It is our ancestors great adaptability and the strength we carry because of it that has ensured our survival and resilience. However, a century ago, humanity tapped into a new resource, a new tool. A new gift for which finally gave the ability to compete for conquests of these lands: The Arcane. Osiris Black calls this magic a gift from the sun and the stars. Mastering it to be our world's first and most powerful mage. Alongside the founders of the four guilds, they paved the way for more than just our survival, but for our advancement. In the present day, the four guilds are split on each of the main continents, and each with different specialties. It is all of our combined effort that continues our mission for peace and perseverance. This is will be a 6 or so session long campaign inspired heavily by the video game series Monster Hunter. As well as taking inspiration and sharing some lore from JRWI actual play show Total Party Kill. In this campaign you will be playing as newly minted Hunters who have been assigned to Kraken's Heart. The command center of the Tempest Blades, watchers and hunters of Aqari. Here you will fight monsters unfathomable to anyone in our world. You will hunt and track out in the unforgivable field. You will earn every kill you come across. And you will learn just why it is that monsters have ruled and dominated the planet for so long. ---------- Practical Info: System: D&D 5e Age: 20+ Level: Starting level 5 or 6. (I haven't decided yet) Species: In this setting there are only humans. However you can still use other species' abilities and flavor them as abilities or skills you have.
