Description

Shadows of Unity is an ongoing Starfinder 1e political rebellion campaign in a homebrew setting: think Star Wars rebellion with Warhammer-style brutalism. We're 25+ sessions in, the party is level 5, and I'm looking for one new player to bring the table back to six. THE SETTING Helium Prime, a mining and industrial world, was conquered thirteen months ago by the Aurixian Union, an authoritarian empire policed by the Arbitrators. The capital has been renamed, the history painted over, and unlicensed mystics and technomancers are treated as traitors. You play operatives of Cell H-R2, "the Warren": the most effective rebel cell on the planet, and the one the Union most wants to find. HOW THE GAME RUNS
  • Mission-based: the cell votes on its next job from a mission board (sabotage, intel, extraction, support)
  • Every op is ranked from C to S. Stealth, planning and keeping civilians alive count as much as combat
  • Clever solutions beat brute force, and the current table plays that way
  • The empire is Russian-flavoured, with music and propaganda to match
  • Each PC gets a personal arc mission built from their backstory
  • Milestone levelling. You join at level 5 and the campaign caps at level 10
LOGISTICS
  • Sundays, 20:00 CET (19:00 UTC / 2pm EST), about [X] hours
  • Discord voice + Foundry VTT (runs in your browser, nothing to install)
  • You'll need a working mic
ABOUT ME I'm an 18-year-old GM from Spain. This is my first campaign as GM and it's been running for 25+ sessions. I put a lot of work into the world's lore and build custom tools for the table. CONTENT Themes include authoritarian oppression, war, violence and some dread.  WHO I'M LOOKING FOR A player who enjoys planning, stealth and roleplay as much as combat, and who can commit to a weekly game. Newcomers to Starfinder are welcome; I'll help with the rules and your build.

2hr sessions every Friday 9pm UK / 10pm France / 4pm East Coast US. (Make no mistake, we pack a lot into the short run time and get straight down to business at game time). This is an invitation to join an established group of 3 players who take turns with the GM role. We are currently playing Pathfinder 1E but we have played other systems, and possibly will play more in the future. Right now, you'd be jumping into an adventure at level 6 tracking down a missing wizard in an abandoned part of the city. In this campaign story is the main driver, not combat, although both aspects are represented. I want to know what you hope to get out of the game. What are your favourite parts of playing?

Hello there and thanks for taking the time to view this post!  We recently lost a couple of players and I'm looking to fill those spaces with like-minded players . I'm an aging DM who played a lot of systems back in the 90s like 2nd edition AD&D, Dangerous Journeys and Vampire. I've been back into 5th edition in the last 5 years. I love to write stories using my player's backgrounds as my muse.  No, I'm not the best DM but I promise you a good story, and good people. Who are we? * Mature group (30+) * We like RP and shenanigans * We offer a safe and welcoming environment * We are not power-gamers * We run 2 hour sessions every two weeks (though this may change if enough people agree) * We are not rule-bashers. We have all been DM's and support each others Who are you? * Mature and respectful * 21+ * Can do long term campaign * Has a PC and a decent internet connection * Someone that knows that vibe is more important than experience AI DISCLAIMER I have a full-time job and a family so I don't get a lot of time to write. I use a local AI LLM to perform mundane tasks (create a session recap from bulletpoints etc) and I also use Claude to spitball ideas. I do not use AI to generate art and I never used it to generate maps The story, NPC's and all creative decisions are my own and I love fusing the lore of the world with the backstory of my players. If you have any issues with AI (and I totally respect that), this is not the game for you. Campaign Here's a little about the campaign but there will be MUCH more info in the session 0. Of Gears and Gods is a homebrew D&D 5e campaign set in Eberron. Its first chapter, set in the quaint, port town of Moonwatch, is now complete. A band of strangers, brought together by a mysterious device called the Nexus, has survived drug-running gangs, a plot to turn the town's population against the warforged and a cursed crisis that almost turned the citizens into an undead horde. The next chapter is ready, and we’re looking for new players to step in, building characters with us who will shape what comes next. Huzzah!

Greek-myth campaign for Daggerheart

Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
"Five years ago, a thousand ships answered Agamemnon's call and departed Greece to bring about Ilium's ruin. The greatest heroes, the mightiest weapons, and the most mythical stories are somewhere else.  You are among who remains.  I am Homer, and I will sing of you, amongst Other Names." Set in a fabled Age of Rhapsody — paying homage to the Bronze Age, Greek tragedy and comedy, and classical myth — Echoes of Fate is a homebrew Campaign Frame for Daggerheart exploring lies and prophecies, the making of myths, and what it costs to break destiny. You are not the hero the epic was written for. No prophecy names you. No Muse has claimed your story...yet. So what do you make of a life the songs haven't told yet? If you are a fan of myth retellings such as EPIC: the Musical, A Thousand Ships, The Song of Achilles, come sit by the fire. Some notes on the setting: •  The gods are present but distracted — drawing their eye may bring you greatness, or ruin. Or maybe you'll be drawn to the Mysteries instead? •  No prophecy protects you: your choices ripple outward, and could alter canon myths and even the course of the war itself. •  All stories are welcome, this table is LGBTQ+ friendly. •  New to tabletop, Daggerheart, or Greek myth? This table is beginner-friendly. And no Classics degree required, just curiosity. Sessions will be paid through StartPlaying.com, at 25$ per session. About me: - I've been a Dungeon Master for almost 8 years and I have plenty of experience in guiding new players. I prefer Theater of the Mind with minimal VTT support. - Your story will matter and I love a long, narrative background I can weave into the main story. - I do character voices!  - I also do character artworks :D Safety tools: Session 0, Lines and Veils, Consent checklist and X cards. I prefer to be honest in advance: Echoes of Fate draws from real life in addition to myth. Slavery was present in Ancient Greece, as was mysogyny, war and violence. You will be able to challenge these in-game through your character, or ask me to avoid mentioning them and I will do my best to do so.
