D&D Beyond

Overview

D&D Beyond is the official digital toolset for
Dungeons & Dragons https://groupfinder.eu/library/dungeons-dragons-55e-2024
, originally launched in 2017 and acquired by Wizards of the Coast in 2022. It serves as the primary ecosystem for the 5th Edition ruleset and the updated 2024 "5.5e" core rules. In 2026, the platform is undergoing a massive "Game Platform" rebuild, moving away from its original hard-coded architecture to a data-driven engine. This allows the platform to support more complex customization and the new "Season" based content release model introduced this year. Description D&D Beyond is the definitive "companion app" for D&D. It combines a high-speed character builder, a digital library of all official sourcebooks, and a native 2D virtual tabletop called Maps. The platform is designed to be the easiest way to play the game, handling all calculations, spell slots, and inventory management automatically. With the 2026 "Season of Horror" and "Season of Magic" updates, it has become a living platform that delivers monthly content drops and themed community events directly to player character sheets. System Overview & Key Features
The 2026 Game Engine Rebuild Wizards of the Coast is currently rebuilding the backend of D&D Beyond from the ground up. This move allows the site to finally support highly requested features like custom classes, complex homebrew non-magical equipment, and more responsive rules validation that doesn't rely on legacy code from 2017.
The Maps VTT The integrated 2D virtual tabletop is now free for all users to host games as of late 2025. It features "Quickplay Maps" for all official adventures, allowing GMs to launch a session with pre-placed tokens and fog of war. New "Reveals" functionality lets GMs share high-resolution gallery art and monster lore directly to players' screens during play.
New "Quickbuilder" Flow To improve onboarding, the 2026 character builder features an "art-forward" Quickbuilder mode. It guides players through the most impactful decisions—like subclass and background—while using optimized defaults for smaller details, allowing a new hero to be ready for play in under five minutes.
Content Sharing (Master Tier) The Master Tier subscription remains the most popular for groups. It allows a single user to share their entire digital library—including the new 2026 Ravenloft: The Horror Within and Arcana Unleashed books—with up to 12 players across five different campaigns.
Legacy vs Core Toggles Following community feedback, the platform now features robust toggles to enable or disable "Legacy" (2014) content. This ensures that groups can choose to stick strictly to the 2024 rules or mix in older subclasses and spells without the interface becoming cluttered or confusing.
Digital/Physical Integration Most new 2026 book releases now feature a "Physical + Digital" bundle. When you buy a hardcover from the official store, you receive an instant unlock code for D&D Beyond, ensuring your character builder and digital library are updated before the physical book even arrives in the mail.

Adult Player Wanted for Light Hearted, One Shot–Focused TTRPG Group We’re looking to add adult players to our long running, relaxed gaming group! Experience is absolutely not required—just bring curiosity, a willingness to join in, and a sense of humor. What We Play We play a wide range of systems and genres—classic fantasy quests, chaotic goblin nonsense, supernatural westerns, sci fi mysteries, and plenty more.   Our group leans toward short adventures and one shots rather than long campaigns. It keeps things fresh, lets everyone try new characters and playstyles, and avoids long term commitment burnout.   We do play D&D 5.5e the most, but we love trying new systems. Our Vibe We keep things light, fun, and low pressure. No rules lawyering, no perfectionism—just a bunch of adults hanging out and having a good time. • Mechanics stay simple and easy to grasp (rules are a guide) • Bold risks and silly ideas are encouraged (let’s see how we can make that happen) • Romance fades to black • Gore stays reasonable (…though someone did carry around a decapitated head once) • We respect everyone’s triggers (one player is terrified of spiders) Inclusivity Matters We are proudly LGBTQIA+ friendly and want players who feel the same. We do not tolerate homophobia, transphobia, racism, or sexism. We also avoid political debates—this is a space to relax, not stress. When & Where Every other Saturday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. EST We play on Zoom and use dndbeyond.com when playing D&D. Want to Join Us? Check out our website to learn more: DORCS.US If the vibe feels right, reach out—we’d love to chat with you on Zoom and see if we’re a good fit.

Im running a classic homebrew dnd campaign where you'll get to adventure throughout the realms as the world changes around you. There is a "main" mission, but it's mostly about going and doing what the players want. We play on Saturdays at 8pm Swedish time, although what timezone and where you're from doesn't matter. We play for at least 3 hours each session every weekend utilising discord and dnd beyond for the campaign. I need 1 or 2 more as others have had to leave due to their schedules changing  I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Hey everyone! I’m Victor, from Brazil, and I’ve been head-over-heels for TTRPGs ever since high school. My very first campaign actually happened right in a classroom—our history teacher walked us through Middle-earth. I still remember playing a hobbit (well, trying to), alongside elves and dwarves, finding our way through a world that felt so much bigger than us. I didn’t even realize it then, but I was hooked for good. Over the years, the way I play has been totally shaped by some amazing tables that inspired me, like Critical Role and Dimension 20. That whole journey eventually led me to Dungeons & Dragons, which became my go-to system—though I’ve happily wandered through others like Tormenta 20, Pathfinder 2e, The Strange, and Call of Cthulhu too. At the table, I’m pretty outgoing and love jumping into the story. I try to be present in the scene, help give the story room to breathe, and make sure everyone around the table gets their moment to shine. For me, RPGs are magic—that special kind of alchemy where a group turns imagination into a living story, faces challenges together, and creates something none of us could’ve made alone. When I’m not rolling dice, I’m usually training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, gaming, or hanging out with my dog Gaspar (who, in my completely unbiased opinion, is the handsomest good boy in this realm). Good stories, good rolls, and good company—that’s what keeps me going. Really looking forward to building some fantasy worlds, telling memorable stories, and sharing those meaningful dice moments with you all. Here’s to good luck on our rolls and an adventure we won’t forget.

I love to roleplay, even doing voices. I love combat, and I can get very detailed- sometimes merciless. I also love struggling against a boss, play it like a puzzle.

Hello. I have been playing D&D 5e for 2 years, looking for a weekly game whether in 5e or 5.5e. Preferably evenings in the weekends, as I am available after 6 PM EST. Definitely can commit to a consistent weekly game night provided that if 1) IRL does not throw a wrench my way or 2) game is canceled.  I enjoy a game where it is combat focused, in no way I am against roleplaying, could mix it up between the two. I am okay with character death, and games whether its homebrew, or official or games converted from different modules. My favorite class to play is the fighter and my go to favorite is the cavalier, a classic knight on horse subclass that defends his party and lives by his own code.

Mörk Borg (2020)

English
Mörk Borg is a doom metal apocalyptic fantasy tabletop roleplaying game, published by Free League Publishing in 2020. It was created by Pelle Nilsson and Johan Nohr. The game is famous for its aggressive, award winning graphic design and incredibly bleak tone. Players navigate a dying world destined to end, playing as miserable scoundrels, heretics, and broken souls simply trying to survive their final days. The system it is heavily inspired by is Old School Renaissance (2000s) Description In Mörk Borg, you do not play heroes. You play tomb robbers and outcasts exploring a grim, rotting world under a black sun. The setting is actively counting down to the apocalypse as prophesied by the two headed basilisk. Gameplay is highly lethal, fast paced, and completely unfair. It prioritizes atmosphere, quick rulings, and embracing the inevitable doom of your character. System Overview & Key Features Player Facing d20 Rolls The core mechanic is incredibly simple. Players roll a 20 sided die (d20) and add a stat modifier to beat a Target Number, which is usually 12. Players roll for all attacks and all defense. The Game Master never touches the dice during combat. The Calendar of Nechrubel The world is literally ending. Each morning, the Game Master rolls a die to determine if a Misery occurs. When the seventh Misery is rolled, the world burns and the game is permanently over. The players cannot stop this. Omens Characters have a small pool of Omens each day. These are points that can be spent to reroll a failed test, maximize damage dealt, reduce damage taken, or neutralize a critical hit. In a highly lethal game, Omens are the only thing keeping a character alive. Unpredictable Magic Magic is cast by reading ancient Unclean or Sacred scrolls. Any class can attempt to read a scroll, but doing so requires a Presence test. Failing this test results in a terrifying Arcane Catastrophe, causing massive damage or permanent mutations. Zero HP and Broken Bodies When a character reaches zero Hit Points, they are Broken. The player must roll on a brutal table to determine their fate. They might simply be knocked unconscious, lose a limb, or die instantly and gruesomely.
