Description

South of the Whistling White and separated from Ardencroft by the treacherous Sea of Stones, Bjornheim is a land of beauty and savagery in equal measure. The skalds sing of the deeds of its warriors and adventurers in the Age of the Sword, but those songs are little more than old stories now. The Age of the Wolf dawns as the late king is laid to rest. With his death, the clans have fallen to infighting, monsters and bandits prowl the countryside, and an ancient evil stirs... The exiled crown prince has returned to stake his claim to the throne, and he has put out the call for adventurers to aid him in the brewing civil war. The party seeks an ancient artifact that both sides hope will ensure their victory, but danger abounds as they navigate the war-ravaged countryside—and there are signs that an ancient evil may once again threaten the land. Setting Bjornheim is an ancient land in the far north, where civilization clings to the fringes of foreboding mountain ranges and vast forests dotted with the remnants of the long-forgotten past. The forces of change press upon its shores; the realm stands divided between the guardians of tradition and the champions of progress, and the first battles of the civil war now rage. While helping shape the land's future, the party will delve into lost secrets of its past, and their actions will determine whether Bjornheim steps forth into the light of a new age or slips into chaos. Similar to modules like Rime of the Frostmaiden and Tomb of Annihilation, the events of the campaign take place in a relatively well-defined geographical area—in this case, the homebrew setting of Bjornheim—with the aim that a narrower geographic scope will provide a deeper and more dynamic setting. Bjornheim is inspired by the history of Scandinavia during the end of the Viking Age (c. 1100 AD) and the Carolingian Empire following the death of Charlemagne (c. 850 AC), periods of violent upheaval and political turmoil. Aspects have been borrowed or adapted from Norse culture and mythology, fused with elements from various other historical and popular sources. Campaign Logistics The campaign began in mid-2022 and we've reliably played weekly since, with over 120 sessions complete and the party now at level 12. We play every Saturday, starting at 10:30pm EST and running until 1:30am. The game is played via Foundry VTT with Discord used for voice chat, so a microphone of tolerable quality and a decent internet connection are required. Discord is used for campaign management and chatplay between sessions. The current party composition is as follows: Light Cleric, Spore Druid, Storm Sorcerer, Shadow Monk, and Aberrant Mind Sorcerer. There’s no particular class I'm "looking" for someone to play, but I think the party has plenty of interesting roles a new character could shine in. Experience levels are similarly varied; this is the first campaign for some players, while others have years of playtime under their belts. The campaign kicked off with a party of 6 players, but we've been periodically gaining or losing members to encounters with the dangerous monsters Real Life and Scheduling Conflicts. A slightly larger party allows more opportunities for interesting character dynamics and affords a comfortable degree of protection against dropouts or absences, so we’ve elected to once again put out the call. What I'm Looking For & How to Apply I'm looking for a friendly, creative player with a love for rich narrative and roleplay moments big and small to join the party in a dynamic, custom world rife with danger, intrigue, and ancient secrets. Someone with prior 5e experience is strongly preferred, as stepping into a mid-level campaign is a lot to ask of someone new to the system. No minors, but I'm otherwise not concerned about your age/gender/background/etc. If you bring a positive attitude to the table and are fun to play with, you’ll find we’re an easy bunch to get along with. The campaign has been a roughly equal split between roleplay and combat, which has been a comfortable balance for the table. While it won't be a good fit for a player looking to grind their way through dungeon after dungeon, the campaign takes place in a rich world with plenty of opportunities for players interested in intrigue, worldbuilding, and storytelling. The player application can be found linked in the contact info. If I think you seem like a good addition to the table, I'll reach out to you to discuss things a bit further. I appreciate your taking the time to apply--I will review all applications submitted and you have my word that you will hear back from me one way or another. If you have any other questions, feel free to message me or leave a comment below.

ABOUT: This adventure takes place in the Sansinukob Wildspace. This system has 13 planets, held together by a dead and forgotten god at the center. There are no suns here, only moons to illuminate every planet. Fifty years ago, a monstrous sea serpent named Bakunawa awakened from her slumber, consumed by endless hunger. She consumed all six moons above planet Tawalisi, one by one, until they were left in darkness for thirty years. Twenty years ago, the datu, Maximo Catubig, invented Bulan Lights, magical lamps that emit artificial moonlight, finally bringing light back to his people. They were a solace, soon placed in every home in Tawalisi. The people were finally able to thrive again, and Maximo helped pave the way to further technological advancement. However, decades of darkness had taken its toll; Some of the citizens of Tawalisi have become consumed by the same hunger that possessed Bakunawa, mutating their bodies and destroying their minds until all they can think about is eating the Bulan Lights. They will stop at nothing to consume all sources of moonlight, and will hurt and kill anything and anyone that gets in the way. Datu Maximo has called for help from all adventurers willing to listen. Assist him in installing these lights wherever he can, so he can save his people from being plunged into darkness again. Hello, My name is blu I'm looking for a group to play with in a bleach based campaign and a DM willing to run it Theres a Source book everyone will be able to get onto for free at all times online and I have saved the CS's thats specially made for the source book, all I'm looking for is up to 3 other players who want to try the class/races within the book and a dm willing to build a campaign based around the SB. I will send or put the SB somewhere in the dis server or if you want to peak at it sooner I can send it to you before joining the server. What would I like to play as? A soul reaper based would be preferable over others but also for extra challenge a hollow campagin could be fun if we can fighure out how to do it. why bleach over normal dnd? 1. why not, 2. bc I really like bleach. how long of a campaign do I want? Up to the dm and players but I'd like a longer campaign. what level to start on? id like to start at level 1 to take the steps of what you are gaining within the book and gain more of a understanding of the class or classes in the SB. Finally where can you contact me? Just dm here and ask, I want to know that I'm getting friended and not just randomly get a friend request and ignore it. 1, big thing I don't want is NO GEN AI AT ALL, please if you like using gen AI please don't bother, I don't want to see AI "art". 2, No homo, trans, or any other phobs, or isims, I won't take it and kick you out of the group myself. IF the group works well together I'd like to dm a Campaign of my own with the same group so if you're dming this campaign you can look forward to a campaign after we're done playing this one. Thank you for reading I hope to see someone or  multiple people ready to play. Blu UwU

A Thrilling Murder Mystery, Levels 4 - 6

Paid game
The Game Master charges a fee to run the game.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
You are a couple of seasoned travelers about to be dragged into something a lot more than you bargained for. This is a tale of emotion, terror, and tragedy; but also one of heroism, something the people of Neverwinter desperately need as they struggle against a serial killer. This short adventure goes from levels 4 - 6 for a party of 3 – 5 players. The game is designed to run anywhere between 4 – 8 sessions and focuses on mystery, horror, a decent amount of combat, and thrilling and dramatic roleplay! Session 0 is free, and we focus on expectations there, so everyone knows what they’re getting into.  Further Details and how to join here: https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmuss8jfq01dkl9043evcktv7?ref=cl364he035phabopk9zps3nif I have a few other games listed on my profile if this doesn't work; you can check that, and more information about me and my style here: https://startplaying.games/gm/627fe21745eac1ca56eb8f72
