Root the RPG from (Magpie Games) is the RPG based off the Board game from (Leader Games.) The adventures are anthropomorphic critters in a low-tech none magical world where bears and deers and some other woodland animals are dangerous but may not be the biggest problem your party comes up against.  This is a game of Woodland Might & Right. Where you and the other PC play as vagabonds. Career specific (but not set in stone) woodland wanders working to handle the problems of factions fighting secrete wars and not-so-secrete wars, solving delicate situations of local magistrates and trying not to make more enemies then you can manage, while exploring the dangerous woodland and becoming entangled in the known 'clearings' - cities filled with denizens and trouble aplenty.

Welcome to The Last Night, a sci-fi horror TTRPG about fear, hope, dread, regret, victory, revulsion, and relief. The world is dying, and most people have learned to look away. Governments lie, obscure, and distort to keep people in line. Monsters stalk the shadows. Demons wear human suits and spread corruption. You still have a choice. Choose hope or fall to despair. In Skindeep, you and a few unlucky others will find yourselves stranded on an island gone mad. Creatures, mutants, rogue machines, and things that used to be human are hunting you. Some want to kill you. Some want to study you. Some want to see what you are made of, literally. Find allies. Find shelter. Find a way off the island. Reach out if this interests you. Please introduce yourself and tell me why you love RPGs. Game Stats System: The Last Night, a custom PbtA-style sci-fi horror game Format: Online Players Wanted: 1 player. We currently have 3 players and are building a group of 4. Campaign Length: 10–15 sessions Session 0: July 12th (you'll need time to get settled and learn the game) Game Day: Sundays, 11am–3pm Pacific Schedule Note: We may skip some weeks to accommodate player schedules. Tone: Sci-fi horror, survival, investigation, body horror, desperate hope Focus: Character choices, exploration, danger, moral pressure, and cinematic horror Experience: Experienced roleplayers preferred. The Last Night may be too much for brand-new players, but new to PbtA is completely fine. The GM will teach you everything. Table Setup We use Foundry VTT for maps, scenes, tokens, and gameplay support. Maps are made with love in Inkarnate, and voice is handled through Discord. The Last Night also has a dedicated setting website with rules and lore, plus a companion app for character creation and in-game tracking. I use curated music playlists through Discord to build mood and atmosphere. Visuals in-game only are supported with AI-art for creatures and assets that are unique to The Last Night. Other visuals are produced with Inkarante and Heroforge. If some use of AI-art is a deal break, no need to reach out :) What I'm Looking For I'm looking for a player who enjoys horror, atmosphere, character choices, and tense survival stories. You do not need to know the setting ahead of time. The game is built so you can discover the world through play. Please make a character who wants to survive, can work with others, and still has some reason to care. Content Notes This game may include body horror, monsters, mutation, violence, paranoia, corrupt systems, unethical experiments, and frightening situations.The goal is horror and tension, not misery for its own sake. Characters can suffer, struggle, and make terrible choices, but hope matters in The Last Night.

Hi all! My name’s Arian(she/her) and I’m looking for 2 players to play the Between ttrpg. There are 2 more players in the group and we’ve had like 3 sessions. I’m looking for more players because of scheduling issues. I’d like to run weekly sessions, even if some of the players are missing. I’m aiming for a short season of 12 or so sessions. What is the Between? It’s a game where you play as monster hunters in Victorian-era London. You will learn about various threats in the city and try to neutralize them, in one way or the other. But it seems that there’s a mastermind behind the curtains who’s seeking to bring the Crown to its knees. The Between is directly inspired by Penny Dreadful tv show, as well as other British horror media. The Between is a powered by the apocalypse game, but the mystery element is inspired by Brindlewood Bay game which means there’s no set solution to any mystery and we will be making up theories and rolling to see if they’re correct or not. Please make sure you’re ok with that. The Between is a game that is quite dark. We will absolutely be using Lines and Veils, but dark themes such as body horror, dark sexual themes, murder of children and animals, blasphemy, witchcraft, foul language are part of the game and can’t be avoided. Day and time: 7 pm GMT + 5 Saturday. Please be sure to check that you’re ok with the time. Where: discord for voice, roll20 for everything else. It will be theatre of the mind, mostly. Session lengths: 3 hours, give or take. Weekly. Tone of the campaign: serious, with minimal jokes and humour. The Between’s PCs are moody, intriguing and torn by their mysterious past. Absolutely no bigotry or hate will be tolerated from any players. This game is lgbt+ inclusive and I’m queer myself.  Who am I? I’m 34, I’m passionate about fantasy and sci-fi books and games of all kinds! Also I paint a lot. English isn’t my first language, so that’s something you need to be aware of. I love ttrpgs since I love making up stories with cool people and I’ve been playing since 2020.  Who am I looking for? Please be 20+. You don’t have to be familiar with the system, we’ll learn together, but please be interested in learning. Please be ready to commit to these 12 or so sessions. Life happens and it’s ok, but if you know you won’t be able to make it to games consistently, it won’t be a game for you. I’d like to play with people who actively want to create stories with others and don’t just wait to be entertained. In the Between, you’ll need to actively narrate the Unseen scenes, set up your own scenes and narrate your scenes from the past, so you’ll have to be ok with that.

Recruitment Post: Urban Shadows in a Gritty, Divided Chicago Looking for a 4th(maybe a 5th aswell) Player for Urban Shadows - Political Horror in a Supernatural Chicago (we had someone dropout last minute due to a schedualing conflict, so we'll be doing a short session 0.1 hopefully this Thursday) Game: Urban Shadows 2nd Edition (Powered by the Apocalypse). Schedule: Weekly or Bi-Weekly, Thursdays 6-7 PM PST start time. Platform: Discord for voice, with optional support from Roll20. Materials: All core books and supplements provided via Google Drive. Tone: Street-level, morally complex political horror. Think the factional intrigue of The Wire meets the supernatural grit of The Dresden Files. This game explores hard compromises and characters with significant flaws. Players should be comfortable with dark themes and interpersonal tension. The Pitch: The Chicago Accords are rotting from the inside. The ancient treaties that keep the vampire courts, fae gentry, infernal powers, and mortal institutions from open war are strained to breaking point. Power vacuums form, whispers of spiritual corruption grow louder, and every faction is making a move in the shadows. You will play a flawed operator in this landscape, bound by Debts and desperate needs, trying to survive a city that consumes the weak. Current Characters Danny Deval, The Imp (Wild)     A shrewd and amoral supernatural artifact dealer. His establishment is a front for a thriving interdimensional trade in dangerous, exotic goods. He's always looking for the next big score to stay ahead of his creditors and the powerful & ambitious vampire lord of the White Court, Yakov Pritzker, who seeks to re-enslave his entire family. Isaiah Toomes, The Hunter (Mortalis)     An ex-cop turned dedicated demon hunter, hardened by the betrayal and traumatic death of his infernal-corrupted partner. His mission is now fueled by a zealous, specific prejudice against demons and infernal bloodlines, which he views as a corrupting plague to be purged. He's a workaholic struggling to protect the city while his family life crumbles. Coven, The Spectre (Night)     A merged entity of two spirits: a vengeful dead prophet and a tragically killed student. This unstable detective exists between worlds, investigating supernatural disturbances and fighting to protect the people and places that still tether them to the living. The City Awaits Your character will be integrated into the story from the first session, with established Debts tying you into our web of dangerous relationships. You'll enter a city where major factions—like the political White Court vampires, the ancient Fae, various demonic powers, the infernal Chicago Outfit, the mortal enforcers of The Old Standard, and the secretive holy order of The Covenant of Thornes — are all active players. There is room to build new factions together as your character helps sculpt the city's landscape.     How to Apply: Please send me a DM with:     Your experience with TTRPGs, particularly narrative games (PbtA, FitD, etc.).     A your assurance that you are on board with a darker, morally complex tone & intercharacter conflict.     I'm not interested in lone wolves even our Hunter has familial ties to the city.
