Description

It's October 13th, 1999 and the world has ended.  Someone, no one is sure who, let something into our world.  A kind of infection or corruption that affects both the body and the mind.  Animals, people, even mundane objects... became twisted and unnatural.  Some speculate it's a kind of demonic possession, others that it's an alien or even transdimensional biological weapon.  In the end, it doesn't matter.  The whole world fell apart, twisted from within. The survivors cling to their wretched lives in a fallen world, trying to comprehend the horrors and fend them off for just one more day.  The world is in tatters, monsters roam around consuming everything they can, occult powers and magic have returned, and even the very air seems tainted. Perhaps the rapture happened and the survivors are being punished because they were found wanting.  Perhaps this is some kind of strange terrorist attack from another world.  Or maybe it's all nothing more than a cosmic accident, a tragedy of happenstance as something never intended for this world found its way in. DETAILS Online, AD&D 1e/homebrew campaign with the developer of AD&D Toolkit.  Can be either Tuesday or Wednesday nights 6:45pm - 9:45pm EST.  Or Saturday 9:30am - 12:30pm EST. REQUIREMENTS - Discord and working mic - Roll20: https://roll20.net/ - AD&D Toolkit: https://adndtoolkit.com/ - $10/player/session DESCRIPTION Karmont is a small, frontier kingdom nestled among a series of mountain ranges near the coast of a largely unexplored continent.  The namesake capitol is cradled in the tallest peaks, far to the north.  Beyond the mountains are desolate lands, ruled by all matter of foul creatures.  Tantalized by the hopeful promise of treasure hordes and riches uncounted, adventurous types have been settling the coastal side of the mountains for decades now and continue to push northward. Kobolds, Goblins, and ill-mannered creatures of all sorts continually raid what cities have taken root in the fledgling kingdom.  Their ultimate aim is to drive all good peoples south, into the ocean from whence they came.  Thus the King has vowed to eventually press his forces beyond the mountains, to bring the fight to the enemy and put a permanent halt to their machinations and all of the resulting incursions.  Will you find treasure and glory in this wild, hinterlands?  Will you be able to stamp your mark as a hero of Karmont? A Tale of Horror—The Old Doll Levels 4 - 6

Paid game
The Game Master charges a fee to run the game.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
You are a couple of seasoned travelers about to be dragged into something a lot more than you bargained for. This is a tale of emotion, terror, and tragedy; but also one of heroism, something the people of Neverwinter desperately need as they struggle against a serial killer. This short adventure goes from levels 4 - 6 for a party of 3 – 5 players. The game is designed to run anywhere between 4 – 8 sessions and focuses on mystery, horror, a decent amount of combat, and thrilling and dramatic roleplay! Session 0 is free, and we focus on expectations there, so everyone knows what they’re getting into.  Further Details and how to join here: https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmuss8jfq01dkl9043evcktv7?ref=cl364he035phabopk9zps3nif I have a few other games listed on my profile if this doesn't work; you can check that, and more information about me and my style here: https://startplaying.games/gm/627fe21745eac1ca56eb8f72

Horror
The game leans into fear, tension and dark themes.
Getting a group back together who have not played for a while due mostly to university impacts. The games will be Cthulhu 7e and Classic Delta Green (maybe even Cthulhu dark Ages).  Looking for one or two more players to round things out. The GM is super experienced and creates a very suspenseful and immersive experience. The hard bit is the location - Newberg Oregon so a bit of a drive from PDX unless you are in Beaverton or Tigard. This could be Friday nights or Saturday nights depending on mutual sceduling, and with busy work lives twice a month max. Reach out for more info.  Important note (if this matters to you) we are a wide range of ages from 30s to 50s and we dont care about that - but you might!
