Description

Ash and Salt — A D&D Campaign A dark fantasy nautical adventure set in the world of Acaridian. The seas are dying. Once protected by the mercy of forgotten gods, the oceans of Thaloruun have become a graveyard of storms, ash, pirates, monsters, and ancient horrors rising from beneath the waves. Across shattered islands and cursed waters, powerful pirate lords wage war over relics, runic power, and the fate of the Weave itself. Players begin in the thriving port city of Thalaris, home of the Grand Maelstrom Unity Guild — a massive alliance of bounty hunters, traders, explorers, mercenaries, and rune scholars. From there, the campaign expands into a vast oceanic world filled with eldritch mysteries, legendary sea beasts, fallen angels, undead fleets, ancient ruins, and rival factions battling for control of the seas. Ash and Salt focuses heavily on: Exploration and nautical adventure Rich worldbuilding and deep lore Dangerous factions and pirate politics High fantasy mixed with cosmic horror Meaningful character progression Homebrew runic magic and customization Large scale boss encounters and evolving threats Whether you become a feared pirate hunter, a cursed rune bearer, a relic seeker, or something far worse, the seas of Acaridian remember every choice. The Rune System Ash and Salt features a fully homebrew magic system known as the Rune System. Every creature is connected to the Weave, a vast network of magical threads tied to ambition, souls, concepts, and existence itself. Through this connection, characters may awaken unique Runes — magical powers ranging from elemental abilities like Fire, Water, and Storm, to reality-defying runes such as Chaos, Void, Creation, and Veil. Runes evolve alongside the player, granting: Passive enhancements Unique combat abilities Rune crafting and enchantment Custom evolutions and ascensions Rare legendary or exotic powers The system allows for heavy customization while remaining deeply tied to the lore and themes of the world. No two rune users are truly alike, and stronger runes can eventually influence reality itself. The Session Times: AEST UTC+10 Monday 10:30pm-2:30am Last note on the session times, try to have a flexible schedule as we tend to go past session time Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post! have a great day adventurer.

Hey everyone! I'm looking for a few more players to join my weekly D&D campaign, The Azure Crown, set in the world of Greyhawk. We've just finished Session 0, and have four players atm. Our first proper session is coming up, so now's a great time to jump in without having missed any of the adventure! The campaign is a mix of roleplay, exploration, combat and character-driven storytelling, with the party travelling across Oerth, building their reputation and working towards the prestigious Azure Crown Tournament. Game details: System: D&D 5e (2024 rules) When: Mondays, 7 PM Brisbane time (AEST) *check link below for your timezone* Where: Online via Roll20 and Discord Price: $19.50 USD per session Current party: 4 players, with room for up to 6 Experience: New and experienced players welcome I put a lot of work into preparing my sessions, with custom maps, music, NPCs and plenty of opportunities for players to influence the story. Moth to a Flame — A D&D Campaign The first act of The Tales of Acaridian Wrath has ruptured amongst an elder reality, destroying everything and bleeding its corruption into ours. Acaridian is a simple world of fantasy but not at the mercy of its own chaos. We are set in the desert of Anibuah, a land of dune and scorching rays of heat and herds of vicious monsters, the land is threatened by orcs and elementals as the dragons slumber begins to break from chains beneath, a titan that must remain sealed and now our party is here in search for a lost relic, one which may prevent the titan from awakening, but first they must find the hall of judgement, where the elder god Judge had imprisoned Diablo the dragon titan of ages.. Moth to a Flame focuses heavily on: Exploration with rich worldbuilding, deep lore, high fantasy, cosmic horror and meaningful character progression. Evolving combats and boss encounters, as well as cosmic wonders and chances, the bigger the parties influence, the stronger the enemies. This campaign has a unique Homebrew Rune System, using charts to grant creatures runes based on words forming their own unique element with its own rarity and authority over other rune power. Runes is a massive concept for the Acaridian Series and is a great way to explore creativity. I use homebrew feats to impliment abilities and google docs for stats, its simple but it can be a little overwhelming at first, but trust me once your in the flow, its amazing. Important notes: We are LGBTQ+ friendly but we aren't sensitive friendly, if your not a fan of loudness, dark humor, etc, then i do not suggest you join our group Age span would prefer between 18-30 years old (Can make exceptions for older) I would prefer all members to have a flexible schedule for if we ever need to change dates, but mostly for when we decide to extend sessions We do NSFW themed roleplays and encounters, so if your not comfortable with that mixed with some dark fantasy, then please for your sake don't join haha Preferably be good at speaking english clearly And lastly, be able to operate dnd beyond, owlbear rodeo, and talk in call on discord The Session Times: AEST UTC+10 Saturday and Sunday 9:30am-1:30pm In CST time i believe thats 6:30pm-10:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post! have a great day adventurer.

Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Monday - Thursday    A group decides on day & time Most people will probably play between 16:00 – 21:00 (GMT+0) It'll be played in a Discord voice chat "Theatre of the Mind" playstyle (means no VTT) Discord (weebseatshit) *PREMISE* You are dragged into a dangerous encounter together with other unlucky ones. Now you are bonded whether you want it or not. Since you are a witness, some people want you dead, watch your back(s) & trust no one It's an RP-focused, Forgotten Realms based homebrew campaign, with an emphasis on story & adventures Ratio: 60 Roleplay/30 Exploration/10 Combat Starting level is 1, Point Buy, Milestone leveling Spells become cantrips, a player can cast them without components or GP Cooldown of spells depends from their power level & the DM's will, but if a player is gonna spam spells, i'll Elfen Lied him or put some shit like Leo Bonhart from Witcher  Some spells that affect game's balance & world, may be forbidden. It'll be discussed HP are cinematic. Depending from how much & what kind of damage a character receives, i'll adjust his condition Only these races are allowed: Human, Elf (Moon, Wood), Dwarf, Goliath, Tiefling (Purple, Pink, Blue), Tystling (a human with cat ears (& eyes)) Artificer & Psion aren't allowed I'll describe locations & looks with little to no detail Just like with the books, i'd prefer that every player imagined their own stuff (& because there may be an info that player may not get or just ignore) About forbidden spells As an example, this is only level 1 Wizard, but i hope you get an idea Mending Charm Person Detect Magic Detect Poison and Disease Friends Unseen Servant Tasha's Hideous Laughter Sudden Awakening Sleep Sense Emotion Puppet Identify Id Insinuation Healing Elixir Disguise Self Comprehend Languages Cause Fear Ressurection & lethal spells Instead of using ability checks or in-game tools (acquiring unique items, talking to people, searching for clues, improvise), a player casts a spell that speedruns a campaign But a player can prepare all other spells A tystling is similar to a cat Monochrome darkvision Enhanced senses: smell, hearing, vision, touch & balance (+3 Dexterity, Perception, Acrobatics) Soft step: walking is almost noiseless (unless a tystling has something noisy on), running is slightly quieter comparing to other races (+4 Stealth) A tystling is shorter than an elf, but taller than a dwarf A tystling is slim like an elf, but lighter than an elf, with smaller muscles. That makes a tystling even more agile & dexterous than an elf, but it's very hard for a tystling to lift or carry medium heavy things (8 AC, -5 Strength, Athletics)
