A conspiracy is stirring: livestock have been slaughtered, trade caravans are being looted, and strange alchemical discoveries are attracting the attention of merchants, mages, clergy, and nobles alike. What begins as a humble task in the countryside will draw a group of aspiring adventurers into a dispute over wealth, faith, knowledge, and authority. As factions squabble to claim a valuable discovery, a new set of heroes gets to make their name by deciding who deserves control; but only if they can get through the conspirators' defenses and escape alive. Session length: 3-4 hours Minimum game knowledge: Beginner Starting level: 1, with a level up usually happening after every session Required platforms: Discord Voice, Owlbear Rodeo Restrictions: Characters should be a type of Human, Dwarf, Elf, or Halfling. Content warning: May include blood, harm to animals, rodents, and/or real-world religion depending on player approval. Other notes: This will be a mini-campaign, planned to be only 5 sessions long.
