**Welcome, Adventurers!** We’re recruiting players for an **online Shadowdark open table exploring The Caverns of Thracia**, one of the hobby’s most celebrated megadungeons. Our group includes longtime players and complete newcomers, and we’d love to welcome a few more of both. **Why an open table?** Our original five-player campaign ran into the BBEG of modern tabletop: scheduling. Between jobs, partners, and families, getting everyone together became its own epic quest. An open table means **you sign up for the sessions that work for you, with no expectation of attending every game.** The party may change, but everyone contributes to the same ongoing campaign. **The adventure** Our version of Thracia lies beneath an abandoned structure in the Drake Peaks, in the Northerlands of Shadowdark’s Western Reaches. Something within these vast caverns has been raiding villages throughout the Isles of Andrik. You’ve answered the call to discover what’s behind the attacks and will venture into the depths to stop them. Each session is a single expedition, **beginning and ending in town**. Between delves, players share discoveries through a communal map and tavern board. A warning left by one party might save the next; an unexplored passage might become another group’s destination. Together, we’ll uncover the dungeon’s secrets. **When we play** I run **two sessions a month**: one weekday evening and one weekend daytime session. Times vary to accommodate players across US time zones, from Eastern to Pacific. **Who we’re looking for** We’re an adult group balancing gaming with jobs, relationships, families, and everything else life throws at us. We’re looking for fellow adults who appreciate that balance and want to make room for a good adventure when schedules allow. Some of us have played D&D in one form or another for decades; others are getting their feet wet. **No Shadowdark experience is necessary.** Questions are welcome, and patience and respect are expected. We have a simple no-jerks policy. **Interested?** Message me here! I have two short YouTube videos. One is an overview of the campaign, and the other introduces the adventure hook. I'm happy to share both if you're interested.
