A broken and forgotten promise, that is all it took to give rise to the return of demons. Campaign Pitch Nihonhara is a land steeped in tradition; one of myth where regional gods walk the land as mortals do albeit not always showing themselves. The gods of the land are revered and vows are made to them by individuals, but none so great as the “Promise of Plenty.” During the War of Reflections, the now empress’ forces broke the Promise of Plenty, and has released the demons from their confinement by the gods. Those actions now imperil all the people of Nihonhara. You play as heroes caught up in the changes caused by the return of demons, by either embracing or attempting to reverse their return. I am 24 and he/him pronouns. If you've read this far thanks! I try my best to be respectful of everyone and expect my players to do the same. I've played/dm'd several different systems including PF1e,Pf2e, 5e, Cyberpunk Red, Fallout 2d20 and have done this since the start of Covid. While I would say I'm an experienced DM, I have my strengths and weaknesses as a DM and would like to list them to help people decide if my game is for them! Strengths Incorporating player backstories into the main story in a way that feels natural Encounters feel the way they are meant to (You can feel it's Dangerous or if your supposed to run you know to.) Willing to try my best to tailor the game to what players would like to see. Weaknesses Voices, I will try accents, I will try voices, They will be bad, They will make you laugh, I may try but they will not be good. Laziness at times in checking rules, Although not as prevalent in Daggerheart, There are oftentimes I don't wish to sift through rules during session to find the exact ruling. I may choose to rule in favor of the players that session and let everyone know after I check the rule going forward it will be the proper ruling. When this occurs I often post the rule in a Reminder channel on discord so I don't have to sift for it again.
