In the world of Thedas many great civilizations have been lost to the blight of darkspawn and the destructive power of foul magic. Many of those are the ancient dwarven Great Thaigs, all but lost to the anals of history two great ones persisting without interruption of their defiant existence against the power of darkness.
In the aftermath of The Fifth Blight, many are seeking to make a great push, a symbolic gesture to rekindle the hope of beating back the darkness.
This hope has driven Her Majesty, The Divine Beatrix III, to commission and expedition to recover and reestablish one of The Great Thaigs: Dramallon, the fabled dwarven city of gold.
Adventurers from all across Thedas are flocking to Orlais seeking to gain membership in the adventuring company of Dexter Dramallon, one of the last living descendants of the name sake paragon of the golden city.
Whispers abound of glory and gold that await those who make it to the ancient city, but dangers abound in the Deep Roads, and none who have sought the city have returned without tremendous loss of sanity and even their own life.
