Kobolds, Goblins, and ill-mannered creatures of all sorts continually raid what cities have taken root in the fledgling kingdom.  Their ultimate aim is to drive all good peoples south, into the ocean from whence they came.  Thus the King has vowed to eventually press his forces beyond the mountains, to bring the fight to the enemy and put a permanent halt to their machinations and all of the resulting incursions.  Will you find treasure and glory in this wild, hinterlands?  Will you be able to stamp your mark as a hero of Karmont? You are a couple of seasoned travelers about to be dragged into something a lot more than you bargained for.
