TTRPG as a generative tool for Creative Writing

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a small group of players for an experimental project that combines Changeling: The Lost gameplay with a creative writing workshop format. The idea is to run a story-focused online campaign where the events, characters, and conflicts that emerge during gameplay become inspiration for creative writing between sessions. We will also hold workshop sessions where participants can share and discuss pieces inspired by the evolving story. The goal is to explore whether collaborative storytelling through a tabletop RPG can act as a generative tool for creative writing. System Changeling: The Lost Platform Online (Zoom and/or Discord) Time Zone Eastern Standard Time (EST) Experience No experience with Changeling, tabletop RPGs, or creative writing workshops is required. New players and new writers are welcome. This project is meant to be a space to experiment with storytelling, whether you already write regularly or are simply curious about trying it. Writing Component Writing between sessions is not strictly required, but the project is designed for people who want to use the evolving story as inspiration for creative work. Participants are encouraged to bring pieces inspired by the campaign to workshop sessions. Writing can take many forms such as short fiction, poetry, character perspectives, or other creative pieces. Group Size Small table Age Requirement 18+ Scheduling Before the campaign begins, I will host a short info session where I will explain the format and answer questions. Scheduling for the campaign sessions will be discussed during that meeting so we can find a time that works for the group. Pilot Project This is a pilot run, and I will ask participants to provide feedback on the process so I can refine the workshop format. If this sounds interesting to you, feel free to comment or send me a message.
