Hi! I'm new to dnd but i'd really like to get into the game. I would prefer to play a game that's more roleplay focused rather than combat focused because i'm not all that familiar with the combat systems yet. I have played once before and I played a healer so that's what I prefer to play as.

Hello, there! I am a veteran player (38-years-old) who switched to D&D 5.5 ever since its release and has played sessions weekly (even multiple times a week). My window of availability is between 6 AM and 11:30 AM, and between 2 PM and 10:30 PM, CET times. I like exploration and all kinds of discoveries. I enjoy RP the most when it furthers the characters, the campaign's story or both. I like combat especially when it mixes in interesting mechanics and objectives, and when I can be creative in my descriptions and my actions. I love overcoming challenges, whatever form they take, through teamwork and preparation. I like believable character actions, because I value immersion a lot, which is why I generally prefer a serious tone over a silly one. Jokes are more than fine, but I much prefer it when they don't undercut tense and emotional moments. As a player, I gravitate the most towards themes related to morality, knowledge/lore and creativity/art, I take my time to gather information (keeping notes) and strategize, and I'm good-aligned pretty much always. I never come in with a clear idea on what character to play, as I very much enjoy trying to weave species, class, concept and backstory with the campaign's world, letting the latter inspire character creation itself. So I tend to ask some questions after I join a new game, to get a better idea and then decide, with an eye on party composition as well. As a person, I'm a big believer in fairness, I'm as anti-toxicity as it gets, and I'm respectful, inclusive, punctual and communicative.

I can play online or in person. I end up playing more online nowadays, but I prefer in person. Hello everyone! my name is Blair, and I am a player looking for more games to play! my schedule just recently opened up, and i need to roll dice and tell some stories! a bit about me: a bulk of my TTRPG experience comes from playing 2014, but i do have experience playing other systems as well, such as Candela Obscura, Daggerheart, Pathfinder, and I've even played a homebrew version of DND. when it comes to me as a player, i do tend to play spellcasters, it just intrigues me a lot more than the martial classes, and when I do play martial classes, i always give them limited magic. I'm also a pretty respectful tablemate, i try to give my fellow players a chance to get involved. along with that, I do engage in romance, both PC and NPC, just depends on whether or not the table is down with that! oh, speaking of romance, i am Queer and trans! with the world that we exist in, I find that it is better for my table to know that upfront than learn that not only am I not cis but also, I like both boys and girls, it's just a fact of life. with that you must be a Queer and trans friendly table as well as a disabled friendly table since I am disabled as well! now to move onto a gm I would prefer: typically, how I'd parse out a potential good GM for me to play under, is I'd do a one-shot with them and see if we're a good fit, and if we can have good conversation, but considering the nature of a post like this, I am willing to forego that! that being said, you still need to have the following: be America-based and even more specifically be CST-based- since I am based in North America, I just can't do uber late games. it's not good for my mental health, and it causes me to be a terrible person for responding to DMs. RP skills - this doesn't mean that you shouldn't at least try to incorporate combat in your sessions but i need those RP skills sharpened to the max! homebrew vs. Module - I am willing to play a module but i would prefer a homebrew world. it shows that you are more than willing to be flexible with your players' stories and want to share that creativity with the world at large. recording vs basic home game - I am very okay and do consent to a recorded game, considering i have been in a few actual plays! that, however, does not mean that i will turn my nose up at a basic home game, in fact that is one of my favorites!

My actual experience in campaigns are limited to about three? Two DnD campaigns, and one from Lancer, but god knows I need to be in more. I have a few oneshots behind me and one campaign, otherwise I was the player. Still some rules are vague to me so I apologise forward if I get smth wrong. Also I played mostly online except this year where I DMed in person but on a blackboard. I would be available mostly on weekends or during week after 19pm every day. I love homebrew content, for races like the Demi-dragon homebrew book, items or monsters. I am a real dragon lover btw. I used dnd beyond for monster characters but for the campaigns online I used Owlbear.

Hiya, I go by Fenris or Fen and am a TTRPG veteran of roundabout 26 years, having started in my early teens and been the forever GM for a number of years, before moving on to become a player. I recently finished a PF2E campaign with an international group and am looking forward to move on to new horizons more set in a bright and exciting future. I am flexible regarding the day, being available for evening session from 18:00 to 18:30 my time onwards during Mondays to Fridays and basically fully flexible when it comes to the weekends. Also let me be very frank because I keep getting messages about this: I AM NOT INTERESTED IN D&D! Playstyle I am a person who both enjoys engaging roleplaying, interactions between the characters and with the world at large. To me a good game has a healthy mix of both and ideally also mixes them. So I want to roll the dice when appropriate, but I'm a bit tired of hearing 'I roll to attack' and a simple 'you hit'. Why not make it 'I bring my sword to bear against the owlbear, parry it's right claw swiping for me while side-stepping and try to cut it across it's leg in retaliation'? This gives the GM much more to play without without having to wrack their brain how to make it an exciting moment for everyone. Same goes for RP: You can try to hide the need to roll something to see, whether you succeed or not, by describing it creatively. I could say 'I want to roll Diplomacy to convince the lizardman warrior, that we come in peace' or I could say 'Putting on an open, peaceful body language, showing he is not armed, <character name> speaks clearly and softly in a diplomatic tone "We mean no harm. Just want to talk."' To me RP and rules are not two separate sides of a medallion - they can work beautifully hand in hand to weave a story within a fair ruleset, that gives everyone equal chances. Hence I also play the character idea and role within the party. I don't min-max, I work to represent the character idea both in RP and in the build. What's the character idea of a stoic and stalwart defender worth, if it isn't backed up by a build optimized towards taking the brunt of the enemies attacks? How can I play a hot-shot pilot, if his confident and assured stance isn't backed up by great skill with piloting and tendancy towards pulling stunts and a few aces up his sleeves? Experience I've started out with one of the more complex games to play 26 years ago: Shadowrun. Very crunchy, figuring out rolls was an effort and more often than not forgoing too complex rules for the rule of cool. From there I moved on to a myriad of systems - both mainstream and not. To name a few: Legend of the Five Rings, King Arthur Pendragon, D&D 5E (2014), Stafinder 1E, Stars Without Number, Warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer 40K FFG (Dark Heresy, Rogue Trader and Only War), Star Wars Edge of the Empire, The Dark Eye (DSA), A Song of Ice and Fire RPG, Pathfinder 2E and a quick dip into Fallout 2d20, as well as maybe some I can't even remember from the get-go right now. I've been on both sides of the table in those years, being both a GM and a player on- and offline. But I moved on from GMing for the most part, as I just don't have the capacity for additional responsibility in my life right now, besides showing up in time and having a good time with some fellow enjoyers of cooperative rules-based storytelling ;) Bio Let's start with the basic facts: 39 years old male (he/him) from Germany. Near-native level of fluency in both written and spoken English due to early exposure to English at around age 4 to 5 and being active in the daily usage of English thanks to the internet. I'm an adult, but a decently young one, and would prefer to play in a group of a similar age range (18-25). ‼️Important‼️ I have no interest in games that involve the use of generative AI in anyway! Do not message me if you use AI for your game!!! Or if you intend to allow players to. I have a decent amount of experience with ttrpgs in general, mainly D&D, but none with the two I'm looking for; Vampire The Masquerade and Lancer (which I recognize have very different vibes XD). For Vtm, I have some rulebooks for V5 and would say I'm decently familiar with it. I've played around with creating a few characters, and have read the books quite throughly, so I don't think I'd need too much help. I just may ask a few questions here and there. For Lancer, well, I have the rulebook. I've started to read it, but I haven't gotten that far. Joining a game would definitely encourage me to read more though, and I'd probably be able to finish it before the first session (I'm a pretty fast reader). Rulebook aside, I do have a little bit of knowledge about the rules, since I've been watching people stream it, but I'll certainly need a decent amount of help- even after I finish reading the book. My schedule is currently free but it will be changing shortly, however I should be free basically every day in the evenings (after 6pm EST). The only day I'm for sure not available is Sunday, since I have a campaign that day. I prefer to play on Discord, no camera as I currently don't have a working webcam.

I go by Elf. Any/All pronouns.I started playing tabletops back in 2017. First 5E, then Pathfinder, and now Daggerheart is my go-to game. I've been playing since the beta in 2024, I enjoy how the system encourages creativity from the GM and the players, how you can add "flavor" to the games spells, weapons, etc. I could go on and on about why I love this game, but I have a profile to write. I'm also a roleplayer and a writer. I often roleplay with friends over Discord, and have wrote a few stories, though most of them are sitting on my desktop. I like coming up with fun characters. Some take inspiration from The Elder Scrolls or RWBY or ZZZ. One of my recent characters was inspired by Fate. Never watched, but I liked the design/concept. I tend to get ideas that sometimes explode out of me. Next thing you know, I'm openining up a character sheet. So hours. A weekly game would be ideal. I'm kind of a night owl. My time zone is EST. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, I'm available for games from 6 PM to 6 AM the next day. Wednesdays, I'm available from 1 AM (technically Thursday, but you get the idea) to 6 AM. Friday and Saturday, I'm available from 8 PM to 6 AM. Sunday is usually my busy day. Sometimes this changes, but not enough to where I can commit to a Sunday game. For late night games, I can always get some caffeine in me to keep myself awake. I've done so before. It shouldn't be a problem if we're only playing once or twice a week. One last thing to mention: I sometimes use a voice changer for roleplaying purposes to sound a certain way when speaking as my character. As mentioned above, I love roleplaying and sometimes get really into it. This is comepletly optional, however, and I don't need it if it'll be too distracting. I can turn it on and off with a press of a key. So that's it. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi all, I've been playing since August of 2025, was in a weekly campaign Sundays 5-8pm EST, but DM has left due to IRL reasons and we played a hybrid of 2014/2024 D&D with a 2014 base with some exceptions of '24 rules for classes and items being applied. It was very much a homebrew universe separate from Classic D&D so I would be a complete novice with locations in that regard. I've grown to enjoy this game and find myself seeking a game to tide things over either until or alongside the return of that campaign. I'd say I am mostly comfortable with combat. I played until level 8 so much more of later mechanics are still unknown to me and I'd be excited to find myself being able to add to another party's enjoyment! Pretty easy going and agreeable to most things, I value communication in most areas of my life so if anything were to impede plans I would give advance notice where applicable!

Relatively new player looking for online dungeon and dragons games to join. Background: I've played WoW for about two decades now so I'm familiar with fantasy and role playing games. Also love TES franchise, although I don't play anything currently. Really interested in the role-playing aspect and I enjoy the challenge of the combat scenarios. I've been watching Critical Role from campaign one after watching most of the Vox Machina series so I'm fairly familiar with the game play, although primarily home brew content. Experience: I have a suspended campaign which my brother DMs where it's just his friend and I as the group. It's homebrew and we've probably only had about 8 sessions. Me: I'm a respectful and considerate person who is LGBTQ+ friendly. I'm talkative but I also know how to make space for others. I have one character with a deep back story, who I only want to play once I've found a great group of people and DM who can intergrate my idea into their world. Hi! Im a pretty seasoned gamer. Although I'm not exactly "the best" and win everything, I will always try my hardest to have a good time. I genuinely love connecting with people and getting to experience stories with others through roleplay. There is nothing that beats the feeling of seeing someone get that rush from defeating the big bad or getting that final piece they needed to win a board game. Speaking of board games, I also have a sizeable collection of 127 games with just about 20 that are new to the collection! Not only do i love to roleplay but I also love to play board games if it wasnt already obvious from how many I've accumulated 😅. I also have Tabletop Sim to be able to play with others not near me. We are a beginner-friendly D&D Discord community with over 50 members, originally started as a small helping/tutorial server for new players who wanted to get into D&D without having to pay for anything. The server is still very welcoming to beginners, but experienced players are also invited, especially if you enjoy roleplay, storytelling, helping newer players learn the game, or even running your own sessions. At the moment, we have a core group of active members, with people playing or interacting almost daily. We currently run two main types of games: 1. Adventurers Guild / West Marches-inspired one-shots This is our open-table system. I created an Adventurers Guild that posts bounties, missions, and one-shot adventures. Players can join when they are available, without needing to commit to a long campaign from the start. These games mostly use D&D 5e 2024 rules, but 2014 content and homebrew may also be allowed, depending on the DM. 2. Classic homebrew campaigns Other members can also become DMs, post their own campaign ideas, gather 4–6 players, and run their own homebrew campaign in their own channel. This can be in our shared universe or in a completely separate custom setting. My personal DM style is more focused on roleplay, story, atmosphere, and fun character moments rather than strict rules or overly complicated combat. I am very open to helping new players learn and giving people a relaxed space to try D&D. Most of my sessions are usually in the evening, around 19:00–20:00 until 23:00–00:00 GMT+2, but we also have people from different time zones, so other games may happen at different hours depending on the DM and group. We are also open to people interested in becoming Dungeon Masters. Hi! All told, I only have about a year of experience playing and GMing, and it's been a looong time, so I'm sure I'm quite rusty. My time zone is CST and my schedule is open. I have no strong preferences when it comes to frequency of sessions, system, or setting. Back when my friends and I actively played, I mostly GMed, using DnD 3.0/3.5, with a little Spycraft on the side. Even though that was years ago, I've never stopped thinking about RPGs, listening to actual play podcasts like The Adventure Zone and Acquisitions, Inc., reading random supplements and forum posts, and playing video games based on tabletop systems/adventures. I love backstory, lore, and worldbuilding and enjoy combat and dungeoncrawling, too. I remember my very first RPG session, when I was a kid, immediately opened my eyes to the creativity and improvisation that the format allows. All I'd done in our first battle was ready my weapon and lightly wound an unlucky bandit... while the far more experienced players of the group spent their first few turns positioning themselves technically, slinging buffs and debuffs, and throwing a tarp over the intimidating-as-hell bandit leader and then setting it ablaze with a torch. I was astounded; I knew I had to have more. The Discworld and Hitchhiker's Guide series of books are dear to me, though I'm down for nearly any fantastical story and setting (much like Pratchett and Adams themselves). Potentially relevant-to-tabletop video game series I've enjoyed are The Witcher, Knights of the Old Republic, Fallout, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, The Elder Scrolls, Divinity, Baldur's Gate, Final Fantasy, World of Warcraft, Legend of Grimrock, and many more. I like to let other players choose their specializations first, so I can try to fill any gaps we have, then build the character's background and motivation from there. That way, everyone who really wants to play a specific role is happy and the group as a whole is well-rounded. Plus, it's just fun to mix things up from game to game, so I've never really had a favorite class, though I do enjoy playing support (gotta have a healer/medic!). If you have the patience to help me shake off the rust and adapt to your setting and system, I'll do as much or as little reading, roleplaying, and rolling as you need. Ugh, this is really starting to sound like a sales pitch, ha ha... sorry. I'll finish by simply saying that I'm excited to meet you and see what adventures you've got brewing!

I have played with 2024 rule but only recently this year (2026), so I am still learning the changes. I favor over roleplaying and storytelling than combat. Basically, character growth, personality, a bit of acting, and how they face the world with the party as a group or dealing with personal problem if have to face it alone. As a player, I am calm, chill, and willing to learn whether game or mistake. I don't complain a lot when I'm a player. My goal is just to have fun playing together. When comes to creating a character, I can be flexible as long as it fits in the campaign theme and story (and world). About Me: My name is Alex. He/Him pronouns. In my mid twenties, studying in college. Totally comfortable with queer players/DMs, though I would not consider myself queer, most of my friends are. Some past religious trauma. I'm looking for a long term camaign, around weekly. Available any day right now and can move my schedule around for any time from around noon to midnight as long as I have forewarning. Style: I'm willing to play in all sorts of themed games, homebrew or not, but I tend to enjoy high magic campaigns and high tech campaigns a bit less. I enjoy mysteries in the world and I like gods being a central part to worldbuilding or the story itself. I enjoy the exploring a lot, (even if dnd doesn't have many rules for it), especially other planes, but the material realm is totally fine to spend an entire campaign in. My favorite character I haven't had the opportunity to play more than a session of is a neutral good, male Kitsune Bard who enjoys supporting the party and growing his collection of stories, written, sung, or told. I'm used to low level campaigns (< lvl 6), but have no qualms with high level campaigns. Experience: I have experience DMing and I have experience as a player. Not too much for either, but a few years experience DMing for a group of friends/family ranging from 8 players to 3. That's why I've put myself at Intermediate experience, not too much experience as a player for more than a session or two, though I have gone beyond that point. Pillars Balance: I do enjoy combat, but I also very much enjoy exploration and roleplay, both with other players and with NPCs. I like teasing and being the party face who isn't entirely always proper and moral, but has good intentions overall. I try very hard to share the spotlight and pull in fellow players. I'm totally fine if a session goes without combat, but if we go two sessions without rolling initiative, I might be a bit concerned. As previously mentioned, I like exploring, but as long as you introduce cool locations we visit, that's good for me. I like difficult and engaging combat, ones that make us strategize, maybe prepare for beforehand, combats that make us move around the field more, secure objectives, or maybe play unconventionally such as controlling or wielding things we normally wouldn't.

I'm 28 years old and from Finland. I have never played DnD or Daggerheart before, but I've wanted to play for some time now, just haven't found a group yet. I know the basics about how to play DnD from reading the player's handbook, watching Critical Role, and playing Baldur's Gate 3. I've made a lot of characters on DnD beyond already and bought a lot of dice, so I'm excited to finally use them. I have some experience with roleplaying. I've done written RPs for over 8 years now, so I have some experience in that sense at least. I like a campaign that's a good mix of combat and roleplay, and between story-driven and character-driven. I want a bit of everything. An overarching plot with some character beats mixed in, together with some combat. I'm an introvert, so I want a game where people take that into account and make me feel welcome by including and checking in with my character from time to time. My time zone is GMT +3.
