Description

The parchment is pinned to the tavern's bounty board with a rusted dagger. It reads: “WANTED: Brave souls to venture into the unknown. Gold and glory await those with the grit to survive. Meet at the hearth if you dare to test your steel...'" Hi Denver! I’ve been a Highlands (NW Denver) resident for over 20 years and I’m looking to find a few fellow adventurers (parent/kid combos) to join my 12-year-old son and me for a bi-weekly D&D quest. The Quest We will be starting with new Level 1 characters with the intent to take them all the way through advanced levels. We’ll be running Tales from the Yawning Portal: essentially the "Greatest Hits" of D&D history. The Table Rules: Support for Beginners: If you've never played, don’t worry. We just ask that the kids can handle basic math, some writing, and most importantly, take the gameplay seriously.  The "Vibe": Expect classic D&D action: visceral combat (think: "The blade slices through the creature's neck..."), story narrative and a "PG-13" atmosphere. In our household, we allow the occasional "shit," but no F-bombs. Obviously, we will modulate as the new group gels. I'm pretty relaxed about stuff, but do want to set the stage. I’ll be the DM I am an experienced DM, but it’s been 30 years since I've done it and the game has changed, so I’ll be learning a bit. For me, it’s about the fun rather than precision (no rule nazis, please), but I do like to lean on dice so that I’m not a dictator for ever decision. Also, I’m not against killing off characters. (It’s not fun, if there is no risk.) If that happens, you’ll start with a new one. I’m also going to experiment with adding AI and multimedia to the game play. Logistics: Schedule: Thinking alternating Sundays (4–8 PM) or Fridays (5–9 PM). The "Life Happens" Rule: If you can’t make it, someone will pilot your character so the party stays whole. We also may have to reschedule/cancel sometimes due to my work travel schedule. Hosting: I’ll host at my home in the Highlands, but our first meeting when we make characters could be at a public location. I’ll provide a healthy dinner initially (I can handle special diets), then I’ll ask the players to help once we’ve gotten into a routine. If you’re ready to answer the call, we would love to know about you and why you want to play. (And by “we”, I mean my terribly decerning son. I’ll let any dreg in.)

Hey I am R, anyways, I am looking for a dm and possible 2 players, we don't mind homebrew stuff as long as its not super op, we will probably use dnd beyond for the sessions so if anyone has access to books on there that would be lovely, its not a requirement by anymeans. The requirements are that, you must be able to speak coherent English, be patient with some people(like me), and be respectful of people's opinions.

The mists hide a world plundged into darkness for centuries. A dark lord has control of this cursed land. Those who are strong can escape the mists. Hello all, I am Michael.  I am starting a new campaign playing within the world of Ravenloft. This a gothic horror story that is traumatic and a fun time. This is a roleplay heavy campaign with intense combat encounters and plenty of chances for exploration. This is my third time running the campaign and I am excited to see what a new group of adventurers will make of this land.  This is good campaign to start your D&D journey as it starts at low levels and you learn as we play. So if you enjoy a fun and scary time at the virtual table then this is the game for you. Gothic Horror, High Fantasy, and Eldritch Horrors Level 1-10, with possibilities of higher levels depending on the game Go from ragtag adventurers. Unravel villain motivations, fend off living and undead threats that haunt the land, and confront one of the most famous villains. Strahd Von Zarovich. This campaign uses the best of the plot lines of Curse of Strahd: Reloded rounded out with additional materials, and characters backstories. To join this campaign, or if you're looking for other long-term adventures for D&D 5e campaigns to have a good time in. Looking for adventurers! Have you always wanted to try D&D but never had the chance? Or are you a seasoned adventurer looking for a relaxed, story-focused table? I’m looking for players to join me for Lost Mine of Phandelver, a classic D&D 5e adventure filled with exploration, roleplay, dungeon delving, and plenty of opportunities for your characters to become the heroes of the story. 🎲 About the Game * System: D&D 5e * Adventure: Lost Mine of Phandelver * Experience Level: Beginners absolutely welcome! * Table: 18+ * GM Experience: 2 years * Style: Rule of Cool > Rules As Written * Tone: Adventure, exploration, roleplay, comedy, and classic fantasy * LGBTQ+ Friendly: 🏳️‍🌈 Everyone is welcome at my table I’m a relatively laid-back GM who cares more about everyone having a great time than stopping the game every five minutes to consult a rulebook. If something makes sense for the story and doesn’t completely break the game, I’m usually willing to roll with it. Creativity is encouraged. If you have an idea that isn’t explicitly covered by the rules, tell me what you’re trying to do and we’ll figure it out together. 🌟 New Players Welcome Never played D&D before? That’s completely fine. I’ll help you learn the basics as we play, explain rules when they come up, and give you room to learn without feeling like you’re being tested. You don’t need to know what every action, bonus action, reaction, spell slot, or mysterious collection of numbers on your character sheet means before we start.
