This is exactly what brought me to the table over 30 years ago.  It started with that very special Red Box and carried on to Marvel Super Heroes, Rifts, Vampire: The Masquerade, The HERO system, and many more.  TTRPG's speak to my analytical side and my creative side.  I love to see what I can build but, I also want to see what you can build.  I have spent over three decades in gaming learning from fellow players and GM's.  Now, I want to learn from you. So, after all this time, what kind of GM am I? I'm what happens when a theatre major becomes a power gamer.  I dig into the lore and the rules because I want to understand how to run the game.  I prepare for my games like an actor preparing for a role; only, as a GM, I am playing all of the roles except yours.  On Roll20, where I run my games, my Display Name is "Everybody Else."  It's not me against you.  I want you to succeed and feel powerful doing it. I want you to feel safe and valued here as well.  The only thing I will not tolerate is intolerance.  I welcome everyone from power gamers to beginners.  I also welcome your criticism.  I need it to grow and I will never stop growing as a GM.
