Hi! I'm new to dnd but i'd really like to get into the game. I would prefer to play a game that's more roleplay focused rather than combat focused because i'm not all that familiar with the combat systems yet. I have played once before and I played a healer so that's what I prefer to play as.

Hello, there! I am a veteran player (38-years-old) who switched to D&D 5.5 ever since its release and has played sessions weekly (even multiple times a week). My window of availability is between 6 AM and 11:30 AM, and between 2 PM and 10:30 PM, CET times. I like exploration and all kinds of discoveries. I enjoy RP the most when it furthers the characters, the campaign's story or both. I like combat especially when it mixes in interesting mechanics and objectives, and when I can be creative in my descriptions and my actions. I love overcoming challenges, whatever form they take, through teamwork and preparation. I like believable character actions, because I value immersion a lot, which is why I generally prefer a serious tone over a silly one. Jokes are more than fine, but I much prefer it when they don't undercut tense and emotional moments. As a player, I gravitate the most towards themes related to morality, knowledge/lore and creativity/art, I take my time to gather information (keeping notes) and strategize, and I'm good-aligned pretty much always. I never come in with a clear idea on what character to play, as I very much enjoy trying to weave species, class, concept and backstory with the campaign's world, letting the latter inspire character creation itself. So I tend to ask some questions after I join a new game, to get a better idea and then decide, with an eye on party composition as well. As a person, I'm a big believer in fairness, I'm as anti-toxicity as it gets, and I'm respectful, inclusive, punctual and communicative.

Hi, my name is Gideon (32; They/them). I am looking to join a campaign with a LGBTQ+ friendly group of adults Monday-Friday after 5pm or Saturday/Sunday after 6pm EST since I work two jobs. I have played 5e, Pathfinder 1 and 2, and 3.5e, but open to trying new systems and homebrew. Still somewhat of a novice, but not entirely new. I love making all sorts of characters and contributing to a group. I am not going to make the "lone wolf", hostile, or murderhobo characters. I will pull my weight during combat, in RP, and the campaign story. I do love combat, but also love RP and I think they are both important to TTRPGs. I want the story as much as the numbers! I am okay with modules or homebrew. A long-term campaign would be the best but I am down for shorter ones as well. As for RP style, I am still struggling with accents beyond a few very bad ones (lol). I am autistic so I know I can sometimes be a little flat-toned, and I am working on watching videos for how to improve my library of accents! I enjoy learning about other's characters/stories, as well as the lore/story of the DM's world. I want a party that can be serious or silly but wants to tell a story together with the DM. I would love to get invested in characters and campaign. I want to build relationships with other player's characters and honor the effort they made in creating them, even if said character is Mr. Noodle's the Lizard who speaks only in puns. Happy to be in a campaign with romance (consensual) or without. I am more than happy with detailed worlds and involved/complex plots. I am a lover of Dune (books and films), The Expanse (books and series), Lord of the Rings (books and films), Poppy War, Red Rising, Arrows of the Queen, and others. I do not get inebriated at the tables and never have, so if that is something other players or you as a DM worry about or have dealt with, you won't with me. I am also an artist and love to doodle for campaigns. I have a Discord and working mic/camera. I am a note-taker and pay attention. So if you are a DM that wants a player who will pick up on subplots and details, I am for you! I do have experience with D&D Beyond as well as Owlbear. Reservation: I don't have any major phobias that need to be avoided but I won't do SA of a character. I am understanding of it being part of a backstory or world (off-screen) or if it has been discussed/agreed on between victim's player and DM yet even then only off-screen/stage. Absolutely no RP of SA. I am okay with darker themes, but I don't want to be in campaigns with fantasy racism or "women and AFAB people can't be fighters" stuff where the DM uses it as an excuse for their sexism. If it's part of the world, fine, but don't be obnoxious about it and make playing anything other than a male character miserable. Hello everyone! my name is Blair, and I am a player looking for more games to play! my schedule just recently opened up, and i need to roll dice and tell some stories! a bit about me: a bulk of my TTRPG experience comes from playing 2014, but i do have experience playing other systems as well, such as Candela Obscura, Daggerheart, Pathfinder, and I've even played a homebrew version of DND. when it comes to me as a player, i do tend to play spellcasters, it just intrigues me a lot more than the martial classes, and when I do play martial classes, i always give them limited magic. I'm also a pretty respectful tablemate, i try to give my fellow players a chance to get involved. along with that, I do engage in romance, both PC and NPC, just depends on whether or not the table is down with that! oh, speaking of romance, i am Queer and trans! with the world that we exist in, I find that it is better for my table to know that upfront than learn that not only am I not cis but also, I like both boys and girls, it's just a fact of life. with that you must be a Queer and trans friendly table as well as a disabled friendly table since I am disabled as well! now to move onto a gm I would prefer: typically, how I'd parse out a potential good GM for me to play under, is I'd do a one-shot with them and see if we're a good fit, and if we can have good conversation, but considering the nature of a post like this, I am willing to forego that! that being said, you still need to have the following: be America-based and even more specifically be CST-based- since I am based in North America, I just can't do uber late games. it's not good for my mental health, and it causes me to be a terrible person for responding to DMs. RP skills - this doesn't mean that you shouldn't at least try to incorporate combat in your sessions but i need those RP skills sharpened to the max! homebrew vs. Module - I am willing to play a module but i would prefer a homebrew world. it shows that you are more than willing to be flexible with your players' stories and want to share that creativity with the world at large. recording vs basic home game - I am very okay and do consent to a recorded game, considering i have been in a few actual plays! that, however, does not mean that i will turn my nose up at a basic home game, in fact that is one of my favorites!

My actual experience in campaigns are limited to about three? Two DnD campaigns, and one from Lancer, but god knows I need to be in more. Hello I'd be interested in joining a group if possible. I am available Mon-sun starting at 7pm est except wed. I rarely miss sessions and if I think there's even a possibility, I would give a heads up. I don't mind if it's already ongoing as long as it's not to far in. I enjoy character bonding as a group and as individuals and my favorite thing about DND is creating backstories. I have a few lined up that I typically discuss with the DM to see which would be the best fit. One backstory for a example is a human rogue who's a member of a f very powerful crime family. Though he's in hiding since he's constantly getting in there way of business to ruin it. I also try to get everyone involved if I notice someone having trouble getting involved. I do prefer to focus more on the game than talking outside of game.

I have a few oneshots behind me and one campaign, otherwise I was the player. Still some rules are vague to me so I apologise forward if I get smth wrong. I'm an adult, but a decently young one, and would prefer to play in a group of a similar age range (18-25). ‼️Important‼️ I have no interest in games that involve the use of generative AI in anyway! Do not message me if you use AI for your game!!! Or if you intend to allow players to. I have a decent amount of experience with ttrpgs in general, mainly D&D, but none with the two I'm looking for; Vampire The Masquerade and Lancer (which I recognize have very different vibes XD). For Vtm, I have some rulebooks for V5 and would say I'm decently familiar with it. I've played around with creating a few characters, and have read the books quite throughly, so I don't think I'd need too much help. I just may ask a few questions here and there. For Lancer, well, I have the rulebook. I've started to read it, but I haven't gotten that far. Joining a game would definitely encourage me to read more though, and I'd probably be able to finish it before the first session (I'm a pretty fast reader). Rulebook aside, I do have a little bit of knowledge about the rules, since I've been watching people stream it, but I'll certainly need a decent amount of help- even after I finish reading the book. My schedule is currently free but it will be changing shortly, however I should be free basically every day in the evenings (after 6pm EST). The only day I'm for sure not available is Sunday, since I have a campaign that day. I prefer to play on Discord, no camera as I currently don't have a working webcam.

Ukrainian who somewhat recently moved to Sweden so don't expect perfect Swedish from me. Don't have too much experience with TTRPGs but am willing to learn. Played a ton of BG3 and a few custom Text RPGs before so can play by post. To be honest just trying to meet new people :)

I go by Elf. Any/All pronouns.I started playing tabletops back in 2017. First 5E, then Pathfinder, and now Daggerheart is my go-to game. I've been playing since the beta in 2024, I enjoy how the system encourages creativity from the GM and the players, how you can add "flavor" to the games spells, weapons, etc. I could go on and on about why I love this game, but I have a profile to write. I'm also a roleplayer and a writer. I often roleplay with friends over Discord, and have wrote a few stories, though most of them are sitting on my desktop. I like coming up with fun characters. Some take inspiration from The Elder Scrolls or RWBY or ZZZ. One of my recent characters was inspired by Fate. Never watched, but I liked the design/concept. I tend to get ideas that sometimes explode out of me. Next thing you know, I'm openining up a character sheet. So hours. A weekly game would be ideal. I'm kind of a night owl. My time zone is EST. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, I'm available for games from 6 PM to 6 AM the next day. Wednesdays, I'm available from 1 AM (technically Thursday, but you get the idea) to 6 AM. Friday and Saturday, I'm available from 8 PM to 6 AM. Sunday is usually my busy day. Sometimes this changes, but not enough to where I can commit to a Sunday game. For late night games, I can always get some caffeine in me to keep myself awake. I've done so before. It shouldn't be a problem if we're only playing once or twice a week. One last thing to mention: I sometimes use a voice changer for roleplaying purposes to sound a certain way when speaking as my character. As mentioned above, I love roleplaying and sometimes get really into it. This is comepletly optional, however, and I don't need it if it'll be too distracting. I can turn it on and off with a press of a key. So that's it. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hello there! I am a vetern M20+ player with some experience in pathfinder 1e. and I am looking for more pathfinder games to join. In terms of overral pathfinder experience, I played in one normal pathfinder game, one game using mythical power, and one using pathfinder spheres of power. So I can play any game of pathfinder using those, I am mostly interrest in using spheres of power, but its not mandatory; I can play without it. For time: my timezone is gmt-3 and the days I can play are friday(at night) saturday sunday I can use both roll20 and foundry, however I have yet to play pathfinder 1e using foundry, my pathfinder games were on roll20 thanks for reading.

Hi all, I've been playing since August of 2025, was in a weekly campaign Sundays 5-8pm EST, but DM has left due to IRL reasons and we played a hybrid of 2014/2024 D&D with a 2014 base with some exceptions of '24 rules for classes and items being applied. It was very much a homebrew universe separate from Classic D&D so I would be a complete novice with locations in that regard. I've grown to enjoy this game and find myself seeking a game to tide things over either until or alongside the return of that campaign. I'd say I am mostly comfortable with combat. I played until level 8 so much more of later mechanics are still unknown to me and I'd be excited to find myself being able to add to another party's enjoyment! Pretty easy going and agreeable to most things, I value communication in most areas of my life so if anything were to impede plans I would give advance notice where applicable!

I'm a returning player for 5e i haven't played dnd in a while but have been watching alot of dnd and ttrpg's lately and been wanting to get back into playing dnd again. I prefer GMing because I love world building and long-term campaigns, tuning preset worlds to my signature flavor of horror and hardcore mechanics. My style is deeply immersive, often choosing to play the right track at the right second for the right scene. That said, I enjoy the acting and teamwork part of playing, so I'd like to do that as well from time to time. I recently launched a paid Vampire: The Masquerade Chronicle, so I'm willing to trade seats if our playstyles and game list match. We are a beginner-friendly D&D Discord community with over 50 members, originally started as a small helping/tutorial server for new players who wanted to get into D&D without having to pay for anything. The server is still very welcoming to beginners, but experienced players are also invited, especially if you enjoy roleplay, storytelling, helping newer players learn the game, or even running your own sessions. Adventurers Guild / West Marches-inspired one-shots This is our open-table system. I created an Adventurers Guild that posts bounties, missions, and one-shot adventures. Players can join when they are available, without needing to commit to a long campaign from the start. These games mostly use D&D 5e 2024 rules, but 2014 content and homebrew may also be allowed, depending on the DM. 2. Classic homebrew campaigns Other members can also become DMs, post their own campaign ideas, gather 4–6 players, and run their own homebrew campaign in their own channel. This can be in our shared universe or in a completely separate custom setting. My personal DM style is more focused on roleplay, story, atmosphere, and fun character moments rather than strict rules or overly complicated combat. I am very open to helping new players learn and giving people a relaxed space to try D&D. Been part of a Candela Obscura table for about 2 years every other Tuesday. Love that so much got a tattoo of it. Tried to branch out to roll 20 discord voice for a few months, got enjoyment out of it but i started to feel pressured to 'perform'. I also hated how an entire session could be filled up with just combat. While combat is fun, if it is number crunchy and too long it just feels like a waste of time. I'm a rp and lore junky. I loved the characters and story of my campaigns, did not care or know really how to make a super powerful and dps build. Which tells me while I prefer combat to be more rp prone. I'm a 34 year old mailman and husband and father, so time is very tight. I will post at least 5 posts a day. Depending on the workload and how high maintenance the family is, and if I find the pbp compelling, I might do a lot more. I hope so. That's why I ultimately ended up bowing out of the dnd. So my next stepping stone in my ttrpg journey is to find a pbp that posts normally that focuses on rp and story. While I appreciate the chaos and uncertainty of the dice it shouldn't be at the deterrent of player creativity, or fun, or rule of cool. But that's just me. I can learn any system or setting, I'm a smart dude. I value the people and the pc and the story over all. Also, I'm from Kansas. In the US. Normal sleep schedule. So CDT is where I'm at. That has been an issue before. I've never done paid pbp before but if the quality of the campaign, and set up, and pace is good enough I have no issue helping with a few dollars to the gm

While I love all aspects of DND - role play, exploring and combat - I find my favourite games are those that more or less balanced between the three. I love games that are challenging with lots of difficult choices and lean in to the party working together with the DM to create a story. I would grab at an opportunity to play in person but I've tried gaming clubs and find I can't get on with the volume of players and noise. I am a 25 year old Polish-American currently living in Krakow who has been playing DND since I was 12, with my first game being 3.5e, and most time schedules work for me! Since then I have been playing DND on and off, mostly DMing over the years. I also have some (not much) experience with Daggerheart and PF2e, alongside PF1e though I don't wish to play that. Recently I have gotten back into it because I'm gonna be honest, I feel super fucking lonely. I typically prefer Roleplay focused games with players who want to relax and get into character, though I also enjoy a challenge when I play TTRPGs. If I do get into a DND game specifically, I will not play a wizard, druid, or cleric, as all three of those subclasses are highly same-y and boring to me, though I'll happily play any build in other TTRPGs.

I have played with 2024 rule but only recently this year (2026), so I am still learning the changes. I favor over roleplaying and storytelling than combat. Basically, character growth, personality, a bit of acting, and how they face the world with the party as a group or dealing with personal problem if have to face it alone. I'm 28 years old and from Finland. I have never played DnD or Daggerheart before, but I've wanted to play for some time now, just haven't found a group yet. I know the basics about how to play DnD from reading the player's handbook, watching Critical Role, and playing Baldur's Gate 3. An overarching plot with some character beats mixed in, together with some combat.
