Description

Heya, folks! I'm Braeden, from the USA, and I have been playing tabeltop games since I was 8, starting with D&D 3.5E. I've been GM-ing for D&D and other games for around 6 years now and have even made games my career.

The kingdom of Krusiven is caught in the throws of a revolution. The monstrous King Kudellir has used his authority over the kingdom to impose high taxes, establish harsh curfews and checkpoints, and use the military against the citizenry. Now, the Crowned Prince has vocally shown his support for the rebellion, leaving the safety of the castle to lead the people out of his father's rule. In this game, you will be taking on the role as the Yellow Brigade, a small party of revolutionaries as they climb the ranks to help free the kingdom from tyranny. You'll travel the country and gather supporters and uncover hidden secrets that the King has kept hidden. --- The Human Kingdom of Krusiven is an old one, rising to prominence soon after the Fall of Obrikjar- the capital of the First Empire. The ruling family, House Kravik, united the wandering surviors of the Fall and founded a realm of Human traditionalism and a deep-seeded hated for divinity. For many generations, the Kings of the land were responsible for growing the kingdom to its current glory. But the current King, Lawrence Kravik III, has done the opposite. The tyrant has imposed new taxes and increased existing ones, sent his personal militia out to enforce his personal law, holds public executions for lawbreakers like parades, and has even talked about starting food restrictions. All the while he lavishes in fat luxury, and whispers from castle staff tell of dark rituals and even darker visitors. The tipping point came when the personal soldiers of the King, called the Cerulean Claws, began taking too much coal from the people of Graywell's Hollow. The small mining town had already had most of their coal taken by the Crown for "royal business", but now they were left with basically nothing, and winter was soon approaching. The people revolted and drove the Crown from their town and secured enough of their coal to last the winter as well as full control of their coal mine. This inspired groups from around the kingdom to rise, and soon the Uncrowned were established. After a year of war, neither side gaining any true advantage and essentially just trading lands back and forth, the Crown Prince of the kingdom fled the castle and joined with the Uncrowned. This reignited the fires of rebellion in the people and they came back in force, with one of the major farming communities of the kingdom forcing the Crown to leave soon after this news. Now, the revolution is at a pivitol point where a big move needs to be made. There are many smaller groups within the rebellion that want the spotlight, one in particular acts as the "special forces" for the Uncrowned. The Yellow Brigade is a small taskforce of heavy hitters made of a mix of different kinds of fighters brought together with the sole purpose to win the war and put Prince Avery on the throne. ---|---|--- Hey, folks 👋🏻 My name is Braeden and as you can see, I'm putting together a D&D 5.5E table centered around a revolution against a tyrant ruler. I'm a long-time lover, player, and GM for many TTRPGs with experience going back to when I was 8 years old. I was inspired by Fable 3 to make this game when, after I played it, I thought "I could do better than that". So I wrote this 😂 I plan on having large scale battles, naval battles, and stellar boss battles paired with a tracked party renown, political intrigue, and the ability to affect change in the kingdom. This is a paid table with 5 total seats and the campaign will run from Level 3 to Level 12-14. The standard rate for play is $20/session for a 4-hour session ($5/hr), but we may sometimes go under. I do my best to not go overtime, but if that happens, your session rate is capped at $20. Sessions will be every Wednesday at 8:00 AM CST and will repeat for 8-10 sessions. If you're interested in this game, or if you have other questions, you can reach out here or on Discord: cheeks 4901. Let's play some fun games together!

Lost to the Umbra

Gathered close around the Sacred Pyre of Lothinayn, the Enduring who have found safety here have been going missing in the night. There are no signs before they leave, but once they're driven to walk beyond the safe glow they gain a mark on their forehead. Lothinayn is running out of Enduring, and soon it will lose its Pyre if the cause isn't taken care of. In this game, work as a group to survive the terrors of the Umbra to uncover the cause of the missing Enduring, prevent the continued loss of more, and hoepfully recover those who have been lost. --- Lothinayn exists south of the Amber Reach, along the coasts of the Ashen Seas. While the majority of Enduring in the Halcyon Domain need only contend with the beasts of the land turned monstrous atrocities, those here must also deal with the creatures of the cursed depths. Most days are met with waves of frigid mist that carry with it haunting whispers, others are met with a howling roar from far out in the Seas. The Enduring of Lothinayn, once proud fishermen for Amber Reach, still uphold that tradition. However, since the Apostasy the amount of fishermen brave enough has dwindled. A paranoid settlment, being so close to Amber Reach and the Ashen Seas, the Enduring here have purposely remained out of the affairs of other Pyre settlements. They often refuse visitors, traders, and messengers, only allowing the most urgent of requests in. It is a settlement with high, but thin walls, and breaches happen with irregular persistence. The elders of Lothinayn, the oldest barely over 50, uphold the security of their settlement with maybe a grip that's too hard. And now a new catastrophe is rearing it's head for the settlement. If the cause of Lothinayn's newest threat isn't eliminated, the consequences will be more than just food. Your party has been put together as a last hope for the people. Your goal: go north into the Umbra and find what is drawing your people from the safety of the Pyre, eliminate the threat, and return, hopefully with survivors in tow. ---|---|--- Hey, folks 👋🏻 My name is Braeden and, as you can see, I'm putting together an Age of Umbra game for Daggerheart on my DIscord server. I'm a long-time lover, player, and GM of many TTRPGs with experience going back to 8 years old. I play a more narritve-focused style, but I've also always loved video games like Dark Souls and Elden Ring, so a campaign like this feels like home. The table I'm running has four available seats, each of them are paid. Sessions will be on Mondays at 7:30 PM CST, running weekly for a Tier 1-Tier 3 game over 6-8 weeks. The standard rate for my tables is $20/session for a 4 hour session (so $5/hr), but we may go under and I do my best to not go overtime. If that does happen, your session rate is capped at $20. If you're interested, or have other questions, reach out to me here or on Discord. Let's play a fun game together!
