Hey! I'm Wren, I'm a pretty experienced TTRPG player who unfortunately had to leave my previous games when I moved abroad for university, so I'm looking for some new ones. I'm studying Linguistics and Anthropology, I speak 7 languages (EN, NL, FR, CSB, DE, JP, LA) and I love cooking/baking, reading, hiking and playing the flute. I tend to like more social-based, political, mysterious and investigative campaigns with more of a focus on roleplay and developing interesting and interactive relationships with NPCs and PCs alike. As someone who's done theatre and improv since I was a child, I'm very comfortable inhabiting lots of different characters and archetypes and I never play just one sort of personality type. Taking centre stage and thinking on my feet come very naturally to me too, and I always make sure to keep roleplay grounded in the setting and context. I prefer to play a supporting role in terms of combat though, as I love seeing the combined actions of myself and my party members form something greater than the sum of its parts. Hello everyone! my name is Blair, and I am a player looking for more games to play! my schedule just recently opened up, and i need to roll dice and tell some stories! a bit about me: a bulk of my TTRPG experience comes from playing 2014, but i do have experience playing other systems as well, such as Candela Obscura, Daggerheart, Pathfinder, and I've even played a homebrew version of DND. when it comes to me as a player, i do tend to play spellcasters, it just intrigues me a lot more than the martial classes, and when I do play martial classes, i always give them limited magic. I'm also a pretty respectful tablemate, i try to give my fellow players a chance to get involved. along with that, I do engage in romance, both PC and NPC, just depends on whether or not the table is down with that! oh, speaking of romance, i am Queer and trans! with the world that we exist in, I find that it is better for my table to know that upfront than learn that not only am I not cis but also, I like both boys and girls, it's just a fact of life. with that you must be a Queer and trans friendly table as well as a disabled friendly table since I am disabled as well! now to move onto a gm I would prefer: typically, how I'd parse out a potential good GM for me to play under, is I'd do a one-shot with them and see if we're a good fit, and if we can have good conversation, but considering the nature of a post like this, I am willing to forego that! that being said, you still need to have the following: be America-based and even more specifically be CST-based- since I am based in North America, I just can't do uber late games. it's not good for my mental health, and it causes me to be a terrible person for responding to DMs. RP skills - this doesn't mean that you shouldn't at least try to incorporate combat in your sessions but i need those RP skills sharpened to the max! homebrew vs. Module - I am willing to play a module but i would prefer a homebrew world. it shows that you are more than willing to be flexible with your players' stories and want to share that creativity with the world at large. recording vs basic home game - I am very okay and do consent to a recorded game, considering i have been in a few actual plays! that, however, does not mean that i will turn my nose up at a basic home game, in fact that is one of my favorites!

I started playing when I was 10 years old back when my father designed a simple TTRPG system for me to enjoy and spend time together. Ever since, I fell in love with the hobby and introduced many players into homebrew systems and even got them to read and play actual systems after several years of gaming. I focus heavily on informed improvisation and adjusting to my player's wishes, as well as introducing them into the narrative both by their backstory or the future events being related to themes and character arcs. I used to dislike D&D but after having an actually good experience (which took a while, since I had several poor ones before) I started to DM for the most popular system and learnt how to love it. I'm willing to play with groups of any ages 18+ or people around my age, so long as no one is a creep. I am quite a newbie when it comes to D&D, but I understand the basics, and I am open to criticism and advice since I am quite new. I'm looking for a queer-friendly group (had too many experiences where people called me slurs when my sexuality came up). I love horror, so a campaign with some horror would be nice, but if there isn't any horror, that's fine. I'd just love to find some buddies to play TTRPGs with.

I'm kinda new at d&d have been wanting to play since I was 10 now I'm 16 and going to turn 17 soon. I've also only played 4 sessions at a old school now I'm looking for a new more permanent group hopefully someone will let me join. I do have the 5e rulebook but not the 2024 ones. Also they are kinda beat up haven't used them in years. Also always wanted to play frostgrave, trench crusade, and star wars legions. Also the main deal breakers are paid games and distance. I do live in a small town of only a couple hundred people and I don't think there's any groups nearby but I could be wrong.

I have played D&D and other TTRPGs on and off since '79, when I started with the Basic Set and module B1 (not The Keep on the Borderlands - that is B2 - B1 was a dungeon crawl with a Gelatinous Cube)! I'm a Gen-X & I like a good mix of RP (includiing intrigue!), creative problem solving, and combat. I actually started as a DM, and then shifted to spending more time as a player, running my own games intermittently. I am currently into the 2024 edition rules for 5e (except that I much prefer the 2014 DMG). I am also interested in exploring new TTRPGs. I have tried a variety of older systems, including Gamma World, Paladium, CoC (one-shots!), Rolemaster, VTM (not really my thing), Werewolf and others. I used to own several Traveller books, but only got so far as creating star systems, planets, aliens and ships - never having launched an actual game or campaign. I would love to try a space TTRPG at some point. I am most familiar with AD&D, 2e, and 5e. My exposure to 3e was through playing Neverwinter Nights, but it seemed pretty solid! I am currently working on building my own 5e homebrew campaign in Foundry VTT. In the meantime I would love to meet some new people and play some more! IMPORTANT: Also, I recently decided to boycott Discord due to their use of invasive AI to profile its users. I am against AI profiling. I am however, now on Stoat, which is very much like how Discord used to be before it added live video.

I've been looking to find the right group for a PF1e character I want to play. I've tried a few times before, but the group either fell apart too soon, or the RP options were far too restricted. Specifically, I want to play a summoner who is romantically and sexually involved with their eidolon. It is also a gay (MM) relationship. I'm not looking for ERP (although I'm not opposed to it), but I do want a group where I'm not feeling like I need to walk on eggshells about the relationship. I also hope the GM would be willing to bend on some RAW for the sake of some game mechanics reflecting the RP.

Hi, I'm an experienced player (9 years) looking for a more RP-heavy online campaign. That being said, I love the full D&D experience, so I'm not looking for a strictly RP group. I don't have a specific character in mind at the moment, and would prefer to come up with one after having a better idea of what the setting is like, and what the party is missing. Availability: (Eastern Standard Time) I'm free Tuesdays after 5pm, and other days after 11am. I'm busy on Mondays and Thursdays. Its possible I may become busy on Saturdays after 10pm, but there are no solid plans on that as of yet. Other Info: I'm a Canadian in my 30s. I have some experience with DMing (and voicework), but its pretty limited. I love to draw, create playlists, and make moodboards for my character and party members. I want to get better at art, so I'm hoping to find a group where I can get really invested in the characters so I'll be more motivated to try making little comics of things that happen. I did that in the last big campaign I was part of, and feel like I improved a lot by doing that.
