Hi, my name is George. I am 25, currently working as a special needs teacher. I've been playing D&D for about 2 years now, and I'm familiar with both the 2014 and 2024 rules, so either works for me. I'm a complete beginner when it comes to Daggerheart though, I've just read through the core rules a few times and watched others play, so I haven't actually sat down at a table for it yet. Schedule-wise, weekdays I'm free after 18:00 GMT+3, weekends pretty much whenever, and I'm generally flexible if a group needs something different. Looking for a group that meets regularly, once a week ideally. I show up when I say I will. Not the guy who ghosts three sessions in. Playstyle-wise I am into both a good combat and a good role-play. Whatever the session calls for. A few characters I've played recently: Atlas Skypillar, a stone giant goliath berserker barbarian, in a murder mystery campaign. Oran Monnarge, a thief rogue halfling, in "The Black Powder Barrel: The Murder of Tobias Jake." And Hachi the Isetsu, a skeletal blade warrior, in a oneshot. One game I'd really love to get into is Curse of Strahd. I was actually supposed to join a long-term campaign for it a while back, but I had to switch towns for work and my old DM only ran in-person games, so that fell through. Still hoping to find my way into a Strahd game eventually. As for taste, I'm all about drama and a good plot twist. I like joking around at the table when the moment allows it, but I can also read the room and get serious when the scene needs it. Outside D&D I'm big into dungeon crawlers like Etrian Odyssey and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, and tactical games too, Fire Emblem mainly, though I'll admit I never got past the GBA titles. And Castlevania is probably my favorite series overall, so gothic castles, cursed families, that whole vibe is right up my alley. I can't wait to get to know new people and to enjoy playing a story together 😁

Hi, french adult player here. Experienced in PF2E : Been playing and dming 1e and 2e for yers now. Started with naheulbeuk and 1e, then did one game of 5e and finally moved to 2e and a bit of Knight. I play my round quickly and, if possible, some flair. [Type of game]: To complement a more rp focused campaign I'm in I'd like to find a game that's more focused on action and aventure. Looking at recent APs I've seen that Hellbreakers and Hell's destiny look cool. Would be interrested going back into Kingmaker after my previous go was cut short. Or even conversions of 1e AP or homebrew stuff ! : On week days I can play from 19:00 to 00:00 and on saturdays I am free all day from 08:00 to 00:00 I'm a big gish fan, but so far haven't got to play one in 2e to very high level (highest I got with a magus was level 5 or 6 in abomination vault before a tpk). The only high level AP I got done so far was Age of Ashes several years ago with my sorcerer. So I'd be pretty flexible on roles to fill with one, ideally i'll try to make a magus work and with its upcoming rework I think I could make it fill defensive or offensive roles in a party ! Some characters I played before were: -Phaebus: in 1e, a magus smith from Torch in Iron Gods. He was one of the students of the local mage who had gone missing at the start of the AP, on the way to rescue him he found an intelligent sword of strange design that had lost its memories. He made it his goal to restore the lost memories and learn more about that sword in order to forge his own masterpiece. Piers: 2e Age of Ashes, a draconic sorcerer who chose to become a paragon of heroism for the weak after escaping slavery. He wore shiny plate armor and a shield without any other weapon to be a symbol of protection in the name of Milani. After the end of the campaign he kept travelling to free slaves and oppressed alike. Red Swirl: 2e Kingmaker, a kholo magus from a group of bandit/mercenary kholos who joined the party to get rid of the Staglord, and then stayed to help them deal with anything pertaining to magic. Sadly the game stoped early in book 2. W4N-D3RER: 2e Abomination Vault, an automaton cleric of casandalee who puts on a front talking very robotically and flatly, indicating verbally the tone or emotion he is going for. he does so to get people used to interracting with the less emotive sentient machines children of the goddess. He died late into the dungeon and was planned to return as a ghost summoner, with his old automaton body as a contruct eidolon. But sadly, again, the group disbanded and gave up after a tpk. Some more details: -Won't join games that use AI -LGBTQ friendly is required. -Furry friendly is preferred

Hello! ^^ My name is Adam. I've been playing D&D for some time now, having both tried 5e and 5.5e, which I'm looking forward to playing! I don't mind slight homebrews on a mechanical level and I enjoy homebrewed worlds and scenery for a campaign a lot, instead of the usual presets or manuals to run campaigns. I don't have any preferences on classes or playstyle. I enjoy playing every role as long as the DM gives me the tools I need to have fun in my role. What I am looking for is a game of D&D 5.5e to play around 8 or 9 pm (UTC +2). I have no set day to play, though I have a preference for the weekend, including Saturday. I don't mind any type of campaign from espionage to guild adventures or even thieves in search of ancient relics, though I prefer high fantasy worlds and little to no restriction around playstyles (for example, limiting magic, magic items, etc.) and, if possible, more focus on the roleplay aspect both in and out of combat without overshadowing the gameplay of it. Now for a little info drop about me! I'm a student who lives in Western Europe, simply looking to find a memorable time and party to play and have fun with! I might sound or act a little anxious or closed off at first, but if I grow comfortable, I can get extremely chatty! A part that I find very important in sessions is the music that is played. Having no music is actually a huge deal breaker for me in many situations. Lastly, I'm looking forward to meeting and talking with new people about my personal hobbies, and getting to know each other well. There is still a lot I could write, but I much prefer getting to know someone by voice and through more meaningful personal chats! Hey guys, the name is Micahel and I have been playnig dnd for at least I can say back to like 2020-21, after covid stuff ended, I am a big lover of both module games and homebrew games that people make themselves, especially to see and experience thier hard work and world space. I would like to say I chose the 18+/nsfw tags as I tend to use them more to show I like playing with others closer to my age range, 30, and experience games tied to things you may see in grimdark games for example. Now of course my main thing will be: if all the party is cool with it then alright, my liking of it shouldn't trump the care and comfort of others. When it comes to games, I prefer playing support characters to some more front line in the fight types while I am still trying to get better at verbal roleplaying. So if I join games and see a support role needed, I would probably be the first to offer taking classes like Clerics to other classes with subclasses that give a support/healer focus. If there is however the chance to be something else, I would probably take classes like Artificers, Warlocks, Wizards, Barbarians, or Paladins. Whatever the party needs, I am more than willing to take the role to help the party not be lacking a needed coverage. The same is how I tend to rp, I try not to be commanding a scene or talking over others so I may be more of a quiet person till a chance to speak is there. I hate the idea of cutting someone off during a needed question, special moment, and so on. In the future I plan to try running some paid one shots and maybe even a full campaign as I am trying to find something of work I can do that fits within stuff I have going on with myself. If I ever get the chance to, I look forward to making a world you can love being part of.

Hey! I'm Tomb, a (technically) 6 year DND player (on and off and with a lot of "rule of cool" tables so not a veteran) looking for a game for Sunday Nights usually starting around 8 EST (though my schedule will probably open soon!) Im a storyteller at heart, with a big focus on worldbuilding, lore, and character driven narratives. I like getting into the depths of the worlds history and seeing what makes it tick while playing with harsh backstories that loom like shadows over the players, but I tend to shy away from GrimDark, I like some hope with my whump please! None of that means I don't like combat though, combat plays a really important part in a lot of stories and can be interesting in their own right! I do know a lot of the rules for DND 5e, I've been watching actual plays long enough to have picked up on the rules, but I prefer Homebrew over RAW and Rule of Cool over Rules Lawyering I'm a huge fan of actual plays, namely Campaign 2 of critical role, Dimension 20s Misfits and Magic, A Court of Fey and Flowers, and The Seven, a small one shot campaign called World's Apart, and the beginning half of Godsfall (before the cast imploded) Literature wise I'm an avid reader of high fantasy, Eragon being my favorite series, along with Harry Potter (fuck terfs), and a niche Midgrade series called Avalon: Web of Magic! TL;DR in the DMs Guide Player Types: Im an Explorer, a Problem Solver, and a Storyteller, but I'm more than willing to hit something along the way, i prefer Homebrew and Rule of Cool over RAW, and i want some found family/hope with my hard story beats! Hi! I'm Tako, I'm 25, and I just graduated from university. I'm from Texas, and some of my biggest hobbies are anime, video games, baking, TTRPGs, history, and, of course, sleeping. I've been playing D&D for around 7... maybe 8 years now? It's honestly been so long that I've lost count, but it's become one of my favorite hobbies. As for quirks, I definitely have a few. I have ADHD and dyslexia, so I can be a little scatterbrained at times, but I promise I mean well! Dislikes are mostly the obvious stuff—people being mean or rude. I also have two very important food opinions: oatmeal raisin cookies are a crime, and pineapple absolutely does not belong on pizza (spawn of the devil). I also prefer to avoid politics entirely, and I'm not a fan of AI being used for character references or story writing. One fun fact about me is that I can make tiramisu completely from scratch, which I'm pretty proud of! My favorite animal is the lion. When it comes to D&D, I absolutely love melee characters. There's just something satisfying about charging into the thick of a fight. That said, I'm trying to branch out and play more spellcasters to expand my comfort zone. No matter what I play, though, I tend to enjoy characters who serve as a light in the darkness—people who try to inspire hope even when everything seems bleak. A Forever DM of D&D 5e for around 10 years, having started in high school, and looking to branch out to various systems as both a GM and Player! Hello! My name is Sleepy. I am 22 years old and a gender-fluid (AFAB) player that is searching a group to join. My schedule is very flexible, so I can play almost any day or time. By the way, English is not my first language (I speak it fluently though) and I have an accent that I can't get rid of. I have lots of experience playing DnD (and a little bit of other TTRPGs) and was often described as a 'dream player' by my other DMs, because I create interesting characters, let DMs have fun with them and be heavily invested in the lore, creating theories, connecting dots and catching hints like an eagle catching a ball from that one meme. My play style? Love both the role playing aspect and fighting, but I love building a beautiful story with other players the most. I don't fight for spotlight and don't mind others having their moments, sometimes holding a supporting role for a long time. I, myself, love playing a long game with my characters, so I can hold on to my character's secret for years (been there, done that). As for equipment, I have a good mic and a webcam. I rarely cancel DnD sessions unless I absolutely can't attend (so sick that I can't get out of bed, have a flight, etc). I am also pretty open to talking to my party outside DnD, discussing characters, creating content for the party/characters, playing video games and so on.

Hi, I'm a 30y/o guy with at least 15 years of TTRPG experience, I've mainly played 5e, but i've tried different systems via oneshots or short campaigns. As a player I'm more combat focused, but don't think that I don't like to RP too. I play a variety of different characters so there's no one trope that I'm known for. I do work for 2-6 weeks at a time offshore, so I wouldn't be able to play for long periods of time. However when I'm home I'm able to make most days and times work. Been part of a Candela Obscura table for about 2 years every other Tuesday. Love that so much got a tattoo of it. Tried to branch out to roll 20 discord voice for a few months, got enjoyment out of it but i started to feel pressured to 'perform'. I also hated how an entire session could be filled up with just combat. While combat is fun, if it is number crunchy and too long it just feels like a waste of time. I'm a rp and lore junky. I loved the characters and story of my campaigns, did not care or know really how to make a super powerful and dps build. Which tells me while I prefer combat to be more rp prone. I'm a 34 year old mailman and husband and father, so time is very tight. I will post at least 5 posts a day. Depending on the workload and how high maintenance the family is, and if I find the pbp compelling, I might do a lot more. I hope so. That's why I ultimately ended up bowing out of the dnd. So my next stepping stone in my ttrpg journey is to find a pbp that posts normally that focuses on rp and story. While I appreciate the chaos and uncertainty of the dice it shouldn't be at the deterrent of player creativity, or fun, or rule of cool. But that's just me. I can learn any system or setting, I'm a smart dude. I value the people and the pc and the story over all. Also, I'm from Kansas. In the US. Normal sleep schedule. So CDT is where I'm at. I'm Daniel, a 28yo dude looking to play either online or in person in the Minden, Nevada area. Can play pretty much any time on Wednesdays, preferably every other week. Looking for group and DM to play with that meets consistantly for a long term game. Experience: Been playing D&D on and off since maybe 2016, and have DM'd several games, though I'm looking to just be a player. Most of my experience is with 3.5e, though I'm farely familiar with 5e and have played a few one shots. I've also played Pathfinder 1e. Note that I haven't played anything in a few years now, so I may be a little rusty. I'm mostly looking to play D&D5.5e/2024, as I quite like some of the stuff they've done with the races, classes, and backgrounds. I don't know that I want to play a module. I'd rather play in a homebrew game, whether set in the Forgotten Realms or a similar setting. I am also interested in some of the new Ravenloft content. Class/Race Preferences: I love Warlocks and Necromancers first and foremost, but I also enjoy rogues, druids, bladesinger wizards. Currently itching to play a Reborn GOOlock leaning heavily into some good ol' cosmic horror. Role Play/Combat: My favorite games I've been in were pretty heavy in RP and made me feel an emotional connection to the player characters. At the same time, I do enjoy combat and enjoy the power fantasy of playing strong characters (though I'm also very into making an aesthetically/thematically pleasing character that may not be as strong as they could be). When it comes to combat, I don't like games where every combat encounter is Dark Souls the TTRPG. I don't mind a challenging encounter that makes me think tactically, or even the occasional encounter that isn't meant to be won, but when every encounter feels like the party is severely out-matched, that's when it stops being fun (I've been in one of those kinds of games). As I mentioned before, I do enjoy a good power fantasy, so balancing challenging encounters with some that are a breeze and make the players feel bad-ass, is the way to go for me. General Content: I like high and dark fantasy, horror, epic stories, emotional connections between characters. While I tend to lean toward serious characters and stories, comedic relief is more than welcome (and generally inevitable in my experience). Adult Content: I'm fine with mature themes if everyone else is.

I enjoy mechanical depth and I'm not against combat, but what keeps me at the table is character work, political texture, and a story that rewards investment. Morally complex scenarios are a plus. I'd love to finally find the group that sticks it out for the long run. Hello everyone! my name is Blair, and I am a player looking for more games to play! my schedule just recently opened up, and i need to roll dice and tell some stories! a bit about me: a bulk of my TTRPG experience comes from playing 2014, but i do have experience playing other systems as well, such as Candela Obscura, Daggerheart, Pathfinder, and I've even played a homebrew version of DND. when it comes to me as a player, i do tend to play spellcasters, it just intrigues me a lot more than the martial classes, and when I do play martial classes, i always give them limited magic. I'm also a pretty respectful tablemate, i try to give my fellow players a chance to get involved. along with that, I do engage in romance, both PC and NPC, just depends on whether or not the table is down with that! oh, speaking of romance, i am Queer and trans! with the world that we exist in, I find that it is better for my table to know that upfront than learn that not only am I not cis but also, I like both boys and girls, it's just a fact of life. with that you must be a Queer and trans friendly table as well as a disabled friendly table since I am disabled as well! now to move onto a gm I would prefer: typically, how I'd parse out a potential good GM for me to play under, is I'd do a one-shot with them and see if we're a good fit, and if we can have good conversation, but considering the nature of a post like this, I am willing to forego that! that being said, you still need to have the following: be America-based and even more specifically be CST-based- since I am based in North America, I just can't do uber late games. it's not good for my mental health, and it causes me to be a terrible person for responding to DMs. RP skills - this doesn't mean that you shouldn't at least try to incorporate combat in your sessions but i need those RP skills sharpened to the max! homebrew vs. Module - I am willing to play a module but i would prefer a homebrew world. it shows that you are more than willing to be flexible with your players' stories and want to share that creativity with the world at large. recording vs basic home game - I am very okay and do consent to a recorded game, considering i have been in a few actual plays! that, however, does not mean that i will turn my nose up at a basic home game, in fact that is one of my favorites!

iv done tabletop with friends before and always was the GM. i even tried to run my own textbased game but could never keep those alive, people eventually just stopped responding even after multiple reminders its their turn in combat. so im looking to be a player this time instead. im fine with both roll20 and discord text play or a öove gameplay deal over roll 20 or similar sites. the three characters i can for DND offer are: -a kobold demolitionist (comic relief obsessed with explosives. this guy would use a more explosives focused subclass for artificer i found on reddit if thats ok with your game) -a tribal tabaxi guy with spear who moves fast and haresses enemies in melee (this character is very cruel and would be only suited to serious games) -a harengon geomancer (this guy would only use earth and stone themed spells and im partial to reflavoring existing spells as earth ones) for other settings i usually have one character per setting. NOTE: im not interested in character creation involving rolled stats i dont like rng deciding my stats i prefer pointbuy.

I'm okay with any genre, so long as it *does* allow for good character arcs. I'm chill with any topic as long as it's not meant to be directly harmful. I've only ever played dnd but I'm open to learning other systems. Due to being employed and other events, I am unavailable Sunday and Friday nights, so I'm available Saturday and weekdays. The earliest I can start is 7:30 pm EST on any day and the latest I can play is whenever the session happens to end, preferably 12am - 1am EST.
