My name is Brandon, though people online prefer to call me "Undead". Me and a friend of mine are looking to be players together in long-term fantasy campaign. We are hoping to find a group that we can mesh even outside the game, and play anytime at/after 6pm CST (UTC-5) on Thursdays.
About Me
I am 23, an aspiring artist, casual gamer, queer-friendly, and have an undying passion for D&D ever since I first played back in 2022. I have 4 collective years of experience playing 5e and 5.5e as almost exclusively a Dungeon Master and am very familiar with nearly all the common rules. As both an artist and DM, I bring my own art assets to the games I'm involved in and would consider bringing other players' characters to life just for fun! Otherwise, I enjoy all forms of animation media including Anime and classic cartoons like AtLA. My hobbies aside, I graduated from college with a BFA in Animation last year. I try to be an open-minded, respectful person as much as I can be and as such, no person will ever have to fear discrimination or any other form of hate speech from me.
I would be interested in playing in any fantasy campaign setting, homebrew or otherwise, that includes the colorful variety of races that would enable me to play either a Firbolg Artificer or Kenku Wizard under 5.5e's rules. Historically having been primarily a DM, I am invested in the player characters' interpersonal interactions and have a good sense for how to move a story/scene forward, alleviating the heavy expectations of the DM to carry every beat. (If that sounds like a breath of fresh air for any DMs, I know how you feel, haha) Otherwise I am equally roleplay and combat motivated, so a 60/40 or 40/60 split of combat and roleplay is the goldilocks zone for me. I am open to all kinds of game themes and topics during the game including commonly 'difficult' ones except explicit NSFW roleplay (player romance is fine, but I may not indulge). I am familiar with Roll20 and D&DBeyond, but am open to using whatever VTT the DM prefers as long as it's free.

Koijo, my duo, is a long-standing friend of mine who shares as similar passion of D&D with me. We have a lot in common, including our interests and open-minded, respectful treatment of others. He started playing in 2024 and has roughly 2 years of D&D experience, mostly as a player, but recently as a DM as well. He has picked up the common rules of 5 and 5.5e very quickly with help from me and as such we both are more than comfortable with newer players or DMs.
