At the edges of
Charnault lies the city of
Voros. High-walls and garrisons enclose enclaves of knights and the Headquarters of the
Company of Free Swords; a mercenary organization with its own bite and influence amongst the dangers and turmoil of Etharis. Contractors for coin, the Company sets out into the wilds battling foes of any kind, be them man or beast alike. You have found yourself just outside of Voros, at a Company encampment
answering a missive for 'warm bodies to seek criminals fleeing the Castinellan Province of Corova.' Simple enough.
Whatever your reasons, you have found yourself here, and have signed on to contract with
Deleth Brunn; a Company man, promising 30 gold for every man who lives long enough to seek the Castinellan fugitives, and return alive. Nearly a month's wage in one swift job.
Only a fool would say no.
