D&D Beyond

Greetings fellow DnD-ers located in the Sydney, Australia area! This is a preliminary post to gain traction for the DnD 5e/5.5e one-shots I will be hosting at Forestville RSL (22 Melwood Ave) in the Northern Beaches area of Sydney, AUS. The tentative first session date is 18 May, 2026. Games will run from 6-10pm. A maximum of 5 people per game. Information about the specific module will be shared closer to the start date.  About me, the DM: I started playing DnD ~1 year ago and jumped into the role of Dungeon Mistress a couple of months after that. I've run one short campaign to completion and attempted a longer campaign with a different group, but discontinued that game due to a mismatch of player and DM expectations. I respect the DnD system as the mechanical, combat-oriented system it is and hope to reflect that in how manage my games. My purpose for starting up these bi-weekly games is to generate a DnD community/presence within the Northern Beaches area as it's a bit of a dead zone for this kind of thing.  These sessions are free to play. Just be respectful to me, the other players, and the space.  Until we meet, keep on adventuring!

Hi everyone! I am a life long DM looking to get back into the game after a two year hiatus, but now I need some awesome players to help bring my story to life! I would prefer players with some amount of experience but the most important thing is to love the game and be invested in making some new friends to have fun with! If you are not interested in role playing and working together to create a richer narrative than this might not be the group for you. The story I have in mind takes place in the Moonshae Isles of the Forgotten Realms, we will be using published content as a baseline but this will be a homebrew world so changes will be made from the official canon. The Moonshaes are a fantastic land filled with inspiration from Irish mythology and Arthurian legend so you can expect lots of political intrigue and Fey nonsense lol. I'm ideally looking for people who would be interested in collabortively building their characters with me to fit the setting so that I can then write the story around them, but if you have a concept in mind you are dying to use I am open to adapting them into our setting. Lastly the campaign will be on a weekly basis, every Tuesday at 4pm PST. I am somewhat flexible on the timing so we can discuss further once we get the group together.
