So, about me, been playing for 11-12 years, started out GMing and probably on the whole find that the more rewarding part of the hobby, but I enjoy playing as well. Played quite a range of systems by this point; did my mandatory few years of D&D and Pathfinder, actually started with Dark Heresy. But I've run Shadowrun briefly, Mutants and Masterminds, dipped my toes in World of Darkness.  I think a benefit of my time behind the screen is that I'm relatively flexible in what I enjoy. I can go for deep and character driven games, but I also appreciate the fun of a good dungeoncrawl or epic combat. I'm absolutely a sucker for intrigue, but I'm not above playing characters dumb as a brick. I'm perhaps overly comfortable playing morally grey grand bastards, but when I think of my favourite recent characters, the Lawful Good Rogue probably ranks as the most compelling.  I'll admit, though I'm by no means someone who can only enjoy hyper-simulationist games, I do occasionally tend to press up against overly artificial system restrictions. In Starfinder, my character did over time trend towards 'why don't we vent the airlock before we go in... soften them up.', and in general, I see a balanced encounter and will often think 'how can rig the deck a bit more in my favour'. Also not a big fan of 'Narrative' games, like Powered by the Apocalypse. For whatever reason, they are the one genre I've never quite meshed with.  But yeah, I am generally open to try different systems, and flexible about my exact role in whatever party I join.

Hello, there!  I am a veteran player (38-years-old) who switched to D&D 5.5 ever since its release and has played sessions weekly (even multiple times a week). My window of availability is between 6 AM and 11:30 AM, and between 2 PM and 10:30 PM, CET times. I like exploration and all kinds of discoveries. I enjoy RP the most when it furthers the characters, the campaign's story or both. I like combat especially when it mixes in interesting mechanics and objectives, and when I can be creative in my descriptions and my actions. I love overcoming challenges, whatever form they take, through teamwork and preparation. I like believable character actions, because I value immersion a lot, which is why I generally prefer a serious tone over a silly one. Jokes are more than fine, but I much prefer it when they don't undercut tense and emotional moments. As a player, I'm committed, invested in the story and a note-taker, I gravitate the most towards themes related to morality, knowledge/lore and creativity/art, I take my time to gather information and strategize, and I'm good-aligned pretty much always. I never come into a campaign with a clear idea on what character to play, as I very much enjoy trying to weave species, class, concept and backstory with the campaign's world, letting the latter inspire character creation itself. So I tend to ask some questions after I join a new game, to get a better idea and then decide, with an eye on party composition as well. As a person, I'm a big believer in fairness, I'm as anti-toxicity as it gets, and I'm respectful, inclusive, punctual and communicative.

I cut my teeth on AD&D 2e, from back in middle school all the way through college.  Played lots of SWRPG and various text-based MMORPG MUSHes, too.  For almost 20 years, off and on. Then life got in the way, my group found itself spread a bit thin, and I haven't RPed since I dabbled in 3.5e over a decade ago. Then the last year or so, an old party member decided to GM a couple of games (one in 5.5e, one in LOTR 5e) and invited me to join.  I'm way into both...but he's spread too thin and we barely play.  Chomping at the bit over here.  Looking for another game to fill in the spaces between amazing but sporadic campaigns.  Once every two weeks, max.  Prefer late nights EST (after 8PM is best, weekends best but any night potentially possible).

I'm Nick, I'm a 32yo male/AMAB non-binary person, with a few years of experience playing D&D 3.5, D&D 5.0, and CoC 7th. I'm a little burnt out on those (mostly D&D/high fantasy) so I'd prefer to play a different system, but I'm not against those systems if the campaign is appealing enough. I'm open-minded, intelligent, and a quick learner so picking up new systems is pretty easy for me. The systems that appeal to me the most right now are Mutants & Masterminds, Cyberpunk, Mothership, Kult, Unknown Armies, any World/Chronicles of Darkness system, or any obscure or homebrew horror system (any setting with heavy horror). My ideal group would consist of people around my age but I'll play with anyone 18+. I'm friendly and get along with pretty much everyone, and have thick skin so I don't mind banter, darker themes, or adult content. LGBTQIA+ friendly (obviously lol), female friendly, POC friendly. I'm also not going to get too antsy if we get a little derailed from play sometimes, especially with goofier groups, but I love serious play just as much. Currently looking to play weekly on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday, during evenings/nights. Saturdays are undesirable at the moment but if I really love the campaign idea I can make the time for it. I can't play Tuesday afternoons and both Wednesday and Sunday are off limits at the moment. Long term campaigns are ideal. I'm a pretty dedicated player, I rarely miss sessions. Any VTT is fine (I love Foundry), theater of the mind is also fine. I'm not a big fan of Roll20 but I'll use it if I have to lol. I have and use Discord regularly. I also would pefer not to be on cam, but I do have a webcam. However I do not want to be recorded and posted on the public internet so skip me if you're running on a stream, youtube recording, podcast, etc. Recordings for private note-taking purposes are okay but do not post them online publicly. I love creating characters (especially flawed characters) so I usually have several character ideas for multiple systems either ready-to-play or brewing, even for systems I've ever played (such as M&M 3e, Unknown Armies, Kult, etc). I'm flexible enough to stick with RAW or go full homebrew, I will always work with the DM to ensure that my character is suitable for their campaign, especially if we dive into heavy homebrew. I generally prefer not to min/max but I'm not against it, I just find flawed characters (mechanical and flavor) to be far more interesting and fun to play. I don't meta game, backseat game, rules lawyer, and I don't have main character syndrome (if anything I'm a little shy of the limelight). I can also handle bad outcomes and character death, I believe that's just part of the storytelling aspect of TTRPGs. I love roleplay, combat, exploration, puzzle solving, pretty much every aspect of TTRPGs so I'm generally comfortable with any ratio. I also sometimes to photo-manipulation/digital collage art, drawn art (digital and traditional), etc for my character, other characters, campaigns, but I'm not very good at it (yet). Usually this is for comedic effect or out of necessity. I also do art and writing outside of TTRPG play. Not interested in play-by-post or paid games, sorry.

I've been a longtime vicarious enjoyer of TTRPG's, watching and listening to every actual play podcast and show I could get my hands on. I fell in love with the colaborative storytelling, comraderie, world building, and the way it invigorated my imagination and creativity.  I am an avid reader, and lover of literature and poetry. Which I belive is why I am drawn to TTRPG's. I personally belive that storytelling is a foundational way we as humans interpret and explore the deeper truths of the human condition. My 2 favourtie TTRPG's currently are Pathfinder 2e and Shadowdark. I like Pathfinder's deep character creation and crunchy combat, and the lore of Golarion is nearly endless. I like Shadowdark for its unforgiving encounters and exploration focus, it pulls no punches, which makes survival a true achievement. Now I am taking the plunge into actually playing the games I have admired for so long, a both anxious and exciting endeavor. I have a fairly robust understanding of the rules, as I have been reading the Rulebooks for years at this point. I like to think I make compelling and deep characters, with coherent worldviews and motivations, and room to change and grow throughout a campaign.  My drawback is that I am not very accustomed to rollplaying yet, acting is something I have never been comfortable doing... its hard to come out of your shell!  What I am looking for is a group who would allow me the room to grow that roleplaying skill, who themselves are interested in roleplaying and telling grand stories together, just like the authors of the great literature I adore so dearly. Stories of heroism, triumph, loss, tragedy, revenge, and hope. If you would be willing to have me, I'd love to play!

Most of my career has been as a professional actor and improv performer so being engaging and creative is rarely a problem for me. I am interested in playing with a group that challenges my role playing skills. Mystery and puzzles always the better. I am good with straight rules, or home rules, or even custom therian races or whatever, as long as they are consistent make sense for the game. Crazy fox guy who can't stay still, sure, as long as that plays out through the story. Depending on the game, I could play power hungry, but not in abuse of game rules, in the literal sense. A wizard looking for immortality, a sorcerer looking to become an actual dragon, a fighter looking to master the blade. I am very open however to playing a character to help a DM push a plotline. For example, a Warforged left without a memory, to be filled in later. A Warlock who just wants to find out what happened to his brother, who got wrapped up in some story the DM decides.

My name is Brandon, though people online prefer to call me "Undead". Me and a friend of mine are looking to be players together in long-term fantasy campaign. We are hoping to find a group that we can mesh even outside the game, and play anytime at/after 6pm CST (UTC-5) on Thursdays. About Me I am 23, an aspiring artist, casual gamer, queer-friendly, and have an undying passion for D&D ever since I first played back in 2022. I have 4 collective years of experience playing 5e and 5.5e as almost exclusively a Dungeon Master and am very familiar with nearly all the common rules. As both an artist and DM, I bring my own art assets to the games I'm involved in and would consider bringing other players' characters to life just for fun! Otherwise, I enjoy all forms of animation media including Anime and classic cartoons like AtLA. My hobbies aside, I graduated from college with a BFA in Animation last year. I try to be an open-minded, respectful person as much as I can be and as such, no person will ever have to fear discrimination or any other form of hate speech from me. I would be interested in playing in any fantasy campaign setting, homebrew or otherwise, that includes the colorful variety of races that would enable me to play either a Firbolg Artificer or Kenku Wizard under 5.5e's rules. Historically having been primarily a DM, I am invested in the player characters' interpersonal interactions and have a good sense for how to move a story/scene forward, alleviating the heavy expectations of the DM to carry every beat. (If that sounds like a breath of fresh air for any DMs, I know how you feel, haha) Otherwise I am equally roleplay and combat motivated, so a 60/40 or 40/60 split of combat and roleplay is the goldilocks zone for me. I am open to all kinds of game themes and topics during the game including commonly 'difficult' ones except explicit NSFW roleplay (player romance is fine, but I may not indulge). I am familiar with Roll20 and D&DBeyond, but am open to using whatever VTT the DM prefers as long as it's free. About Koijo (my +1) Koijo, my duo, is a long-standing friend of mine who shares as similar passion of D&D with me. We have a lot in common, including our interests and open-minded, respectful treatment of others. He started playing in 2024 and has roughly 2 years of D&D experience, mostly as a player, but recently as a DM as well. Greetings! I'm CoffeeandCantrips, and I'd be delighted to be your fellow player-character or DM! I'm a 35 year old Englishman lost in Scotland, a graduate and professional aspiring amateur-to-professional games-master on the side. Seems like the perfect side-hustle, making magic happen. I've always wanted to give it a try, and thus the second launch this project now. I've been aware of RPG's since my early teens, being vaguely introduced to it by almost every western animated cartoon referencing it in at least one episode. I took the plunge at university, and I've been hooked and rolling dice ever since. I've been in-and-out playing table-top RPG's for just under 20 years now, including DM'ing, serious player rolelay, LARP'ing, you name it. I have *some* Roll20 experience, I would estimate about just under 100 or so hours on a previous account before the new account and rebranding! I've tried to dabble where I can, but primarily my experience is with D&D 3.5, 4th edition, 5th, 5.5e, Pathfinder 1st edition, as well as a handful of other systems briefly. Tabletop RPG's to me, is the top-tier of entertainment and best way to spend some time sitting around with old and new friends, sipping nice drinks, eating snacks, and sharing awesome stories -- that's a good life. Old-school person-to-person socializing, chatting, communities -- that's what it's about. It makes for a quality team-building and problem-solving experience. I've played and also run - forum play-by-post, live-chat typing sessions, in-person tabletop dice-rolling, voice and video sessions and tourist-themed games. As far as theme and styling and tone - I usually enjoy lighter games, with darker discoveries and undertones, I'm mostly influenced by the Fable and Baldur's Gate series. Because of my full-time work and so I can affort to spend time elsewhere with other loved-ones, I can only ever confirm for one-shot, one-time events. My lifestyle doesn't support ongoing campaigns, though I am very supportive and envious of those who do get to enjoy long-form! As a player, I don't mind what system we play, who we're with or what character I play, I can usually come up with something. I usually like to fill and round out a party composition. The joy of the play is the most important thing, and it's important to keep practicing, stretching and improving! As a DM, I mostly very much enjoy introducing the game to newer players. There are a lot of very experienced gamers out there with the opportunity and community in order to play, but I tend to find that there are many many people out there who would love to try D&D because of their favorite shows (Stranger Things and Critical Role, especially), but don't know who to turn to or where to start: Sometimes, it's just nice to be given a good start and a good introduction into the hobby, and to be guided through the sometimes intimidating Player's Handbook! Hi folks. My name is Frank from germany and I am born in 1978. I started playing TTRPGs in the late 80s/early 90s (don't remember exactly) and had a hiatus between 2008 and 2016. In the early and mid 2000s I participated in the organization for a local convention of the german TTRPG Midgard. Most of my life I was the GM and to be honest I really liked it (probably more than beeing a player). At the moment I play in 2 local monthly goups (no GMing). I am not sure if I have to quit one of the groups I am currently playing in because I really dislike the system we are playing (Warhammer Fantasy 4E) and the group is not willing to change that in the near future. Besides of that I am more than curious to try out online gaming although I never did before. So please be patient with me. Old man incoming ;-) Today I enjoy OSR-games the most (Fantasy, SciFi and all other genres). The simplicity of it is just something I really embrace. I dislike extensive backstories for my PCs. I am convinced that it is more natural to build their personality as I play. I don't need characters that have already achieved everything in their backstories. Besides of that I am a gamer not a novelist ;-) I like my characters to go down in a big blow. They should not die of old age. The most memorable PCs I had are all dead :-) The worst thing that could happen to me as a player is if I recognize that the GM cheats just to safe me from certain death. DON'T DO THAT ;-) As a GM I roll openly and take the results as they roll. I don't balance encounters but I consider myself "fair" in regards of worldbuilding and player choices. I like when players don't optimize and just play without searching the solution on their character sheet. I will kill your character if they make bad choices or if fate demands it. I am not into voice acting or such things and I hate it to waste precious game time on playing out every-day-life of characters. The tavern evening with just talking, the 2 hour shopping tour with the local merchants, the chillout session in the public bath I've seen it all and I hated every single minute of it. Bring on the action, the adventure, thats the reason I play. As you may have noticed english is not my mothertounge. Especially my spoken english is probably not the best. But I think I could manage to be in an english speaking group. At least I would try it. I would love to find a group where I could try out online gaming as a player. I think I would not start online gaming as a GM right away but would love to evolve into that. I really don't care how to play online: VTT, Discord, Teams whatever. I really don't care at this point in time.

Hello. I got into DnD when 3.5 was the current edition, then dropped out and returned for 5th edition recently. I also played some Pathfinder 2E and Call of Cthulhu, and I dabble in other systems I haven't quite been able to play yet (like Vampire: the Masquerade and its sibling systems, or various Powered by the Apocalypse ones). I am looking for an occasional one-shot or short adventure (2-6 sessions tops), to augment my gaming time and test out character concepts I haven't gotten to play in my long-term campaign. I tend to create characters and put them in the drawer until it's time to pull one out, so chances are, for any group or adventure out there, I might have a character or five that would fit, although I am likely to make a new one custom-fit to what a group needs because the act of creating characters is so much fun in its own right. I like variety in my game sessions, some battles, some roleplay, some skill checks (exploration, socializing, puzzles, etc.), some funny times and some serious times. I tend to build and play tank and support characters (there's always a demand for those, it seems), though I can play a straightforward striker too, if it's the right fit for a party. I personally lean towards Good and Lawful, so most of my characters will reflect that, though I can make Evil, Chaotic or even Chaotic Evil characters if they're an especially good fit for an adventure or a given party (aside from murder hoboing, I never saw the point in that and I'm afraid I would not have fun in such a party). For some of my inspiration, it's gotta be the Witcher (both the books by Andrew Sapkowski and the games based on those), the Dark Souls franchise, Baldur's Gate 3 (obvious, I know, but it would be a glaring hole to not mention it) but also old school Final Fantasy games (VI is my favourite, with Terra and Locke and their friends) as well as League of Legends (I played for a few years and then quit when life got too busy, but I've kept fond memories of it all the same). My availability is currently uncertain, hence why I would prefer one-shots or shorter adventures. I could eventually commit to something longer, but I'd rather try out and negotiate something short, then once I prove myself to the others and find a group I feel really welcome in, I can consider committing to a larger campaign. I've been playing D&D 5e since around 2018 and have experience as both a player and DM across long-term campaigns, West Marches games, and one-shots. I enjoy character-driven campaigns with a good mixture of roleplay, exploration, and combat, especially when player decisions have meaningful consequences and the world develops in response to them. I generally prefer creating characters that fit the campaign rather than expecting a campaign to accommodate a pre-existing character. I enjoy serious and darker stories, but I also appreciate humor and the unexpected moments that naturally develop during play. Greetings! I'm Micah. I prefer a good balance of combat and roleplay; so I'm not really into dungeon-crawls (all combat, no roleplay), but also not interested in political intrigue either (all roleplay, no combat). I'm available most evenings; just can't do evenings on Wednesdays (I'm in US Central Time). I would prefer weekly games, and I will not join paid games. I consider myself an intermediate player, but only about half of my experience is actually playing. There's been a long stretch of time that I haven't played, but I've still been reading all sorts of D&D stuff and hyperfixating on different things. I like long lasting campaigns, level 1-20 and beyond. I prefer a weekly set game in voice and VTT. I do not like One-shoots or west march/living worlds. I prefer games like: 1. Sandboxes. 2. Mega Dungeons. 3. High Fantasy Homebrew Worlds/AP I do not like evil games or play with evil aligned player/characters. I usually play some form of Sorcerers, Gish's and if I play outside of that I play Oracle or ninja or gunslinger (Summoner if allowed). I like to plan my character out in detail, but I try not to be over powered same time. I am looking for online game or face to face. As for online I prefer voice (Discord) and Vtt (Free one but I do have Table Top Simulator so I can use that also). As for face-to-face game must be in the Olathe, Kansas 66062 area. What's up, I'm Grembo. I've been playing tabletops off and on for a little over ten years. I started with D&D 3.5, moved to 5e. Then did Pathfinder 2e, and Star Wars FFG (which is my personal favorite). I love a good combination of rp and mechanics/combat! Seeing how characters engage with each other, the plot, and their own personal stories is always the highlight of any campaign! But I also love to see the funny little guys throw out their funny little numbers. For builds, I do have a strong tendency to play tanks, as I love to take a hit for the team. And I love a big ass shield, it's chefs kiss if there's good shield mechanics in a game. For characters, I've got a variety of pre-existing brain barbies to choose from, but I can always make a new one if need be for a campaign! Most important of all, mutual respect and kindness in any group is a big priority. Being cruel or adversarial kind of goes against the collaborative point of the game, y'know?

FREE ON TUESDAYS,WEDNESDAYS, FRIDAYS, SATURDAY Hello there! I am a vetern M20+ player with some experience in pathfinder 1e. and I am looking for more pathfinder games to join. In terms of overral pathfinder experience, I played in one normal pathfinder game, one game using mythical power, and one using pathfinder spheres of power. So I can play any game of pathfinder using those, I am mostly interrest in using spheres of power, but its not mandatory; I can play without it. For time: my timezone is gmt-3 and the days I can play are tuesday, friday(at night) saturday  I can use both roll20 and foundry, however I have yet to play pathfinder 1e using foundry, my pathfinder games were on roll20 thanks for reading.
