Description

System: DnD 5e 2014/2024 Platform: Discord + Roll20 Timezone: MST Schedule: Weekly 5pm MST ~4-5 hours Players needed: 4-5 Start date: TBD Age requirement: 18+ LGBTQ+ FRIENDLY! :) “Before the great glaciers covered the northern world for the last time, there was an age of legends now forgotten in the modern world. Cities of barbaric splendor and brooding ruins from prehuman times were scattered across the great isles of the north. This was the land of Thule, savage and spectacular, a world of wonders and terrors. And it lives now only in the darkest depths of prehistory and half-remembered glimmers of myth. Thule is an alternate Earth, a world in which legendary places and creatures once existed and magic, dark and mysterious, held power over young and superstitious humankind. Its civilizations arose in a warm and lush northern world, but were erased from history by the ten-thousand year reign of the vast ice sheets. This is the age of Atlantis and Lemuria, of serpentmen and savage beasts, of star-demons and sorcery. From this mythical time we draw our oldest stories of deadly monsters and bold heroes.” The land of Thule is barbaric, wild, and savage. The jungles are teaming with bloodthirsty predators, the flora and fauna belong to a crueler and more primitive age, and the peoples of the wilderness are just as savage as the beasts whose home they share. The worst are unspeakably vicious and bloodthirsty. Headhunters, cannibals, and degenerate primitives who worship inhuman monsters and eagerly torture or sacrifice any who fall into their hands. Its city states are wicked places, dens of greed, crime, and callousness. Slavery is widespread, and secretive cults dedicated to forbidden gods lurk in the shadows. Thule’s lands are mysterious, and its neighboring islands are largely unexplored. Vast jungles and forbidding mountains and glaciers deter all but the hardiest and most determined travelers, hiding many secrets: Abandoned cities, the strongholds of inhuman powers, foul temples, degenerate tribes, and hidden lands ruled by obscene monstrosities. One should be ready for anything in the wilderness of Thule. Its magic is a secret man was not meant to know. Occult learning is fantastically ancient, predating the rise of humankind. This ancient lore is dangerous in the extreme, and the most likely outcome of taking up arcane studies is a horrible and grisly doom. Priests initiated into the secrets of their god’s magic are rare individuals who belong to secretive and mysterious cabals. The gods are inscrutable, and priests jealously guard access to their power. Magic is such a dark and esoteric field of study, users of magic are rare. Enchanted swords and magical treasures are similarly rare—the great majority of Thuleans have never seen a magic item and would likely fear and shun anyone they knew to possess one. Ancient evils threaten mankind and the reign of humanity is new and fragile; older races such as serpentmen, rakshasas, or genies lurk in many places. Their realms and kingdoms have fallen into ruin, but these ancient creatures dream of reclaiming what was once theirs. They hate and resent humankind. The further back one travels, the more horrible and aberrant the ruling powers of the world become. A handful of Great Old Ones—entities as old as the Earth itself, or even older—lie dormant or imprisoned in the desolate places of the world. Its heroes are freebooters, mercenaries, and opportunists and this is an age of bold, brawling, larger-than-life heroes. Adventurers are defined by their ambitions; they hunger for gold, glory, and power. Great causes or noble crusades are all very well, but most of Thule’s itinerant adventurers are in it to get paid. If all of that sounds interesting and you are also into in a more OSR style game where we try and track resources a bit more carefully and take care to handle things with more tables and random rolls, while keeping things fast paced and pulpy. Then keep on reading! I would like to run through at least the first adventure from the Primeval Thule Campaign Setting by Sasquatch Game Studio. The setting has a quite a bit of flavor in regards to Races, Classes, Equipment, Gods, Magic that we will go over during a session 0 and character creation (there's also a bit of info in the Player Application if you are curious.). I would like 3-5 relatively mature adults, preferably a group, who can meet up periodically at least once a week during afternoons/evenings at about 4pm MST for about 4-5 hours. Ideally with a good mic and a quiet place to play with few distractions. Here Log in to view is the Player application and I hope to hear from yall. :) For more information here are a few relevant parts of the setting from the book. Sequence of The World- The Cycles of Eternity

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Combat focused
Fights, tactics and initiative take up most of the table time.
Hello my name is Cyn and I plan to run a brand new Homebrew campaign in the world of Terra, an entirely new realm of possibility and opportunity! Quick Campaign overview Schedule: Tbd with player availability, flexible!   Starting Level: the party shall begin at level 3 with standard starting equipment. Price: Free! There is no price to joining this campaign other than the time you choose to commit!   Setting: Full homebrew setting using the base rules of D&D 5e 2014 with no further alterations to the rules. Platform: Maps will be provided with Shard Tabletop and character sheets can either be managed within Shard Tabletop or D&D Beyond (whichever players prefer)! 6 Nations Fight for their Ambitions 6 Countries exist in the world of Terra, and each is ruled in part by a Deity that resides upon the earth instead of the heavens above. The Divine share the land with the mortals they reside over, and no other gods can be heard from the sky above. Below are short descriptions for each of the six nations:   -Revver is the land of eternity ruled over by Lillil, a sleeping Deity that forces the land to change in constant cycles of “curses” and “blessings”. The people of Revver have learned to make the most of their "blessed" time and to except and prepare for the "curses" that shall appear. You wake up from every dream and you have the ability to survive every nightmare.   -Fai’Ren is the land of nature and balance, a Country that Kai’Ren rules from the world tree at the very heart of his nation overseeing every trade, contract, and deal made within his borders. Kai'Ren is a part of nature within Fai'Ren, being the very soul of the forest and every tree, flower, and flora that makes up the massive kingdom, supporting his people with the lands themselves providing them protection, food, and guidance.    -New Demali always steps closer to a brand new age, being the land of progress and development with their Deity Dyak pushing them towards a new frontier at every given moment. Brilliance and innovation have led New Demali to become the most advanced Nation among the six, with no other Country able to match their advances or production scale.   -Coreaf brings law and order to an unjust world, with Aphys, the Deity of law, commanding the people of Coreaf to uphold justice in their lives above everything else. Not a single rule has been changed since the country's creation centuries ago, and like a mountain going throughout the ages of time, they stand unmoving.   -Rybek is the land of war and evolution, its people becoming more monstrous and savage as their Deity Synello continues his crusade across the rest of Terra. Adaptation and strength are the rules that govern Rybek, and any that do not show their worth are used to fuel the growth of the promising. -Seffia is the land of freedom, and the Country has not felt the presence of a deity for hundreds of years since Mildrin left. It is a land built and ruled by the humans that cultivated it and created a kingdom of their own. No mystical rules surround this place, no god deems who is worthy and who is not, and their is no main religion followed. The Beginning of The Journey The Campaign will start in the humble town of Igrithad, a small city that resides in the outskirts of Coreaf. The city Mayor William Wender requests the assistance of adventurers to explore the appearence of new Ruins that have appeared in the Ashkeeper peaks, ones that make strange noises and have even stranger inhabitants... Adventurers travel for all kinds of reasons, may it be a fresh start, an escape, or even a pursuit for glory. This is the first step on that path to greatness!    A Grand Mystery Spreads Across the World of Terra The world of Terra is about to enter a brand new age, and each of the six nations prepare for what is to come... Ruins of past ages appear out of thin air, crops erode and yield no bounty, and magic becomes a rarity to be born with when once it was commonplace. Many questions plague the populace's minds but the powerful provide no answers. Because the world refuses to release its secrets, it is up to brave adventurers to find the truth among the lies!     Joining the World of Terra Each player character that joins the world of Terra shall be personally interconnected with one of the six nations as well as the overarching narrative of the story, giving life to the player characters and their goals throughout a growing narrative! Nations ebb and flow and alliances grow or wane, pushing character dynamics as well as their place within the world constantly in an ever expanding story!   An Entirely New Magical Item System The World of Terra hides secrets from ages past, ages that contain magic never seen by the world as it stands today. An entirely new magic system called The Runes shall be incorporated into the world after the completion of the first quest, bringing an entirely fresh, impactful, and customizable way to empower your character! While I do not wish to spoil the mechanics behind The Rune System if you have any questions or concerns i shall do my best to answer them! Questions and Interest in Joining! If you have any questions about the campaign or the world of Terra feel free to DM me on either Discord or Groupfinder. As said at the beginning the schedule is flexible and it will be the day that best works for the majority of players joining. I look forward to starting a brand new adventure with those interested in the fantasy world of Terra!

Paid game

Horror
The game leans into fear, tension and dark themes.
The mists are calling. Will you answer? There is a land where the sun has forgotten how to shine, where the dead seldom rest, and where every whispered prayer may be answered by something far worse than the gods. Welcome to Barovia. Beyond the choking mists, ancient evils stir. The villagers bar their doors against the night, wolves stalk the forgotten roads, and somewhere high above it all, a dark lord watches from his castle. But something is changing. Old prophecies are stirring. Strange signs mark the heavens. And the threads of fate are being drawn tighter around those unfortunate enough to wander into this cursed domain. In Barovia, death is not always the end. Sometimes, it is merely the beginning. Curse of Strahd: The Devil Ascendant is a reimagined journey into Ravenloft, weaving classic gothic horror, psychological terror, dark mysteries, and unexpected twists into a campaign where your choices carry consequences—and not every monster is what it seems. Whether you are a veteran of Ravenloft or entering the mists for the very first time, do not expect the familiar to remain familiar. CAMPAIGN DETAILS System: D&D 5E (2014 Rules) When: Sundays, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM Eastern (GMT-4) Where: Roll20 & Discord Session Length: 4 hours Cost: $25 CDN per session (Reduced to $10 CDN until January 1st, 2027) The mists have opened. A place awaits you at the table. Come willingly, adventurer. Barovia has never needed an invitation to claim its guests. After all, the Devil knows your name. Will you live long enough to learn his?

A dark archipelago of dangerous waters, unforgiving weather, and ruthless people, ruled by a cold and powerful Empress. The realm fell into despair when a deadly plague known as the "Sanguine Mist" or simply the “Red Mist” as it’s known colloquially, swept over the dark waters, causing a painful and gruelling end as symptoms include; visible, bright red veins, frequent bleeding from nose, mouth, or eyes, fragile skin that bruises and cuts easily, oddly liquid looking pupils and most notably, the constant coughing and hacking up a bloody, crimson mist that eventually causes the infected to suffocate, before reanimating their corpse as a mindless, siren-like zombie. Life here is tough, but the people are tougher, and there’s been an odd sense of routine that has formed since the first signs of the infection. Many make their living hauling or pilfering parts of the dead and dying, and while a vague sense of normalcy has returned, there remain a few who continue to search for a cure.
