Hi, I'm Patchwork. I'm a 20-something geek who enjoys spending his time on various TTRPGs. My previous group fell apart due to scheduling issues, as most do, so I'm here looking for something new! I'm mostly into the roleplaying aspect of tabletop games, I enjoy immersing myself in whatever character and world I'm put into, and bouncing off party hijinks! I usually put a lot of effort and a decent amount of writing into my characters and their backstories, but I usually do that as a creative writing exercise, and never expect a DM to know it front-to-back (I always put a summarization/TL;DR first). But if you do, all the better! In terms of systems and experience with VTTs, you can already see what systems I've looked into/played, and I've gamed a bunch in Roll20 and Foundry, so I'll have no issues navigating either of those VTTs. But if you have something new, I'm always willing to learn! As for the kind of games I'm looking for, I've been playing Fantasy for quite a long time now, and I'm hoping to get into some Sci-fi settings, and trying out systems in that niche. Hi, I'm Speeda! I've got about 9-10 months of experience on DND, and I've spent a lot of it flipping between both player and dungeon master. Because of this, I've learned how annoying it is for a dm to not hear from a player, and how important it is to work with a dm to make the experience great as a player. I will never ghost or ignore you outright, and if I'm not responding for a while, there's a big reason why that you'll be hearing whenever it's possible for me to tell you. In dnd, I value creativity heavily. Hey there! I'm looking to find two games to join, Werewolf the Apocalypse 20th Edition and Mage the Ascension 20th edition: Either with the same group for both or a different group for each! I'm a pretty well experienced rpg player in general, but especially for WoD's lore and systems! I've got plenty of experience with Werewolf, but this would be my first time getting to play Mage. I've played for a total of about 1 1/2 years, with 2 oneshots, a short campaign, and am playing a long-term campaign that's recently passed its 1 year anniversary, which has gone from level 1 to currently level 11 and I've loved every minute of it. My name is Cross I am a 25 year old Intermediate D&D 5e / 5.5 player looking for a solid campaign to join. I like a good mix of roleplay and combat, and I tend to get really into the lore and worldbuilding of a setting. I enjoy making characters that actually fit the world and story, and I like engaging with what the DM has put together. I enjoy building strong, effective characters, but I still care a lot about roleplay and party balance. I can fit into pretty much any group tone — serious, casual, or somewhere in between — and I usually try to match the vibe of the table. I just like feeling like I’m part of the world and the story. I’m pretty reliable schedule-wise and looking for a group that wants someone who’s actually invested in the campaign. ABOUT ME I've been hosting regular games with great success since 1993 back when I started DMing at my 7th grade school lunch table full of friends.. I remember recruiting players out of The Red Dragon Inn on AOL for impromptu instant messenger Dragonlance games back in the day. I am 44 years old now and I have never really NOT been a DM of a D&D group pretty much my entire life. I am a forever DM and I've been doing it on Roll20 for over 7 years now! As a community service I admin some of the largest dungeon master help groups on facebook. I still know how to use THAC0. In my opinion, 3.5 is NOT the greatest edition. I've even written a few award winning dmsguild modules that are making their rounds and have recently released my first Shadowrun adventure on DrivethruRPG. I'm ultimately a chill dude. When not doing the D&D thing I'm a rock n roll union musician who has donated 20 years of life towards helping out schools with computer network issues. I am a 67-year-old retired gamer who first played AD&D back in 1979. I’ve been fanatically playing games of all sorts since my infancy. That obsession extended itself to computer games starting with the Apple II and Commodore 64 days, and I’ve spent much of my life addicted to computer games. I managed the largest volume game store in Canada for over a decade. Over the last 15 years or so, I have been returning more and more to my tabletop RPG roots. I am a tactical wargamer at heart, especially given my decades in martial arts, including 7 years of SCA sword fighting, but I can appreciate a good story and strong roleplaying. I am constitutionally incapable of playing evil characters and would have a hard time with players who do, or who otherwise run lone-wolf murder-hobos. I enjoy a cooperative team dynamic of good-aligned characters, though they don’t have to be lily-white without any flaws. I tend to play clerics or tanks, but I’m quite flexible. My personal preference is for long-term campaigns that run from level 1 all the way past 20th level. I’ve played in two such campaigns in the last decade, each lasting six years. That said, I’m also happy to join shorter adventures or games with more limited horizons. I play decently competent characters, but I am not a min-max powergamer. I’m an old-school player and won’t always remember newer pronoun conventions, but I am a strong believer in personal freedom. I have no issues with how you live your life, so long as you have none with me. Let’s keep politics off the table and focus on what brings us together around the game.

iv done tabletop with friends before and always was the GM. i even tried to run my own textbased game but could never keep those alive, people eventually just stopped responding even after multiple reminders its their turn in combat. so im looking to be a player this time instead. im fine with both roll20 and discord text play or a öove gameplay deal over roll 20 or similar sites. the three characters i can for DND offer are: -a kobold demolitionist (comic relief obsessed with explosives. this guy would use a more explosives focused subclass for artificer i found on reddit if thats ok with your game) -a tribal tabaxi guy with spear who moves fast and haresses enemies in melee (this character is very cruel and would be only suited to serious games) -a harengon geomancer (this guy would only use earth and stone themed spells and im partial to reflavoring existing spells as earth ones) for other settings i usually have one character per setting. NOTE: im not interested in character creation involving rolled stats i dont like rng deciding my stats i prefer pointbuy.

I prefer mysteries and dark tones, so an Age of Umbra Daggerheart, Alien or Vaesen game works for me. Brindlewood Bay also hits my liking (it is not an option on the list). I have a lot of experience with Daggerheart if you need someone to also bounce ideas off of. Intermiediate experience with Vaesen and only played the Starter Set of Alien. I would love to try Brindlewood Bay (or any other mystery/detective system). My name is Joshua and my wife's name is Ilaina. We are a married couple parents of two children looking for an online DnD group. We are not too picky about version though it seems like 5e 2024 is best suited for our newbie status. We have some limited experience. A few years back I downloaded digital versions of the rule book and put together a whole world full of religions, gods, factions, cities, supporting characters, villains etc.We played 1 on 1 with me as DM and my wife as a player. However this quickly became unsatisfying. I spent exponentially more hours prepping than we spent playing and my wife being new felt kind of overwhelmed to be essentially making all the decisions on her own. Now we want to get back in. Ideally we would play on weekends but during the week could potentially work too after our older child goes to bed. We really aren't in a position to pay for sessions, and aren't really interested. While we know the effort required to organize these things isn't small we are moreso looking for a group of online friends and paying for games feels counterproductive to that goal. That doesn't mean we wouldn't necessarily be willing to pitch in on any supplies or resources that could improve the game experience for everyone.
