Description

Hello There!  I'm Liam/Psychic (He/Him 24). I've been DMing for almost a decade starting back when I took theater classes in high school, shocker I know. We've recently had one our players go MIA and last time that happened we started a new campaign, so sticking with tradition, here we are with TYRANNY OF DRAGONS! As a big fan of the Forgotten Realms and all it's weirdness and an old head of 5th edition, I saw no better campaign than the really long two-parter that needs a lot of tender loving care to smooth out those bumps and make Prince out of the Frog! I'm a DM that tries his best to put character and cool stuff first. Rule of cool is mostly the name of the game and I tend to throw physics out the window, I grew up on DBZ, Yugioh, and Mecha so your barbarian destroying a figment of the moon to weaken the water elemental or rolling a nat 20 so you can break the adamantine golem by punching it really really hard is gonna go the way you think it will. With all my campaigns we're going for a character first mentality, I'm not interested in people who want to play a build with a few character bits stapled! For our excursion into Tyranny of Dragons we'll be starting with Dragons of Stormwreck Isle, mostly because of its simple premise, separation from the sword coast, and it good at getting the dragon stuff going early since this is nearly 15 year old adventure's major villain, y'know the cult of Tiamat isn't going to be a surprise to anyone. It's like trying to spoil the Odyssey, we all know good ol' Ody gets home and goes to town killing those suitors. For the premise, you all will be 1st level adventurers leaving from a port in Neverwinter and heading to Stormwreck Isle, aboard the Lahmu, a large shipping vessel, delivering the monthy shipment of goods to Dragon's Rest, a haven for the world-weary and those in need of safety or new beginnings. Despite the legends of prosperity the island holds, the cracks have began to form, as the undead plague the coast and ancient evils seek to return, threatening to turn the island simple misfortune to its destruction. It's up to you all to brave the dangers ahead and save the isle from ruin! If you're up to the task, feel free to fill out the linked Application Below! Our plan is to meet up on the 9th and send out invites then. Thanks for showing interest in our humble little game and good luck! Log in to view

I wasn't finding enough games to join that had everything I needed and that would also get back to me. So, I decided I'd try to find the right people for me this way! Hello, I am Grill! I am a silly gal and you can find some basic info about me in my player profile ^^ I am not the GM, and I am willing to let the future GM have full creative freedom for the story. All I ask is that the campaign we do be suitable for both teens and adults. And please let me be able to be silly and whimsical! Perhaps a fairy!!! Homebrew is very much allowed!

Elaria: Breaking the Chains Elaria is a land of powerful kingdoms, ancient magic, and prosperity built upon slavery. Humans, orcs, beastkin, prisoners, and countless others are bought and sold while those in power grow wealthy from their suffering. Within the slaves social circle classes have been established, the house slaves see themselves as better then those who work the grounds and so on. The party begins as ordinary adventurers with no army, rebellion, or grand destiny. But as they travel across Elaria and witness the cruelty of its kingdoms, they will have opportunities to fight back. You will not start in a inn or town, it will be a suprise Freeing a few slaves can become rescuing a village. A rescued village can become allies. Allies can become soldiers and soldiers can become a rebellion. The players will build that rebellion themselves—recruiting allies, establishing bases, gathering resources, liberating territory, and deciding how far they are willing to go to end slavery. Eventually, Elaria's kings will learn their names. The only question is whether history will remember them as heroes, rebels, or something far more dangerous.

Fights, tactics and initiative take up most of the table time.
Hello all, I'm Jon the DM and we're looking for players local to Indianapolis to join our new Planescape campaign. I'm a seasoned DM of 15 years, currently in my 30s looking for like minded players to round out our group. Our group is a cluster of folks in their 30s whose DnD experience varies across the board.  I tend to run narrative/character driven games regardless of the setting or system punctuated by high stakes and action with time for RP throughout. I craft and 3D print my own terrain and minis, and my lovely girlfriend is usually the painter but I'm working to improve! We're looking to play biweekly, Sundays from 12-6pm every other Sunday. I'll host at my home on the East side of Indianapolis. Feel free to reach out with any questions, looking forward to hearing from you! The Game Pitch: Plucked from the Prime, you find your very existence questioned in the balance of the Cosmic Wheel. What you believe doesn't just change your mind, it changes the Planes. You wake up in Sigil, the City of Doors, a floating metropolis built on the inside of a massive ring hovering above infinity. Here at the center of all things, every angel, demon, and philosophy has a doorstep. Each alleyway contains a door to a different plane of existence, if you have the key. And berk, you don't know the dark of it!         Tone/Inspiration: Disco Elysium, Kill Six Billion Demons, Neverwhere, Labyrinth, Planescape: Torment (duh)
