CY_BORG

A Nano-infested doomsday RPG about cybernetic misfits and punks raging against a relentless corporate hell.

Overview

CY_BORG is a cyberpunk tabletop RPG created by Christian Sahlén and Johan Nohr of Stockholm Kartell, published by Free League Publishing in 2022 following a November 2021 Kickstarter. It's a direct spin-off of
MÖRK BORG https://groupfinder.gg/library/mork-borg-2020
, Pelle Nilsson and Nohr's doom-metal-flavored apocalyptic fantasy game from 2020, swapping that game's black-metal dark fantasy for a noise, industrial, and underground-hip-hop-inspired vision of cyberpunk - and it's fully compatible with MÖRK BORG's own rules and content. Where MÖRK BORG is often pitched as a doom metal album in RPG form, CY_BORG plays the same trick with a different genre, trading gothic dread for corporate-hellscape rage.

Description

Playing CY_BORG means playing one of six ready-made classes - the Forsaken Gang-Goon, Shunned Nanomancer, Renegade Cyberslasher, Burned Hacker, Orphaned Gearhead, or Discharged Corp Killer - dropped into the sprawling megacity of Cy, a world of warring corporations, gangs, cults, and an alien nanotech infestation that keeps mutating everything it touches.  Character creation is quick and dirty, mostly determined by dice rolls across tables for abilities, gear, quirks, and even who a character owes money to, staying true to MÖRK BORG's rules-light, rulings-before-rules design philosophy. Sessions tend to run as short, dangerous jobs - the included introductory heist, Lucky Flight Takedown, has players scope out and hit a casino - rather than long-form dungeon delving, and death comes easily enough that a fresh, disposable punk is always just a few dice rolls away.

Free
Saga20 Free Tools is a set of small utilities for D&D and TTRPGs, each built to clear one specific bottleneck at the table. Nothing asks for a login, nothing runs ads, and each one loads as its own page. The dice roller handles a d20 with advantage or disadvantage, applies the modifier, and rolls damage in the same click, with the full set from d4 to d100 and a typed input for things like 1d20 + 2d6. The Magic Item Price Calculator gives a fair gold value for any 5e item from its rarity and category, and shows the valid market range so a generous DM does not accidentally break the campaign economy. The Point Buy Calculator builds ability scores using point buy, the standard array, or rolled stats, with live modifiers under both the 2014 and 2024 rules. The rest follow the shape of a campaign. Before the first session, an agreement builder covers logistics, safety tools, and house rules, then exports to PDF, and a party connection generator ties the characters' backstories to each other. Mid-game there is a time manager for pacing and a wild magic surge table with 100 original effects. Afterwards the recap generator turns the night's highlights into cards worth sharing. There is also a shopkeeper generator, a magic item picker, and a party composition analyzer that says out loud whether anyone remembered to bring a healer. Best for any table wanting a quick tool or answer mid-session without making an account first.

Vagabond // Pulp Fantasy RPG

TTRPG
English
Rules-medium
Vagabond // Pulp Fantasy RPG is a d20-based OSR fantasy game designed by Taron "Indestructoboy" Pounds - an ENnie Award-winning designer previously known for third-party D&D 5e class content - and published through his own studio, Land of the Blind. It funded its development on Kickstarter in 2023, with a print run funded via Gamefound in 2024, and fans have taken to calling it "the Pathfinder of the OSR": an attempt to bring modern character-build depth to old-school-inspired dungeon crawling without losing the rulings-over-rules, low-prep philosophy that defines games like Knave, Cairn, and Into the Odd, several of which are explicitly credited as influences. Description Playing Vagabond means playing pulp-flavored fantasy adventurers - the kind of setting where a Goblin Gunslinger might delve a mummy's tomb alongside a Dwarf Witch hunting Excalibur - built specifically to keep GM prep and mental overhead low while still giving players a genuinely deep character-building toolkit. It's explicitly compatible with B/X-derived monsters, classic TSR modules, and Old School Essentials adventures, so existing OSR content drops in with little to no conversion. All rolls are player-facing, meaning players roll rather than the GM rolling against them, and creature stat blocks include a built-in "Action Gambit" describing exactly what a monster does in combat, aiming to strip improvised tactical decisions away from the GM entirely.
