Hi! I'm looking to join an online game alongside my girlfriend. We're both beginners but are eager to play, we've both played a few sessions together but are still very much new to DnD. I've got a bit more experience than she does as I have played many games that use the 5e rules, and I own several of the 2014 books. We're looking for an online 5e game (either 2014 or 2024 is fine) that is beginner friendly. My girlfriend would prefer more focus on combat and exploration and light RP. The last group we tried was heavy RP and, despite them all being lovely, the group wasn't the right fit for us. We're both based in Europe, I'm GMT and she is GMT+1, we'd be looking to play in the evenings and can be flexible on the day. I'm 28 and she is 24 so ideally a group of similar ages would be good!

I'm looking for a long term campaign of some sort, preferably homebrew, though a non-railroad module is also fun. I'm available most evenings during the week reliably starting at 7 or 8 pm. Preference for high fantasy with a good balance of rp and combat.   I'm an older player (he/him) with several campaigns under my belt.  I played a lot in the 90s, but refound the hobby in 2021 and haven't quit.  Experienced in Foundry VTT and roll20, and in person with dnd beyond character sheets.  I've completed icewind dale, tomb of annihilation,  and avernus, so i don't really want to revisit those.   About me: over 40, girl dad, outdoor enthusiast (climbing,  biking,  canoe,  camping), woodworking, white cis male but fervent ally. I've played every class in 5e except artificer (they really bother me from a game design perspective), love me some support casters and a good evolving character arc.

Looking for a Full Campaign set in Forgotten Realms! Hello, experienced player here looking to try and get into a game :) I am a woman in my early 30s, would strongly prefer to play on Roll20 or FoundryVTT for that visual element. I know there are other VTT platforms, but I am most comfortable with Roll20 or Foundry. I know a lot of people enjoy oneshots and fully homebrew worlds, but I'd really like to play a full campaign up to max level in an existing Forgotten Realms setting, whether that's somewhere in Toril on the Material Plane, Avernus, Elemental, wherever is fine as long as it's canon. I'm not really good with horror, so I'd like to avoid Curse of Strahd or Tomb of Annihilation. To clarify, modules (something like Tyranny of Dragons?) are really cool but if you want to make up (or already have) a custom story that's also cool as long as it takes place in the existing FR setting and can make use of that lore. There's also the option of starting with a low level module (something like Waterdeep: Dragon Heist?) and branching into a custom storyline or some other modules after that. I don't know any module titles for 4e off-hand so I can't name examples, but I'm happy to play either 4e or 5e (2014)! I started my journey in tabletop gaming with 4th edition as a teen, a couple year prior to 5e releasing, but I haven't had the chance to play it since then so I would be a bit rusty. My schedule atm is a bit wonky but I'll lay out my availability here (Times in EST): Sundays - After 4 pm until 9 pm Mondays - 11 am until 9 pm Tuesdays - 11 am until 7 pm Wednesday - 4:30 pm until 10 pm Thursday - N/A Friday - 11 am until 10 pm Saturday - N/A I would love to make some new friends through tabletop again so I hope you'll give me a chance, I'm good to join either a new game or existing group. Hi everyone! I’m a player in my 30s (UK) who is relatively new to the hobby but completely obsessed with the storytelling side of D&D. I’m looking for a group that values character growth, secrets, and a bit of "chaos" in the party dynamic. I have a few character concepts ready to go, ranging from tragic to high-energy: Option 1: The "Blessed" Orphan (Warlock) The Hook: Sold to a temple as a child, he spent years desperately praying for a god to choose him. When a voice finally answered, he assumed it was divine. In reality, it’s a Patron playing a long game. The Twist: He views his Patron as his only true friend and protector. He is completely blind to their dark influence, even when he’s caught talking to himself or carrying out "favors" that don't quite seem holy. He has a fractured mind and a heart of gold—a dangerous combination. Option 2: The Mercenary Cleric. The Hook: A Cleric who finished his training but realized prayers don't pay the bills. He’s obsessed with gold—not just for greed, but because he’s searching for something (his past, a home, a legacy) and believes money is the only way to buy answers. The Vibe: He’ll keep you alive, but he might send you an invoice afterward. Option 3: The High-Fashion Arcanist (Sorcerer) The Hook: A "cunty" sorcerer who knows he’s the most powerful person in the room—he just doesn't know why. He’s on a quest to find his origins, mostly because he’s annoyed that his magic is more talented than he is. What I Bring to the Table: I’m in my 30s; and unable to find a group to meet in person *cries alone in the dark...*. So finding a group online to meet regularly will be awesome. Ideally, people 30+ will be great (I don't discriminate the twenties but I started to find myself more connected with people around my age who have been geeks since the times of Slayers or Inu Yasha). I love deep-diving into backstories and interacting with the world the DM builds. Even when playing "difficult" characters (like the gold-obsessed Cleric), I make sure it adds to the fun for everyone, not ruins the game. I'm obsessed with hack and slash videogames too #BayonettaSupremacy

I am a dad (38) with a full time job so once I get a schedule locked in I'll be kinda stuck to it. Probably BiWeekly 7PM Central Time. Haven't played in over a decade and I want to be a player for a while before getting in to GMing. I enjoy learning how the rules and tools work together to create opportunities, surprises, disappointment and rewards but now I want more experience and less reading. I'd consider my interests right in the middle of roleplay and crunch. I think silly voices can be fun and applaud anyone going full character embodiment (respectfully) with goals for development. Rules are there for structure and challenge and should be the driving guide but I have no interest in strict RAW (or in a related vein 1:1 time inspired games).

My name is Tony. I have been playing TTRPGs since the summer of 1988. I have played just about everything that was ever available. Red Box D&D. 1st Edition AD&D. 2nd Edition AD&D. 3rd Edition/3.5 D&D. Pathfinder 1E. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Other Strangeness. Heroes Unlimited. RIFTS. Amber. Warhammer The RPG.  Haven't played 5th Edition D&D yet. Honestly, much like 4th Edition, I'm not really too impressed by it. I'm even less impressed by the quality of the publication. They really should have made sure that the pages listed in the Table of Contents matched with what you're looking for before finalizing the book for publishing. Otherwise, what's the point? It doesn't help me to tell me that Wizard Spell Descriptions are on page 97 when they actually start on page 158 (or whatever it is, point is it doesn't match).  I'm very familiar with The Forgotten Realms setting, as that's where I played all throughout 2nd Edition AD&D. And as a Critter, I'm pretty familiar with the world of Exandria. I have a passing familiarity with Dragonlance and Greyhawk as well. I am looking for a 1st Edition Pathfinder game somewhere in the Vancouver BC/Lower Mainland area. My schedule is very flexible, so any day is acceptable. I'm not squeamish about NSFW content. I don't go out of my way to find it, but I'm okay with it being included in the game. I enjoy a good mixture of combat and role playing.  If anyone has an open spot in their game, or is looking to create a whole new group from scratch, I'm available.

Hi~ I'm Grim/[IRL Name] I'm an experienced player and GM, and have played and GMed PF2e since release, and have been playing TTRPGs for 10+ years now. I'm equally invested in RP and Combat when it comes to games and am always willing to take a step back should someone says I'm getting too excitable while talking shop or being in character. I have experience playing on most online mediums. In the past year I've been stuck only GMing and really want to find a group to be able to be a player with. I usually go for martial classes, and I've been really wanting to finally try Exemplar or Kineticist. My ideas for them are an Exemplar styled after a Super Robot (ex. Hello, there! My name is Rampy (AG; any pronouns) and I'm looking to take part in a long-form campaign. Preferably on a weekly basis, but as long as we have consistent, sizable sessions, bi-weekly is fine. I have ample experience with the D&D 5e system (2014, not so much 2024) and enjoy all aspects of the game. I am new to roleplaying, but eager to grow in that area. I like to think I have a diverse playstyle, capable of filling gaps in parties in needed, but I tend to lean toward martial classes and the "jerk with a heart of gold" archetype. While I prefer D&D 5e (mostly due to familiarity), I am flexible in terms of what systems. I've also played Deathwatch, Mutants and Masterminds, Pathfinder 2e, Rogue Trader, Shadowrun. Additionally, I'm willing to try new systems or the numerous D&D 5e homebrews such as Final Fantasy XIV, Monster Hunter, Pokemon, Star Wars, etc. In the lengthy gaps between campaigns, I've spent an inordinate amount of time homebrewing and creating characters. I tend to like sprinkling a little (or sometimes a lot) of homebrew in my characters, as I feel it helps them feel more personal. This is not a requirement for me to enjoy the game, but such allowances (with DM approval, of course) are greatly appreciated. My only limitations in terms of player conduct and game content are the usual things: No bigotry, communicate when you have problems, keep in-game conflict in-game, and be tasteful when describing horrible or otherwise NSFW things. Hey, I'm Turtles! I'm 21 and use he/they pronouns. I'm looking to play 2024 D&D with a group some cool people!! I've played in a handful of games using the 2014 rules but I find 2024's changes in the lore, classes (mainly monk), and rules super interesting and I've been itching to try them out! As for the kind of game I'd be interested in playing in, I'd like to play in a heroic fantasy type game that is equal parts fun combat and character roleplay. I like joking around in my games but I'm also invested in the game's story and characters and I'm able to be serious during important moments. other small things: - I don't like ai being used in games - I would apprieciate a battle map during combat. It could just be a blank grid with tokens, I just struggle with theater of the mind. I'm available on any day except Thursdays.
