Been part of a Candela Obscura table for about 2 years every other Tuesday. Love that so much got a tattoo of it. Tried to branch out to roll 20 discord voice for a few months, got enjoyment out of it but i started to feel pressured to 'perform'. I also hated how an entire session could be filled up with just combat. While combat is fun, if it is number crunchy and too long it just feels like a waste of time.  I'm a rp and lore junky. I loved the characters and story of my campaigns, did not care or know really how to make a super powerful and dps build. Which tells me while I prefer combat to be more rp prone.  I'm a 34 year old mailman and husband and father, so time is very tight.  I will post at least 5 posts a day. Depending on the workload and how high maintenance the family is, and if I find the pbp compelling, I might do a lot more. I hope so. That's why I ultimately ended up bowing out of the dnd.  So my next stepping stone in my ttrpg journey is to find a pbp that posts normally that focuses on rp and story. While I appreciate the chaos and uncertainty of the dice it shouldn't be at the deterrent of player creativity, or fun, or rule of cool. But that's just me.  I can learn any system or setting, I'm a smart dude. I value the people and the pc and the story over all. Also, I'm from Kansas. In the US. Normal sleep schedule. So CDT is where I'm at. That has been an issue before. I've never done paid pbp before but if the quality of the campaign, and set up, and pace is good enough I have no issue helping with a few dollars to the gm

Ellie Zavidov
Hello everyone, my name is Ellie. I myself am a professional GM and after GMing so many games I'm looking for a DND 5E, Exalted 3e/Essence, or VTM game to be a player in on Friday evenings GMT+2/3!  About me as a player: I like heavy RP and plot games where there is a metaplot where a group of Heroes (or villains, but I much prefer playing a good-aligned character) change the world or do something important, that feels meaningful. I like GMs that respect players in and out of character, and that know when to say no and when to say yes to cool stunts and feats. I like when my character's backstory is implemented, and I will give hooks for the GM to use. I try to engage in conversation with other players in and out of character; I try to make my GM's life as easy as possible with a team player/encouraging leader type of characters. I like deep bonds in and out of character, with NPCs and PCs and players and the GM alike. I am punctual and I will always let the GM know in advance if I can't arrive or if something happens. For paid games: I don't do SPG, and I heavily prefer monthly payment through PayPal. My budget is 60-100$ monthly for a *weekly* game preferably, paid at the beginning of each month (after I get my own payment from my own career). I also enjoy making friends and being in open communication with players and the GM alike. After all, I prefer paying someone whom I care about and cares about me and about me having a good time. What I'm not looking for: Modules, lack of commitment, and insensitive behavior in games and out of games. I'm not fragile but I have my limits for some content warnings and I prefer having these limits be respected. Please DM me with offers and campaign suggestions. Thank you SO much!

Jess
TTRPG player based in Melbourne (AEST), looking for a consistent group that values thoughtful storytelling, strong table dynamics, collaborative play and finishing campaigns. My playstyle sits between narrative and systems. I care about character arcs, party cohesion, and thematic depth, but I also engage properly with mechanics—decisions should matter, and the system should have weight. I’m particularly drawn to settings with strong worldbuilding, moral tension, or mythic/spiritual undertones rather than pure power fantasy. Experience-wise, I’ve played D&D and adjacent systems, and although i am a newbie at TTRPGs, I am a skilled board game player and used to run board game groups so I’m comfortable picking up new rules quickly. I also design board games on the side, so I tend to engage with systems analytically without disrupting flow.  At the table, I’m reliable, communicative, and respectful of pacing and spotlight balance. I prefer collaborative groups over chaotic or meme-heavy play. Not interested in flakey scheduling or competitive groups with alpha players.  For games, I am more drawn to immersive worlds with meaningful decisions than combat heavy game systems. Games like Dune, Daggerheart, Numenera, Candela Oscura, Call of Cthulhu etc interest me the most. Logistics: Evenings AEST work best. Mainly open to online using VTTs like Alchemy (preferred) or Roll20 and Foundy.  Happy to align on tone, boundaries, and expectations upfront

Complete beginner looking for a friendly online D&D group. I’d love a beginner-friendly game with a good balance of roleplay, exploration, and combat. Happy to learn the rules and join a one-shot, campaign, or something longer-term and more complex if the group is willing to accommodate my noobishness.

Friendly Pyromancer
From the moment I found the monster manual in a game shop all those years ago, my fate was sealed. Ever since, I've DM'd for friends and strangers both IRL and online all sorts of wild adventures, from official modules I would overhaul entirely, to homebrew campaigns that allowed players to run free with their characters, to one-shots that would stretch D&D's mechanics and story-telling medium to its absolute limits. It's a neverending journey, exploring the best of human creativity and improving at the craft every time I run/play. I look forward to seeing you at my table!

I'm a newbie player who has dabbled in DnD and a bit in VtM and I yearn for some serious playfulness. Hoping to find a group I can fit into, make friends and have fantasy fun. I am based in Tallinn and would love a chance to play at a table but will absolutely play online too. I'm quite excitable and will be very immersed in gameplay which means I will shake with adrenaline in combat, kick my feet at new discoveries and will most likely weep at some point. I would like to think that I'm a good addition to a DnD group with likeminded people. Right now, I can consistently play on the weekends.

Noah Micah
Hi! My name is Noah, Micah, and NoahMicah, you can choose whatever to call me. My pronouns are he/him/his and they/them/theirs and I am half Filipino. I have been GM-ing since 2020, beginning with a way too ambitious homebrewed D&D 5e original story that I still hold dear in my heart. I am an aspiring writer and, as such, I prioritize storytelling and making sure I incorporate as much of my players’ wants and desires for their characters as much as possible. The aspect of communal storytelling is what I love the most about GM-ing TTRPGs. This also includes making sure I make everyone feel comfortable and welcome, be that in ensuring boundaries are respected to incorporating players’ experiences and cultures in the story. I am very proud of my Filipino culture and include that in as many games as possible, so I extend that to my players too. I want to make sure everyone feels heard and has a ton of fun at the same time! Genres I tend to gravitate towards are horror, fantasy, science fiction, and modern/slice of life. Often, I blend one or two or three of these together. If you are looking for deep worldbuilding and a table where your voice is heard and listened to, come on in! I hold all my games on Discord and will provide you with a link when you sign up. I look forward to getting to know you!

Hi, you can call me Eli and I love RPGs. I do not limit myself to the d20, I think the thing that has made me a strong gamemaster over the decades is playing as many TTRPGs as possible. I would love to explore new worlds and dimensions with you, or craft some together! My focus has always been the connection between players and the tales we tell without limiting our imaginations. My favorite games to play are Mage: The Awakening, Savage Worlds, and Fabula Ultima. My schedule is full, but if you are interested in gaming with me feel free to send a DM and hopefully we can work something out!
