Hi, I’m Dragonkan, but you can just call me Dragon for short I’m looking to join either one-shots or a campaign so I can play some of my characters ideas. I don’t really mind the platform, I’ve played on Roll20 and Foundry before, but I’m open to learning a new one if the opportunity comes up! The best time for me is during the weekends, but right now I can usually find time on other days too if you give me a bit of advance notice. Some of my characters use light homebrew or options from less common books, but I also have some characters that use popular knowlege/books. iv done tabletop with friends before and always was the GM. i even tried to run my own textbased game but could never keep those alive, people eventually just stopped responding even after multiple reminders its their turn in combat. so im looking to be a player this time instead. im fine with both roll20 and discord text play. the three characters i can for DND offer are: -a kobold demolitionist (comic relief obsessed with explosives. this guy would use a more explosives focused subclass for artificer i found on reddit if thats ok with your game) -a tribal tabaxi guy with spear who moves fast and haresses enemies in melee (this character is very cruel and would be only suited to serious games) -a harengon geomancer (this guy would only use earth and stone themed spells and im partial to reflavoring existing spells as earth ones) for other settings i usually have one character per setting. NOTE: im not interested in character creation involving rolled stats i dont like rng deciding my stats i prefer pointbuy.

Hi, I'm Patchwork. I'm a 20-something geek who enjoys spending his time on various TTRPGs. My previous group fell apart due to scheduling issues, as most do, so I'm here looking for something new! I'm mostly into the roleplaying aspect of tabletop games, I enjoy immersing myself in whatever character and world I'm put into, and bouncing off party hijinks! I usually put a lot of effort and a decent amount of writing into my characters and their backstories, but I usually do that as a creative writing exercise, and never expect a DM to know it front-to-back (I always put a summarization/TL;DR first). But if you do, all the better! In terms of systems and experience with VTTs, you can already see what systems I've looked into/played, and I've gamed a bunch in Roll20 and Foundry, so I'll have no issues navigating either of those VTTs. But if you have something new, I'm always willing to learn! As for the kind of games I'm looking for, I've been playing Fantasy for quite a long time now, and I'm hoping to get into some Sci-fi settings, and trying out systems in that niche. Hello everyone! my name is Blair, and I am a player looking for more games to play! my schedule just recently opened up, and i need to roll dice and tell some stories! a bit about me: a bulk of my TTRPG experience comes from playing 2014, but i do have experience playing other systems as well, such as Candela Obscura, Daggerheart, Pathfinder, and I've even played a homebrew version of DND. when it comes to me as a player, i do tend to play spellcasters, it just intrigues me a lot more than the martial classes, and when I do play martial classes, i always give them limited magic. I'm also a pretty respectful tablemate, i try to give my fellow players a chance to get involved. along with that, I do engage in romance, both PC and NPC, just depends on whether or not the table is down with that! oh, speaking of romance, i am Queer and trans! with the world that we exist in, I find that it is better for my table to know that upfront than learn that not only am I not cis but also, I like both boys and girls, it's just a fact of life. with that you must be a Queer and trans friendly table as well as a disabled friendly table since I am disabled as well! now to move onto a gm I would prefer: typically, how I'd parse out a potential good GM for me to play under, is I'd do a one-shot with them and see if we're a good fit, and if we can have good conversation, but considering the nature of a post like this, I am willing to forego that! that being said, you still need to have the following: be America-based and even more specifically be CST-based- since I am based in North America, I just can't do uber late games. it's not good for my mental health, and it causes me to be a terrible person for responding to DMs. RP skills - this doesn't mean that you shouldn't at least try to incorporate combat in your sessions but i need those RP skills sharpened to the max! homebrew vs. Module - I am willing to play a module but i would prefer a homebrew world. it shows that you are more than willing to be flexible with your players' stories and want to share that creativity with the world at large. recording vs basic home game - I am very okay and do consent to a recorded game, considering i have been in a few actual plays! that, however, does not mean that i will turn my nose up at a basic home game, in fact that is one of my favorites!

Greetings, I am looking to hopefully scratch my ttrpg itch and enjoy some good storytelling and roleplay with other people. I am familiar with a variety of game systems and am happy to learn new ones; I just ask you be patient while learning the game. My biggest area of expertise is D&D but I have played Pathfinder 1e for a few years; though I still feel a bit like a newbie when it comes to the game itself. I have a few character concepts and am usually available in the evenings; I also love to create characters with good motivations and even plot hooks if they are wanted/needed. Experienced player looking for a new (weekly) group. I've ran long campaigns and played in them. I prefer an older crowd. I can get along with anyone, but I prefer everyone at the table to be able to legally drink a beer. I like a mix of roleplay and combat, with some exploration and puzzle solving mixed in. I'm open to playing other RPG's but I know DnD the best. I don't mind playing with inexperienced players. I don't mind contributing financially for books, VTT, or other necessities, but I'm not interested in paying to play. The type of game I enjoy is one that isn't the same every session. I'm perfectly fine with a session that has one fight that takes all session. I'm also fine with only roleplay. Mix it up, it fights the rut. I also like to vary between serious and fun. Every session doesn't have to be super serious, and every session shouldn't be all joking. I'm team oriented. I don't have a favorite class or race...I like to explore different combinations and to help out where the group may be weak. I'm available week nights after 5pm.

"Hello there!" I don't use my char sheet only as a stat block. I build a personality and live it. If I play a bard paladin, that thing sings SABATON. Martials can engage with the environment via bonking and bonking bonking alone. That is why I'm a wizard. Power builds are for noobs, I'm here to have fun. I have a spellbook for different applications of shape water, mold earth, prestidigitation. When I play, I remove rooftiles to sneak in between them. Opponents on grease got pushed under tables and chairs. When they try to stand up breakdancing starts. I nerd out and encourage everyone to do the same. As a DM you get to fight on rooftops, underwater, runaway carriages chased by cavalry in the middle of the city. Everyone would get a tavern brawl so chairs and tables will fly! There is allways verticality. Can allways jump down from 2nd floor to the first to get away, my maps are just built like that. The NPC I make... I love to mess them up mid session. They aren't just there for your interactions. They live, breathe. Sith is allways around. Everything is messy, everything is chaotic. If you can do it, the NPC can do it - just not unfairly.

I have been big in to Dungeons and Dragons for a sveral years now, having read a lot of the offical books, watched a lot of videos about the game, played video games based on it and even running some mild homebrew with family and friends. I'm mainly looking to play in fantasy settings as that is my favourite type of world setting, and I'm hoping to find both great people to play the game with but also to make friends! I'm a forever-DM who's looking to join a campaign as a player for once. I enjoy role play and combat and love discussing the lore of the game even when we're not playing. I love on the east coast of the US, but work weird early morning hours, so am usually looking for games in time zones that are a little ahead of my own. Specifically, I joined to see if there were any groups out there that use Cubicle 7's Uncharted Journeys travel and journey rules. I purchased it for a couple months ago and it seems really cool but I wanted to experience it as a player before using it in my campaigns. Hello! I'm Amanda, I've played d&d 5e for a couple of years - one as a wizard and one as a druid. Looking for 18+ (21+ even better), lgbtq+ friendly groups. I'm in the EST timezone. Friday evenings and Sundays are my best times, possibly Monday, Thursday, or Saturday evenings. Casual player here hoping to have fun and maybe make some friends along the way. I love spellcasters and really want to play either a wizard or sorcerer as my next character. Class and race ultimately would be determined based on campaign and version of D&D. I'm looking for a good mix of roleplay/exploration/combat; I really enjoy the rp aspect and having a fun storyline to follow as well as the flow of combat. Being able to roll my physical dice is a must, there's something really satisfying about it. I can promise I'm not looking to dice cheat or anything. I started out with an in person group and due to that I get a lot of satisfaction from actually rolling my own dice vs clicking a button. I also collect dice that match each character - my first character had a few sets of purple-themed dice, my next character had dice themed around her being a circle of wildfire druid (plant dice, fire dice, and green dice). I plan on that continuing with my next character. I'm really wanting to play in the standard d&d high fantasy setting (nothing space, mech, etc). Homebrew campaigns only, I'm not wanting to play one of the premade campaigns like Descent into Avernus. I do also have a character idea! I'm not set on playing her, and the idea is setting and starting-level dependent. But basically: A character who starts off down the path of a paladin or cleric, but realizes magic is her calling instead. The reason she started as a paladin or cleric would be worked into the setting, but originally the idea was that she was a cultist who fully believed in that cult. Until she became disillusioned and saw through for what was really going on. After fleeing the cult (did she help take it down?), she wanted to atone and become a paladin or cleric to fight those in power in cults throughout the land - and then found magic was her calling in that fight instead. Functionally, starting with a level in paladin or cleric then multiclassing into wizard or sorcerer.

I've been playing TTRPGs for over 10 years now, starting with an incredibly fast-and-loose version of DnD 3.5 in highschool, but I became more familiar with systems when I got in to 5e in ~2016. Been playing 5th edition since 2015 so Ive got a fair number of years under my belt, from large servers with multiple gms to several campaigns that lasted up to a year.
