I am a very experienced DnD player but I'm fairly new to Hunters or werewolf but I've always been interested in running in one of these two systems but it doesn't seem smart to do that before I played a half decent amount as a player I'm very flexible both in terms of play style and character concept. I have a background in creative writing and am an aspiring voice actor with training, so character voice and presence are things I take seriously. I don't just build mechanics, I build people with psychological depth, consistent motivations and genuine emotional stakes. I'm also highly collaborative — I'd rather work with my DM before session zero to make sure my character serves the story and creates interesting dynamics than show up with something rigid that doesn't fit. I'm looking to find long term campaigns for long term connections!

25+ years of experience with 3e/3.5/PF1. Normally I'm happy to GM permanently or take turns, but I've been dealing with chronic health issues which make game preparations unreliable. I'm currently on disability, so I have both excessive free time and extremely limited funds (non-paid games preferred). I'm open 11AM to 10PM EST every day, except Sunday, alternating Tuesday evenings, and Saturday evenings. I would happily join multiple different games to fill my schedule. I love tactical combat (the more complex, the better!). I love to roleplay with other players and GMs alike, as much or as little as the group is comfortable with. Hi, I'm Patchwork. I'm a 20-something geek who enjoys spending his time on various TTRPGs. My previous group fell apart due to scheduling issues, as most do, so I'm here looking for something new! I'm mostly into the roleplaying aspect of tabletop games, I enjoy immersing myself in whatever character and world I'm put into, and bouncing off party hijinks! I usually put a lot of effort and a decent amount of writing into my characters and their backstories, but I usually do that as a creative writing exercise, and never expect a DM to know it front-to-back (I always put a summarization/TL;DR first). But if you do, all the better! In terms of systems and experience with VTTs, you can already see what systems I've looked into/played, and I've gamed a bunch in Roll20 and Foundry, so I'll have no issues navigating either of those VTTs. But if you have something new, I'm always willing to learn! As for the kind of games I'm looking for, I've been playing Fantasy for quite a long time now, and I'm hoping to get into some Sci-fi settings, and trying out systems in that niche. Greetings! My name is Martin, 30 years old, born and raised in Germany, although I had a few international stints in London (UK) and New Zealand. Campaign: I work two shifts in a weekly rhythm. So I am looking for either: A bi-weekly campaign during the work week, starting earliest 3pm (CET) Or on saturdays/sundays starting around the same time (though I can be flexible on the weekends) What I look for in a campaign is a good mix of roleplay and exploration of (ideally) homebrewed worlds. I love to get into the weeds of how religions formed, how societes interact with eachother and how the literal mechanics of arcana work in your world. I love to explore and get to know mysteries and happenings in an actual world that I can immerse myself into. I think combat should be a mechanic to get to know your characters mechanics as well as storytelling tools to further a plot or a characters ambitions. I do not like to combat every session but I would rather have 3-4 sessions without it and then hunger for it to beat up some baddies (or allies, if they misbehave). Players: I want my fellow players to immerse themselves in their characters and be able to play a role that they encompass in the party. I do not like too many OOC jokes or banter, although of course thats part of having fun with the fellow humans that inhabit characters. I also want my companions to be able to step out of their personal comfort zone and explore the ambigious morals of a characters journey in a world where there isn't necessarily a right or wrong, but a spectrum of choices. I also appreciate if my partners in crime push my characters decisions and beliefs to the brink of one might call dangerous. I am also always up for some 1 on 1 time with the characters if they want to talk IC (either in chat or in session) to explore their characters feelings. DM: Although a big influence on my tabletop journey has been informed by Critical Role and other actual plays, I know rarely anybody is a Matthew Mercer or Brennan Lee Mulligan. But I appreciate a slower pace although a bigger narrative is also appreciated, if it's well thought out and not too flat. Generally I appreciate a mix of narrative driven urgency, sprinkled with instances of Sandbox, where characters can explore their personal goals/beliefs/revenge fantasies. If you have any question on what my favourite media are that inspire a lot of my characters choices, or what my personal highlight of a sessions was, I will accomodate you! Hi! Hi! Been wearing the GM hat exclusively for a bit too long and I am currently game-less save for Play-by-Discord games. The PbD game in question is in a Westmarches-like living world campaign shared with many other players, and so I'd be interested in smaller, more deciated groups. Preferrably for real-time games via FoundryVTT or other virtual tabletop environment. I've been playing TTRPGs for over a decade now. Though my focus has been on Pathfinder 1st and 2nd edition, I have played games of OSR, Dungeon Crawl Classics, Inspectrers and Dungeon World. As I write this I am looking longingly at my Cairn 2e, Ironsworn, and Blades in the Dark books that I am yet to use. I own and am quite familiar with Foundry. My mic is pretty good (need it for my job so I use it every day), and have a decent internet connection and PC. I also own Tabletop simulator and am familiar with owlbear rodeo. I am sure I can learn any other medium you might use to play the game. Lately I have been playing solo games both in Pathfinder and other systems, from which I've learned how wonderful it is to ask questions to the dice and see where things take you. We are all people in the end and on top of that, when we are in RP I talk to you trough my character to you trough yours. I’ve been gaming a long time. By 15 (in 1995) I was a Games Rep, running demos at conventions. I love TTRPGs, whether player or GM. I just want a table that actually plays. System-wise, I like indie and old-school games, with enough crunch that every character and build feels mechanically unique and satisfying. That said, I’ll play narrative systems too. I care less about the label and more about whether the game does what it claims it does. Tone-wise, I think the best games have a healthy mix of insane hilarity, fantastical impossibility, and the horrors of reality. Just enough to make it feel real before it gets unreal. If it’s all comedy, it’s weightless. If it’s all grim, it’s depressing. I want the mix, on purpose. I’m a professional fiction writer with decades of experience. At the table, this means good improvisation skills and idea generation, as well as a good sense of story hooks and structure. If you’re creative and you communicate, we’ll get on great! "Hello there!" I don't use my char sheet only as a stat block. I build a personality and live it. If I play a bard paladin, that thing sings SABATON. Martials can engage with the environment via bonking and bonking bonking alone. That is why I'm a wizard. Power builds are for noobs, I'm here to have fun. I have a spellbook for different applications of shape water, mold earth, prestidigitation. When I play, I remove rooftiles to sneak in between them. Opponents on grease got pushed under tables and chairs. When they try to stand up breakdancing starts. I nerd out and encourage everyone to do the same. As a DM you get to fight on rooftops, underwater, runaway carriages chased by cavalry in the middle of the city. Everyone would get a tavern brawl so chairs and tables will fly! There is allways verticality. Can allways jump down from 2nd floor to the first to get away, my maps are just built like that. The NPC I make... I love to mess them up mid session. They aren't just there for your interactions. They live, breathe. Sith is allways around. Everything is messy, everything is chaotic. If you can do it, the NPC can do it - just not unfairly.

I'm Daniel, a 28yo dude looking to play either online or in person in the Minden, Nevada area. Can play pretty much any time on Wednesdays, preferably every other week. Experience: Been playing D&D on and off since maybe 2016, and have DM'd several games, though I'm looking to just be a player. Most of my experience is with 3.5e, though I'm farely familiar with 5e and have played a few one shots. I've also played Pathfinder 1e. Note that I haven't played anything in a few years now, so I may be a little rusty. I'm mostly looking to play D&D5e with some 2024 content, as I quite like some of the stuff they've done with the races, classes, and backgrounds. I don't know that I want to play a module. I'd rather play in a homebrew game, whether set in the Forgotten Realms or a similar setting. Class/Race Preferences: I love Warlocks and Necromancers first and foremost. Other classes I enjoy are Rogue, Paladin, and Critical Role's Blood Hunter, as well as Druids. As for races, I love Tieflings, Aasimar, Drow, but am also down to play a simple human from time to time if it fits the character I wanna make. At the moment I've got an idea for Chthonic Tiefling GOOlock that I'm itching to play. Role Play/Combat: My favorite games I've been in were pretty heavy in RP and made me feel an emotional connection to the player characters. At the same time, I do enjoy combat and enjoy the power fantasy of playing strong characters (though I'm also very into making an aesthetically/thematically pleasing character that may not be as strong as they could be). When it comes to combat, I don't like games where every combat encounter is Dark Souls the TTRPG. I don't mind a challenging encounter that makes me think tactically, or even the occasional encounter that isn't meant to be won, but when every encounter feels like the party is severely out-matched, that's when it stops being fun (I've been in one of those kinds of games). As I mentioned before, I do enjoy a good power fantasy, so balancing challenging encounters with some that are a breeze and make the players feel bad-ass, is the way to go for me. General Content: I like high and dark fantasy, horror, epic stories, emotional connections between characters. While I tend to lean toward serious characters and stories, comedic relief is more than welcome (and generally inevitable in my experience). Adult Content: I'm fine with mature themes if everyone else is.

Hi everyone, my name Is Dom and I have been playing/dming ttrpgs for around 6 years now. I am someone who really gets into their campaigns, for example I try to always interact with everyone at the ''metaphysical table''. I love the back and forth roleplay that people can share that most hobbies really don't explore. To further detail that point I love the dark moments where the air feels somber as the party faces an intense scene, but I also like the moments where our characters talk around a campfire having a heart to heart. I am just someone who loves talking and feeling the emotions of a game, but that does not mean I don't like combat. I adore rpg combat, most of my favorite video games are character driven tactical combat games. So when I see a new ttrpg game I immediately look at character building. I look for fun/unique playstyles the game offers. But as I say this I understand that this is not why I will stick to a campaign. I will stick to a game because I adore everyone's characters. I can get the same build theory experience from video games, but I can’t get the same feeling of playing a character at their darkest moments… or what are more likely, silly shenanigans with a group of people I love being around. So saying all of this here is my conclusion. If you want someone whose main goal is to get people involved in as many memorable moments, including moments where you almost pass out laughing but also emotionally filled moments that are enough to make a grown man cry, I am that person. ps I prefer weekends, but that I can still play weekdays if the time works
