I am interested in playing with a group that challenges my role playing skills. Mystery and puzzles always the better. Depending on the game, I could play power hungry, but not in abuse of game rules, in the literal sense. A wizard looking for immortality, a sorcerer looking to become an actual dragon, a fighter looking to master the blade. I am very open however to playing a character to help a DM push a plotline. For example, a Warforged left without a memory, to be filled in later. A Warlock who just wants to find out what happened to his brother, who got wrapped up in some story the DM decides.

My name is Brandon, though people online prefer to call me "Undead". Me and a friend of mine are looking to be players together in long-term fantasy campaign. We are hoping to find a group that we can mesh even outside the game, and play anytime at/after 6pm CST (UTC-5) on Thursdays. About Me I am 23, an aspiring artist, casual gamer, queer-friendly, and have an undying passion for D&D ever since I first played back in 2022. I have 4 collective years of experience playing 5e and 5.5e as almost exclusively a Dungeon Master and am very familiar with nearly all the common rules. As both an artist and DM, I bring my own art assets to the games I'm involved in and would consider bringing other players' characters to life just for fun! Otherwise, I enjoy all forms of animation media including Anime and classic cartoons like AtLA. My hobbies aside, I graduated from college with a BFA in Animation last year. I try to be an open-minded, respectful person as much as I can be and as such, no person will ever have to fear discrimination or any other form of hate speech from me. I would be interested in playing in any fantasy campaign setting, homebrew or otherwise, that includes the colorful variety of races that would enable me to play either a Firbolg Artificer or Kenku Wizard under 5.5e's rules. Historically having been primarily a DM, I am invested in the player characters' interpersonal interactions and have a good sense for how to move a story/scene forward, alleviating the heavy expectations of the DM to carry every beat. (If that sounds like a breath of fresh air for any DMs, I know how you feel, haha) Otherwise I am equally roleplay and combat motivated, so a 60/40 or 40/60 split of combat and roleplay is the goldilocks zone for me. I am open to all kinds of game themes and topics during the game including commonly 'difficult' ones except explicit NSFW roleplay (player romance is fine, but I may not indulge). I am familiar with Roll20 and D&DBeyond, but am open to using whatever VTT the DM prefers as long as it's free. About Koijo (my +1) Koijo, my duo, is a long-standing friend of mine who shares as similar passion of D&D with me. We have a lot in common, including our interests and open-minded, respectful treatment of others. He started playing in 2024 and has roughly 2 years of D&D experience, mostly as a player, but recently as a DM as well. I have been playing DnD for 10+ years, and I am very familiar with the mechanics and rules of both DnD and Pathfinder I have no strong preferences towards the type of campaign I play whether it be RP or Combat leaning, I also enjoy interacting with the table outside of games and making friends, I am of the belief that We all play this game to have fun and enjoy ourselves. Hello. I got into DnD when 3.5 was the current edition, then dropped out and returned for 5th edition recently. I also played some Pathfinder 2E and Call of Cthulhu, and I dabble in other systems I haven't quite been able to play yet (like Vampire: the Masquerade and its sibling systems, or various Powered by the Apocalypse ones). I am looking for an occasional one-shot or short adventure (2-6 sessions tops), to augment my gaming time and test out character concepts I haven't gotten to play in my long-term campaign. I tend to create characters and put them in the drawer until it's time to pull one out, so chances are, for any group or adventure out there, I might have a character or five that would fit, although I am likely to make a new one custom-fit to what a group needs because the act of creating characters is so much fun in its own right. I like variety in my game sessions, some battles, some roleplay, some skill checks (exploration, socializing, puzzles, etc.), some funny times and some serious times. I tend to build and play tank and support characters (there's always a demand for those, it seems), though I can play a straightforward striker too, if it's the right fit for a party. I personally lean towards Good and Lawful, so most of my characters will reflect that, though I can make Evil, Chaotic or even Chaotic Evil characters if they're an especially good fit for an adventure or a given party (aside from murder hoboing, I never saw the point in that and I'm afraid I would not have fun in such a party). For some of my inspiration, it's gotta be the Witcher (both the books by Andrew Sapkowski and the games based on those), the Dark Souls franchise, Baldur's Gate 3 (obvious, I know, but it would be a glaring hole to not mention it) but also old school Final Fantasy games (VI is my favourite, with Terra and Locke and their friends) as well as League of Legends (I played for a few years and then quit when life got too busy, but I've kept fond memories of it all the same). My availability is currently uncertain, hence why I would prefer one-shots or shorter adventures. I could eventually commit to something longer, but I'd rather try out and negotiate something short, then once I prove myself to the others and find a group I feel really welcome in, I can consider committing to a larger campaign. Hello, there! I am a veteran player (38-years-old) who switched to D&D 5.5 ever since its release and has played sessions weekly (even multiple times a week). My window of availability is between 6 AM and 11:30 AM, and between 2 PM and 10:30 PM, CET times. I like exploration and all kinds of discoveries. I enjoy RP the most when it furthers the characters, the campaign's story or both. I like combat especially when it mixes in interesting mechanics and objectives, and when I can be creative in my descriptions and my actions. I love overcoming challenges, whatever form they take, through teamwork and preparation. I like believable character actions, because I value immersion a lot, which is why I generally prefer a serious tone over a silly one. Jokes are more than fine, but I much prefer it when they don't undercut tense and emotional moments. As a player, I'm committed, invested in the story and a note-taker, I gravitate the most towards themes related to morality, knowledge/lore and creativity/art, I take my time to gather information and strategize, and I'm good-aligned pretty much always. I never come into a campaign with a clear idea on what character to play, as I very much enjoy trying to weave species, class, concept and backstory with the campaign's world, letting the latter inspire character creation itself. So I tend to ask some questions after I join a new game, to get a better idea and then decide, with an eye on party composition as well. As a person, I'm a big believer in fairness, I'm as anti-toxicity as it gets, and I'm respectful, inclusive, punctual and communicative.

Hello! My name is Michael, but I also go by “MAC” when playing DnD (there’s always too many Michaels at a table!). I live in Orlando, FL. Most of my career has been as a professional actor and improv performer so being engaging and creative is rarely a problem for me. I’ve been playing DnD for about 2 years now (mostly 5e and 5.5e but have delved a little into DCC) and both play and DM. I've been playing D&D 5e since around 2018 and have experience as both a player and DM across long-term campaigns, West Marches games, and one-shots. I enjoy character-driven campaigns with a good mixture of roleplay, exploration, and combat, especially when player decisions have meaningful consequences and the world develops in response to them. I generally prefer creating characters that fit the campaign rather than expecting a campaign to accommodate a pre-existing character. I enjoy serious and darker stories, but I also appreciate humor and the unexpected moments that naturally develop during play. My work follows a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, so I'm primarily looking for biweekly games that align with my off-weeks. I'm in US Central Time but work nights, so I'm available across a fairly broad range of hours and am happy to play with groups in other time zones.

Greetings! I'm Micah. I prefer a good balance of combat and roleplay; so I'm not really into dungeon-crawls (all combat, no roleplay), but also not interested in political intrigue either (all roleplay, no combat). I'm available most evenings; just can't do evenings on Wednesdays (I'm in US Central Time). I would prefer weekly games, and I will not join paid games. I consider myself an intermediate player, but only about half of my experience is actually playing. I like when choices and relationships actually matter over time, and consequnces come back and bite you in the ass. I tend to put quite a lot of thought into my characters and backstories, but I still want them to fit the DM’s world and the party rather than take over the campaign. I'm Nick, I'm a 32yo male/AMAB non-binary person, with a few years of experience playing D&D 3.5, D&D 5.0, and CoC 7th. I'm a little burnt out on those (mostly D&D/high fantasy) so I'd prefer to play a different system, but I'm not against those systems if the campaign is appealing enough. I'm open-minded, intelligent, and a quick learner so picking up new systems is pretty easy for me. The systems that appeal to me the most right now are Mutants & Masterminds, Cyberpunk, Mothership, Kult, Unknown Armies, any World/Chronicles of Darkness system, or any obscure or homebrew horror system (any setting with heavy horror). My ideal group would consist of people around my age but I'll play with anyone 18+. I'm friendly and get along with pretty much everyone, and have thick skin so I don't mind banter, darker themes, or adult content. LGBTQIA+ friendly (obviously lol), female friendly, POC friendly. I'm also not going to get too antsy if we get a little derailed from play sometimes, especially with goofier groups, but I love serious play just as much. Currently looking to play weekly on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday, during evenings/nights. Saturdays are undesirable at the moment but if I really love the campaign idea I can make the time for it. I can't play Tuesday afternoons and both Wednesday and Sunday are off limits at the moment. Long term campaigns are ideal. I'm a pretty dedicated player, I rarely miss sessions. Any VTT is fine (I love Foundry), theater of the mind is also fine. I'm not a big fan of Roll20 but I'll use it if I have to lol. I have and use Discord regularly. I also would pefer not to be on cam, but I do have a webcam. However I do not want to be recorded and posted on the public internet so skip me if you're running on a stream, youtube recording, podcast, etc. Recordings for private note-taking purposes are okay but do not post them online publicly. I love creating characters (especially flawed characters) so I usually have several character ideas for multiple systems either ready-to-play or brewing, even for systems I've ever played (such as M&M 3e, Unknown Armies, Kult, etc). I'm flexible enough to stick with RAW or go full homebrew, I will always work with the DM to ensure that my character is suitable for their campaign, especially if we dive into heavy homebrew. I generally prefer not to min/max but I'm not against it, I just find flawed characters (mechanical and flavor) to be far more interesting and fun to play. I don't meta game, backseat game, rules lawyer, and I don't have main character syndrome (if anything I'm a little shy of the limelight). I can also handle bad outcomes and character death, I believe that's just part of the storytelling aspect of TTRPGs. I love roleplay, combat, exploration, puzzle solving, pretty much every aspect of TTRPGs so I'm generally comfortable with any ratio. I also sometimes to photo-manipulation/digital collage art, drawn art (digital and traditional), etc for my character, other characters, campaigns, but I'm not very good at it (yet). Usually this is for comedic effect or out of necessity. I also do art and writing outside of TTRPG play. Not interested in play-by-post or paid games, sorry.

Hi! I'm a 29 year old gal. I've been RPing for about a decade across various platforms and mediums, including TTRPG, text, and VC. I would love to find a group that emphasizes RP and immersion. I'm Norwegian, based in Oslo (CET Timezone). US EST and European-friendly times are ideal, but I can be flexible. What's up, I'm Grembo. I've been playing tabletops off and on for a little over ten years. I started with D&D 3.5, moved to 5e. Then did Pathfinder 2e, and Star Wars FFG (which is my personal favorite). I love a good combination of rp and mechanics/combat! Seeing how characters engage with each other, the plot, and their own personal stories is always the highlight of any campaign! But I also love to see the funny little guys throw out their funny little numbers. For builds, I do have a strong tendency to play tanks, as I love to take a hit for the team. And I love a big ass shield, it's chefs kiss if there's good shield mechanics in a game. For characters, I've got a variety of pre-existing brain barbies to choose from, but I can always make a new one if need be for a campaign! Most important of all, mutual respect and kindness in any group is a big priority. Being cruel or adversarial kind of goes against the collaborative point of the game, y'know?

I've been playing D&D off and on since I was 8 either with my dad or my friends in highschool. Most of my experience is with 5e and I've been playing 5.5 pretty regularly since it came out but honestly I'm pretty tired of it, it just doesn't give me what I want out of a ttrpg. I’m primarily looking for in-person gaming and would like to find a regular local group. I'm also not particularly interested in min/maxing or trying to "win". I mostly want to make a character and see what happens to them. I've been curious about the game for a long time now and have read through the rulebook and its supplements/fan additions a couple of times at this point, but never had the opportunity to join a game. After watching a live play by Rolls of Engagement on YouTube, however, I finally feel motivated enough to find a group to play with! I'm pretty inexperienced as far as TTRPG's go (only played a single campaign of DnD), but am eager to gain more. In terms of game style I'm all for role play focused campaigns as long as there's still some combat sprinkled in, as i do enjoy engaging with a games systems as well. I don't have a camera to use on my main PC (I'm a camera shy anyways), but i do have a microphone and am willing to use one if its to the groups preference. My campaigns have often ended early due to real-life schedules, so while I enjoy the game deeply, my late-level experience is somewhat limited. However, I am hoping to find a group where we can build a story together that might go the distance. My favorite games focus on exploring player character backgrounds as part of the campaign narrative. I put a lot of work into character creation, so I value seeing that development happen for myself and my teammates. I would be interested in trying the Pathfinder 2E system or Daggerheart, but have no experience with those compared to 2014/2024 DnD 5e.
