroes from distant lands, joined by champions of the realm itself, rose to face the darkness. Through their courage and sacrifice, the Avatar was finally defeated, and peace was restored. Yet not all wounds healed so easily. During the war, one of the dwarven clans, driven by greed and manipulated by the Avatar’s influence, sided with the forces of darkness. Though the evil was defeated, the stain of that betrayal remained. Trust in the dwarves was broken, and many races and rival clans never truly forgave them. Now, in the city of Amber Trees, also known as Amber City, a new chapter begins. To rebuild their honor and restore faith in their people, the dwarves have founded an adventurers’ guild, offering brave souls the chance to take on dangerous missions, defend the realm, and shape its future. Our adventurers arrive in Amber City in search of glory, fortune, and purpose. By taking up the guild’s call, they will not only forge their own legends, but also help the dwarves reclaim the trust they lost and prove that redemption can be earned through courage, loyalty, and deeds. After some time the dwarven guilds regained some of their reputation back with the help of some powerful heroes. They are now sending caravans to the elven and human territories guarded by the new adventurers and you are one of them. ↠Amount of Players recommended for session: 3 or 4 players ↠Type of Campaign: Campaign with westmarch style+ Homebrew setting ↠Game System: 5e 2014 + UA with homebrew rules where we dont have any rules in the books ↠Game Style: more on Combat and less on Roleplay ↠Voice Chat: Required, we will use discord ↠Difficulty of Campaign: easy ↠Experience Level: - Any, everyone is welcome ↠Starting Level: Players will make lvl 1 characters with point buy and do one-shots westmarch style low lvl quests with other random players that are online at the same time as them until they form a stable party to go after the high lvl campaign quests. ↠General Overview of Campaign: After a big war that included many races one of them lost its trust . The party has departed from Brackenward with their dragon companion, Whisper, carrying precious cargo and seeking to investigate the legitimacy of 1 of 4 companies with potential ties to the Carrion Company.  Along the road they were confronted by the leader of the Carrion Company, one of the party volunteered as sacrifice to turn double agent.  What lies ahead as the party is split? The party is looking for 1 more adventurer to bring them from the Fab Four back to the Fab Five. I will run a one on one session Zero with anyone interested! Dark Frontier Fantasy | Tactical Roleplay | Political Intrigue | Living World Campaign | Growing Items Starting at level 1 going all the way to 20! Azural remembers everything. In the foothills of the Drenthars, most names are forgotten, most contracts are written in dust, and only Azural itself bothers to keep score. You start in the fading frontier town of Arazar, just mere faces in the crowd, taking whatever work will keep you fed. • Escorting short caravans that never make the stories. • Settling petty border quarrels. • Finding the missing, no one can afford to mourn. • Looking the other way on smuggling runs. • Digging up graves for coins that barely shine. Small jobs for small people. Until Azural begins to change around you—and the first whispers of a divine crime start to echo from the shadows. Will you silence those whispers, or turn them into the cry that rights a long‑forgotten wrong? StartPlaying Game Link StartPlaying GM Profile
