Within Ad Astra, a magic school garnering students from all corners of the world...
A group of students are given a foresight of a calamity that will happen in roughly one year!
Within that time, they must prepare, make allies and defend against the coming attack.
*The World / Setting*
Comes with a homebrewed world and some lore adjustments. We're a group of both new and experienced players, looking to fill in a blank spot.
If you like Magic/Tech settings then we have just the thing for you. Where magic missile doesn't work, a shotgun probably will.
*The Story*
You, a group of students, whether newly becoming a part of Ad Astra, or been a part of it, are shown a vision from the future by a Goddess, where the school is struck by an avatar of a malevolent god. You are given roughly one year of time to prepare, be it improve your gear, skills, or recruit people to your cause... or perhaps seek means to stop the attack before it even happens, discover its source and whatnot.
I lean into Sandbox themes in my storytelling, so aside from what's stated here, the players are free to pursue this goal however they like, so long as the party unanimously agrees to it. For all I care, just join the bad guys and explode the school if you want.
Important little detail to point out: You are free to make your age whatever you want, so long as your character can read and is a conscious being.
*A little about me*
I, as a DM, am a mirror of the player's soul. If the party leans towards being morally corrupt, they will be given plenty of opportunities to do so, if they like being charitable and chivalrous, they will similarly be given opportunities to express this. My strongest and weakest side is that I love, and very often improvise and tailor the story around the characters and their decisions. If you end up being in the game, you'll see why it's both strong and weak.
*Scheduling*
Right now, the games are likely to be held during the weekends, but this is prone to change depending on player availability, and in the evenings (After 6PM GMT)
If you're interested please don't hesitate to reach out.
Or if you read this far, honestly, if you didn't lose interest so far then you'll do just fine.
