M32. Semi New. Played 3 season zeros but then scheduling killed the games. Willing to learn what ever system. most stuff played was homebrew. Have a couple of characters I've been sitting on that I've been wanting to play so let me know what role you need. Work nights so anything Friday thru Sunday afternoon or later works for me.

Looking for live groups for myself as well as for my young daughter who has taken interest in playing. I have some experience playing in a couple of home game with some buddies but will likely need some refreshers. As for my daughter, definitely going to need a children specific setting and plenty of patience.

I've been playing tabletop RPGs since the Red Box era and have spent most of that time behind the GM screen, though I'm always happy to be a player when the opportunity comes along. Shadowdark is my current favorite system, but I also enjoy most OSR games, Call of Cthulhu, and Barbarians of Lemuria. As a player, I enjoy exploration, meaningful choices, dangerous adventures, and character-driven roleplay. I like games where clever ideas matter as much as character sheets, and I'm perfectly happy in campaigns where the threat of failure, even character death, is part of the experience. I'm reliable, easygoing, and looking for a group that values teamwork and good table etiquette. I enjoy creating characters that fit the setting rather than bringing a pre-built concept to every campaign, and I believe everyone at the table shares responsibility for making the game fun. Outside of gaming, I'm a high school English teacher, so clear communication and consistency are important to me. If I commit to a game, you can count on me to show up prepared and ready to play.

Salutations! Recently I've discovered Delta Green and am intrested in playing it. I have played ( and Keepered ) Call of Cthulhu so I am fairly experienced with the rules and how d100 systems work. My actual experience in campaigns are limited to about three? Two DnD campaigns, and one from Lancer, but god knows I need to be in more. Hello, My name is Aaron, I have played D&D 3.x and PF1e for many years. I prefer combat little over role play, but I have no problem role playing if need be. I like long lasting campaigns, level 1-20 and beyond. I prefer a weekly set game in voice and VTT. I do not like One-shoots or west march/living worlds. I prefer games like: 1. Sandboxes. 2. Mega Dungeons. 3. High Fantasy Homebrew Worlds/AP I do not like evil games or play with evil aligned player/characters. I usually play some form of Sorcerers, Gish's and if I play outside of that I play Oracle or ninja or gunslinger (Summoner if allowed). Relatively new player looking for online dungeon and dragons games to join. Background: I've played WoW for about two decades now so I'm familiar with fantasy and role playing games. Also love TES franchise, although I don't play anything currently. Really interested in the role-playing aspect and I enjoy the challenge of the combat scenarios. I've been watching Critical Role from campaign one after watching most of the Vox Machina series so I'm fairly familiar with the game play, although primarily home brew content. Hi! Im a pretty seasoned gamer. Although I'm not exactly "the best" and win everything, I will always try my hardest to have a good time. I genuinely love connecting with people and getting to experience stories with others through roleplay. There is nothing that beats the feeling of seeing someone get that rush from defeating the big bad or getting that final piece they needed to win a board game. Speaking of board games, I also have a sizeable collection of 127 games with just about 20 that are new to the collection! Well met, stranger. I'm hiddenson. I've played different rpgs since the 90's, both as GM and as player, and I'm getting back on the saddle. I prefer GMing because I love world building and long-term campaigns, tuning preset worlds to my signature flavor of horror and hardcore mechanics. My style is deeply immersive, often choosing to play the right track at the right second for the right scene. That said, I enjoy the acting and teamwork part of playing, so I'd like to do that as well from time to time. I recently launched a paid Vampire: The Masquerade Chronicle, so I'm willing to trade seats if our playstyles and game list match. As this is my player profile, I'd like to focus on roleplay heavy horror games. I'd love to play other settings of the World of Darkness. I have a lot of experience in the previous edition of Call of Cthulhu set in the Roaring Twenties, so I'm sure I can adapt to the new edition easily. Lastly, I have little to no experience in the other titles, but I'd like the chance to try them out to round up the horror genre. When it comes to my playing style, I'm roleplay focused and lean into characters keen on knowledge and lore rather than riches. Hello adventurers! We are a beginner-friendly D&D Discord community with over 50 members, originally started as a small helping/tutorial server for new players who wanted to get into D&D without having to pay for anything. The server is still very welcoming to beginners, but experienced players are also invited, especially if you enjoy roleplay, storytelling, helping newer players learn the game, or even running your own sessions. At the moment, we have a core group of active members, with people playing or interacting almost daily. We currently run two main types of games: 1. Adventurers Guild / West Marches-inspired one-shots This is our open-table system. I created an Adventurers Guild that posts bounties, missions, and one-shot adventures. Players can join when they are available, without needing to commit to a long campaign from the start. These games mostly use D&D 5e 2024 rules, but 2014 content and homebrew may also be allowed, depending on the DM. 2. Classic homebrew campaigns Other members can also become DMs, post their own campaign ideas, gather 4–6 players, and run their own homebrew campaign in their own channel. This can be in our shared universe or in a completely separate custom setting. My personal DM style is more focused on roleplay, story, atmosphere, and fun character moments rather than strict rules or overly complicated combat. I am very open to helping new players learn and giving people a relaxed space to try D&D. Most of my sessions are usually in the evening, around 19:00–20:00 until 23:00–00:00 GMT+2, but we also have people from different time zones, so other games may happen at different hours depending on the DM and group. We are also open to people interested in becoming Dungeon Masters. I am someone who has played a low-medium amount of dnd, im in one campaign currently which ive been playing in for five sessions, this is my first campaign and i have never DMd before, i am open to DMing however and am interested in it.

Hi! All told, I only have about a year of experience playing and GMing, and it's been a looong time, so I'm sure I'm quite rusty. My time zone is CST and my schedule is open. I have no strong preferences when it comes to frequency of sessions, system, or setting. Back when my friends and I actively played, I mostly GMed, using DnD 3.0/3.5, with a little Spycraft on the side. Even though that was years ago, I've never stopped thinking about RPGs, listening to actual play podcasts like The Adventure Zone and Acquisitions, Inc., reading random supplements and forum posts, and playing video games based on tabletop systems/adventures. I love backstory, lore, and worldbuilding and enjoy combat and dungeoncrawling, too. I remember my very first RPG session, when I was a kid, immediately opened my eyes to the creativity and improvisation that the format allows. All I'd done in our first battle was ready my weapon and lightly wound an unlucky bandit... while the far more experienced players of the group spent their first few turns positioning themselves technically, slinging buffs and debuffs, and throwing a tarp over the intimidating-as-hell bandit leader and then setting it ablaze with a torch. I was astounded; I knew I had to have more. The Discworld and Hitchhiker's Guide series of books are dear to me, though I'm down for nearly any fantastical story and setting (much like Pratchett and Adams themselves). Potentially relevant-to-tabletop video game series I've enjoyed are The Witcher, Knights of the Old Republic, Fallout, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, The Elder Scrolls, Divinity, Baldur's Gate, Final Fantasy, World of Warcraft, Legend of Grimrock, and many more. I like to let other players choose their specializations first, so I can try to fill any gaps we have, then build the character's background and motivation from there. That way, everyone who really wants to play a specific role is happy and the group as a whole is well-rounded. Plus, it's just fun to mix things up from game to game, so I've never really had a favorite class, though I do enjoy playing support (gotta have a healer/medic!). If you have the patience to help me shake off the rust and adapt to your setting and system, I'll do as much or as little reading, roleplaying, and rolling as you need. Ugh, this is really starting to sound like a sales pitch, ha ha... sorry. I'll finish by simply saying that I'm excited to meet you and see what adventures you've got brewing!

Been part of a Candela Obscura table for about 2 years every other Tuesday. Love that so much got a tattoo of it. Tried to branch out to roll 20 discord voice for a few months, got enjoyment out of it but i started to feel pressured to 'perform'. I also hated how an entire session could be filled up with just combat. While combat is fun, if it is number crunchy and too long it just feels like a waste of time. I'm a rp and lore junky. I loved the characters and story of my campaigns, did not care or know really how to make a super powerful and dps build. Which tells me while I prefer combat to be more rp prone. I'm a 34 year old mailman and husband and father, so time is very tight. I will post at least 5 posts a day. Depending on the workload and how high maintenance the family is, and if I find the pbp compelling, I might do a lot more. I hope so. That's why I ultimately ended up bowing out of the dnd. So my next stepping stone in my ttrpg journey is to find a pbp that posts normally that focuses on rp and story. While I appreciate the chaos and uncertainty of the dice it shouldn't be at the deterrent of player creativity, or fun, or rule of cool. But that's just me. I can learn any system or setting, I'm a smart dude. I value the people and the pc and the story over all. Also, I'm from Kansas. In the US. Normal sleep schedule. So CDT is where I'm at. That has been an issue before. I've never done paid pbp before but if the quality of the campaign, and set up, and pace is good enough I have no issue helping with a few dollars to the gm

Hi I'm Edward. I'm an older player, been playing for about 4 years. While I love all aspects of DND - role play, exploring and combat - I find my favourite games are those that more or less balanced between the three. I love games that are challenging with lots of difficult choices and lean in to the party working together with the DM to create a story. I would grab at an opportunity to play in person but I've tried gaming clubs and find I can't get on with the volume of players and noise. I am looking for campaigns that play on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday evenings.

Hello! My name is Ray. I am a wannabe new player in my 30s looking for a weekly or bi-weekly game. I am most available on Sundays especially anytime in the morning to mid-afternoon CST/CDT. I can also play from around 8pm my time or later Monday - Saturday, especially if it's a bi-weekly game. I will commit to being on time and present for every session (barring any unforseen life events) as long as these times work for your game. I have almost no previous experience playing DnD, but I have been listening to actual play podcasts for over a decade (my favorite is NADDPOD), and I have spent a good bit of time reading about it and wanting to play. As far as RP vs combat etc. I want to play in a game that has at least a bit of everything. I want to roleplay and fight and explore because it all sounds fun, and I can't honestly say what I'll prefer until I've had the chance to experience it. Regardless I'm easygoing and willing to go with whatever flow you have planned for your game if you're willing to let me on. I have thought of characters I'd like to play but haven't spent a huge amount of time in actual character creation. My current character that I've toyed around with and actually have mostly set up is an older gnome tinkerer artificer who makes toys for kids that tend to cause comical chaos (I'm still working out how they do that without being too dangerous so input would be appreciated, lol) I also would be willing to create any character that you feel better fits your campaign if you're willing to help me brainstorm ideas. Outside of DnD, I'm a huge fan of The Wandering Inn, Dungeon Crawler Carl, and the Stormlight Archives just to name a few relevant series. I play a lot of video games from nearly every conceivable genre, and I do enjoy some Anime.

I used to play 3.5 a lot and then stopped for over 10 years after a really bad experience with a group. I came back to D&D two years ago when I was invited to join the 2014 5e campaign I am in now. I'm 28 years old and from Finland. I have never played DnD or Daggerheart before, but I've wanted to play for some time now, just haven't found a group yet. I know the basics about how to play DnD from reading the player's handbook, watching Critical Role, and playing Baldur's Gate 3. I've made a lot of characters on DnD beyond already and bought a lot of dice, so I'm excited to finally use them. I have some experience with roleplaying. I've done written RPs for over 8 years now, so I have some experience in that sense at least. I like a campaign that's a good mix of combat and roleplay, and between story-driven and character-driven. I want a bit of everything. An overarching plot with some character beats mixed in, together with some combat. I'm an introvert, so I want a game where people take that into account and make me feel welcome by including and checking in with my character from time to time. My time zone is GMT +3. I can play between the hours of 4 PM and 12 PM any day of the week.

Hi, I'm currently looking for a party to join to play ONLINE (or in person if you're based around Copenhagen). I would really prefer to play in English. It can be an existing party I can join or we can form one from scratches (the only limitation is that I can't be DM so we will need one if we form a brand new party). I don't have preferences about the campaign setting itself and it doesn't have to be roleplay heavy. It can be a brand new campaign or a campaign I can join in if it's not too late. I don't have age preferences but it would be less weird if we're mostly around 30 years old. I'm a beginner, I just completed 1 campaign set in the Forgotten Realms where I played as a Paladin under 5th Edition rules (since my experience is very limited, I guess it won't make that much of a difference to use 5.5 Edition if you prefer that). I'd like to join a different group since we have too many organizational issues with my current group and we don't play very often and games proceed too slowly due to some players who just troll and disrupt the game. Ideally, I'd like to find other beginners or people who have the patience to play with beginners and a DM who will keep trolls in check and who can keep a good game flow. The only things I ask/expect are: - Players who respect plans and other players' time. If we plan a session, you have to show up and not be prone to cancelling easily; if you have issues and can't show up, you should communicate well in advance; if you have change of plans, you should keep others posted in a timely manner. - No trolls. Laughs and playing around are fun but when nonsensical chaos is too out of control and slows down a session, that's not fun. - Respectful players. No personal insults, no bullying. - No politic talks during games. - No constant sexual jokes or roleplaying (a problem I have with my current group). - No modern sensitivites. We should not be afraid that somebody could get triggered by innocent, generalized jokes or if we misgender somebody who identify as whatever. I work on a non-fixed schedule but I am always off on Tuesday and Thursday so I'm available on: + Tuesdays until 5 PM (CET). + Thursdays any time. + Other days and times to decide on a week-to-week basis. I'm game for playing multiple times per week if we wish so and if it's compatible with everybody's plans. I think that's all. Hope to find like minded players to start a new adventure.

I’ve watched a little bit of Critical Role, Dimension 20, Legends of Avantris, etc., and it just seems right up my alley. Unfortunately for me, I also live in the middle of nowhere, and an active campaign in person is pretty much impossible to come upon without some hefty amount of travel. After a little research, I found myself here. So what am I looking for?? Well, I’m looking for a generally experienced GM who would hopefully have a campaign I would be able to join in on, which also means I’d need a group of players to join with too. I will say right off the bat, I am…inexperienced. I have never done a D&D campaign before. The closest thing I’ve done is play Baldur’s Gate 3 and that’s it. I know that doesn’t compare very well, but anyway. As such, I would really appreciate a GM and group that is totally open to newcomers. I recognize that having a new player can be a little annoying, but I’ll do my best to pick things up quickly. But I also LOVE to learn new things and so it really excites me that all of these things are so new to me. In terms of the more logistical things: - my timezone is MDT (Mountain Daylight Time), and I would require games that start anytime after 6:15PM MDT. My work schedule does not support anything before that. I am free relatively any day of the week. - I have Discord, I know of Roll20 and D&D Beyond so I am open to using either one of those systems, but I also have little experience with them in terms of actual GAMEPLAY. - I don’t have a preference in terms of what I’m expecting a campaign to look like. I like to think I can commit real well to roleplaying and creating a character and helping build the world, but if you’re more focused on combat then that’s cool too!! - I would be hoping to play as a tiefling warlock.
