Overview

Cyberpunk RED is the fourth edition of the a tabletop role-playing game system published by R. Talsorian Games in 2020. The story takes place in the near-future of 2045 following the events of the Fourth Corporate War. The period for the game's storyline is named the "Time of the Red" due to atmospheric pollution. The system it directly evolved from is
Cyberpunk 2020
Description Players in the game are referred to as "Edgerunners". They are mercenaries, criminals, and specialists living in the metropolis of Night City. The games focus on completing jobs and surviving in a megacorporations and street gangs controlled society. As the global supply chain has collapsed, resources are scarce and players must often rely on black-market brokers, known as Fixers, to find their equipment, weapons, and armor. Cybernetic body modifications are a recurring topic in the game, with the emphasis on the risks of enhancing one's body and mind with. System Overview & Key Features
Core Dice Mechanic (Interlock System) The game uses a Interlock System. An action's success is determined with a a ten-sided die (d10) and adding the relevant Statistic and Skill rating. The total is compared against a Difficulty Value (DV).
Lifepath Generation When creating a character, the player can either roll or manually pick various options from the "Lifepath" tables. The choices made will define the character's cultural background, their family history, romantic relationships, and potential enemies. This is a built-in method of creating an immersive and entangled character backstory.
Roles and Special Abilities Characters are defined by their "Role," which is a the game's class system. Players have a choice between ten different roles: Solo (combat specialist), Netrunner (hacker), and Medtech (doctor). Every role has their unique Special Ability which gives them unique gameplay mechanics.
Combat and Armor Combat in Cyberpunk RED relies heavily on their body armor rather than high hit point totals. If an attack successfully penetrates a character's armor, the armor's defensive rating is permanently lowered by one point. This mechanic makes extended combat encounters dangerous and forces players to consider alternative approaches.
Netrunning The game's hacking rules require Netrunners to be physically close to the computer systems they want to breach. In the setting, the global internet was destroyed, meaning remote hacking is no longer possible.
Cyberware and Humanity Players can install cybernetic implants into their characters to gain new abilities or improve their stats. Every implant reduces a character's Humanity, which subsequently lowers their Empathy . If a character's Humanity reaches zero, they develop a condition called Cyberpsychosis. This generally results in the player permanently losing control of their character and no longer being able to play them.

Hey there, everyone. So my normal session got canceled this upcoming week, but I am itching for too much for some cyberpunk to not roll some dice. So here is the Gig, you are in the middle of a bank heist in the Glen, that is most certainly turning out to be more than it seems. What do you fight for, and will you get to the end, or will this be where your story ends? You’ll make a Calculated option for a character on the Cyberpunk Red companion, starting with 5k total eddies to spend and 1,000 IP to spend after creation as well (Or you can ask me to build the idea for you if new, and I can guide you through the steps). Additionally, this will be run on Foundry, which is my first time in the DM seat on Foundry compared to Roll20, so there may be occasional hiccups in that regard, but it’ll be a good test on my end. Lastly, we will incorporate some house rules into the game and give a quick rundown at the start of how they will be used (Examples: Akimbo replacing Autofire as a 2x skill, Netrunner revised, and Armor rules). You don’t have to memorize them since it’s just a one-shot, and I can handle the necessary adjustments. Intro Scene: Rain falls between corporate skyscrapers as AVs drift overhead, a giant holo-ad on a nearby tower flickers: “Your Future, Your Security. Your Trust”. As traffic crawls through the streets below, no one seems to notice the armored van pulling into the bank’s underground parking structure, no one hears the encrypted call that just ended, and no one knows that today… Today is going to be a really special day. I am mostly looking for a space type campaign. Migh thave to relearn some rules but i have some gist and past experience how to play the game. I really wanna play dnd again so if anyone has a open table for me i am accepting. Perferably would like to be at a table with 21+ players. Hopping to join in a space themed campaign i already have ideas for what character i wanna use. I'm an adult, with access to a few books online on roll or can gain acccess other places. I really wanna play dnd based off of Neon Odyssey or The world of IOS if you know what those are, exploring some maybe campaings based in space. But i am not limited to that i would be down for some classsic fantasy. Exploring and maybe some one offs. I'm very comfortable with playing with anyone but be sure to tell me about yourself the table rules and give me your red flags.

Hello. I have been playing D&D 5e for 2 years, looking for a weekly game whether in 5e or 5.5e. Preferably evenings in the weekends, as I am available after 6 PM EST. Definitely can commit to a consistent weekly game night provided that if 1) IRL does not throw a wrench my way or 2) game is canceled.  I enjoy a game where it is combat focused, in no way I am against roleplaying, could mix it up between the two. I am okay with character death, and games whether its homebrew, or official or games converted from different modules. My favorite class to play is the fighter and my go to favorite is the cavalier, a classic knight on horse subclass that defends his party and lives by his own code.

Foundry Virtual Tabletop (Foundry VTT)

Virtual tabletop (VTT)

Paid
Foundry VTT is a self-hosted, modern virtual tabletop application that revolutionized the digital RPG space upon its release in 2020. Developed by Andrew Clayton, it recently celebrated its five-year anniversary with the launch of Version 13. Unlike its subscription-based competitors, Foundry provides a powerful, high-performance environment that runs in a web browser while giving the Game Master total control over their data and hosting. It is widely considered the "Gold Standard" for power users and tactical GMs. Description Foundry VTT is built on modern web technologies (Node.js and WebGL), allowing for hardware-accelerated visuals that outclass almost any other browser-based platform. It is a "buy-once, own-forever" product where the GM hosts the server locally or via a cloud service, and players connect for free through their browser. Its true strength lies in its modularity; with thousands of community-made modules, a GM can transform the software from a simple dice roller into a fully automated, cinematic video-game-like experience. System Overview & Key Features One-Time Purchase Model There are no monthly fees or feature gating. Once you buy a license, you own the software and all future core updates. You can host an unlimited number of players, and they never have to pay a cent to join your games. Dynamic Lighting and Vision Foundry's lighting engine is best-in-class. It supports per-token vision, "fog of war" that persists between sessions, and complex light sources (like flickering torches or pulsing magical orbs) that interact realistically with walls and doors in real-time. Extensive Module Library The community has created over 2,000 free modules that add everything from "3D Dice" and "Animated Weather" to "Automated Combat" that handles math, resistance, and condition tracking automatically when a player rolls an attack. V13 "ApplicationV2" UI The 2025/2026 updates introduced a reimagined user interface. It is faster, more accessible, and allows for much better window management, reducing the "screen clutter" that previously plagued the software during complex sessions. Self-Hosting and Data Privacy Because you host the server, your maps, character sheets, and campaign notes are stored on your own hardware (or your chosen cloud provider). You aren't reliant on a third-party company's servers staying online to access your game. Massive System Support While it is famous for its "premium" level support for Pathfinder 2e and D&D 5e, Foundry supports over 200 different RPG systems, many of which feature official, high-quality modules from publishers like Free League and Paizo. Worldbuilding
Free
VVD is a visually driven world-building and campaign management platform launched in 2024. Created by an independent developer, it positions itself as a streamlined, "distraction-free" alternative to complex wikis like World Anvil. In 2025, the platform gained massive popularity on social media for its "clean UI" and its strict No-AI pledge, promising that all art and assets on the platform are created by human artists.  Description VVD is built for the "sparks of inspiration." It uses a card-based system to organize NPCs, locations, and magic items, allowing users to connect them visually through an interactive graph. Unlike traditional folder-heavy organizers, VVD feels like a digital corkboard or a personalized Wikipedia that prioritizes aesthetics and ease of use. It is a web-based tool, meaning it requires an internet connection, but it is highly optimized for mobile devices, making it a favorite for GMs who need to jot down world-building notes on the go. System Overview & Key Features The Infinite Canvas VVD features a spatial "Canvas" mode where users can drag and drop their lore cards to create mind maps. This allows you to visually plot out character relationships, political factions, or historical timelines, with lines and labels connecting each element in a fluid, non-linear way. Interactive Map Pins Users can upload high-resolution maps and place interactive pins that link directly to lore cards. If a player visits a new town, the GM can click the pin to instantly pull up the town’s description, NPCs, and local rumors without searching through a menu. Auto-Linking Wiki System The platform automatically recognizes the names of your lore cards within your writing. If you mention a specific character in a location description, VVD will create a hyperlink to that character's card automatically, ensuring your world remains interconnected and easy to navigate. Human-Artist Focus In a direct response to industry trends, VVD has built its brand on supporting human creativity. They pledge 10% of their revenue to supporting real artists and feature a marketplace of hand-drawn assets, ensuring the platform remains a haven for traditional and digital illustrators. Quill (Story Writing Tool) New for 2026, "Quill" is an integrated manuscript editor. It allows authors to write their novels or campaign guides side-by-side with their lore cards, enabling them to reference character stats or world history in a split-screen view while they draft. Publishable World Wikis Paid users can turn their private world-building into a "public wiki" with a single click. This generates a sleek, readable website that GMs can share with their players or authors can share with their readers to show off their setting's depth and art.
