Welcome to a 4 Act game of Vampire: the Masquerade 20th edition. We will be portraying Shovelheads who start out being used in a Crusade in Orlando, Florida for the Prologue. After surviving the Orlando Crusade your nascent True Sabbat will be put into a Pack with other surviving Shovelheads and be taught enough to make you dangerous to the Camarilla and released upon Jacksonville, Florida to prepare it for the next strike the Sabbat will make against these "Kindred."  Arc 2 will be when the Sabbat take over Jacksonville with your help. At the same time, there would still be distinct kingdoms with their own cultures, fashions, and styles. Norse mythology is deeply ingrained in the world.  The lore is inspired by Nordic mythology, but it is NOT Nordic mythology. It's a full-on pantheon and history I created. Some stuff will align and match, but much will not.  The continent is vast, and thus, the distance between cities, villages, and civilizations is such that the world varies greatly, from areas with rare magic and supernatural elements to cosmopolitan cities with mixed races, magic, and wonder. The game is designed to strike a balance between drama, grim humor, and epic adventure. It's not just grimdark or silly - it'll be a mix of all. Vibe: Grimdark, high fantasy, found family, dungeon crawl I'm looking for players who enjoy the tension of resource management and clever problem-solving over "face-tanking" monsters. Anyone interest in a biweekly EST Friday evening game of rogue trader? With like 4-6 players. Played on Roll20, since I know it best. Discord for threads and comms. Basically the PCs will own/be command staff on a huge starship with like 80k crew members. It’s a city in space. So big it will have two active alien invasions on board that have been ongoing on for generations within the lower decks. The party will have a warrant granted to them that says whatever they can claim (and hold onto) in a distant expanse of the milkyway they can keep. That means solar-systems, planets, populations, resources and riches. A star barony that they can pretty much run however they want or can all agree upon. As long as they pay their tithes/taxes to the Imperium. Races for PCs are pretty wide open. I’d allow an ork (probably a merc working for gear and teef). An aeldari (space elves), a grot could be fun. A farseer Tau firewarrior with a stealth battle suit. Kroot or ogryn is on the table. The rogue trader and navigator would have to be “human”, but the rest of the crew im open. The system uses percentile dice. Not my fav but we’ll make due. The themes in the game can be pretty heavy. Think of a bad thing in RL and there are races/planets/gods doing all that and probably more. We’ll steer clear of the absolute worst of it, but just a heads up it’s a very adult game. I would personally like to see the game run iconoclast with dabblings into imperial dogma and chaos heresy. id like to see the party try to help people/xenos of the expanse more than enslave/destroy them. Unless they leave you no choice that is then dakka-dakka away. A focus on power-building self-interest over extremist ideals. Brief Description of setting: General vibe has fun daftness of a mostly at sea adventure set in a high fantasy homebrew world with some modest Lovecraftian cosmic horror aspects on serious story details while also taking some mild inspiration from Ebberon, and various comic/anime nods. Setting is based in a world with odd occurrences of rifts to various planes, usually dangerous but somewhat controlled in parts. It is a more exotic race/species friendly world, so not human or preferably not human-esk or commonly used fitting in types. In its origin and in the present some of the average in power common races would be Dragonborn, Drow, Varied Genasi, Tiefling of many coloration and minor mix, Goblinoids, Kobold, and various more animal related folk. I do play in some personalised design flavour with such eg: an aarakocra may be designed to be like a bluejay, robin or cardinal. Other bigger world history topics enlightening more to the lack of human populace, cosmic phenomenon and certain hostilities/indifferences between other types of species can be discussed. I try to make good use of character backgrounds and their species connections to world to fuel story, adding and altering as things evolve. On going Party: Water Genasi Warlock- making up for Deep sea cultist history. Kalashtar (Differently designed in origin via other species mix) Blood hunter - dealing with corrupted memory and past related to kidnapping. Fairy Bard - consciousness escaped from a variant of the deck of many Void card and found her body remains minimal in a clockwork toy. Story in motion: The group of female adventurers began on the docks of a central city of my own homebrew world with former players who each had life causes need for taking leave though still their characters are regarded as npc in story. The group has since made their way on seas with strange encounters and new understandings of phenomena linking them. When venturing on the ocean floor after backstory relevant face offs and timeline altering's the group gradually bonded further before having to take on a mission off world in aid of a friend's plight. When the game is:  Fortnightly Sunday eves 5 till 10, start and end is likely a bit in ways of player chatter and ease on to timing of game if we get straight in may end early at time, but either way we usually have mini break. Intro to Terra If you’re coming from Faerûn, think of Terra as a vast continent that used to feel like one big, functioning empire. A tradition of feudalism, with noble "High Lord" houses ruling over their regions. All offering allegiance to a central authority, the most powerful noble house, Arista, and crowned it's leader as the First Lord. So the Legend Goes At the dawn of this world, the Gods watched our people struggle to survive in an unforgiving world - Early settlements decimated by violent storms. Explorers slaughtered by ferocious beasts. To have a chance at survival, these benevolent Gods gifted the lands with powerful spirits. And for the inhabitants, an ability to bond with these spirits. As these lands were conquered, creatures brought over were quickly surpassed by Humans, who found they could tame and even command these spirits. For thousands of years, these settlers fought and struggled to secure as much power for themselves as possible. Anarchy, chaos, and endless bloodshed, with the most vulnerable most at risk. It was not until those wielding the most powerful elemental magic banded together that law and order was able to form. Rather than fighting each other, they spread across the lands in a uniform effort to end the violence. Forming what are now known to be the High Lords of Terra. Hello fellow and mighty adventurers! Let me tell you my story I am a 26M native from France, and an amateur GM (1 year of experience), and I started not so long ago my own party of TTRPG in english since I got lot more time to consacre to it. Hello! We are a tight-knit group of 6 very experienced D&D Players who are looking for a DM to run the module Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen! We are wanting to play on Thursdays from 3pm-7pm CDT (GMT-5). There may be some wiggle room but we are pretty set on this as its the consensus that had been reached for 6 people, a feat already hard enough as it is. Hello everyone! My name is Beau, I'm 27, FtM, and use he/they pronouns. I'm looking to run a homebrew DND5E campaign in person for 5-6 players. I am more than okay with new players and happy to teach what I know, since I’ve been playing for almost ten years now! I've been a DM before and used the same campaign setting; I loved it but never got to finish due to scheduling issues.  What I’m looking for: 5-6 players, LGBTQ friendly is a MUST (you don’t need to be in the community, just an ally), 21 years or older, any skill level, any gender. Homebrew races and classes are allowed so long as they’re run by me first. We will be starting at level 5, multiclassing is allowed! Location/Time: Phoenix, AZ. Will be held at Gamer’s Guild in the Phoenix location every other Saturday, time TBD but in the afternoon/evening. No-Gos: Under 18 years old are absolutely not permitted. Between 18 and 21 may be considered based on needs and comfort of the group, but it makes me personally uncomfortable because of the age gap.  -Any harassment of or fighting out of character with other players will be grounds for removal.  -Consent is key - Flirting in character is fine, so long as everyone is comfortable with it. No means no. Adult, questionable, and/or steamy scenes will fade to black at the table, but outside roleplay is welcome between players. -Due to a deeply ingrained piece of lore and several plot lines, players are restricted from playing any Underdark races. The Setting: high fantasy, high magic world with multiple developed countries/nations including their own lore, laws, and demographics. Much of this campaign will take place in a region that’s been heavily magically altered and even corrupted. Though most regions are a melting pot of all races, many originate from one location or another, so the race you play may determine where your character was born or where they have family. Legends say that there used to be dragons just roaming about, living peacefully amongst mortal races, seen flying overhead on the daily. But for around 500 years, true dragon sightings have been a rarity, and only the golden dragon has been spotted in that time. The Plot: For as long as even the eldest elves can remember, Ipica has been split into three regions, each stuck in a separate time and space. And for just as long, scholars have tracked the slow creep of corruption twisting the eastern shores of the land. There’s historical writings of something called the World Tree hidden deep within Eastern Ipica - could it be involved somehow? Now that the crawling, strangling vines and chilling shadows have reached the edges of major and minor cities alike, local and national governments have decided that something needs to be done about it. But legislators aren’t equipped to run into what used to be wild fae land and is now something much more confusing and unknown - that’s where our adventurers come in. Trekking through bone-chilling lands populated by things seen just out of the corner of your eye, fighting previously unimagined horrors and keeping each other alive in the dark winter of Eastern Ipica… It all takes incredible skill and trust in your fellow man. But how can you trust anyone when you’ve seen what these wilds are capable of producing? Hello friends and neighbors. I'm here because I'm recruiting for a brand new, long-running low-to-high fantasy adventure in an original setting. Players will take the role of fledgling adventurers, normal, everyday people called by circumstance or wanderlust to embark upon the journey of a lifetime. They'll cross through strange lands, become embroiled in quests of earth-shaking importance, meet strange and wondrous people and most of all, become who they were meant to be. Think Frieren, Witch Hat Atelier, Name of the Wind, or the video game Wildermyth if you want an idea of the aesthetic inspirations. The story will begin in the sleepy town of Drecorshire, a rustic village out in the woods that's about to have a very, very strange visitor pass through. As for where it'll go from there... well, you don't want me to spoil the surprise! A bit about myself: I'm 28 years old, he/him, and I'm an author and game writer with over a decade of DM experience, most of it online. I've run a variety of systems, from good old 5e to Pathfinder to WoD to PTBA to Godbound to Cain to Blades in the Dark and so on. I love storytelling and worldbuilding and collaborating with players to tell long, emotional and intensive stories that surprise and delight us all. For this game, we'll be running Legend in the Mist, a fiction-first fantasy roleplaying game that focuses on the use of Tags to allow players to define their characters and capabilities. This system allows for really robust and detailed character customization and I'm so excited to see what people come up with it! If you've never played it before, that's totally fine. We'll all learn together. We'll be using Roll20 for rolls and character sheets, and discord for voice chat. Rules and Other Things in a Handy Itemized List: We will be meeting weekly at 8pm EST on Tuesdays, and will usually be playing for about 2 and a half to three hours. This is, unfortunately, non-negotiable. If one player is missing from a session, we will play anyway. If two or more are missing, we cancel for that week. Normally I operate on a three-strike rule for no-call no shows, but I reserve the right to give people the boot earlier than that if there's a pattern of disrespect for the other players' time. I run long games that meet consistently, and I'm able to do that because I'm kind of ruthless about this stuff. All player characters will start the game as more or less ordinary humans, though there's a little wiggle room for 'human with some innate mystical characteristics' if you want. If you find that limiting, I understand, but I would also offer for your consideration that all the most interesting people I've ever met are humans, and you are too. Player characters will begin the campaign as fairly mundane people, not seasoned warriors or adventurers - think farm boys, amateur alchemists, petty conjurers, hedge squires, good women of the woods, noble's daughters run away in search of adventure, that sort of thing. That's not to say they can't be older or have seen a thing or two, only that they ought to have room to grow. More information about the world will be forthcoming, but for now you can consider it to be a very hazy, vibes-based big tent fantasy setting with quite a lot in it. I love incorporating player ideas into my worldbuilding, so as you consider your character, brainstorm away! Be creative! (Within the bounds of the rules above established, natch.) I'm really nice. That's not really a rule, I just wanted to get it in there, I pride myself on being a very chill, calm and approachable person. The dice used depends on the scene; 2d6 for narrative social scenes, and d20 for combat. From Monster of the Week (and other PbtA games), I established fixed success and failure tiers and borrowed World of Darkness' flexible skill and stat combinations. Skills combine with stats to reflect how your character approaches a task rather than just what they're doing — the same Firearms skill reads differently depending on whether you pair it with Dexterity to shoot, Intelligence to analyze, or Charisma to do a trick. The setting of this game operates in a certain Nobledark register — the world is genuinely dark, institutions are corrupt by design, and change is essentially beyond reach. What isn't beyond reach is personal change, small resistances, and the decision to act with integrity in a world that punishes it.

DM looking four players for a new series of 5.5e one-shot games for "Faster, Purple Worm! Everybody Dies, Vol. 1."  We meet weekly Thursday nights in person. Committed and mature players (21+) welcomed. Sessions run for about three hours, starting at 7 PM and wrapping up around 10. We use Beyond for character sheets and a private Discord for communication.

Online Using Discord and Foundry. Game is 7PM PST on Sunday April 12th I backed the new Kickstarter and I'm eager to give Nimble a try. I have run 300+ hours on R20 but Foundry has the Nimble module so I'll be trying that for the first time as well. Characters will start at lvl 3. I anticipate the game will run 3-4 hours, but I havent played nimble before so it might be faster or slower than expected. The Toll-Master's Crypt A one-shot adventure for 3-5 players, set in the world of Aenothis. The goddess Nysira is dead. You were in Bellmere when it happened. The blessed around you dropped where they stood, no warning and no explanation. That was this morning. By afternoon, the refugees started arriving from the east. They say Eryx's army has taken Elyndral. The capital has fallen along with its god. The army marches west, and in two days it reaches Bellmere. The Adventurers Guild is swamped. The portal network is overwhelmed. Not everyone will escape in time. Half the city is in the streets devolving more and more into a mob by the minute. The people you care about are looking to you, and there is nowhere safe to take them. Except one possibility.
