I'm Toast, a player with 5 years of D&D experience spanning both sides of the screen — I've DMed multiple campaigns including a fully original homebrew setting, and I've played in several others. I know how much work goes into running a good game, and I respect that deeply as a player. I'm currently specifically looking for a Curse of Strahd campaign. I'm completely unspoiled — never played it, never read it, only know the name Strahd von Zarovich. I want the full experience completely fresh. As a player I'm a hybrid — I engage deeply with roleplay AND tactical combat, and I combine both at the table. I describe my actions in detail, speak in character during encounters, and react genuinely to story beats. I have a background in creative writing and am an aspiring voice actor with training, so character voice and presence are things I take seriously. I play on open camera and I'm expressive — you'll always know exactly how I'm feeling about what's happening at the table. I invest heavily in my characters. I don't just build mechanics, I build people with psychological depth, consistent motivations and genuine emotional stakes. I'm also highly collaborative — I'd rather work with my DM before session zero to make sure my character serves the story and creates interesting dynamics than show up with something rigid that doesn't fit. I'm UTC+2, and am flexible with scheduling, besides saturdays and fridays, as I am DMing a session on one and am playing in another. every other day I am available though.]
