6 Players LF Runeterra DM!

Hey there! My friend group and I are looking to play in a campaign set in the world of Runeterra / League of Legends. We're on the look for any DM that could run within this setting, be it an experienced or new-coming DM. We're only requiring that you be an adult, because we're all within our 20s! To clarify this requirement, we have no interest in NSFW content at the table, just classic adventuring, dungeon delving and roleplaying. Our group has history playing together, with myself being the regular DM! We're primarily used to FoundryVTT, but open to learn other means to play the games through as well. We've been playing together for about four years now, with a history of being longtime friends. We're open to anybody that wants to sit down and get immersed into the world. We're drawn character-driven plots, with roleplay opportunities and social encounters. In that same breath, we're just as eager to clear through dungeons and roll mathrocks for a session. Our style isn't making the strongest build for the situation, or the best choices possible to 'win' our game. We're into playing our character's role; having memorable narratives between them and the world spun around us. As for scheduling, we're looking to meet and play on Tuesday nights! Exact timing can be figured out in later conversation. If you're interested, feel free to message me directly here, or add me on Discord. Thanks for reading this post! Have a good day/night.

Hello Hi and Greetings, First of all I shall give out the most vital information. -Looking for 4 Players. -Weekly Game -Day of the week can be fluid, But for my needs Saturday10:15 Pm Suits the most. -Session Length 3Hr+ -Narrative Story Focused / Character Story focused /Less so on Combat -Puzzles, Riddles. - 4 Custom Origins yours to mold and make your own. Intro Lore. The isle of Aches Pips Paradise Unseen, Land Uncharted, Curse Unleashed. Beneath the thin veil of beauty and paradise, lays a festering wound. Deep within the isle sits a rotting corpse. Far away from the prying eyes of the locals. It remains a secret hidden in plain sight. To venture forth is to guarantee banishment. Knowledge is power, or so they claim. The isle survives and Thrives on a different motto. Ignorance is Bliss. After all, The forest is Dark. These Locals have managed for centuries. But now, a new threat looms. One Threat, that even the strict monarchy that rules these rich lands could not even dream of ever stopping. One threat that remains inevitable. A Threat that has been looming on the horizon. A threat that has no equal. A threat so vile, to even know about it is to be doomed by it. A death sentence to all willing to learn about the isle. What You were before the isle had made you into the person you are, but that does not matter now. All contacts, Family, Heirlooms and Wealth. Here, You are Nothing more than a Stranger. Nothing more than a mere Inheritor, A simple Minded beast, A Servant of fate down on his luck and a Terribly unfortunate artist. If it strikes your Fancy. Shadowdark Megadungeon Game

Hello all! I've been wanting to run a moderate-length game of Shadowdark with a dedicated group. I'm looking for a moderate-length campaign about 12 sessions (3 months) and to determine from there if the group wants to continue or move onto something else. The game would be ran on discord and roll20. Sessions would run 2 fast and furious hours. I'm looking for players who can commit their full attention to the game in a short(ish) window. Shadowdark plays fast relative to similar fantasy TTRPGs. For those unfamiliar with Shadowdark, it harkens back to D&D 2nd edition. The rules are simpler and it is very easy to pick up (for free too!) - if you've played 5e, it's not an exaggeration to say you can learn this game in 15 minutes, even playing the wizard class. The game leans more into themes of survival horror and resource management than the heroic fantasy D&D 5e evokes - but not a boring kind! It's very streamlined in how it works. The vision I have for my game is a mega-dungeon set-up with a homebase to return to, with themes of eldritch horror and some political intrigue. The main touchstone media for this story is the anime and manga Made in Abyss. This is the main caveat about my games: *Christian values - content is kept PG-13 and violence is not gratuitous, sexual content is non-existent without compelling RP reasons well communicated to the GM, and the Christian faith and traditional beliefs are respected - players can be non-Christian. If that caveat is no issue to you, it could be a good table for you. If that caveat is attractive to you, it might be a great table for you. I'll mostly be playing by the book - which is available for free (the quick start edition, anyway) at the Arcane Library's website. With the short play time, I'll play the variant rule to have 30 minute torch-timers (probably the defining mechanic of the game). I'll use maps on the VTT and use limited lighting in such a manner that makes players have to map out the dungeon themselves. I've played a few short games like this and it was really immersive! If you're interested, please message me the following information: Your name: Your age: A bit about you: Why you're interested in the game: Tabletop RPG experience: A character concept you like that you've played or like to play: In transparency, I'll share my answers to the questions above: My name is Josh. I'm 33. I work in education and am married with four children. I'm a pretty typical nerd living in Midwestern USA - I like video games, anime, Star Wars - for my kids age, basically everyone is obsessed with Pokemon right now. Some of my favorite games are the Resident Evil franchise, anything really made by FromSoft these days, and The Legend of Zelda. I *really* like Resident Evil especially for reasons I don't fully grasp, but it bleeds into my TTRPG life, to where I like survival horror games the most and feel I run them the best. I want to run this game because of the survival horror elements coming more natural to Shadowdark than D&D 5th edition. I like the fast and furious play of it. It plays so smoothly and encourages more creativity because your character sheet is so barebones, you think beyond the sheet more. I want to run a game with the exploration of, say, Dark Souls, with the survival horror of Resident Evil and with story inspirations from Made in Abyss. I'm coming on 8 years of regular, weekly GMing - mostly 5th edition D&D, but I've branched out to other games the last few years. In lieu of a character concept, I'll share the positive feedback I've gotten from players: tense but rewarding scenarios, strong at integrating backstories, great horror original settings... I think the only main criticism I've received is having been, on occasion, impatient with players taking very long with their turns. Shadowdark makes it easy not to have that temptation, but I'm very amenable to feedback if someone were to tell me something I did or said rubbed them the wrong way. I'm sure I missed something in this post, but I think that's all the essential details... Please reach out if you're interested. Happy gaming!

semi-modern campaign set in a massive city

Hiya!! I’m looking to run a 5e game set in (but not necessarily confined to!) the sprawling metropolis of Hardraw. The setting is similar to New York In the 1930s, and slightly (HEAVILY) inspired by the Mtg plane of ravnica. The plot sees YOU(r character) Arrested and offered an out by a useless police force, investigating a series of ritual-like disappearances in the many areas of the city Were you a petty thief? A mobster? Bank robber? Or maybe even innocent? Who knows! Not me! (I’d have players already if I did) and what will you discover on your journey? A cult? Murderer? Or maybe you’re just gonna live in the woods, again, who knows! I have taken a little break since my last game so please keep that in mind! But my name is Abigail, I’m a minor, Scottish, a trans woman and have ran enough games in the past to call myself a dm. My discord is Youkaiofthedusk, please message me there! For you know, character creation and stuff

Tales from Kaladia

Looking for (ideally) a trio of players for a campaign inspired by The Legend of Zelda, Tales from Earthsea, Adventure Time and Studio Ghibli. Set in the world of Kaladia, a land once littered with magi-tech and unity that fell before Grimvar the Ruinshaper! Now existing in a High Fantasy post-apocalypse, filled with dungeons and relics of an 80's inspired magelight past, the people of Kaladia are still trying to rebuild a millenia later. "One thousand years ago, the Age of Magelight came to a ruinous end in the land of Kaladia. Overnight, the grand arcane utopias fell to the power of Grimvar the Ruinshaper and were replaced with hollow ruins and shadow in a war known as The Sundering. It took the might of three powerful adventurers, The Last Companions, to put a final violent end to The Ruinshaper's reign of tyranny. In the ages since, society has slowly begun to rebuild... though any attempts at civilization pale in comparison to the ages before The Sundering. The greatest of these fledgling civilizations is the Kingdom of Aldora, built atop the ruined heartlands of Kaladia. It is from there that many new adventurers are born, and it is where a new party of heroes will find their humble beginnings... For a new shadow is rising through the cracks of growing civility, and it hides many sinister secrets!" If you're interested, feel free to fill out the questionnaire! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe-CBN4zjJFq6yxbWbOIuPApI5y3VwTPQzYXlRgYPyC6XFVLA/viewform?usp=sharing&ouid=108885602205182437002

Looking for 1 active player

Hi everyone. I'm looking for 1 player to join my campaign. We have a core group of 7 players for the past 7 years, but life hit 5 of them... so they are around to chat or jump in from time to time but unable to fully commit like they used to (for now). I currently have 2 active players who have no lives and can dedicate their time to playing. If you are fun enough, you can also join in the Dragonball and Starwars campaigns later on. This campaign goes to level 20. We are currently at level 4. We do not charge money to play (unless you count your emotional well being and soul as a form of payment). The prerequisites to join are we follows: - Be 18 or older. - Be ACTIVE. If your life is too busy and you can only play a couple of hours a day or twice a week, then this game is not for you. - Read and comprehend. - Ability to ask questions. - Be okay with DnD 2024 rules. - Comfortable using Discord. - Have a Beyond login. I will share my resources with you. - Comfortable using bots in Discord, we can show you, we only use two. - Availability from 8AM to 6PM Monday through Friday Eastern Time (New York). We don't play the entirety of that time every day, but we would like two or three days of game play a week. Again, pbp...so no hard stance on time, but 1 post a day is unacceptable. - Don't be a creep. I have 3 women in my campaign. If you make them uncomfortable with advances in and out of character, then it's an easy kick and ban. You need to be okay with the following not knowing everything, and playing a particular set of species and subclasses in the campaign. You will not have access to standard subclasses. Answer the following questions. They are not a part of the campaign, but give me insights to your personality. For instance, if you are judgemental of the questions or come up with your own conclusions about the campaign based on the questions, it already says a lot about you and your play style. Go be a headache elsewhere. 1. The DM sets up an escort campaign, but it somehow turns into a zombie campaign within a few hours. How do you handle this? 2. Your team just managed to escape the bbeg, but the sub boss caught you and cast a spell to control your mind. You failed the save and you've been ordered to kill your two teammates who are really low on health. The sub boss is nowhere to be seen. What do you do? 3. You find a nice lake to swim in. As you admire the water from the edge, a giant alligator grabs you, pulls you under, and you die. Now what? 4. An evil train is possessed by an undead and you cast a spell to charm the undead creature. The first time you cast it, it succeeded the roll. The second time, it failed the roll, but it isn't charmed. How do you proceed with your GM? 5. You lost a fight. One of the other players tells you to get gud. What do you do? 6. You can never seem to use your wits to charm an NPC. One of the players says you have a skill issue. What do you do? 7. Complete this sentence: actions have ______________

Walk the Line: Between Life & Death

*Please read the entire description before applying to play this game!* Ever wondered how an every day person might survive the beginning of the end? What leads to the world's fall? Who's involved? Why? Well 3-5 players need wonder no more as this game focuses on exactly that! And we're seeking up to 2 more! The gradual decline of society. The intrigue about what's causing it and how different factions begin to form. How natural and man-made disasters happen and how everyday people handle it all. Not to mention the secrets and conspiracies that might get discovered along the way. All of this and more awaits those daring enough to join! *But beware!* You're just an average person who's had your life interrupted by everything going on around you. And in order to survive, or perhaps even try to salvage or save what little you can, it seems that you need to gather up a few friends and work together. But who knows? Maybe you'll somehow manage to save the world! ------- So what will you all do? Will you seek out a cure for the new infection going around that's changing people's brains and bodies? Will you help with the rescue efforts after a natural disaster? Will you join one of the factions and take on quests for them? Maybe you'll stay on the run, trying to keep ahead of everything happening all around you? Or perhaps you're more inclined to hunker down in one location for as long as possible? The choices are ultimately yours (and your group's) to make! Just be careful though, as just one wrong move can have deadly consequences! How long can you survive? *Character deaths can and will occur when you're first starting out! Don't get too attached to your first few characters!* ------- This game is set in a world similar to, but not quite, ours. The content will happen on the continent of New USA starting in late autumn of the modern day. The system and story has no magic or aliens, but mutants, militia, cults, bombs, natural disasters, severe disabilities, EMPs, inebriation, broken bones, death, and most anything that can or has happened in real life can and may well happen in game at some point. RP will hopefully be a major focus of this game as well. Killing your fellow humans will have consequences on both your character and the world around you, so it's not recommended. You're not a playing as a hardened veteran, psychopath, or a serial killer after all, so why would your character be okay with murder? Mention a fruit to prove you've read this very important information. Animals, Mutants, and anything that doesn't resemble a human (anymore) should be fair game though. ------- This game is one entirely of my own creation, complete with custom character sheets and a system that I designed from scratch and have quality tested over the last few years. This game has been going for over 2 years now, though the group you might be joining is only a few weeks old. If you join this game, please be aware that, as with all homebrew games and systems, you might experience some bugs or changes from time to time, especially if the base platform Roll20 has a major update. This game is only for those aged 21 and older as it includes (but doesn't focus on) graphic content, including themes of death, gore, alcohol, drugs, suicide, mental health, and similar. This is a realistic, gritty game focusing on playing as an everyday person as the world slowly falls apart, so if any of these themes are issues for you, or if you're not at least 21 years old, then this game is likely not for you. This game has a focus on realism with regards to prices, story, roleplay, and what's possible to make or buy. However nearly everything else, such as the inventory, healing, and combat systems, are only loosely realistic. Also, you should be able to craft or upgrade nearly everything in this game so long as it makes sense, you spend the time, have the materials, and it follows some form of realistic logic. ------- Some unique key features of this game's system includes... - Play as one of 26 different professions, each with their own special talent and specialized skill-set that can greatly impact how you play. - Your character's age, sex, height, weight, and hobbies all play a factor on your starting core stats. Even choosing to play non-binary has an impact by having no impact! - Inventory is slot/space-based instead of weight based. - Skills improve the more you use them, but can also decay to a point if you don't. - Uses the Metric system for map measurements (squares are usually 1 meter). - Multiple unique status effects that can impact your stats for better or worse. - Find and drive over 20 different vehicles with stats from cars and bikes to planes and drones to boats and jet skis and more! *Plans exist to expand to over 50 vehicles at some point*. - Dismantle your old gear or harvest materials and use what you get to craft or upgrade new and existing gear! - Upgrade your core stats through achievements, both party and personal, gaining a stat point with each achievement. *ie first time fully equipped (personal), first encounter with a new enemy type (personal), first visit to a new location (party), develop a cure for the pandemic! (party), etc* - Mention a vegetable in your application as proof you've read this entire list. - A Focus on Tactical and Stealth gameplay, rather than outright combat. This is done by making all combat encounters brutal, where any unarmored humanoid can be downed with a single critical hit or two solid hits. And if they take a point-blank shotgun or grenade blast, they're almost guaranteed to outright die. ------- If you want a good idea of what your characters will be going through, consider the following films and shows as they are probably the closest to what this game is all about. Revolution, The Silence, The Happening, 2012, Twister, Dante's Peak, or any other natural disaster or World-Actively-Ending film/show that's somewhat realistic or feasible today. Of course, these aren't perfect examples as the game is meant to be paced out over a few years instead of over a few hours, but it should still give a good idea of what to expect. ------- The game is expected to be roughly *50% RP, 25% Combat, and 25% Other* across all sessions once you're comfortable with the system. *Weekly, 4 hour sessions on Wednesdays from 2-6pm EST.* *Voice chat will be in Discord.* *Game will take place in Roll20.* The campaign is planned to last 100 in-game days, with roughly 1-2 in-game days passing every 3-5 sessions, so about 5-10 irl years. The group is currently on Day 20 and has been running since November 2023. The campaign may extend beyond this timeframe depending on the group's actions and interests as well as a hidden, yet revealed feature of the game itself. Finally, I've put well over 2,500 hours over multiple years into creating this game, so if you wish to contribute financially or in some other way, you are more than welcome to, though it is not required. Details for how to do such will be provided upon request. ------- If you're interested in joining this game and have spotted the two application prompts, please visit https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/399999/walk-the-line-between-life-and-death and fill out the New Player Application in the thread at the bottom to potentially become another survivor who Walks the Line Between Life and Death! *I should respond via personal message within 48 hours on Roll20 after an application is submitted.* *Currently looking for 2 more players, ideally ones that are at least familiar with TTRPGs systems other than D&D.* *Did you spot the two application prompts? If not, read through this again before applying to play!*

Group of 4 seeks to tell a nice story

Hi reddit! o/ {cool friendly introductory sentence} **Framework** * We would like to embark on a **long-term campaign** * We are not interested in a paid game * While we're most acquainted with the 5e 2024 D&D rules we are open to 2014 rules and homebrew adjustments! * We can use whichever (free) VTT you're most comfortable with * Most of us turn our cameras on for the game, but that is by no means a requirement! * Our sessions are currently scheduled weekly around noon on Sundays, there is wiggle room about the exact starting time * We will probably not be able to get the full crew together consistently until after the holiday season, so the proper campaign would only launch in January. Right now we're mostly looking to set up interviews and get a feel for each other and a possible game! * To achieve this we'd love to play a trial one-shot before an actual campaign **Our wishes for the game** * Some of us already have finished characters that we would like to adapt into your world * Setting: classic D&D style high fantasy world * Preferably homebrew world & story with rich lore * Main gameplay focus should be **roleplay**, exploration and mystery (with only occasional combat) * While there should be space for serious and impactful moments we're aiming for a light-hearted and fun tone overall !!! For us, the **most important** part of the game is the immersion. This means a lot of **roleplay** and **character moments**. We (as players and as our characters) want a real connection to the world and its inhabitants. The player characters should have a tangible impact on the world, and the main story (if there is such a thing) should be relevant to everyone. **About us** We are an established group of **four players** (open to adding a fifth) of different nationalities in our **mid- to late twenties**, with the levels of TTRPG experience ranging all the way from relatively novice to veteran. Most of these points are negotiable, so if you have a plan that isn't a perfect match but might still be a good enough fit please do still reach out! We'd love to hear your ideas! If you're interested please fill in [this google form](https://forms.gle/Lb1SqM918rkvmi7j7) with your pitch and we will reach out to you!

Rotikgos in Ruin

Welcome to Rotikgos, where magic is scarce, but with the help of the heroes, magic is slowly coming into this world. The land is still rural, with towns and villages just being established, and the whole of Rotikgos has only one major city. Even so, everyone's lives are at risk, as this nation is just beginning to take root. As creatures never seen before, rampage Rotikgos and take down villages. People go missing and mysteriously show up, not remembering what happened. A select few have even been transformed. The people of this land don't believe in the gods and goddesses. Yet Mota, the Goddess of Fate, used her divine powers to give a handful of regular people magical powers and magical items. The first true magical people in this land. Who is attacking this land? Why are these otherworldly creatures here? Why has a Goddess of people who don't believe in the gods helping? Why did a new moon show up out of nowhere two years ago? Only time can tell in the world of Rotikgos. This is a campaign I have been running for 6 months now. We just lost a player and were looking for 1 more to round out the party again, if someone fits well. For players, we have a Wizard, a Barbarian, a Rogue, and a Homebrew called a Soul Binder. We will be playing on Roll20 and talking on Discord. It will be a 2014 ruleset. Characters will start with Advanced Standard Array (17, 15, 13, 12, 10, 8), and everyone can choose between taking a feat or ASI when making a character, and at level 4, you get both a feat and an ASI. You will also start with a free common magic item. We are at Lv 5 and go to around 12-14. You can be any official Race. More magical races (non-human) don't naturally come from this world. If you want to play a race like that, we can talk about it more. Homebrew is allowed, just check with me first. This is a biweekly game on Tuesdays 5:30 PST. Also, one main system in this game revolves around the deck of many things. If you do good things in the eyes of the goddess, you get Karma, and you can spend it to pull good cards, but if you pull a card with no Karma, well… good luck. You can also ask the deck a question, and it will show a card with an answer to your question 25% of the time.

Waterdeep: Dragonheist & Beyond!

Greetings to those who have graced our poor, humble post with your attention! Now that you’re here, why don’t you stay awhile and listen? Our group has come to the LFG on bended knee, in need of a Dungeon Master who will take up the torch and banner to lead us to a brighter, richer tomorrow. To that end, I should say that this post is for those Dungeon Masters who would want to curate a more in-depth, narratively enriching and serious campaign to play alongside six other rather enthusiastic, evocative and imaginative role-players! Recently, we’ve taken to the streets of Waterdeep: Dragon Heist, however, as sometimes comes to pass, our DM had to take their leave. Now, we’d spent a bit of time trying to plan out our characters, and have even played a few sessions taking us near to the end of Chapter 1 of the module! It would be our hope that we might find another to join us as our Dungeon Master who has the same drive, creative energy and investment as we do! All six of us are rather enthusiastic roleplayers who not only enjoy the social interactions, but also the other varied pillars of D&D! We enjoy challenging combats, tricksy puzzles, just as much as we do the quiet moments between such times where our character can interact with each other and the world at large. I know it’s a lot to ask, frankly, to come into a campaign that has started, but our thought was since we’d only progressed just so far there would be more than enough space for someone to come in and make this module their own! Truthfully, the big goal we have is not only to complete this module, but at its completion move beyond it with either the character we have or some others depending on how the transition into a new phase of the campaign might come. We are most trepidatiously seeking the long-term here, and to that end would hope that this DM might become part of this group as not only a facilitator of the story, but as a fellow player and friend! In terms of broader subjects and concepts we enjoy, I would like to take a moment to list a few: Intrigue, in the guise of political, societal, religious, and/or moral tension, et cetera. Fantasy-style discrimination when and where appropriate. (No real world nonsense, however). Exploration of the moral spectrum in regards to individual characters, settings, and groups. Delving into worldly and distinctly otherworldly matters. Creating relationships with factions within the setting and most deliciously navigating the sometimes conflicting loyalties of the character we travel with! Taking a keen interest in the backstories of our companions, and showcasing the diversity of their relationships as a result. Being a part of building the narrative through the actions of our character in response to the world around them, and thus contributing to the setting and its voice. Now for the more salient details, and while I should note there could be some flexibility here or there, due to having members on two continents we’d much prefer to keep the time we have been able to put aside. Day: Mondays Time: 1:00 P.M. to 5 P.M. CST Edition : 5e ( 2024) If we seem as if we could be a good fit for you, please feel free to reach out to me here and then we can trade information and talk to see if we’re a good fit!

Rise and Fall of Vundergard

Monday 8pm PST is game time. Hey guys im starting a new campaign. In my setting there is a new class called Puppeteer. https://www.gmbinder.com/share/-MTsRv86PJYRjQM8Wk6t **The view is messed up, at the very top of the doc is text only view format click that if you have issues**. Players joinning can play as a puppeteer if they so choose. But are not required to do so, all classes welcomed! My campaign is homebrew and will include many references and inspiration taken from elsewhere. Ill be using a mix of 2014 and 2024 rules as well as some of my own. Somethings i liked in the new rules somethings i didnt. If you have questions about how you may be affected we can chat beore or during game if you need clarification before trying something. This campaign starts with everyone dead. Your souls were collected before the afterlife and reincarnation cycle by a god. This god is also collecting souls from otherworlds because the threat facing this world has been too much for the heroes sent and now hes willing to call upon otherworlder help. The gods offer is such: solve the problem this world faces, and ill return you to your world and old life mere seconds after your death. You'll keep your skills, knowledge, magic and equipment earned in this life. If you are from this world already, i cannot rewind time to send you back, for that could affect the good you've done here. But the rest of my offer still applies to you as well. **Campaign Setting** The world of Azeroth has many regions and continents. The largest region is named Drogunheim. Drogunheim was the site of the first and second god war. After the first war the land was named after the hero who ended the war and he claimed the scarred land and became its first king. However in the recent years the current king has been slain and replaced by Demetri Vundergard who claimed to bring about real change, starting with the name of the capitol and the region. Since he has taken power, people have been going mad, disappearing, or publicly executed for treason, despite a lack of evidence, or trial. Crops are going bad, prices are the highest they've ever been due to taxes and low supplies. Even the animals of the land are acting strangely. The king proclaimed having prior knowledge (a vision from god) of these growing issues, claiming the old king wasnt ready for these undertakings. If poorly managed these will lead to the death of all, and only he has the answers and the plan that will save everyone... Only if they work with him will they see the light of a brighter future. You will join into the campaign 10yrs after Demetri took power. During session 0 the god will go more indepth about about your mission. Also world lore will be more indepth in the discord and as the info is revealed later. Please fill out these questions plz. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSczy3pWdFH0V_nO3ItjU6LMGZha5dNOS7pqPe_DGA53qZ3EHA/viewform?usp=publish-editor

Serpent's Skull Adventure Path

Ahoy there, potential plunderers, and welcome to the sun-baked, snake-infested chaos that is the Serpent's Skull Adventure Path! Forget your standard goblin-slaying or tavern-brawling campaigns. We're kicking things off with a bang—or rather, a shipwreck! That's right, your shiny new characters (who we all know will definitely survive) are about to get tossed overboard and spat onto the shores of a mysterious, uncharted island. Think of it as a tropical vacation... if your itinerary included: Massive, territorial dinosaurs (because who needs peaceful wildlife?). Angry indigenous peoples who don't appreciate clumsy castaways. The lingering, deadly remnants of an ancient, terrifying civilization. And, of course, a lot of snakes. Seriously, if you have ophidiophobia, this is going to be a fun, scream-filled few months. Your ultimate goal? Survival! And maybe, just maybe, figuring out what ancient, world-shaking secret lies hidden beneath the dense jungle canopy. Grab your machetes, check your tetanus shots, and try not to get eaten. The jungle awaits! Please write your introductions for character ideas in here. In this adventure path we will be using milestone leveling, background skills, starting at level 3 (with the appropriate average wealth per character), 2 traits (or 3 with one drawback), 25 point buy, and the Unchained rules. I am looking for ideally mature players who are promptly on time and professional (don't worry, I'll try not to be a stick in the mud haha). Tell me: -What is your experience with Pathfinder 1e? -What is your age, gender (LGBTQ+ ally here), and location (GMT). -What is your character concept? No politics and no bullshit! Cursing allowed XD. We'll be looking at 2-4 hour sessions weekly. Good luck! Update: This was originally posted on Roll20. You can search for the game there if you like. So far we have 3 players. 3 more slots open.

[lgbt+ friendly] [biweekly Fridays] mini series (possible campaign) Mini series (possibly campaign) online  Hello, I’m starting a mini series on my dnd server online. I want to run it biweekly. There’s a possibility if the game goes well, that I may open this up to a campaign. (Or invite the players to play a campaign after this mini series is over) this will be live streamed onto my dnd YouTube channel, face cams/ vtube cams preferred but I will allow no cams if need be. I want to run biweekly fridays, not sure on the time yet. I’m hoping for like later in the evening. I’m est time zone. Thinking start time or possibly (8pm est, 7pm cst, 6pm mst, 5pm pct) here’s the baseline for the mini series: Set in present time 2025. Location unconfirmed (will be in the USA) A group of college students are on campus when a bio-science project goes wrong, forcing the entire university into sudden quarantine behind a massive glass barrier. No one can leave. No one can enter. The outside world is silent except for a promise of a cure that never seems to come. Inside, things start changing — not just in people’s bodies, but in their behavior, values, and sense of reality. Clubs become factions. Dorms become territories. And the question becomes: Are you trying to survive, escape, fix it… or figure out what you’re becoming? You will be starting as human with the option to change races due to situations later on.

Draught of elsh

Drought of Elsh – [Saturdays 3PM, last Saturday of each month] 3–4 players | Starting Level: 1 No race or pantheon restrictions Welcome to Prime Terra, in the ancient country of Elsh—a long-invaded melting pot known as a religious crossroads where all races and gods coexist. But Elsh is in crisis. A brutal civil war rages for the nation’s soul. Elgor, a human paladin, leads the elderly king’s forces. Opposing him is Annar, a tiefling warlock leading a rebellion backed by the hidden crown princess. Your class choice matters, as most factions have taken sides: Annar’s supporters: Sorcerers, Warlocks, Rogues Elgor’s supporters: Clerics, Paladins, Fighters Others try to avoid the conflict: Barbarians of plains and mountains refuse to take part. Wizard Towers (Black North, White South) are strictly neutral. Druids are split—some condemn paladins’ brutality, others fear warlock magic. Bard Colleges in the three major cities act as open safe zones. Artificers are divided, with a new leader urging neutrality. Monks are split between pacifism and siding with Annar. Rangers have vanished entirely; their motives unknown. There are rare exceptions: Elgor himself keeps a powerful Rogue ally at his side. After two years of war, no victor has emerged. Elsh faces drought, hunger, and an unforgiving summer that threatens everyone—soldier and civilian alike. Will your party support Elgor? Side with Annar? Save the nation—or simply try to survive the heat? The choice is yours.

Humanity and the colour out of space

You haven’t seen the sun in over a month now… not since the event… one day every living thing in the city mutated all at the same time. A dome blocks the light, along with phone and radio signals. You are completely cut off. Left to fend for yourself in your new form. The metro tunnels are now a battleground. Toddler sized rats fight against hideously mutated cats that can only be described as goblinoid in appearance… but the metro might be safer than the streets. Monstrous animals prowl the streets in search of prey. It's not all bad, though. The survivors of the event have banded together and turned the abandoned mall into a fortress. A fortress now constantly under attack. Do you have what it takes to survive in a city born anew? Hello! Thank you for taking some time out of your day to read my post. I’m looking for 4-5 players to run a 5e campaign every other sunday at 3:00 pm MST. there will be no humans in this campaign. Along with no clerics and limited patron options for warlocks. The reason for this will be explained in the player doc. Here is the google form link if interested: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSffba5mIMidLSDVfxr7Wrm8_rw2yahjmgnI28g32DZVLOkZ5Q/viewform?usp=dialog

[Cyberpunk RED] A Night At The Vampire Rave!

Hello Everyone! Name's Alex, I'm a 25 year old nerd from germany! I'm looking to spin up a Cyberpunk RED crew for a little 2-3 session gig from the Tales of the Red book. This would be the first of nine linked missions, so if the table wants to, we can keep rolling through the whole book!. Time: Fridays, 7:30 PM GMT Length: Around 3 hours per session Discord for voice, Foundry for VTT New players fully welcome!! The Premise: You’re small-time edgerunners hustling for rent money and ramen flavored kibble. Seven girls have vanished from the University District in the last month. A nervous corpo offers the group 2k a head to track down his missing daughter. NCPD is severely understaffed, campus security is a joke, but rumors points to a goth vampire rave in an old symphony hall. You’re nobodies, which makes you perfect for slipping in unnoticed. Pull it off and you get paid good eddies and maybe earn a favor from someone who actually matters. Screw it up and there might just be another screamsheet headline with your faces on it!

The Crooked Moon - Folk Horror Campaign

You are about to embark upon a journey into the unknown, where uncanny folk with strange superstition revere the Old Ways, and creatures of folklore lurk on the isolated fringes of civilization. At the stroke of midnight, a ghastly fog rolls in, and with it, the blast of a haunting train whistle that sounds more like a choir of wailing souls. When the old black locomotive rolls out of the gloom, you know deep in your trembling heart that you have a one-way ticket to the afterlife. The Ghostlight Express thunders its call, and it's time for you to hop aboard. You're off to Druskenvald. Players will embody characters that find themselves in possession of a ticket to ride the Ghostlight Express, a spectral train that ferries souls to the afterlife. This trip through the mists of death leaves them stranded in the mysterious valley of Wickermoor Hollow, where isolated peoples are terrorized by restless dead, wicked hags, ravenous monsters, and many other creatures of the night that never ends. Potential Days: Monday, Friday or Saturday Create your character with the brand new player options including 15 folk horror subclasses - including the Sinner Rogue, a roguish archetype empowered with inflicting hexes & curses with the art of Jinxcrafting. The Crooked Moon also features 13 Halloween-inspired species! Want to play as a spooky and haunted treefolk? Look no further than the Gnarlborn - creatures resembling crooked trees with glowing faces peering from their barkskin. Are you a fan of scarecrows? Now you can play a stalking construct of sticks and straw as a Harvestborn! Pair these with unique subclasses for endless permutations of new characters. To entice you even more, there are 26 epic upgrading magic items, that grow as you grow, so maybe you might have a chance to get one. So come take the horrific plunge. Online/Offline Game for NY Metro Area

Hello! I wanted to check interest on starting a DnD game. Please read the whole post to make sure this idea is up your alley.  A little bit about me: 30M, long time DnD player who has dabbled in DMing 6 or so years ago. Had a lot of fun, but had to stop because of an injury.  Im looking for players who live in the NY metro area. If you can get to NYC within about an hour and a little change, awesome! I prefer people closer to myself in age so 25-45 is ideal, but not a dealbreaker. I’m most interested in group cohesion and chemistry.  Eventually, I want to do a game that is online most of the time for everyone’s ease, but maybe meet up once a month for in person sessions. Generally, I’d like to do online sessions around 6/7-10pm on Sundays, and in person sessions we can schedule times and places as needed. The first couple months will be online as we gain steam.  Probably would look to start some time in January if there’s enough interest.  For themes of the campaign, think a throwback to classic d&d: explorations, dungeons, and frequent combat, while also building a setting with rich evolving story and RP potential to get everyone involved.  A couple things I’d like to mention: For simplicity sake, I want to keep things to the main players handbook, xanathars and mordenkainen (I am probably forgetting a book or two but you get the idea).  Do not premake a character. We will go through that process when the time comes with stat rolls/buy ins.  Do not be a jerk. I want an environment where everyone is comfortable, so no tolerance for racism, homophobia, or anything of the sort.  If there’s any interest, comment or send me a DM! This is a cross post from my Reddit post so sorry if the format or content is slightly irregular for this site.

Mystansia: World Unbound

Due to the all devouring schedule monster, my previous campaign has fizzled. I am now ready to release a setting that I have been working on for a very long time. I am looking for 3-5 additional players to join the table. There will be six total, but I have offered the seats to the players from my previous campaign. The premise is below. Premise: Welcome to Mystansia, a world where the gods do more than whisper from afar. They walk, judge, wound, and mend. Nations clash not only with steel and magic, but with ideology, ambition, and scars centuries deep. Magicite, the crystallized breath of the divine, fuels an age of impossible machines, airships, and arcane weapons that have rewritten the nature of power itself known as the Arcano-Industrial Revoloution. To the far west rises Archon, a kingdom of industry built atop its own ruin, where technological brilliance has burned the land into wasteland and glass. In the east, beyond rolling vineyards and chalk-white cliffs, the Trebalae Union thrives on trade, art, and the mystery of foreign winds. Northward lies the Talion Federation, a frozen land of feudal baronies and ironclad loyalty, where the cold is as merciless as the Crown. Between giants stands Creznia, the diplomatic heart of the continent, whose people cling to neutrality with both hands as earthquakes rattle the foundations beneath them. And in the emerald east, where forests whisper and rivers wind through ancient stone, the Maulinar Monarchy endures. Fierce, matriarchal, and proud. Mystansia spans 2,500 miles from east to west, 1,500 from north to south, three years of careful construction made manifest. Five nations. Unparalleled technology. A pantheon whose influence shapes every border and every shadow. A world built not as a backdrop, but as a living engine. One that remembers, one that reacts to the choices of those who walk upon it. This is a sandbox vast enough for wanderers and schemers alike, but threaded with an overarching story that bends and shifts with every decision you make. Step into the skyships, the ancient forests, the glowing cities, the frozen frontiers. Step into a land poised on the edge of triumph or disaster. Mystansia is ready. The only question is what you’ll make of it. Campaign Information * Level 05 * Race Limitations (Lore Reasons): Human, Dwarf (Mountain), Elf (Wood, High, or Drow), Aasimar, Gnome, Warforged, Halfling * Class Restrictions: None (If you choose cleric or paladin, we'll need to discuss which of the gods you follow) * Multiclass: Allowed * Stats: Standard Array or 4d6 drop the lowest * A Full Backstory integrated with world lore that includes goals, flaws, ideals, and bonds. * Format: Discord (Voice), Primarily Theater of the Mind, Roll20 for planned combat, ToTM for spontaneous combat. * Game: 5th Edition 2014 * Homebrew: No * Custom Races/Backgrounds/Lineages: No * Start Day: Thursday, January 08, 2026 * Game Time: 7:00pm CST - 11:00pm CST, Weekly Enrollment Policies * No “package deals.” This campaign will not accept players joining as pairs (partners, best friends, siblings, or similar). All applications are evaluated individually. * Enrollment closes: December 25th, 2025 Applications submitted after this date will be placed in reserve and considered if a slot opens. * Campaign start delay: While the wait may disappoint some, beginning after the holiday season is intentional. Experience has shown that launching during Christmas is a recipe for cancellations and chaos, so we start when everyone can be fully present. To Apply: Simply follow the link below and fill out the form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc6h2cKE2ZV6JdOxsCUFkbWJivXNSeG9iQL5Ii5r4u1xuhFdg/viewform?usp=dialog Thank you for your time and interest. I hope to see you in Mystansia!

[Online][4Players][CST][Thursdays] DND

Hello! My groups looking for a GM to run a online campaign with us. We've been working or situating our schedules in order to keep to a steady campaign. We dont have anything specific we'd ask for campaign wise and are open to both book campaigns and homebrewed. As a group we are fairly accepting, granted we make our jokes so if you are super easily offended you've been warned. We do our best to be considerate to those around us but things may slip we are human. We are a tight knit group, no relationships just friends more than happy to fuck each other over if it means we get the magic item instead. We thrive in a role play environment of course enjoying our fair share of fights and will probably have a mix of morals being good evil and maybe a bit in between. Dont have to worry about meta gaming, we tend to have pretty lax characters that just seem cool to us or have a theme were building off of. Roll 20 or other websites or apps can be used we have 3 of us with computers one on mobile but as long as it can be used on mobile we should be good. If anything a stream or screen share will be up from one of us to help her see and view everything. We are fairly adaptable, only real thing we ask is that you have fun be creative can take a joke and are able to be flexible with schedules. One of us is currently in college with a fluctuating schedule, another has on call aspects to his job and Im in the military si schedules could be good one week and shift another.

Daggerheart Witherwild Campaign

Hi! My name is Kenny and I'm looking for 2 more players in New York City to commit to a medium term (1ish year) Daggerheart campaign set in the Witherwild campaign frame (for fun, not to be recorded). It will be a learning experience for myself, as I've not played Daggerheart yet, so no experience required - we're all gonna learn! Loosely following my style of GMing, I'm looking for players who are seeking a serious toned table that focuses on dramatic narratives, and is hungry for a table that encourages immersion! LGBTQAI+, BIPOC, and/or femme players highly welcome! The Game Master My name is Kenny Mai, and I am a professional game master and the creator of Fables of Frost & Fur, an award-winning actual play podcast. Feel free to check here for a quick vibe check: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLNOyLzs259rqSpls2Ox3qCfz4aN0kMfw2 . In the TTRPG community, I am known for pushing TTRPGs as a storytelling format, blending my experience in theater and writing to create immersive experiences at the table. In real life, I'm just a Viet-American crazy cat man who likes horror movies with his wife. The Pitch I'm looking for 2 players who are willing to join this table in learning Daggerheart, a narrative-focused TTRPG. In that spirit, the campaign will not only be a homebrewed, but bespoke to the PCs that you and your fellow players create. Here is a copy and pasted pitch of the world you'd be inhabiting, from the core rulebook itself: Fanewick was once a place of great abundance and peace— dangerous to those unfamiliar with the land, but a cornucopia to those who respected its ways. When Haven invaded the wilds and forced the land into eternal spring, a dangerous bloom known as the Witherwild took hold and now threatens the lives of all who live there. In a Witherwild campaign, you’ll play unlikely heroes from humble beginnings who are reckoning with their newfound duty to save Fanewick’s people from dangerous corruption. Tone & Feel The table is hoping to explore the mechanics unique to Daggerheart and push how they influence storytelling. To that end, this table will be serious about immersion and roleplaying. Not that there won't be laughs! Fun, lighthearted moments will be mirrored by players and their PCs, but feel earned by the story being told. Themes The premise of the Witherwild revolves around two primary cultures, clashing against the backdrop of immeasurable tragedy. We will touch on themes of colonization, survival, and the lengths one goes to save their loved ones. But it won't be a grimdark world! There will be plenty of room for hope, forgiveness, and heroism. Logistics We are aiming for: Weekly sessions 2.5-3 hour target session lengths Friday evening - Sunday evening flexibility Location: an apartment building in Long Island City (Court Square subway stops). We have a lovely bookable conference room in our amenities floor that has a nice, big table and a big TV that I'm 73% confident I can get to work. While we are not in-session, we will communicate primarily over Discord. Safety & Expectations Safety and planning tools for the campaign include but are not limited to: Lines and Veils X-cards Stars and Wishes Players will be expected to respect each other and the GM. This includes, but is not limited to: being kind, observing the right pronouns, not talking over people, and assuming good intentions. Next Steps Please fill out this Google form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScM-ug0ZrXtLyBa_Sjj00GXc8TTnZ92O0AHhBlK_4DP1VSY-A/viewform?usp=dialog, which requires a Discord handle. Please do not be intimated by any questions! I am just genuinely curious about the folks who are interested! I will reach out over Discord, then schedule a video call for initial vibe checks, then schedule meeting in a public place for in-person vibe checks. Thanks for making it to the end of this lengthy post! Looking forward to hearing from you all!

Older Player Seeking Weekday Bi-Weekly 30+ Group

Availability: Bi-weekly; Monday / Tuesday / Thursday evenings; starting ~7pm-8pm EST and lasting for 3-4 hours Personal: Mid-30s F I'm looking for a group of folks who are 30+ for a fun, lighthearted, and possibly tropey campaign of high fantasy hijinks or space fascism. Life is serious enough for me, so I'm looking for a campaign where we can fool around, spend a bunch of time RPing, and have fun absolutely decimating our enemies in combat. Equal parts comedy and serious tones sounds like a good balance to me. If you are running a paid campaign or think Trump is a cool guy, please don't message me. I have a few years of experience playing DnD 5e 2014 and homebrew PbtA. My current campaign is DnD 5e 2014 and I am open to learning other systems. I also LARP every once in a while. I can commit to playing every other week with the possibility of playing during the off-weeks or another the day of the week. I'm able to start at ~7pm to 8pm EST, and play for 3-4 hours. I'm okay with the campaign being mainly theatre of the mind and don't have an issue trying a non-Roll20 VTT. I will not usually have other plans that conflict with the campaign, but I will not prioritize the campaign over real life and I am looking for others with a similar mindset and willingness for flexibility and understanding. All I can ask us for us to communicate and be willing to try and reschedule when it suits us all. Feel free to message me if you think I'd be a good fit for your group.

Western Rail Barons!

One spot available for a new player who is a good fit for our group. The campaign is a recently started Western-themed post-post-apocalyptic game with lots of exploration and troupe play with the PCs running an up and coming railroad company. World lore: for hundreds of years, no one could travel out farther than they could come back the same day. Cities hunkered down and extreme isolation caused social stagnation, stratification, and cultural drift. Twenty years ago, people started being able to travel again, and an enormous boom of exploration, settlement, and land grabs began between the main surviving factions. Steam train companies are a huge, cutthroat business, with a true Rail War beginning. Necromancer robber baron knights vie with steam punk mad scientists for control of the rails! PANTHEON. Play as D&D gods.

Homebrew
Roleplay focused
PANTHEON.  “Play as the gods. Kill the Titans. shape the world.” “Then play as mortals in the world you created” Game details I'm Looking to DM a campaign where you start as gods at level one, forming into existence And killing the titans. When you're on the scale of Titans and other gods, you're just like a level 1 character. But when you interact with the material plane, you are literally a god. A high athletic check shatters a mountain. A Mold Earth cantrip can repair it. A spell like "Create water" can flood a city. You and your fellow gods create the world and will face conflicts as you create your peoples. And then, by the conclusion of that Mini campaign. we will be ready to play in a world that you understand the lore of on a very deep level because you created it. Every major city you will have created. All the Ancestry you also would have created. Your regular weapons and tools from the mini campaign will be the legendary artifacts of that world. Because of this, both campaigns will be incredibly character-driven. and require a lot of collaborative World-building. Though there will be prompts to help you. About The DM: I'm a young person living in Sydney Australia, who's just started going to TAFE for film. I love all different types of TTRPGs, and have been listening to TTRPG podcasts since I was 11. Understandably, because of this it's what I want to do forever. My favourites are Worlds Beyond Number, Knight's Quest and Dungeons and Daddies, and recently Critical Role c4. Though I know my time zone (AEDT=GMT+11) isn't the best for other countries, they are still more than welcome to join. My games are a safe space for all types of people.  Especially people with ADHD, dyslexia or dyspraxia, Indigenous people, and members in the LGBTQIA+ Community. :) Campaign(s) The Pantheon campaign Length: Mini-campaign. Schedule: Weekly Sunday (I'm open to Tuesday) 7pm to 10:30pm. Player Age: 17+ Players: 3-4 Platforms: Discord (Voice call and whiteboard.) D&D Beyond, Google Docs, Theatre of the Mind. System: D&D 5e Experience: Complete new players to Experienced DMs all are welcome and I'm willing to teach. Levels: Level 1 to Level 3 (Won't be described like you are, though.) Playstyle: Heavily focus on the rule of cool As the characters are God's. When people cast spells, they will do a lot more than what it says in the description if they are interacting with the material plane. This is the same for general actions. There'll be a lot of player good input practice if you want to try becoming a DM. Tone: Mythology, Creation stories, Wars between gods and titans. At least partially serious characters only. Joke characters, especially at this part of the story, will ruin the world because what your gods are like determines the tone of the world. The Mortals campaign Length: Average campaign Schedule: Weekly Sunday 7pm to 10:30pm. Levels: Level 3+ Playstyle: A way more traditional D&D game where you play in the world you created. The plot will probably be determined by your previous actions as gods. And how they affected the mortals down below. Tone: Any fantasy story about living in the wake of some sort of ancient time where the gods were more present in the world. We of create the tone based on what happens in the first campaign. Policy: Absolutely no bigotry in any form. There are no second chances for harassment. That includes homophobia, transphobia, Racism, Ableism and sexism and anything that Violates a boundary for a fellow player. Safety measures: we will use lines and veils at the session zero. you also can private message me if you wanna walk out at any time. As well as a bunch of other safety methods plus anything you want to add to the group. If you want to know if your time zone fits, use this. https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/ Comment or DM me if you are interested or have any questions?.

[Troika!] Enter the "Abstract Painting of TTRPGs"

LGBTQ+ friendly
Roleplay focused
Troika! Is the "Abstract Painting of TTRPGs"  It's Role play heavy and has a, interpretive and collaborative world-building style. (Weekly Sunday 7pm to 10pm latest 11pm) [Relatively long form] System: [Troika!] System details - “A game where players will travel by eldritch portal and non-euclidean labyrinth and golden - sailed barge between the uncountable crystal spheres and Demi-plane strung delicately across the hump-backed sky.” (If that didn't make sense to you, it's because it doesn't. We have to make sense out of it together, and then that's how we create the world of Troika! ) System complexity - Easy System mechanics: The system uses the D6 or 2d6 for practically all roles and has a cool mechanic, where sometimes you need to roll low and sometimes you need to roll high. Practically every type of role you will do can be summarised on a cheat sheet small enough to be part of a character sheet. So if you understand DND or any other more complicated system, you'll be fine with this. System intention: the system allows you to interpret your character in a way that makes it your own. I will then take the feedback from how you created that character and then shape the world to reflect that character then allow you to shape large parts of it. Because of this it is very player input heavy and very role-play heavy. There is also quite a bit of combat that aims to be unique and socially orientated as well as a chaotic and unpredictable magic system that can lead to disastrous and hilarious consequences. The system encourages the creative use of skills in both combat and social encounters turning problems into a combination between a puzzle and a poem. Don't be afraid by the verboseness of some of the descriptions. They're just trying to get you to look up words so you can pick which of the definitions you think applies to the moment, thus making the world more of your creation based on your interpretation. System alterations: I will alter parts about the system to make it slightly less deadly. that includes using optional rules that they present in  the rulebook and some of that includes child proofing some of the crazier rules. Though keep in mind Death is a very normal thing in the game that is expected to happen and in fact encouraged because there isn't too much upward mobility for the backgrounds and it's actively fun to make a new character. Speaking of backgrounds, I will encourage you to randomly roll one but I may allow you to re-roll multiple times if you hate the one you get it first. I'd be thrilled if anyone would want to make their own background. There are explicit rules in the game for making them and as long as you don't make anything broken I'll probably will accept it if it's interesting. In fact they explicitly tell you not to worry about balancing because as long as every background feels fun to play, you'll be right. [you don't really have to read all that.] Game details Player Age: 18 ~~ Platforms: Discord (Voice call, dice rolling and content sharing), Google Docs, Online character sheets, Theatre of the Mind. Players: 3-5 Schedule: Weekly Sunday 7pm to 10pm latest 11pm  [Relatively long form] Genre: Blurs the lines between sci-fi and fantasy And then chops it all up with a knife until it looks like a Picasso painting. Very absurdist. Contains multitudes. Tone: it will likely be light-hearted, it could be deep and emotional. It all depends on what we bring into it.  It will undoubtedly be weird. So weird that because it doesn't stop being weird, and our minds are creative in a way that makes sense of weird things, it won't seem like that all the time. A tonal reference would be Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Crossed with The Little Prince, Dr. Seuss, Adventure time, Monty Python and the quest for the Holy Grail, Stephen universe, And I guess the Lord of the rings…. But as in the Ralph Bakshi adaptation….and most of all very specifically the Ralph Bakshi movie “Wizards”.  What I bring: Editable character sheets online. Plus the Troika rulebook PDF and a bunch of pamphlet modules for the future. Everything I have though is available online. You don't have to join to get it. So you can look at it ahead of time. I would encourage reading the rules. About me: I live in Sydney Australia. I love all different types of TTRPGs, and have been listening to TTRPG podcasts since I was 11. Understandably, because of this it's what I want to do Forever. My favourites our Worlds Beyond Number, Knight's Quest and Dungeons and Daddies, and recently Critical Role c4. Though I know my time zone isn't the best for other countries they are still more than welcome to join. My games are a safe space for all types of people.  Especially people with ADHD, dyslexia or dyspraxia, Indigenous people, and members in or adjacent to the LGBTQIA+ Community. :) Absolutely no bigotry in any form. There are no second chances for harassment. Safety measures: we will use lines and vails at the session zero. you also can private message to me if you wanna walk out at any time. As well as a bunch of other safety methods plus anything you want to add to the group. If we're going to do a session this Sunday, it's going to be character creation / World building / session 0. Next Sunday will the beginning of the game though. DM me if you have any questions or are interested.

Hello my potential future players.  I have a 16-20 session self created module for you, should you be interested.  The premise of the game is that your character has been in purgatory for 100s of years because their lives were morally grey, and the gods can’t quite decide where to place your eternal souls.  The game is played mondays at 6 to 930 pm central us time. The game is very encounter based, and each chapter is a dungeon of some type.  Not all encounters are fights, obviously, some can be roleplay challenges, or skill challenges.  Or even tool challenges.  There is a fair bit of puzzle solving, especially in chapter five.  The encounters are meant to help set the theme and in some cases advance the story. Corellon has decided to recruit you to complete some missions for him,  because direct intervention has been banned by AO.  If you succeed, he will grant you redemption.  The game is broken into five chapters, each which exists independent of the other, and runs from level 4 to level 8.  Details of each mission are the google questionnaire. A little bit about me, I am in my mid 30s, and have been dipping in and out of dnd for about 25 years.  Mostly, but not entirely as a dm.  I am a fairly mellow guy, the only thing that will get under my skin in a hurry is a lack of respect for my and your fellow players' time.  If you do choose to sign up, I expect you to be on time. The game is run with the 2024 rules, any content from 2024 official books is allowed.  If you have your heart set on a class from 2014 books, and it has not been reprinted in 2024, it may be allowed on a case by case basis.  Feats/species/backgrounds all must be 2024. I use foundry vtt for my virtual table top, and I use discord for voice, but do not use video.  It is similar to roll20, but not exactly the same.  If you used roll20 before, you likely will be able to pick it up pretty seamlessly.  If not, I can help you learn the basics quickly I run games not strictly rules as written, but fairly close.  The intent is not to be a dick, but so that players know what their abilities do.  There are no surprise changes after you made your character.  I won’t decide your spell or ability is too strong and nerf it randomly.  Houserules are that each player gets one free heroic inspiration per session.  This one, and only this one, stacks with other inspirations.  Also, if your player gets knocked unconscious four times before long resting, they die. This is very unlikely to happen, and exists to dissuade recklessness to the point of absurdity.  I have run this game before, and the most we got to was two, and that was very unlucky for the player.  And finally, advantages and disadvantages “stack”.  There is no added benefit or penalty for having more, but if you have 2 advantages and one disadvantage, you get advantage, and vice versa.  I do all rolls openly, you know what the monsters roll, and you will see their dcs if they try to cast a spell on you.  Unless something changed with foundry version 13, you should be able to see their bonuses when monsters roll too.  If I tell you to roll a check, you get to know that dc as well.  The turn order will be visible to you as well.  I think the game is more fun when you have the information you need to make informed decisions. If this sounds neat to you, fill out the linked google form.  I encourage you to ask questions where space is provided.  If you are selected, we will have a brief chat before I extend a game invite.  If you are new, you are welcome, but I will have a longer conversation with you to help you build a character that works the way you imagine it does.  The game is run in English, as that's all I speak. https://forms.gle/xNrNBCdYpG7xPfvE9 Oh yes, and the game is of course, free of charge.

Aelarim||Lgbtq+ Homebrew Campaign

Homebrew
LGBTQ+ friendly
Hello hello my name is JJ, I'm 21, pronouns are they/them, and this is my first time posting on Reddit so sorry in advance if the formatting is wonky or if I did anything incorrectly. Sessions will be weekly at 5:30 pm MST Fridays. I would also be open to starting at 6pm if that would work better.  I'm looking for 4-6 players of fellow lgbtq+ folk ages 18 - 28. Any experience is welcome! After a long-term campaign coming to an end and a bit of DM burnout, I'm looking to do another campaign to remind myself what it's all about. I have been a dm since July 2021 and have had a campaign going for almost the entirety of those 4 and half years (hence the burnout).   The length of this campaign will be determined by player interest. And basically I want a campaign where the plot is mostly serious but the process and some quest bits are fun. This campaign will have a roleplay and exploration focus (of course a decent bit of combat this is dnd after all).  We will use discord for voice and roll20 for maps. So please make sure you are able to use both of those (at the same time preferably).  Campaign description:  Long ago, so long that most of history has forgotten it, *something* happened that caused the world to restart. The world rebuilt as if nothing happened, no tales, no stories remain just the knowledge that at some time, at some point, something occurred.  This would be something that would never cross the mind of the average person. Only the most devout of researchers think of this 'something' but even then they have almost nothing on this something. But then, during the beginning of the new year where suddenly, as if something was found or maybe something broke free, across the world prophets popped up all saying the same thing: "What was once forgotten shall return, O dear heroes hear my plea-" And after the word plea fell from their lips all prophets immediately passed out on the spot. When asked about it afterwards, they all could not remember the prophecy or fainting. Just a vague feeling of something entering their minds for a brief moment.  And in response to this new prophecy nations have started to steadily build armies, churches are suddenly recruiting more, and where you all come in, more people than ever have turned to adventuring. With the prophecy came dungeons. Popping up from nothing and holding glimpses to the past. Of course anyone with any interest in history is willing to pay a pretty piece for these hints to whatever that 'something' was.  Maybe you're a newfound prophet, maybe you are someone who was researching the past, maybe this was the final push to become an adventurer, maybe you're someone trying to take advantage of the chaos, maybe this has been your plan for a while and the prophecy is just a coincidence. But regardless of all that, join this world to find out secrets from the past and what they mean for the future of the realm. If all the sounds like a good fit for you here is the link to my application form:  https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScu6QryFgHDZjgDzmhdReCa7-BbUo26vvjfV-DrzTg6EUVRyw/viewform?usp=header As I do not know how many applicants I will get I cannot give an exact time for when the form will close. But if I think you are a good fit for my campaign, I will probably r each out within a day or so.

Critical Mass: Chain Reaction

Roleplay focused
Homebrew
While the tensions between the U.G.N. and The Golden Horde heighten, a party of adventurers are sent out to North Silica along the Black Silver River to uncover an ancient artifact that could change the tide of the coming war entirely. Critical Mass: Chain Reaction is a Weird Fiction / Fantasy Adventure campaign set in the homebrew setting of ATYMOS, using the D&D5.5e rules, along with custom homebrew backgrounds, species, and subclasses. The tone of this campaign is light-horror post-apocalyptic fantasy, weird fiction with a lot of geopoliticial set pieces. It will mostly follow average, everyday adventurers from the world trying to navigate it while dealing with people from various factions and nations. LGBTQIA+ characters are expected and normalized in this setting. Be prepared for strange encounters, dealing with cruel monsters, and encountering deadly NPCs and monsters. Not everything in this setting is meant to be fought, especially not by you.    REQUIREMENTS * Ability to play weekly on Wednesday, 5:30PM PST. * Access to a Discord account, and a browser. We will be using FoundryVTT as a virtual tabletop, and Discord to be able to call. * A baseline familiarity with the D&D 2024 Rules EXPECTATIONS * An interest in collaborative storytelling and roleplay * A willingness to work together with the other players and the DM * This is a 70/30 Roleplay campaign, we’ll be doing a lot of roleplaying and combat will be sparse but deadly. The main expectation is to be levelling up slowly, and facing few enemies, spending the majority of your time in roleplay and exploration encounters. To me, Exploration and Roleplay are the same. * Please try to be present for all sessions. Depending on how many players end up in the campaign (I’m looking for 3-4), we won’t have the wiggle room for characters to disappear for sessions at a time.  * I'm planning on having Session 0 on the 28th of January, starting at the regular time. * Show up without a character pre-made. This is a homebrew setting and a very specific group-goal, so I would like to work with you and the other players to create characters that work for this campaign. * While nothing is outright banned, please try and be mindful of the gameplay experience for other players, and yourself. If you try and build a character that can wipe out combat encounters in one turn but has nothing to do outside of combat, and everyone feels its unfun, expect to have a sit-down and discuss possible alternatives. * I will be experimenting with XP Leveling in this campaign, and have active discussions with players about how they feel about it. * If you have any questions about the setting or your character's place in it, I would love to have a 1 on 1 to discussion with you. * This is a given, but please be respectful to the other players. SETTING: The Setting of ATYMOS primaries takes place on the continent of Nostia, a gloomy and sodden land healing from the scars of an ancient war that ended the technological age. Cross-continental nations rise out of the ashes of the old world, and factions fight for control of pre-war resources and current day populations. Most will spend their lives living in small wooden towns, using scraps and whatever they can find to make the most out of their lives. Others are enthralled in geopolitics, working for or with various nations to help achieve larger goals or to make their way in the world. As the monsters of the Age of Heroes have adapted, so too will the citizens have to adapt, to survive in ATYMOS. You are all hired adventurers from the U.G.N., on a mission to retrieve a mysterious artifact from before the war. You will have to track it down, as the U.G.N. only know if it through whispered words and rumors, and deal with anyone else who has caught the sent of this mystery. The setting features all of the Core D&D Playable Species, along with two custom species, the Longdead and the Mechanoid.

Imagine a world where heroes like Power Rangers existed long ago, but were forced to go into hiding after a specific incident, kinda like The Incredibles. The world has been somewhat calm in the hundreds of years since the incident, and the heroes are now nothing more than legend. Now, centuries later, the powers of old call upon a new generation of heroes as the old threat, the cause of the incident, rears it's head once more to claim a world once thought to be theirs.

The small seaside town of Otari is known for its fresh fish and skilled sailors, but above all, it’s a big logging town, providing valuable wood to the nearby metropolis of Absalom. But for you, Otari is home. You grew up playing on the docks, getting lost in the nearby woods, and hearing the fantastical stories of travelers from faraway lands, tales of terrifying dragons and virtuous knights. Such adventure always seemed so distant- until today. Word has begun to spread around Otari that there's a problem down at the Otari Fishery. Some are saying that some sort of beast is lurking in the basement, feeding on the stores of salted fish. Folks are worried that whatever is eating the fish might get hungry enough to eat the fishers next! You've received a letter from Tamily Tanderveil, the owner of the Fishery. Inside is a desperate plea for help. With the town guard busy protecting the loggers, she needs a few brave souls to venture down into the basement of her warehouse and put an end to the beast that's feasting on her fish! Do you have the courage to face the menace under Otari? A short 2-4 session game of the Pathfinder 2e Beginner Box where you will be introduced to the basic mechanics of Pathfinder 2e. I have run the Box multiple times and am open to help any players learn the system. We will be playing over Discord for Voice and on Foundry for the maps and tokens. Foundry is free for players and has great automatisation for Pathfinder2e. Specific day can be negotiated with the players, but we would usually start playing at around at 7/8pm UTC+1. I accept new players to teach the system and experienced players that just want to play something small and simple, no matter from where on earth as long as you can make it to the session.

Welcome to Rought

Playtest
Horror
I've been getting a small group of players together In order to try a ttrpg system I've been working on, it's completely playable and I have a rules doc if you would like. The game itself will be classic small town horror think carie meets shadow over innsmouth. Players will be traversing between two different words, one a small town by the name of rought where nothing is truly hidden and everything is kept secret.  The other a strange sprawling city drenched in a permanent night and half sunken below the sands. As previous mentioned this is a homebrew system so you don't need to have played a lot of dnd before, but some knowledge of how a typical ttrpg functions would be necessary. Will be almost entirely rp focused as you are playing regular everyday people who have never truly interacted with the supernatural. (That will change very shortly) So if any of this interests you please pm me and I'll be happy to answer any questions you have before welcoming you to the little town of Rought.  (said like rot, as in rotting)

The Lost Pyramid - Masks of Nyarlathotep

Roleplay focused
Horror
About the campaign This scenario is one of the longest in TTRPGs. The story is about travelling the world and investigating a larger conspiracy on a global scale. The focus is roleplaying and investigation, but it will have it's moments of combay, but I don't care much for that, nor does this system itself. As it's classic to CoC, combat is deadly and the threats increase as the story progresses, so be prepared to replace PCs and create new characters and be clever to avoid death or worse, insanity. Story hook for chapter 1:   January 12th, 1921 Explorer Augusts Larkin is planning an expedition to the southern highlands of Peru, where he hopes to identify the site of a pyramid long forgotten by history. Following the discovery of a number of gold artifacts in the region, Larkin believes that he has found evidence that will lead him to their source. He is currently in Lima, planning the expedition, and is recruiting companions and possible backers. To apply DM me or check out this forms: https://forms.gle/1pPSpreLHUdsdfBA8

So before I try to dazzle you with my intro, let's go ahead and say the basics! Weekly  Fridays at 7:40 PM US Central time.  This time is not subject to change   I have roughly 9 years of experience hosting and playing dnd. All are welcome. newbs or veterans.  [How I DM] I describe my style as a democratic dictator. I will do my best to listen and cater to all players, but at the end of the day, I have the final say. I value story over combat, though we will certainly strive for both. But I do like characters that exist in the world and with their fellow adventurers.  For this game my inspirations are Banner Saga Slavic cultures Shintoism Elden ring  And a sprinkle of other influences.  It was twelve years ago when the sun god fell on his patron city of Pelor, turning wheat and marble to ash and ruin. And ever since that fatal day the times have continued to change as the world has lost communication with the great spirits.  As disasters continue across the lands, factions aspire to fill power vacuums, clerics and scholars scramble to find reason. However, many seek to simply get by.  If you have read everything. Message me your favorite character trope to lmk you're interested! [Other info] Characters must be made at sesh zero, not before  If you no call no show multiple times, you'll be dropped.  Hosted on Discord

(Aiming for 9PM AEDT start time) Hi! We’re a table of 3 and are relatively new to D&D. We’re not too picky about how the game should run but a mix of RP and Combat would be nice. We’re looking for a long-term campaign that we could run preferably once a week, but it’s all fine if that’s not possible. Really looking forward to it, were nice people I swear 🥺 DM me on discord!!! Delta Green- Dead Drops (Mondays

Delta Green is about the end of humanity. You may make it seem to be about other things from time to time. About family. About life. About the things that make us human. It has all these things, but that’s not what it’s about. It lies. Delta Green is about three people killed in a stand-off in the Mojave desert, bang, bang, bang, and a box that contained a single ingot of unknown metal labeled “SURFACE SAMPLE BUCKET 1.” Delta Green is about piecing together the string of NASA suicides and realizing that ER10911 is on a collision course with the Earth in 19 months. That your mother and father and sister and her sons have 19 months to live. That the world will be scraped clean by fire...unless.... Delta Green is about an agent, broken and mad with her screaming two-year-old strapped in the car seat, speeding away from a burning house where her husband’s corpse cooks—because it wasn’t her husband, it was something else. Delta Green is not about love. Delta Green is not about safety. Delta Green is not about reason. Delta Green is about humanity’s true place in the universe. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Greetings all, I am recruiting for a medium-length Delta Green campaign taking place on Mondays. It will be composed of the operations featured in the Dead Drops collection (Meridian, A Victim of the Art, From the Dust, Presence and Jack Frost) though I will be adding my own spin to them. If all goes well I intend to run another Delta Green campaign after this one. No prior experience required. Delta Green is a d100 system that combines the modern spy thriller with cosmic horror. As members of an illegal conspiracy within the US government, you will be watching your lives, your sanity and your career fall apart around you as you try to combat and cover up the Unnatural.

A Divine Sense

I’m running a political intrigue/exploration type campaign. This would be a world centered around High Medieval century Germany’s aesthetic and style. It’s High Fantasy with some cool magic technology to match, there’s been plenty of strife between magic users and non magic users, so in the modern day it’s been regulated to anyone practicing magic must hold a Royal Pass. At first only the Royal Mages, an elite force in the Royal Guards, carried the pass but soon the newly established Mage Guilds were permitted to test and regulate the passes. Another new development in the southern empire of Achilleia was the excavation of a tunnel into the ancient Sun Elven Dominion, allowing quests into the cursed lands to search for artifacts. Your character will be joining a Guild’s search, your character doesn’t have to be a part of the guild only that they wish to join the quest for their reasons.

Experienced Group Looking for DM!

Hey everyone! My name is Allen, but some call me Al. I am 26, and have a little over eleven years of experience as a player. We are a group of 5 players looking for a DM to run a long-term campaign, setting flexible. We have a lot of experience with 5e, and now some with pf2e, but have been interested in playing other systems like the Stars/Worlds/Cities Without Number trio of systems, possibly Starfinder, and are open to suggestions! We would like sessions to be 4-6 hours long if possible, and prefer a narrative story with some room to explore. Our experience as players ranges about a year, to veterans with a decade or two of experience. We prefer an at least moderately experienced DM who is 21 or older, LGBTQ friendly, and is open to homebrew (case by case). If you bring creativity, good plot hooks, and a bit of challenge to the table, we will respond with great character work, crafty solutions, and a collaborative story to be remembered. To apply, please follow the link below and answer a few questions for us. Please comment here when you've applied! Thank you, and we look forward to playing with you! NOTE: We are not currently looking for a paid game. Link to form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScFpkUrWqsinTYDHIkvS9LH1c6D-FebsgMynCK_mD5CXv3eUw/viewform?usp=header

Looking for one player for very long term campaign

We are currently a party of four people (1 DM and 3 players) that are looking for a fourth player. The campaign has been ongoing for 11 sessions and a player had to leave due to unforeseen factors. Currently we have a battle master fighter, a wild heart barbarian and an eloquence bard who are level 4. The campaign will take place on almost every Saturday 6 PM (CET) and we will be playing D&D 5.5E. The campaign will be a traditional mix of role play, combat and exploration. The campaign, which is called In The Wake, takes place on the continent of Varla, in the Indocrean Confederation. A seemingly sentient plague has ravaged many of the city-states of Indocrea for the last few years, killing many of the people in charge, soldiers, guards and many other competent people needed to keep a government running. In the wake of the chaos left by the plague, raids are becoming more frequent in the north and west of the Confederation. The party started their journey in a smaller town in the Confederation - one largely untouched by the chaos, but trouble is brewing, and the surrounding city-states are still in chaos. You can expect to travel the Confederation and delve deeper into the mysteries of the plague and the chaos left in its wake. We will discuss your character more and hopefully get to know you a bit more before you join. Please fill out this form if you are interested in joining (will take 4-5 minutes)! Feel free to also leave a comment here if you are interested!
