Description

[Online] [Other][Palladium] [Ninjas and Super Spies][11 AM GMT] looking for GM Plot: In the year 1994, in a world that outwardly looks just like our world did at that time. An extra dimensional organization is attempting to influence and control leadership people from all over the world. These leaders include people from mega corporations and even mayors, governors and possibly someone in The House of Lords. Very very few people have knowledge or would even believe that an alien organization is present and to most people this notion is laughable. There is one small organization that is aware and will fight against this threat. Important NPC: Colonel Jacobs has served Belgium and NATO for decades as an affective intelligence officer. For the last couple decades he has been aware that the children and grandchildren of Vril Society and numerous witchcraft cults have been communicating with an other-worldly organization called the Brevrun. Jacobs believes this the Brevrun is intent on enslaving the human race. Twice, Jacobs has used his considerable influence to create a team to investigate and even combat the Brevrun, but the teams abruptly disappeared. Jacobs still has enough influence to create and finance one last team. He is now far too old to lead such a team, and very much needs this new team to have some measurable success. Notes: Heroes: 3 to 4 players. The characters will be similar to characters like James Bond, Bruce Lee, Chuck Norse, and Macgyver. The game year is because that is the time period the game is balanced for. The GM might change that year. The plot is likely to change when a GM is found. The main purpose of the above plot is to answer the question “What type of game are you looking for”. We have found 4 GMs that have been very excited about starting this, but each time so far, something happens that affects availability. All the players that have shown interest love the paranormal twist added to N&SS.

West Marches / Living World
One world and a big pool of players, but no fixed party - whoever signs up that week is who plays.
Combat focused
Fights, tactics and initiative take up most of the table time.
Short Story Long ago, the land was consumed by war. Cities fell, countless lives were lost, and fear spread as the Avatar, a malevolent force, unleashed demons and monsters across the realm. In time, a band of heroes from distant lands, joined by champions of the realm itself, rose to face the darkness. Through their courage and sacrifice, the Avatar was finally defeated, and peace was restored. Yet not all wounds healed so easily. During the war, one of the dwarven clans, driven by greed and manipulated by the Avatar’s influence, sided with the forces of darkness. Though the evil was defeated, the stain of that betrayal remained. Trust in the dwarves was broken, and many races and rival clans never truly forgave them. Now, in the city of Amber Trees, also known as Amber City, a new chapter begins. To rebuild their honor and restore faith in their people, the dwarves have founded an adventurers’ guild, offering brave souls the chance to take on dangerous missions, defend the realm, and shape its future. Our adventurers arrive in Amber City in search of glory, fortune, and purpose. By taking up the guild’s call, they will not only forge their own legends, but also help the dwarves reclaim the trust they lost and prove that redemption can be earned through courage, loyalty, and deeds. After some time the dwarven guilds regained some of their reputation back with the help of some powerful heroes. They are now sending caravans to the elven and human territories guarded by the new adventurers and you are one of them. ↠Amount of Players recommended for session: 3 or 4 players ↠Type of Campaign: Campaign with westmarch style+ Homebrew setting ↠Game System: 5e 2014 + UA with homebrew rules where we dont have any rules in the books ↠Game Style: more on Combat and less on Roleplay ↠Voice Chat: Required, we will use discord ↠Difficulty of Campaign: easy ↠Experience Level: - Any, everyone is welcome ↠Starting Level: Players will make lvl 1 characters with point buy and do one-shots westmarch style low lvl quests with other random players that are online at the same time as them until they form a stable party to go after the high lvl campaign quests. ↠General Overview of Campaign: After a big war that included many races one of them lost its trust . Startplaying.games link This campaign takes on average 9 sessions $15 per session - Full conversion from 3.5 to 5.5 done by me. --- Whilst Vlaakith consolidates power on Tu'Narath, a sect of Gith seek to overthrow her and end her undeath - they just need your help. --- Whether you favour peaceful talks or outright war, sometimes a knife in the dark is all that's needed. Remember: nothing unites the people quite like a politically motivated assassination. Overthrowing an immortal tyrant is hard from the inside, that's where you come in. Navigate Vlaakith's lair, find her phylactery and end her undeath! You may (or may not) have played Baldur's Gate 3, and you may (or may not) know who Vlaakith CLVII is. But you definitely don't know about the coup. Vlaakith has ruled the Githyanki for over a thousand years. A lich of legendary power, she maintains her reign through fear, hatred and an iron fist. Centuries of undeath have only deepened her paranoia. Her latest scheme is enough to draw concern from the Sha'sal Khou: The creation of Duthka'Gith, terrifying hybrids born from the fusion of Githyanki and dragon through foul magic. Enter the Sha'sal Khou, a clandestine movement of Githyanki and Githzerai seeking to reunite their people under a single leader and a common purpose. They believe Vlaakith must be stopped — permanently. They need your help killing Vlaakith. --- Character creation Creating your character Character creation can happen in many ways: 📋 During Session 0 we can build a character together whilst we talk. 🐉 If you have a DNDBeyond sheet we can import it into the system. 📝 If you have a paper sheet I will re-create the character for you. 💪 Characters will be level 15 - Point Buy or Standard Array. 📕 Species and Subclasses from these books are permitted: PHB, MPMM, FTD, TCE, XGE, GotG, BMT ⚡ Spells from all books (barring Strixhaven) are permitted What to expect Preparing for the session 💻 A laptop or computer with a resolution of 1366x768 or higher is recommended to ease of playing.* 🔊 Discord 🎙️ A microphone 🕴️ A character idea or concept 📒 (Optional) Something to take notes on 📹 (Optional) A webcam 📱Mobile will have issues using the VTT Software What Matthew (ItsScottish) brings to the table I will bring the server that the game will be hosted on firstly. The maps were from the book to fit perfectly whilst playing & the atmosphere has been set to build the story. 📹 Webcams are NOT necessary though I will have mine on during session 🔉 Voices are not required though I will use them myself. Homebrew rules Deus Ex Machina Death hurts us all, rage or sadness pick your poison. That being said, sometimes the war continues. As your friends grieve your loss - your God may reject your soul. - Every character gets 1 - If you die in a long drawn out battle and get fully expended, by same grace of God, you are brought back to fight a final fight. --- Safety How Matthew (ItsScottish) creates a safe table 📃 Before Session 0 I will send you a Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist. In this I will tick the things I have OK'd in the game (Both Module and Player Content). ❌ During Session 0 I will go over my lines with you. I will let you know where I stand with things and what I have omitted from the module (if anything). We can also discuss your Consent Form incase similarities arise, an example being "You are not OK with Spiders but are you OK with Scorpions?". As well as that we can create your character (if you do not have one already) 🔁 In the time between S0 and S1 I will remove the tokens of specific creatures and alter the adventure as needed. 🚶During the session you are free to break off for your own reasons - let me know as you do and I will move you along with the party. 🗣️ At the end of all my games I oft sit and talk with my players for a bit. As soon as the game ends the line between DM and player dissolves and I like to make that obvious.

Karrax - A Fantasy Homebrew Campaign

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
Platforms: Roll20, Discord for voice chat Starting level 3. Point Buy, Milestone leveling. Players needed: Additional 3-4 players, currently have 1. Beginner friendly, so no prior experience required. Flexible on dates/ times, but should be open to play between 14:00 - 23:00 (GMT+0). Sessions will aim to be around 2/3 hours, but this can be adjusted should the group desire. Can be weekly or bi-weekly, exact slot to be agreed with the group in advance. The campaign takes place within a fantasy setting. Roleplay, combat, and exploration will all be incorporated equally throughout the campaign, but this can vary based off the nature of the session.  All official races and classes (except artificer/ psion) are allowed. Brief story blurb; The realm of Karrax once thrived under the reign of Kranatov Salazar, an ancient dragon who ruled for millenia. One day he turned, and the brutal war that ensued scorched the land, ultimately resulting in him being sealed away after a climactic battle. Explore the realm, discover the scars of the past, and unravel the mysteries surrounding the war. Looking for: Players who want to engage with the plot, NPC's, and roleplays. Should be able to show up consistently and be fine with slower-burn mysteries rather than pure dungeon crawling.  If your new to the format or DnD in general that is completely fine as long as you fit the other criteria :) If your interested drop a comment/ DM and i'll be more than happy to send over some more of the lore + world map so you can get a better feel for the campaign, followed by a rough character creation guide (nothing too strict, mainly just making sure it fits the tone/ setting). Once everyones set we can run a session 0 to establish expecations and actually meet eachother before anything's played out. From there we can do some quick one-to-one sessions establishing your character's own backstory and place in the world. Thanks for reading!
