I'm MannyWatcha i'm looking for a game where I can have fun be myself be casual with a bunch of adults and play some dnd. I'm a returning player for 5e i haven't played dnd in a while but have been watching alot of dnd and ttrpg's lately and been wanting to get back into playing dnd again. I am mostly looking for a space type campaign. Migh thave to relearn some rules but i have some gist and past experience how to play the game. I really wanna play dnd again so if anyone has a open table for me i am accepting. Perferably would like to be at a table with 21+ players. Hopping to join in a space themed campaign i already have ideas for what character i wanna use. I'm an adult, with access to a few books online on roll or can gain acccess other places. I really wanna play dnd based off of Neon Odyssey or The world of IOS if you know what those are, exploring some maybe campaings based in space. But i am not limited to that i would be down for some classsic fantasy. Exploring and maybe some one offs. I'm very comfortable with playing with anyone but be sure to tell me about yourself the table rules and give me your red flags.

I’m a 22/M looking to join a D&D group that plays any time Monday–Thursday (evenings preferred) and occasionally Friday. Weekends are usually tough for me due to a family that believes dnd is the devil, but it IS possible. I’ve played in one one-shot before, but I’ll be honest, I didn’t get much of a chance to actually play due to being talked over a lot (and a d100 roll that gave everyone some random ass effect and im the only one who got anything remotely negative [if i spoke without rhyming i would get struck by lightning], but thats besides the point). So while I’m technically newer to live play, I’ve spent a ton of time learning the game and building characters. I am in another campaign that I've kinda started, but the dm has gone on vacation for the summer, and I have no real scope on when they'll return. I have done around 10 or so sessions with them and know how to use DND tools now, so... I absolutely love D&D. In my spare time I create characters constantly, I have at least one concept ready for nearly every class, and I’m more than happy to fill whatever role a party needs, as long as I get to play the game. I’m open to long-term campaigns, ongoing groups needing an extra player, or starting fresh.

Hello, my name is Threydan and i am looking for a game for me and my friend to join. I am 22 and my friend is 24. We have both played a good understanding of the rules and have some experience under our belt (my friend more than me). We were hoping to find a game that is both serious but also light hearted. In other words: we wanna take the game serious, but we also wanna have the space to goof off and do silly things. In terms of combat/roleplay we hope for around a 50/50. 60/40 or 40/60 works for us too. We hope to join a new campaign, but are okay with one that has been going for a few sessions. We both have characters in mind we wanna play, not fully fledged out though as we would still wanna make sure our characters fit the setting and party. My friend is planning on playing a sorcerer and i'm planning on playing a wizard. The dynamic we hope to go for is a sort of rivalry, where we both try to say that our class is better and try to one up eachother, along with some banter. Naturally though we don't want to overdo this as we don't wanna hog the spotlight for the 2 of us and we wanna interact with the rest of the party as well. Lastly some technical details. Heyo, I'm Bo, 30 and queer. Been playing DND since 2019 ish, haven't had the chance to explore other systems and DND somehow always seems the easiest to find a game for. I only recently decided to try voice games as I've been playing through live text usually. Critical Role is what got me into dnd and rpg stuff but I've been loving Bards of New York lately, and when I say lately it's been over a year of constantly watching their stuff. Other than that I love Witcher, Dragon Age, Skyrim obviously, fantasy is my main genre I think, though I like watching sci fi movies and shows. Bioshock Infinite is another games I love and I love horror media, just not a fan of slashers and very gore focused things, which is why Mike Flanagan's stuff is my favorite but also I say that and yet zombie media is also something I enjoy so lmao. I usually prefer RP over combat but I figured combat can be very useful to test your creativity and problem solving as well, just not looking to solely be focused on that. I'm in the gmt+2 timezone, usually prefer evening games in my time and currently Saturday evenings are occupied by me DM-ing. I would also like to add that I have a pretty old laptop and I'm pretty sure most if not all VTTs just don't work on it, if that's a must for games.

With DnD I never had a chance to get a playgroup or do more than plan, plot, and dream up characters. I have plenty of ideas and a desire to express/explore them amongst others when possible! With Magic the Gathering, I've had a decent amount of experience and interest, having made multiple decks and played amongst competive ranking friends with decent results. In terms of overral pathfinder experience, I played in one normal pathfinder game, one game using mythical power, and one using pathfinder spheres of power. So I can play any game of pathfinder using those, I am mostly interrest in using spheres of power, but its not mandatory; I can play without it. We are a beginner-friendly D&D Discord community with over 50 members, originally started as a small helping/tutorial server for new players who wanted to get into D&D without having to pay for anything. The server is still very welcoming to beginners, but experienced players are also invited, especially if you enjoy roleplay, storytelling, helping newer players learn the game, or even running your own sessions. At the moment, we have a core group of active members, with people playing or interacting almost daily. We currently run two main types of games: 1. Adventurers Guild / West Marches-inspired one-shots This is our open-table system. I created an Adventurers Guild that posts bounties, missions, and one-shot adventures. Players can join when they are available, without needing to commit to a long campaign from the start. These games mostly use D&D 5e 2024 rules, but 2014 content and homebrew may also be allowed, depending on the DM. 2. Classic homebrew campaigns Other members can also become DMs, post their own campaign ideas, gather 4–6 players, and run their own homebrew campaign in their own channel. This can be in our shared universe or in a completely separate custom setting. My personal DM style is more focused on roleplay, story, atmosphere, and fun character moments rather than strict rules or overly complicated combat. I am very open to helping new players learn and giving people a relaxed space to try D&D. Most of my sessions are usually in the evening, around 19:00–20:00 until 23:00–00:00 GMT+2, but we also have people from different time zones, so other games may happen at different hours depending on the DM and group. Hello. I have been playing D&D 5e for 2 years, looking for a weekly game whether in 5e or 5.5e. Preferably evenings in the weekends, as I am available after 6 PM EST. Definitely can commit to a consistent weekly game night provided that if 1) IRL does not throw a wrench my way or 2) game is canceled. I enjoy a game where it is combat focused, in no way I am against roleplaying, could mix it up between the two. I am okay with character death, and games whether its homebrew, or official or games converted from different modules. My favorite class to play is the fighter and my go to favorite is the cavalier, a classic knight on horse subclass that defends his party and lives by his own code.

I run and have played in a wide range of game systems and one‑shot adventures. The games I've played span everything from classic fantasy quests to chaotic goblin shenanigans, sci‑fi mysteries, supernatural westerns, and plenty more in between. Hi there! I'm a mature player looking for a game with people who love the comraderie of roleplay. I enjoy a game that is heavy RP balanced with combat, problem solving, political intrigue, travel, survival or whatever aspects the GM wants to put our merry band up against. I'm in your world now. Play Style: I'm serious about having fun. I'm low maintenance and I fit well into most groups that are focused on the campaign at hand. I'm a stickler about showing up on time to every session. I put a good effort into making my characters fun for the other players as well as the GM. I'm not much of a min/maxer. I don't know the powerful builds as I tend to add to my characters in a manner consistent with their back story. I write modest back stories and try to include multiple hooks that the GM might choose to use somewhere along the road. I prefer to see a good story or interesting outcome rather than fuss over rules. I tend to get in character and stay in character for an entire session. I'm not adverse to long sessions, provided we have appropriate intermissions. Themes: I'm less interested in horror, more interested in high fantasy settings. Experience: I haven't played much for two or three years, so I'll need a bit of help getting back up to speed. I know nothing about 5e 2024 rule changes. I'm generally a quick study and willing to learn anything new. I'd prefer a DnD 5e 2014 game, but would be willing to learn 2024 and I do have some experience with PF2e. I have GMed homebrews in 5e on several occasions, but my first choice is to participate as a member of the party. I prefer Foundry VTT, but I have participated in past games using Roll20 and DndBeyond. I have fairly in depth knowlege of the inner workings of FVTTv12/13. Prefered Times: I'm in Ontario Canada (UTC-4) and would prefer games that were afternoons or evenings local time. North American games or evening UK/EU games can fit my schedule nicely. My schedule is fairly open, so I'm easy to accommodate. My ideal schedule would be a weekly game of at least 3-4 hours. My Setup: I have a nice quiet office and professional studio quality audio chain. I don't have a web cam. Hello I am bubbles I am 25+ years of age, looking for games in 2014 5E. I am a roleplayer first but enjoy combat a fair bit. I like immersing myself in the worlds as my character and am big into DND lore. I can fill just about any role you need me to in a party dynamic with character concepts for just about any of them. I like making weird builds to do Niche things, rather than focusing on explicitly efficiency / power. I am most used to roll20 but am willing to learn other VTT's if nessesary so long as I have someone who can walk me through it I am not looking for a game in 5.5e / 2024 or whatever we are calling it now and am not looking for play-by-post games, I am looking for voiced games which allow for me to role play. My schedule is awful to say at least and with my off days never being on the same days, the best I can do is work around the hours I have. So, that means that I can only really play after work. And I get off work at 11 PM EST, basically every day since I'm the closing shift! Apart from that however, I can play on any day and I can stay up late to play in the early morning. Hello, I am a 20-year-old (He/Him) from Canada with an interest in TTRPGs, particularly D&D 5e and Call of Cthulhu 7e. I am fairly knowledgeable with both systems as I frequently watch campaigns online, have read the rulebooks for both systems, and am a player in a CoC 7e campaign and a D&D 5e campaign. I'm a completely new player. I've experienced a bad session of DnD once (started level 20) but really want to give it a go. Other groups I attempt to join say they don't want to hand hold me and drop me because I'm new and have little knowledge of dnd. Got recommended this site to possibly find a new group willing to take me in.

hello! i'm a brand new player looking for online group(s) to learn from. i only know a little about DND from podcasts and videos, but i am more than willing and wanting to learn. i'm available sundays and mondays, or any time after 10pm EST tues-sat (work). i prefer discord as my platform! i tend to enjoy playing some sort of goofy character in really anything i do.

I've been playing D&D since my childhood in the early 80's and try my best to re-engage the board game/improv troupe I associate with the best expressions of role playing games. I like voice acting, playing in-character and making sessions a mix of gameplay, making friends and holding spance to let their imaginations run free with safety and advocacy. I'm happy to run games for your group in 5E/5.5E. I'm proficient with D&D Beyond, and will include music/sfx in our games and also make maps with Inkarnate. I'm interested to play games in Foundry/Forge and Roll20 where the use of dynamic lighting and other api features are highlighted. I would like to learn other RPG systems like Shadowdark and Daggerheart. I'm also interested in playing more Starfinder/Pathfinder and Star Wars!

I have some experience playing DND as well as other systems I happen to understand a lot of the rules and am willing to play with newer dms if able. Ideally I play cause I to would like to write my own campaign and dm one day but for now I wish to play with other. I'm am down for anytype of game wether Horror, casual, high fantasy, sci-fi or modern. My very first campaign actually happened right in a classroom—our history teacher walked us through Middle-earth. I still remember playing a hobbit (well, trying to), alongside elves and dwarves, finding our way through a world that felt so much bigger than us. I didn’t even realize it then, but I was hooked for good. Over the years, the way I play has been totally shaped by some amazing tables that inspired me, like Critical Role and Dimension 20. That whole journey eventually led me to Dungeons & Dragons, which became my go-to system—though I’ve happily wandered through others like Tormenta 20, Pathfinder 2e, The Strange, and Call of Cthulhu too. At the table, I’m pretty outgoing and love jumping into the story. I try to be present in the scene, help give the story room to breathe, and make sure everyone around the table gets their moment to shine. For me, RPGs are magic—that special kind of alchemy where a group turns imagination into a living story, faces challenges together, and creates something none of us could’ve made alone. When I’m not rolling dice, I’m usually training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, gaming, or hanging out with my dog Gaspar (who, in my completely unbiased opinion, is the handsomest good boy in this realm). Good stories, good rolls, and good company—that’s what keeps me going. Hey! I'm Juxu (M19) looking for a group to play DND with for the first time. I have, however, read the Player’s Handbook and watched DND campaigns, so I know most of the basics as well as some more advanced rules, and I am familiar with the different classes, subclasses, etc. I’m mostly available on weekends or during GMT-3 weekday afternoons. It would be very unlikely for me to not show up at the session! I enjoy the roleplay aspects of DND, the big character moments, exploration and lore, the political intrigue and how the player actions influence the world. I particularly like when details of a character's background are used in the campaign and are a big focus of the story--if, of course, everyone at the table is getting included and also has their big moments. I do note I have nothing against combat. Exploring creepy ruins and fighting big bads across a detailed world would also be very enjoyable. A character idea I had, for example, was that of a Lorwyn Changeling - Ranger (Swarmkeeper); Druid (Circle of Spores) - that has a colony of sentient spores that wants to spread their hive-mind, just to give an example of what I might conjure up! Though I would always make sure the GM is fine with the character concept and backstory, and I have no problem adjusting. Thanks for reading.

I consider myself an immersion-first kind of player, I like to make my decisions in character with the same thought process my characters would if possible. Not to say that I'm not "above" superceding my characters' "own" decision if needed, but that's how I like to play when convenient. I tend to like to play as characters that I've conceptualized beforehand, but deliberately make a bit hollow initially so that I can customize them to better fit within any campaign I might find myself joining.

Hello everyone! my name is Blair, and I am a player looking for more games to play! my schedule just recently opened up, and i need to roll dice and tell some stories! a bit about me: a bulk of my TTRPG experience comes from playing 2014, but i do have experience playing other systems as well, such as Candela Obscura, Daggerheart, Pathfinder, and I've even played a homebrew version of DND. when it comes to me as a player, i do tend to play spellcasters, it just intrigues me a lot more than the martial classes, and when I do play martial classes, i always give them limited magic. I'm also a pretty respectful tablemate, i try to give my fellow players a chance to get involved. along with that, I do engage in romance, both PC and NPC, just depends on whether or not the table is down with that! oh, speaking of romance, i am Queer and trans! with the world that we exist in, I find that it is better for my table to know that upfront than learn that not only am I not cis but also, I like both boys and girls, it's just a fact of life. with that you must be a Queer and trans friendly table as well as a disabled friendly table since I am disabled as well! now to move onto a gm I would prefer: typically, how I'd parse out a potential good GM for me to play under, is I'd do a one-shot with them and see if we're a good fit, and if we can have good conversation, but considering the nature of a post like this, I am willing to forego that! that being said, you still need to have the following: be America-based and even more specifically be CST-based- since I am based in North America, I just can't do uber late games. it's not good for my mental health, and it causes me to be a terrible person for responding to DMs. RP skills - this doesn't mean that you shouldn't at least try to incorporate combat in your sessions but i need those RP skills sharpened to the max! homebrew vs. Module - I am willing to play a module but i would prefer a homebrew world. it shows that you are more than willing to be flexible with your players' stories and want to share that creativity with the world at large. recording vs basic home game - I am very okay and do consent to a recorded game, considering i have been in a few actual plays! that, however, does not mean that i will turn my nose up at a basic home game, in fact that is one of my favorites!
