Description

The Great Galactic war is over. At least, on paper. In the uneasy years following the Treaty of Coruscant, Balmorra stands as one of the galaxy’s most bitterly contested worlds. Captured by the Sith Empire after the Republic was forced to retreat from the planet's surface, the planet’s abundant minerals and factories now churn out weapons, droids and supplies for Imperial war fleets, while its people live under curfews, surveillance, and the constant presence of Sith overseers. Officially, the war is over. On Balmorra, it never truly ended. The Empire’s iron grip is purchased through military governors, Sith apprentices and minor lords hungry for prestige and advancement, and collaborators promised safety in exchange for obedience. But concealed within the margins of the official imperial census and hidden beneath the watchful eyes of Imperial intelligence and Sith alike, the fight for Balmorra continues, carried on by those who remember what freedom felt like, and who are willing to fight, and die for it. They are outgunned, fractured, and hunted, but they are not broken. Players will join this secret war, be they Republic intelligence, Jedi, Resistance members, Smugglers, Bounty Hunters or even turncoats from the Empire, a shared camaraderie binds all together. Missions will decide the fate of supplies, prototype weapons, and entire districts. Every success brings the dawn a little bit closer, while failure may finally allow the Sith Empire to choke the life out of Balmorra. This is a resistance based campaign inspired by Andor set in the time of the Old Republic, played on the Star Wars 5e System!  Game Details: Session Time: Tuesdays, 8PM EST System: SW5E  Party Size: 3-5  $20 Weekly on Startplaying

Ever since I picked up that DMG 16 years ago, running and playing TTRPGs have been my primary passion! I love nothing more than developing and exploring the worlds and stories I build with my players.

Looking to run a Fantasy game in the world of Faerun shaped by the players joining, deeply connecting the player backstories towards the overall setting and narrative! The journey shall begin in the Sword Coast, a place brimming with opportunity for those sharp enough to spot it, or for those opportunistic enough to steal it! Adventure lurks behind every isle that spreads across the deep oceanic expanse, a whisper inside every tavern foretelling the coming of doom, and monstrous noises can often be heeded from outside the sanctuaries of human settlements... And most important of all... Treasure can be found in the most dangerous of places, and danger is everywhere!    The BBEG and forces of evil will be directly linked to the players, leading to an exciting as well as personal experience tailor made for those looking for deep stories full of intrigue, emotional moments of triumph, as well as the good running joke that unites everyone together!  Will you be an escaped drow from Menzoberranzan, searching for refuge and a place to call home among compainions. A ruthless assassin from Waterdeep, a tongue as silver as the thin daggers you weild to great effect. A city guard from Baldurs Gate that wishes to explore the greater world, not letting the titanic walls confine your adventuerer spirit any longer! The world is open and excepting of adventuerers from all backgrounds and walks of life!  For those interested in joining share a potential player character you would like to bring life to! A simple idea can blossom into a beautiful tale, so dont be afraid to share an idea we can build upon together with further details about the world and its inhabitants!  If this sounds interesting to you or if you have any further questions please feel free to send me a message on Groupfinder or on Discord, or a message to gringo1380 who shall be the DM for this campaign! "A real sense of a world and a story to explore" - current player review More reviews at https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmn29jth10031jy047qj8r5o0 Pick up your guns, and save the Material Plane! - Blast your way through a dying D&D weird west, with new firearm-themed magic items, spells, and subclasses - Fight an enigmatic cult, set on making the apocalypse even worse - Track down mysterious tarot cards and solve the puzzle of creation - Prevent (or abet!) an inter-planar jailbreak - Mind Flayer Train Heist Hear what Jacob the DM has to say about Spireward Bound at https://youtu.be/8lGXO76AeW8 At the centre of the Great Wheel lies the Material Plane, and at the centre of the Material Plane is Sigil. A flying city of portals, the City of Doors has closed. The gods have decreed that The Reckoning has come and the Material Plane's time is over. All that is left now is the Endlands, immeasurable leagues of sunless wastes, fled by all who can escape to the Outer Planes. But something else moves in the shadows. Might there be something worse than the end of the Material Plane after all? In this mash-up of Planescape and Stephen King's Dark Tower epic, you will explore a reality moving on, discover the secrets of its creation, and decide its fate once and for all. Your heroes have come together from across D&D's time and space to a land of sunless light, unpredictable magic, and guns. Lots of guns. Let's hope you're quick on the draw. Built for players with all levels of experience, Spireward Bound follows a semi-episodic structure. Every few sessions, your characters are confronted with a new, exciting situation on your journey, each of which is designed for open-ended adventure. Our adventure is underway, but there's room at the fireside for more travelers! The posse are level 12 and consists of: 🐎 Potra Equidos, Centaur Paladin and entertainer, dedicated to Kelemvor. Always the first to charge in with battle axe and shotgun, but never sure we're going the right way. ✊ Jasir al-Sahir, Drow Monk/Warlock, newly undead and struggling with the competing influence of Dabus 19 and the Frontier Flames. A increasingly erratic investigator with a hound at his side. 🐲 Fin, Kobold Rogue and seasoned bounty hunter. A little guy with a big job, eager to track down the Herald. In pursuit of the Justice Tarot and worried about growing danger to the Endlands, they find themselves planning to hijack a Mind Flayer train!

The mists hide a world plundged into darkness for centuries. A dark lord has control of this cursed land. Those who are strong can escape the mists. Hello all, I am Michael.  I am starting a new campaign playing within the world of Ravenloft. This a gothic horror story that is traumatic and a fun time. This is a roleplay heavy campaign with intense combat encounters and plenty of chances for exploration. This is my third time running the campaign and I am excited to see what a new group of adventurers will make of this land.  This is good campaign to start your D&D journey as it starts at low levels and you learn as we play. So if you enjoy a fun and scary time at the virtual table then this is the game for you. Gothic Horror, High Fantasy, and Eldritch Horrors Level 1-10, with possibilities of higher levels depending on the game Go from ragtag adventurers. Unravel villain motivations, fend off living and undead threats that haunt the land, and confront one of the most famous villains. Strahd Von Zarovich. This campaign uses the best of the plot lines of Curse of Strahd: Reloded rounded out with additional materials, and characters backstories. To join this campaign, or if you're looking for other long-term adventures for D&D 5e campaigns to have a good time in.
