I am a 17 (almost 18) year old who really wants to play a game of DnD.  I've played once before and had a total blast.  just really wanna chop people in half with my Dragonborn fighter wielding a Great Axe. I am very inexperienced and would like to game with just a few players and a DM so I can learn and grow. Would like a nice balance between roleplay and combat. And want to start at level 1. Also I have a tendency to swear as well as be rather dark with my humor. Or on the flip side make the worst pun you ever heard. Greetings from the Midwest! I'm a veteran gamer with 40 years in the hobby, 34 of those behind the GM's screen off and on. I'm looking for players for anything besides D&D 5e. In the past I've run games in a variety of genres and systems including: D6 Star Wars, Call of Cthulhu (various editions), King Arthur Pendragon (4th edition), Star Trek TNG (Last Unicorn Games edition), Traveller (Mongoose 1e), Beyond the Wall, Dragonbane, The One Ring, and others. My gaming style is story over rules with roleplaying and combat fairly balanced (50/50), depending on the group's responses and tendencies. I am willing to game with teens (13-18), but only with a gaming family member at the table for accountability all around. I will discuss lines, veils, and triggers with players before gameplay, preserving player privacy when and where necessary. I am very picky with storytelling and the type of game I run, and I do care about everybody - my players and myself - having a good time. Hi! I'm a new-ish DnD player who is looking to join my first proper campaign! (I've played a couple of DnD 1-shots, a mini-campaign and dabbled in some Pirate Borg before). I am comfortable with playing with adults and/or older players, however I'm a minor (<18), and while finding a campaign to play is my priority, I'm really just looking for some more DnD experience, I'm willing to play or playtest anything you throw at me, weather a 1-Shot or a DnD campaign. I prefer RP focused campaigns, and character creation is my favourite part of DnD. One pattern I find myself falling into in character creation is subverting the expectations or sterotypes surrounding a class and contrasting that with the characters backstory (For example, maybe a Rogue who believes their criminal actions give opportunities for good to shine, and thus they are truly in the right). I also am likely going to give my character a unique character voice. Of course, I still love combat, and in combat my favourite role to play is either support or defending the squishy members of my party. I'l adapt my Class based on the others in my party. Suilad everyone. I'm Atheor, and I'm looking for a game to play. My past campaigns were all in person and they were great, but life got in the way, so now I've started looking online. My preferred time would probably be a mid morning to noon start time on Sundays, but I'm flexible with exact timing, and I could also do Monday, Wednesday, or Friday as long as it's after 5:00. I love roleplay, especially plot that allows character arcs and deep character interaction. I prefer play by post and online but I'm open to vc, I'm just chronically anxious and bad at acting. I adore romance and all of my characters are queer. I prefer playing male characters and I am a huge advocate for flavoring and creativity (as well as romantic plotlines for my characters). I'm okay with any genre, so long as it *does* allow for good character arcs. I'm chill with any topic as long as it's not meant to be directly harmful. I've only ever played dnd but I'm open to learning other systems. Due to being employed and other events, I am unavailable Sunday and Friday nights, so I'm available Saturday and weekdays. The earliest I can start is 7:30 pm EST on any day and the latest I can play is whenever the session happens to end, preferably 12am - 1am EST. I have no life overall so I'll be available pretty much every session.
