I'm 29, based out of Sacramento County, looking to make new friends. I have not played in a long time, but I have many of the books and i have played and DMed many campaigns. My experience is almost entirely 5e, and I enjoy throwing some homebrew in here and there. I dabbled with 3.5 in college as well. I am looking for more players for my own campaign, but I also would like to play in someone else's group.

Well met, stranger. I'm hiddenson. I've played different rpgs since the 90's, mostly as GM. I prefer GMing because I love world building and long-term campaigns. I revel in many layered plots that peel like a bag of onions, tuning preset worlds to my signature flavor of horror and hardcore mechanics. My style is deeply immersive, roleplay heavy, and Rule of Cool. I prefer acting in the first person with people who invest creativity in their characters. At the moment, I'd like to focus on horror games and Cyberpunk. I'd love to play other settings of the World of Darkness. I have extensive experience in Call of Cthulhu in the 1920's as well as in Cyberpunk 2020 so I'll adapt to new editions easily. Lastly, I have little to no experience in the other titles, but I'm eager to try them out. I lean into characters hungry for lore rather than riches. Think erudite professors risking their sanity in eldritch tomes, or tomb raiding archaeologists uncovering more than they bargained for. I recently launched a paid Vampire: The Masquerade Chronicle, so I'm willing to trade seats if our playstyles and game list match. Hey guys, the name is Micahel and I have been playnig dnd for at least I can say back to like 2020-21, after covid stuff ended, I am a big lover of both module games and homebrew games that people make themselves, especially to see and experience thier hard work and world space. I would like to say I chose the 18+/nsfw tags as I tend to use them more to show I like playing with others closer to my age range, 30, and experience games tied to things you may see in grimdark games for example. Now of course my main thing will be: if all the party is cool with it then alright, my liking of it shouldn't trump the care and comfort of others. When it comes to games, I prefer playing support characters to some more front line in the fight types while I am still trying to get better at verbal roleplaying. So if I join games and see a support role needed, I would probably be the first to offer taking classes like Clerics to other classes with subclasses that give a support/healer focus. If there is however the chance to be something else, I would probably take classes like Artificers, Warlocks, Wizards, Barbarians, or Paladins. Whatever the party needs, I am more than willing to take the role to help the party not be lacking a needed coverage. The same is how I tend to rp, I try not to be commanding a scene or talking over others so I may be more of a quiet person till a chance to speak is there. I hate the idea of cutting someone off during a needed question, special moment, and so on. In the future I plan to try running some paid one shots and maybe even a full campaign as I am trying to find something of work I can do that fits within stuff I have going on with myself. If I ever get the chance to, I look forward to making a world you can love being part of.

Hello there! I am Aevan. I recently graduated as a Bachelor of Engineering, Majoring in Electronics. I like buttermilk, dark chocolate and apples. I am always serial crafting one concept before leaping to another worldbuilding, neither of them bearing any similarity beyond their unfinished state and their existence in my synapses. Those rare few lucky enough to get incarnated unto txt files and word docs are few and far between. And they, too, bear the mark of incompleteness despite the level of "corporeality" they may have managed to ascend to. I am a DnD 5e foreverGM looking to indulge myself as a player. The rare times I do get to play, my class of choice may range from purely relativistic melee to Spellswords. I usually play as Intrigue or Detective sorts, with high sink in Int & Wis stats, at times synergizing with abilities like Grim Psychometry or spells like Legend Lore. I do enjoy a good mindless Barbarian or a "I hit 3 times at a row" Human Fighter every now and then, as you do. I am very green to many systems, and while I intend to learn as I go, I do hope my newbie shenanigans, combined by the inner Player finally being released unto a sandbox, will prove to be very little nuisance to the rest of my fellow players. My schedule is fairly free currently, so I'm not especially picky about timeframe or game frequency. I tend to enjoy creating characters tied to already existing structures within the world in order to both work with the DM to flesh out a central region or organization of the campaign and anchor that character to a set of themes and locales that will likely be relevant to the campaign. I'm bigger on roleplay than combat, though I have no qualms with combat. I have no problem with character death so long as it is established as a possible threat from the getgo.

Veteran GM Seeking Players for an Original Science-Fantasy TTRPG Hi, I’m Thorin. I’m a longtime player, Game Master, writer, artist. I have been running tabletop RPGs since the late 1980s, including the same evolving campaign setting since 1989. I am currently looking primarily for players interested in Shattered World, my original science-fantasy TTRPG. The game is in Alpha, so players should be comfortable with occasional rule changes, incomplete material, and providing honest, constructive feedback. You do not need to be an experienced playtester, but you should be willing to learn a new system rather--although familiarity with 5E D&D will be helpful. Shattered World is intentionally detailed. Character creation, training, equipment, professional expertise, preparation, research, recovery, and long-term advancement are all meaningful parts of play. Characters begin capable but vulnerable and gradually grow into highly distinctive specialists. Combat is tactical and dangerous, but the game also gives serious attention to social interaction, exploration, investigation, downtime, logistics, and rapidly changing situations that are not necessarily violence. I enjoy players who engage with the setting, learn what their characters can do, cooperate with the group, and communicate reliably. You do not need perfect system mastery. Questions are welcome. What matters is that you pay attention, make decisions, and treat the other people at the table with respect. Most of my gaming is online in the Eastern Time Zone.

Hello, I'm Ed (they/them) !! I'm a 21yo artist and ex-theatre kid who is also a nerd! not a shocking combo I know, but this is relevant to the fact that I am a roleplay, story and heavy envestment type player and DM. I have been playing 5e and 5.5e for about two years now both as a player and while in the DM's chair; a role I love, but I would also like to see the other side of the screen sometimes... that's why I'm hoping to find a group! People I can DM for if wanted, but where I can also get to play my own blorbos at times. My primary skills in improv and character writing are what I think stands out about me personally-- I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but you can rely on me to fill sliences and start in-character conversations. oh yeah I also draw a bit so letting me into your group may have the side effect of getting silly moments from sessions drawn lol. I'm looking for a roleplay centered group. I'm pretty flexible in terms of game themes, though you may have to sell me on certain genres of horror. Flags/lines in terms of content are pretty open as well-- message me for a copy of my full content consent sheet. While I am currently DMing a campaign on Wednesday nights, I am free most other evenings and some mornings/afternoons. I may also be able to provide a place to play depending on the time and day.

I've played WoD since I was a kid and love it. Recently getting into DnD. I'm very easy going and get along with pretty much everybody.

You've heard it before: eternal DM wants to finally get a chance to be a player and has a million and one character ideas up their sleeve to do so. I love 5e (2014 and 2024 versions are both fine) and have been itching to get back into it now that I've managed to get some more free-time in my schedule. I'm very familiar with the rules and most source material, enjoy a good homebrew or modules (no preference), and have equal experience/interest in RP and combat. I'm familiar with online play over Discord / Roll20 / D&DBeyond / etc. and am a quick learner so anything new is also not a problem. I'm located on the east coast (so est/edt), am in my 30s and am primarily available all day Mondays and Tuesdays, but can make other days/times work depending on what they are. Heyo, just a your friendly neighborhood DM and player, been playing since 3.5, had some fun in 4e, tried some 5e, moved to Pathfinder, and then made my own headache of a system for my friends. The TTRPG journey started when I was back in high school, and my writing has been even longer and one of the things I am personally most proud of, my ability to make compelling characters that also have good builds. Though I have a horrid habbit of power gaming I'm trying to break!

Veteran ttrpg player in his 40s, German but living in Poland (I don't think I can play or gm in Polish though) I am mostly interested in OSR-style games, often with a more simulationist bend, but I am willing to get into other genres/styles of play. I GM an active and regular Labyrinth Lord (OSR) Westmarches style open table game over discord, and also co-GM a Shadowrun3 campaign. I gearing up to restart a Traveller campaign, set up a play-by-post En Garde game, and am dabbling with a few others. I do play in a few other games which are unfortunately a bit less frequent as I would like. (I don't actually like Warhammer, WFRPG, or the Forgotten Realms all that much, I know that's a bit of a problem in Poland...)

I've been playing D&D for around 5 years, although I've only ever played with my IRL friends. Unfortunately, everyone's schedules have gotten busier, so I'm finally making an effort to find a new group because I really miss playing! I've been cursed with the "Forever DM" curse! 😂 I've spent a lot of time DMing and I genuinely love it, but I've been craving the chance to actually be a player for once D&D is the religion i was raised on, but my personal favorite system is actually Marvel Multiverse RPG. I'm generally happy to try different TTRPG systems, though, I love Daggerheart, Fate and Vieja Escuela I'll play on Discord voice chat. Just a heads-up: I don't use a webcam, and I have a Mexican accent, so hopefully that's not a problem I'm happy to play either a serious or goofy oneshots, and I'm always excited to make characters and get invested in a new world.

Greetings all! I have been playing TTRPGs on and off for 25 years and although I am naturally more combat-focused, I have been wanting to improve my roleplaying skills a bit more. Not that I think I am awful at roleplay, but we all have room for improvement and that just feels like the skill I could do better in. I started out GM'ing and have been ran probably 60-75% of the campaigns I have been involved in, so I am very open to either a player or GM role. Mostly i have been stuck being the forever DM but have been playng recetly myself. I generally as a DM enjoy a lot of different style of games from crunching numbers and tactical combat to more lighthearted or serious roleplay. More keen of the classical dnd advanterous style of gameplay myself. I love running serious stories but cant stop to crack some lighthearted jokes here and there. My main focus tho regardless of what game, theme or wolrd I am running, are the players and their characters. The main force that shakes the story and keeps things intrigueing. I love delving in and exploring the backstories and integrating them in the main plot of the campaign(and im a firm believer that should be the standard for most games)
